I must say, it was a lot of fun thinking about homemade weapons. I'm afraid I probably ended up on a few government lists due to some of my research. There are even some weapons that didn't make it into the book particularly because I couldn't muster the courage to research them. I figured I would have been in deep shit if I did. Anyway, I hope this book taught you how to survive a home invasion. If you don't own a gun, burn their faces off with a clothing iron. (I'm kidding. Don't listen to me. I don't want to get in trouble for this.)

As another side-note, this book is not meant to be political. It's a fairly straightforward horror/revenge thriller where the “bad guys” happen to be neo-Nazis. I put “bad guys” in quotes because that's one of the themes of the story. Ryan and Alexa commit violent crimes in order to get revenge. They were wronged by Caden, but does that make their actions right? That's something I wanted to tackle with this book. Here are some questions for you: did you think the revenge was justified? Or did it go too far? Was it worth it? Think about Vincent's death when you think about those questions. It's interesting, isn't it?

Anyway, if you enjoyed this book, please leave a review on Amazon.com. Your review helps me improve on my writing and it helps me gain exposure on Amazon. More visibility leads to more readers, and more readers leads to more books. So, if you like my books, your review will help me release more in the future. And it only takes a few minutes, too. Did you like this dark and disturbing story? Would you like to read more serious horror-thriller books like this? Or do you prefer my slashers, like Butcher Road? Would you like to read another book like this (a home invasion story) in the future? Answering questions like these will allow me to better understand you, the reader. Your words have the power to influence my writing—please use them wisely.

If you'd like to show more support, share this book with your friends and family on social media. Tweet it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, read it to your friends over Skype, buy a copy for a friend... Get the word out. Word-of-mouth is a great way to support independent authors—and it's mostly free.

In case you're wondering about my financial situation: I'm still not rich. Can you believe that? I don't own a yacht, I don't have a fancy car, I can't afford to take a vacation... That's crazy, isn't it? I can afford to eat, drink, and live, though, and I'm grateful for that. So, thank you. That's from the bottom of my heart, too. Without your readership, I wouldn't be able to write. I don't need a yacht anyway. I can't swim and I'm scared of the ocean... That might be a good location for a horror novel, huh?

Finally, if you're a horror fan, feel free to visit my Amazon's Author page. I've published over a dozen horror novels as well as some science-fiction/fantasy books. If you want to read a whodunit-slasher, check out The Social Media Murders. If you're looking for a brutal slasher inspired by Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes, check out my upcoming book, Cannibal Creek—it should be out in August. Keep your eyes peeled for my upcoming books since I release a new book every month. Feel free to check out my older novels in the meantime. I really appreciate it! Once again, thank you for reading. Your readership keeps me going through the darkest times!

Until our next venture into the dark and disturbing,
