Notoriously Nefarious- The Rise of a Neu Reich Page 21

by Sergio Black

Trevor turned around to leave, when Wham! a big greasy man with a green billed hat, wrapped a large hand around his lips. The greasy abductor opened his mouth, a thick smog scratched its way up his throat and forcibly slugged its way into his nose, ears, then finally his mouth, the sour taste of sulfur scratched his tongue then went down the chasm of his throat. GULP! GULP! GULP! Trevor wanted so badly to snap his mouth shut, but whatever it was that this kidnapper was doing compelled him to keep it open and take it all. Trevor became faint, dizzy, and lightheaded before passing out. The large man known as the Panhandle Ripper caught Trevor as his legs gave way. He carried him a good distance away from his and Lisa Ann’s camp. The Ripper quickly hogtied Trevor’s hands to his ankles. The Ripper smiled and knew this specimen of a man would make a great meal for himself and his other toys. The Ripper pulled a buck knife out of his pocket and cut Trevor’s vest from his body, then crammed it between his belt and blue jeans. The frayed fibers left from the knife’s blade, he pulled apart then walked back to Lisa Ann’s camp. He planted the corduroy material along bushes and growing vegetation so that when Lisa woke up, she would follow the planted material thinking it would lead her to freedom, but little did she know, he’d be there and she would be all his for the taking. Thinking of this sick, torturous thought, his eyes widened with excitement and his willy pressed against the crotch of his tight, worn blue jeans. When he finished setting up his little trap, he took Trevor back to his cabin, then put a sexball in his mouth and tied him to a rotisserie.

Later the next day, when the sun rose and the roosters crowed, Lisa Ann would be right where he wanted her…

  ***

The Mad Doctor laughs loudly and claps his hands. “Now it’s a party!” Trevor’s pupils dilate and grow bloodshot before bulging and bursting from their sockets. The loud deflation of Trevor’s eyes sounds like corks shooting from a champagne bottle... Chunky blood sizzles and spills from his skull as he slumps over and falls to the white carpet.

Sophia’s chest pounds loudly while she stares at her dead husband in outrage. “Trevor! Trevor! No!” Sophia looks at the Mad Doctor with rage-filled, murderous lust. “God, you’re a monster!” Sophia pounces off the couch and pounds the Mad Doctor’s chest. “You fucking killer! Piece of shit! I hate you!” The Mad Doctor grabs Sophia by her arms and shakes her repeatedly.

“You want someone to blame? Blame yourself!” The Mad Doctor gives Sophia one last shake before smacking her to the floor. The loud pop can be heard as it rings throughout the house. Sophia falls to the blood-stained, white rug and holds her dead husband... Lisa Ann muffles a cry and snuffs out the wail that boils in her throat. Lisa Ann’s fear is replaced by a newfound hatred. Lisa Ann stands and runs toward the house with her right arm extended and the whole house shakes.

“You bastard!” The Mad Doctor turns his head, looking out the sliding glass door and smiles. Lisa Ann runs toward him with her arm raised and tears glistening her cheeks.

“Leave that bitch be. The real target is here.” The Mad Doctor steps over Sophia who babbles incoherently. The Mad Doctor stands at the glass door before pulling it open and stepping out into the sunny afternoon. The Mad Doctor cups his left hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun. “Impressive little trick you did there, but you bring this house down, surely your mother won’t survive!”

Lisa Ann stops walking and looks upward to the breezy sky and back at the Mad Doctor. “Let my mother go and I’ll come with you. Give me your word.” The Mad Doctor’s eye swivels about with joy, he smiles sourly through crooked yellow teeth and shrugs his shoulders to feign sincerity.

“Okay, you have my word. Put your hands up slowly and come forward. Any tricks and I swear your mother will be a corpse before she’s belly down.” Lisa Ann nods and puts her arms in the air to motion her surrender. The Mad Doctor holds out his hand and waves his bony fingers, coaxing Lisa Ann forward. “That’s it, nice and slow, little girly.” The Mad Doctor’s cheeks tremble with anticipation as he thinks about how pleased the Order will be. Lisa Ann’s eyes shift past the Mad Doctor and fixate on her mother.

