The van slowed down and turned off the main road. It then crawled the remainder of the distance and came to a stop. The doors opened and Mr. Rogers and Mr. Davids exited the van. Neither man said a word; their only concern was the safety of their families. Mr. Rogers walked to the rear of the van. He then entered a five-digit number into the keypad.
Mr. Davids was next. He removed a key from underneath his shit. When he entered the key into the custom lock, something popped, and the door opened outwards. Ace and Craig hurried into the van. When Hitman heard the two scream from excitement, he knew they had pulled off the unthinkable.
Money began to transfer from one vehicle to the other. “Two minutes,” Hitman warned. He was unusually calm, not knowing if the diamonds were in the van or not. Ace and Craig continued to move at a fast pace. “I thought this was about the lady’s diamonds?” Mr. Rogers asked. “It is,” Hitman replied. “One more minute,” he stated.
Ace and Craig had made twenty trips combined. Hitman then moved to the back of the van. “That’s it y’all,” he told them. Ace and Craig moved out of the way breathing heavily. When they cleared the way, Hitman crawled inside where there were two steel boxes. He opened the first to see a red velvet box. He took the box into his unsteady hands. He couldn’t believe he was experiencing that moment.
Hitman opened the box slowly. When it was open, ten diamonds from Amanda Sanco’s collection almost blinded him. They were the clearest diamonds he’d ever seen. He closed the box and exited the van. He then approached the drivers. “Nobody will hurt y’all families, but you have to get inside the van.” Mr. Rogers and Mr. Davids climbed into the van. When Hitman closed the door, he walked over to where Craig and Ace stood. It was then that Ace pulled out the .38.
“I’m sorry Hitman, but we need those diamonds.”
Chapter 27
When Karen Rogers came from the bedroom, she was wearing her hair in a long braid. She had on Herringbone cotton slacks, and a silk blouse. Time felt like he needed to apologize for bursting in on her. “I’m sorry for just walking in on you like that,” he told her.
“It’s alright. I understand.”
“I didn’t mean anything by it.”
Mrs. Rogers stepped past him and walked into the kitchen. Time could hear the refrigerator door open and close. She then returned with a bottle and two glasses. “I don’t normally drink this early, but I also usually don’t have this type of company. Would you like some wine?” Mrs. Rogers didn’t wait for a reply. She filled both glasses and brought him one. “I hope everything works out for you. You seem like a nice young man. To the diamonds,” she said raising her glass. Time raised his glass, and then they both sipped their wine. “What time will John drop the diamonds off?” she asked him.
“It should be early this morning.” Time glanced at his watch. Then he looked at Mrs. Rogers. She was searching his face. He couldn’t help but notice her nipples were erect, but that didn’t necessarily mean anything. He moved to the front window to look out. After he checked the street for anything odd, he turned back to her. However, Mrs. Rogers was no longer sitting at the table. He turned back to the window thinking about the diamonds. A minute later, she called out to him, “Can you come here for a second please…”
When Time reached the doorway of the Rogers’ bedroom, he cautiously peered inside. “You called me?”
“I was wondering if you could help me fasten this?” She had her back to him holding up her braid. Time walked over to her, and realized why she was standing in that spot. There was a full-length mirror there. Mrs. Rogers was holding a necklace in her hands. Time took it and inspected the piece. It was one of a swan. Time reached around her and did the clasp for her. “Thank you,” Mrs. Rogers said looking at him in the mirror.
Time didn’t respond, he just looked back at her. Then he moved closer to her. When Mrs. Rogers didn’t appear afraid, he moved her braid, and planted one soft kiss on her neck. The kiss sent a chill through her and a small cry of pleasure escaped her lips. He brought his body against hers so she could feel his erection. When she didn’t shy away, he brought his hand up to her breasts and gently squeezed.
“I saw you watching me,” she whispered. Time started to unbutton her blouse while he grinded his hips against hers. He wanted her to know how hard he was. “Oh my…” she said her breathing beginning to change. “ This isn’t right.”
Before she knew it, Mrs. Rogers was standing topless in the room. She then turned to face Time. They began to kiss and Time worked her pants down. When they fell to the floor, Mrs. Rogers didn’t hesitate to step out of them. Time then began to take his clothes off. He removed his shirt and pants. When he pulled his boxers down his erect dick popped out at Mrs. Rogers.
“Oh…,” she giggled nervously. Then she reached out and grabbed it. Time guided her towards the bed. He then laid her down on the white comforter. “This is wrong,” she said guiltily, knowing what was going to happen next.
Time didn’t hesitate. First, he wrapped his lips around her nipple, and then he moved to the other one. When Mrs. Rogers hand landed on his back, he started to move his tongue down her body. Time paused only at her navel, before landing on and sucking her pussy. Just moments after he started, she began to respond.
“Oh, yes, oh that’s my spot, yes, please don’t stop!”
Time then returned to her breasts.
“Are you going to put it in?” she asked, almost begging.
Time didn’t waste another minute. He grabbed his dick and ran it across her pussy. He then positioned himself to enter her. When Time’s dick part Mrs. Rogers, she cringed. Soon she relaxed as she adjusted to his size. Slowly he pushed the rest of the way inside her, and started to stroke.
Chapter 28
“Something is wrong,” Tip whispered. “I’ve got a bad feeling. Call Hitman.” Nano looked at her troubled. Rarely were Tip’s feelings wrong. He pulled out his cell phone and dialed the number. After a few rings, he disconnected. “There’s no answer,” he told her.
Suddenly a horn blared outside. Tip moved to the window to see where the noise came from. “Psst….” Nano looked at her. “That’s our ride.” Nano walked to the window and looked out. He now had his own funny feeling. “That’s Skillz baby. I wonder why he didn’t call,” he said to her.
“I don’t know, but let’s go!” Tip took Cindy and Juice out the back of the house. She then came back in in a hurry. “Come on,” she told Nano. They ran out of the house and slid into the SUV. From Skillz’s demeanor, they could tell something was wrong.
“What’s up?” Nano asked.
“Craig and Ace drew down on Hitman. They took the diamonds.” Skillz banged his hand on the steering wheel.
“Get the fuck outta here,” Tip yelled.
“Where’s Hitman now,” Nano asked.
“He’s good; he’s just not answering the phone. Ace and Craig took the Range Rover, and he’s got the van. At the moment he’s putting up the cash they took.”
“Hold up! You mean everything went right?” Tip asked.
“Hell yeah! We did that shit! It’s the aftermath we weren’t ready for.”
“I can see Ace doing something like this, but not Craig,” Tip said trying to make sense of the situation.
“It don’t matter, they dead,” Skillz stated.
“What’s up with Time?” Nano asked.
“He’s not answering his phone either. We’re about to go check on him now.”

Once Ace and Craig had ditched the Range Rover, they called the Jewish man. If was official, and there was no turning back. Ace turned on Bethea Street. They were headed to the Radisson to meet up with their connect.
“You got some heat on you?” Ace asked.
“No.”
Ace pulled the .380 out and passed it to him. Craig checked the chamber. “There’s already one in there,” Ace said. “And the safety is off.”
“You know Ace, after this, we are that.” Ace nodded, it wa
s already something he’d considered. “How about the detail shop?”
“Forget a detail shop. We’ll start over somewhere else.”
Ace turned into the Radisson. He drove slowly scanning the room doors until he came to room 134. It was located at the back of the hotel. Ace knew they were at the right place when he spotted the Porsche. He turned in and parked beside it.
“You ready?” he asked.
Craig grabbed the velvet box. “I better be ready after what we just did.”
They stepped out thinking about the millions of dollars they were about to get. Ace was the one to knock on the door. The big white bodyguard answered. “Please, come on in. Mr. Colodon is waiting for you.”
Ace and Craig entered the room with sixteen point five million dollars worth of diamonds.

“Why does it feel like I’ve married the wrong man?” Mrs. Rogers asked.
“I’m sorry you feel that way. I wish there was something I could do about it,” Time told her. Mrs. Rogers smiled at him, “I never had it like that before,” she said redoing her braid. “Are you feeling guilty?” he asked coming up behind her. He squeezed her ass. “Nooo… I feel rejuvenated and fulfilled.” Time bent down and grabbed his pants.
“Do you think everything is all right?” She now seemed concerned.
“I hope so; I should have heard something by now.”
Mrs. Rogers turned to face him. She could see that he was looking for something. “Anything wrong?” she asked.
“I can’t find my cellphone. Your husband,”
“No, he wouldn’t have.” They both began to search the room. “Did you have it when you came in here?”
“I don’t know.”
“Is that it ringing now?”
Time stood still and listened. He then heard it ringing in the distance. They quickly exited the bedroom and headed down the hall. The sound was coming from the couch where he’d fallen asleep earlier. He threw the pillows around until the ringing became louder. The phone was in the couch. Time picked it up and looked at the caller ID. It was Skillz.
“What’s up?”
“I’ve been trying to reach you for thirty minutes. What’s going on?”
Time looked and Mrs. Rogers and smiled. “Nothing. I lost my phone.”
“The diamonds are gone! Craig and Ace jacked Hitman for them.”
“Craig and Ace,” Time said shocked.
“Hell yeah, we’re around the corner from you now.”
“Alright.” Time ended the call to wait.
“Is everything alright?” Mrs. Rogers looked on nervous. Time looked at her contemplating. He wondered if it would be alright to tell her since he’d just fucked her.
“Somebody took the diamonds.”
“What about John?”
“He’s alright. Look here, my ride is right around the corner, I’ll be gone soon.” As soon as he finished his statement, a horn blared from outside. Simultaneously, they both looked out the window. “That’s them.” Time headed for the door.