Sophia sits on her knees, holding her dead husband. Lisa Ann fights the urge to sob while her heart breaks in half. Lisa Ann is a few feet from the Mad Doctor, when out of nowhere a massive shadow flies above her head. The Mad Doctor’s eyes go from wild anticipation to skin crawling heebie-jeebies.

Balto soars over Lisa Ann’s shoulder. The Mad Doctor manages to sidestep Balto’s lunging attack but stumbles, before falling to the grass face down. Balto’s destructive entrance through the sliding glass door sounds like a wrecking ball demolishing a building. Balto completely destroys the back of the house as he forces his way through the six-foot frame. Lisa Ann looks at Balto and can’t decide if she feels more relieved or angry that he disobeyed her command.

“Balto, my mother! Save her!” Balto nods his head, acknowledging Lisa Ann’s command. No.2 of the Sicherheitspolizei grabs Sophia by the arm and rips her away from Trevor and pushes her to the floor. No.2 steps forward and stands like a brick wall.

“Get her out of here, guys, secure the doctor.” All 3 Superior Teams look at No.2 and begin to protest. “I said, let me handle this.” No.2 stands between Sophia and the big wolf.

“You’re a big pooch, huh. C’mon, let’s even the odds!” No.2 falls to the floor on all fours, his bones begin writhing and spiking underneath the silver uniform. The hands of No.2 grow to 4 times their original size with nails that are long and hellbent for ruin. No.2’s now horrific frame strains against his silver uniform and towers over Balto with a look of utter horror. “C’mon, poochie,” No.2 says murderously. Balto doesn’t hesitate and leaps forward. No.2 puts out his arm and Balto clamps down like a vice. No.2 thrashes wildly and throws heavy haymakers into Balto’s side. Balto releases No.2 and uses his hind legs to find purchase on his ribs and scales him like a building. Balto bites down on No.2’s muscular clavicle and thrashes ravenously.

“Ahhh! You no good mutt!” No.2 uses his arm as a barrier and buries his forearm under Balto’s neck, forcing Balto to release his punctured, broken clavicle. No.2 curls his knuckles tightly with loud pops and smashes Balto in the face with a crippling hook. Balto releases his locked jaws, unfazed by the attack and flips through the air, crashing through the back of the house. Balto regains his balance mid-flip and releases a gravitational stream that funnels out like a tornado. The sheer repulsion nearly decimates the entire house. The blasts released by Balto strike No.2 full-board and staggers him backwards. No.2 shields his face with his werewolf hands and finds footing on the destroyed floor. Balto lands to the ground and releases a high pitch screech that deafens everyone within earshot. The gravitational pull around No.2 heightens, then one by one, No.2’s bones give way and crack as he is pulled to the ground. No.1 is rendered all but defenseless as his body decompresses like a popped balloon, leaving nothing but bits of broken bloody bones.

Balto shudders rapidly and raises his head, letting out a fierce howl. The next moment, the rest of the Maned Wolves descend from the forest, snapping and barking while they fall into line behind Lisa Ann like soldiers... Lisa Ann looks to the Maned Wolves at her back.

“I got this, guys, they’re mine.” Lisa Ann marches forward with a look that could freeze stone. The Mad Doctor scoots backwards and pleads.

“C’mon, Lisa Ann, I was just playing. I wanted to see what you’re capable of, you understand, right?” Lisa Ann looks at her childhood home that lies in shambles.

“Yes, I understand, Doctor. You’re lucky I’m not a murderer like you.” Lisa Ann holds her hand forward and increases the gravity around the Doctor’s knees. The sound of the Doctor’s kneecaps breaking is like a hunter stepping on twigs. The Mad Doctor screams loudly, spitting drool between his yellow stained teeth.

“You fucking bitch! You will pay for this!” The Mad Doctor leans forward on his butt and swipes at Lisa Ann like a cat. “Oh, you just wait. Something is coming for you. And when it
gets here, not you nor your posse stand a chance.” The Mad Doctor grits his teeth and moans loudly, all but exasperated.

Monster and Sparky lurk outside of Lisa Ann’s house, passing by one another like sentries. A few moments later, the teams exit from the front of the house with Sophia in tow. No.1 of the Sicherheitspolizei stops dead in his tracks and puts his arm out to stop the advancing teams and stares at the opposing Maned Wolves beneath his black mask.