“Hold on a second!” Mrs. Rogers disappeared down the hall still naked. When she returned, she carried the Dominick’s pizza hat. “I don’t need John finding that in my bedroom, or if anyone else comes looking, finding your DNA.” She then handed him a card. “This is my cell number. If you’re still around after this and you want to… just call me,” she said then gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“I’ll call,” Time said and then ran out the door.
Chapter 29
“What took you so long?” Skillz asked backing the Explorer out rapidly.
“I was making sure I didn’t leave anything behind.”
“We’re going to Tip and Nano’s crib. Hitman is meeting us there.”
“Why the hell would Craig and Ace do some shit like that?”
“I know,” Tip added. “After all the jobs we’ve done.”
“Two people with sixteen dollars is better than seven,” Nano enlightened them. “We’ve got a little while before Dice comes home. We’re going to straighten this out and get the diamonds back.”
*****
“Mr. Ace, I’m glad you came through on your end. I had my doubts at first. Do you have them?”
“They’re right here.” Ace directed his eyes at the box.
“May I see them to confirm it’s the actual collection?” Ace handed to box over and Mr. Colodon smiled. “Please, have a seat.” Craig and Ace both took chairs at the small table in the corner. “Can I offer you something?” he asked them.
“Nah, we’re just here about the diamonds.”
Mr. Colodon looked at the bodyguard, who was smiling. “Train, would you get me my case?” The bodyguard walked to the closet where three suitcases sat. Ace and Craig determined that they must contain the millions of dollars they would get for the diamonds. However, the bodyguard had reached up and brought out a small box similar to the one the diamonds were in. Train then gave that to Mr. Colodon. Impatiently, Mr. Colodon opened the box and brought out a small magnifying glass used to examine diamonds. Mr. Colodon then opened the velvet box Ace had handed him, and chose one of the diamonds to examine.
“Yes, these are lovely,” he said in reverence. Mr. Colodon replace the diamond and chose another one. He smiled, “Beautiful. It’s true what they say about the Sanco collection.” He then replaced that diamond before removing another from the box. ”Nice… very nice Mr. Ace.”
Ace nudged Craig. “I told you,” he whispered.
“Train, would you be so kind as to pay these gentleman.” Train walked back to the closet and opened one of the suitcases. When he came up, he was holding a P95 Ruger. It was similar to the P89, but had an extended clip holding thirty to rounds. Ace and Craig were caught off guard. They had expected to see money instead of the gun, and they couldn’t react fast enough.
Train pulled on the trigger sending a steady stream of bullets from the gun’s silenced barrel. After the clip ejected itself, Craig and Ace’s bodies were twisted in unnatural ways. The thirty-two rounds had slaughtered them.
“Can we find this Club Delight?” Mr. Colodon asked.
“We can,” Train replied. He was already in the process of disassembling the gun. “Why if I may ask?”
“These diamonds are not real. Somebody out there has the real ones and that’s where we will begin.”

Hitman walked to the window and peeked out when he heard car doors closing. Seconds later, Nano walked inside. “You alright?” he asked Hitman.
“I’m here,” he replied. His clothes were disheveled but he seemed calm.
“What the hell happened?”
Hitman sat back down to explain. “Ace drew down on me.”
“Where’s the money,” Skillz rudely interrupted. He didn’t want to come out empty handed now that the diamonds were gone.
“We good on the money. I already put that up.”
“So what are we going to do?” Tip asked. She took a seat beside Hitman looking defeated. She pulled off the UPS hat and threw it across the room.
“I think we should find their asses, get the diamonds, and murk ‘em,” Skillz yelled. Hitman came to his feet. “That’s something we don’t have to worry about. Somebody already did that.” They all looked at Hitman in shock.
“What,” Tip said.
“What the fuck is going on?” Nano asked.
“Whatever happened, they got what they wanted. Somebody plotted them out like they did us.” Everyone got quiet and Hitman continued. “Y’all know what that means?” They all looked around confused. “It means, somebody is talking in the group. Did any of you talk to anyone about the diamonds?”
“That probably died with them,” Tip said.
“Probably didn’t. If the diamonds are still out there, we better move fast before we lose them for good.”
Chapter 30
“Mrs. Rogers, is there anything you can remember about him?”
“Like I said, he had on a ski mask.

“Other than his skin being black, is there anything else distinctive you can tell me?”
“No detective, he didn’t reveal anything about himself.”
“Did he use any unusual phrases? Did you recognize anything in his vocabulary?”
“All I know is he was a black male from his neck and hands.”
“Any tattoos that you could see?” Detective Powell asked her.
“None.”
Mr. Rogers looked at his wife. The man hadn’t worn a ski mask, but he assumed she was scared that the man might return.
“How about you Mr. Rogers? Any tattoos or marking you can remember?” Mrs. Rogers squeezed his hand unbeknownst to the detective.
“I didn’t see anything significant,” he answered.