“You guys get the Mad Doctor. He’s top priority. Kill both them bitches if you have to… No.3 you’re in charge. You know what to do.” The Neu Superior Weaponization Team leave and circle around the side of the decimated house, leaving No.1 behind. The teams come upon Lisa Ann standing over the Mad Doctor who lays on his side, groaning.

“Take her alive! Kill that whore mother of hers! I want to watch her bleed.” The Mad Doctor emits a hoarse laugh. Lisa Ann glares down on the Mad Doctor and steps on his broken kneecap. The Mad Doctor screams and squirms. The Neu Superior Weaponization Team rushes Lisa Ann with No.3 leading the coup de main. No.3 leaps high and forward, performing a somersault before throwing several Ninja Stars that whistle through the air with deadly precision. Lisa Ann holds up her hands and creates a gravity shield that forces the Ninja Stars to explode prematurely.

“Lisa Ann? Lisa Ann? Can you hear me?” Lisa Ann looks around, confused. “You cannot see me, Lisa Ann. I am in your head. My name is Winsor Magnus. The team you’re fighting is adept in hand to hand combat. I will be your eyes and ears, Lisa Ann, just do as I say.” Lisa Ann looks baffled. ‘How do I know I can trust you?’ Lisa Ann says silently. Winsor laughs. “Lisa Ann, those wolves were sent there to save you. You have no time to learn what you need to, Lisa Ann. You share powers with the wolves so long as they are around you. You’re able to wield whatever ability you choose; just think of the wolf whose vehemence you choose to command.”

Lisa Ann stands still with raised arms and questions her sanity. Share power? “Yes, Lisa Ann, in this case, think of Monster. His enhanced combat skills and physiology will serve you well.” Lisa Ann closes her eyes and thinks of Monster. Lisa Ann feels her entire physiology change and opens her eyes and sees the world through new eyes. Everything seems to move slowly. The entire team circle Lisa Ann and attempt to jump her. Lisa Ann engages in hand to hand combat with 13 Neu Superior Weaponization Team members and dodges various attacks, while counter attacking with limber force. No.3 moves swiftly and attempts to kick Lisa Ann in the head. Lisa Ann smiles while the sequence of proper counter techniques fly through her brain and she catches No.3’s foot with ease. Lisa Ann smirks and wrenches No.3’s foot with a loud pop that hangs in the air and then twirls No.3 around in a circle and bowling balls all 12 members with brutal force that sends them spiraling in several directions. Lisa Ann looks at the fallen members and is disgusted by the white and silver uniforms.

Lisa Ann turns to find Monster, Balto, Winter, Graye, Fang, Sparky and Crimson. The Maned Wolves look gleeful as they push the remaining members into a tight circle. Balto latches onto No.3’s arm and tears it from his body and the rest of the pack fall into action. The pleas and cries waft through the air, and at this point, Lisa Ann has no sympathy. She turns away and focuses her inquiry on her mother who sits on the ground with her knees tucked close to her chin like a small child.

“Mother, are you okay?” Lisa Ann holds her hand out to her mother and when she looks up to Lisa Ann, nothing is left in Sophia’s eye but pure hatred.

“You were one of them! This whole time!” Sophia bops Lisa Ann’s hand aside. “You-Your father is dead because of you!” The Mad Doctor lays still on his side and snickers.

“Oh, Lisa Ann, even your parents hate you.” Lisa Ann looks at her mother with pleading eyes.

“Mom, I didn’t know… I just found out not too long ago.” Sophia spits blood at her feet.

“Look at what you are. No one could ever love the thing you’ve become.” Lisa Ann looks down on her mother and finds the courage to speak.

“Mom, I love you. Even if you hate me. I hope you will forgive me one day.” Sophia bursts into tears.

“I hate you! God, I hate you! I regret the day we adopted you!” Lisa Ann looks at her mother and is lost for words. Adopted? Lisa Ann ponders on the words as they echo through her ears like cancer. Lisa Ann sniffles back the sobs while tears lather behind her eyes. Lisa Ann looks back at the Maned Wolves who are covered in bits of blood and uniform.

“C’mon, guys, grab the Doctor. We are done here.” Balto trots forward and grabs the Mad Doctor by his peacock coat and lifts him like a cub. Lisa Ann walks past her mother who jumps as Lisa Ann and her wolf pack walk around to the front of her shambled house. Lisa Ann comes upon Sparky and Monster who are making quick work of No.3. No.3 has a unique ability to adapt to whatever situation he is forced to adhere to. Lisa Ann smiles and wipes the tears from her eyes.

“Get him…” Balto stands next to Lisa Ann while the rest of the pack descends forward and attacks with unrelenting ferocity and No.3 can’t adapt fast enough to the oncoming assaults. The wolves move like Ninjas and pick apart No.3, piece by piece, until he drops to both knees.

“You think this is the end? There are Superiors far more deadly than I. You don’t stand a chance against what’s coming. The Swordsmen of the We- regards-” The wolves growl and viciously rip into No.3, tearing him limb from limb, leaving nothing discernible but a bloody mess of silver tatters. Lisa Ann closes her eyes.

“Hello, this is Lisa Ann. I am speaking to Winsor, right? Are you there?” Lisa Ann waits a few seconds, staring at the surrounding houses while neighbors and onlookers' peek through closed blinds and sirens wail in the distance.

“Yes, Lisa Ann, I am here. What do you need, my dear?” Lisa Ann looks to the Mad Doctor who has passed out from the pain, and nods. “Good, follow the wolves, they will bring you to me.”

  CHAPTER SIXTEEN

  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Nefarious stands directly across from Winsor, staring hard. “Old man. It’s time for you to talk.” Winsor stares at Nefarious and smiles with glee.

“I keep to my word. All in due time. But first, we have to fix the forest. You must learn to honor the pith of mother earth, for once her life is taken you cannot take it back.” Nefarious looks around at the obliterated forest and starts to realize how rapidly the brief skirmish had changed everything so much.

“How do you suppose we do that?” Winsor snorts and points his skinny finger at Nefarious.

“With a unison effort between your eyes, and that God-breath.” Winsor gimps toward Nefarious while his raggedy stained toga flaps in the wind. “I am going to tell you a secret, boy. After the fall of HIM, people from all over the lands gathered in Macedonia in search of ascendance. Nation after nation at one time worshipped that sixteen-pointed symbol with the hopes that whoever bore the strongest faith would be sanctified with God's gifts. That eye of yours can create Empires or topple them, can show the masses their deaths, read, copy, learn, decipher and dissect just about any unforeseen talents, slow down time, rewrite precious moments of reality, teleport through the Six-Eyed Raven, spawn illusions, summon ungodly beings of your own creation, exploit the earth’s nature, manipulate the will of the Gods, and kill with a single glance. There are so many untold characteristics that come with having Vergina. With constraints and drawbacks of course, but those can be overcome with much passing time. The eye will only allow you to wield what is within your own capacity. In the end, all of this is squandered if you cannot curb your feelings. Anger, rage, hate, retribution. They are all sharpened emotions but they blind you, and limit you, to what you can do. Letting go of what you are right now is the only way to master your true aptitude.

“They say the vibrance of a thousand stars swims within those eyes. Legends say that when one masters Vergina, you have a form of immortality. You can see the second souls within Superiors that separate us from humans. Mastering her will give you vast understandings of all working
contraptions within this universe, if you would just stop being so stubborn, you would see that. But be warned, those attack abilities will be nullified if you’re forced to fight the Immortals, HIM or the Saviors. They are immune to its capabilities for various reasons that I cannot opine through logic; in one way or another, you’re all connected and the Instruments recognize this. All of that being said, you’re cocky, naive and somewhat retarded. You think just because you wield Vergina, you can topple the Order by yourself. Your arrogance will be our downfall if you don’t change.”

Nefarious stares at Winsor with a little more condemnation. “Show me, old man. Show me that you’re not all talk. Talk is cheap.” Winsor whistles loudly and the massive wolves find their place behind Nefarious. Winsor walks around Nefarious and stands behind him.

“I want you to imagine this battle never took place. Imagine the woods is exactly the way it was before our skirmish. Feel the atoms in the air, feel the energy of everything around you and let it soak into your skin like a wet rag.”
