“Mom and dad, please stop crying. You’re going to make me start crying. And I’ll mess up my make-up.” Monica pats the moisture under her eyes.
“They are right Monica. You look so exquisite.” Jake looks so handsome in his tux.
Jake and Monica pose while Lauren aims the camera at them. When they get outside, a limo is waiting. The limo driver opens the door and Jake escorts her inside. They head to the Hilton hotel. Once they get there, Jake holds out his arm and Monica loops her arm through. Kelly spots them and runs to hug her friend.
“Oh my god. You look so gorgeous. You wear that dress well.”
“Thanks girl. You look gorgeous too.” The ladies spin around showing off their dress.
Josh and Jake get their dates drinks; take pictures from the photographer, and dances on the dance floor.
“What are you guys doing after here?” Kelly asks Monica.
“I don’t know. Maybe just head home. What are you guys doing?”
“I don’t know either. But I know one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“You don’t have to worry about losing your virginity after prom. He already tasted that cookie.” Kelly laughs joking with Monica.
“You are something else. But hey, let me let you in on a little secret. You’re cookie’s been tainted way before mine has.”
They both laugh nonstop.
“What’s so funny?” Josh looks at Kelly wondering why she and Monica haven’t stopped laughing.
“It’s a girl thing.”
“Well then I don’t want to know.” Josh utters while checking out the other girls at the dance.
Before midnight, Jake can tell Monica is ready to go. The women say their goodbyes, promising to catch up soon. While Jake and Monica sits in the limo, Monica notices the limo driver isn’t headed back to Baytown.
Monica looks around as she tries to figure out where she’s at. “Are we not going home?”
“No. I figured we stay in Houston tonight. I reserved a hotel for us.”
When they get to the other hotel, the manager approaches them. “Here’s your room key sir. You guys will be in the Presidential Suite, and everything is ready when you are.”
Jake tucks the room key inside his jacket pocket and locks his fingers with Monica’s He starts walking away from the manager and she follows. Monica looks at Jake lost. What did the manager mean by everything is ready. What’s ready? They stop in a hallway and Jake pauses. Taking a deep breath, he leads her to the conference room. There are two concierges guarding the door. As they approached, the men open the conference door for them. Monica was hesitant to enter, not knowing what’s at the other end. Though she knows Jake means no harm, she doesn’t know what’s going on. The room goes silent as they enter together hand in hand. She sees her parents, his parents, Kelly, Josh, and all their family and friends sitting in assigned seats.
She looks at Jake confused. “Baby what’s going on?”
Jake takes a little box out of his other pocket. Kneeling down on one knee, he grabs Monica’s left hand and opens the box. Inside, a one carat white diamond ring catches Monica’s eye.
“Monica Williams, I love you with my whole life. And I can’t see myself with anybody else. You’ve already made me a better person. But I want to know if you can make me a better man by marrying me and being my wife?”
She gestures him to stand up, so he does. Cupping his face in her hands, she accepts his proposal. She starts crying as he slips the ring on her finger. They seal the proposal with a passionate kiss. Everyone cheers loud, happy they witnessed a beautiful memorable day. They’re family and friends gather hugging, kissing, and congratulating them. Monica wasn’t too fond to see Erin and Aaron there, but knows she will have to deal with them because they’re part of Jake. She doesn’t want this beautiful day to be ruined with their miserable selves. And sure enough Erin does what she does best, and makes Monica boil some more.
“I meet your cousin Reese the other day. She’s such a sweetheart. I really like her.” Erin smiles so evil.
“Oh how did you meet her?”
“Her dad plays golf with Aaron all the time. And they invited us over for dinner. She is just a delight to talk to.”
Monica wonders if this lady ever has a pause button. Does she ever get tired of being a winch? She’s the only person that ever liked Reese. Nobody in their right minds would ever say that. People usually say the opposite about Reese. And it finally clicked. Erin and Reese are so much alike. That’s why Erin likes her. That’s why they get along. They’re both miserable and want other people around them to be miserable along with them. Monica doesn’t respond to Erin’s stupidest opinion. She isn’t going to waste her time and her energy with this crazy lady. Monica walks away and addresses the positive people in her life. The ones who are there because they’re happy for Jake and Monica.
John starts to cry as he hugs his daughter. “Sweetheart, I want you to be happy, and I know he will be the one to do that for you. I love you so much.”
Monica tears up. “I love you too daddy.”
Her mother creeps up behind, hugging her. “Dear you will make a beautiful wife and mother.” Turning her daughter around, Lauren studies her daughter’s beautiful glow.
“Thank you mom.”
“Now let me see that ring again.”
“Again? What do you mean again?”
“Dear he asked if your dad and I can help him pick it out. He wanted to make sure it was the perfect ring for you. Do you know he asked your dad’s permission first? He’s so romantic dear. He’s such a perfect gentleman.”
Everyone is a blur. Looking for the love of her life, she spots him. She walks up, floating on cloud nine. Monica interrupts the conversation he was having his friends and kisses him devotedly. Moments like this makes Monica fall deeper in love with him. He knows just what to do to put a smile on her face. What did she do to be so blessed?
The band starts to play and the singer sings “Our love is Unconditional.” As they dance, Monica realizes how they’re love is really unconditional. He focuses on her eyes and she stares at him so in love. Everything is so magical. They may be young, but they know this is where they want to be forever. With a new marriage and a new baby, their life is fixing to be complete.
It’s already three in the morning and people start leaving. Today has been a long wonderful day. Monica gets tired, so Jake wraps his arm over her shoulders and takes her to their Presidential Suite.
The lights are off. Fire flickers everywhere. Cinnamon scented candles fill the room. They’re not even married yet, but Jake carries her over the threshold. Their bed is covered with rose petals. She’s very thankful for everything Jake has done for her. He stayed when he found out she was pregnant, and now he asks her to be his wife. After he carries her to bed, she shows him exactly how grateful she is to have him in her life. Shoving him, she slowly removes his tux. He scoots up and sets his head on the plush feathered pillow. On her knees, she undresses and lets the dress fall freely. She slowly crawls on top of him, licking her lips. She grabs his tie besides him, and wraps his hands to the bed so he can’t move. With her legs sprawled over him, she licks his neck, tasting his delicious body. Sucking, blowing, and licking nurturing her desire for him. She lowers his boxers enough to see his package. She kisses him tenderly, and tickles him delicately with her fingers. She pulls his boxers down, licks her lips at the sight, and devours him. She sucks softly, slowly, then fast and rough, then softly and slowly again. Rotating the motion. He pays her with his delectable pre-come. She swallows, and she gets more turned on, He twitches at her talent to please him. She doesn’t allow him to finish, but instead sits on his face. He sticks his tongue deep inside her, and she rocks back and forth. Riding his face. She unties his hands, and in a split second, he captures her legs with both hands. He pushes on her butt deeper into his face. Slightly lifting her, and flickers his tongue on her clit. When she releases, he presses her back hard against his f
ace, tasting her wonderful climax. He flips her over on back, and he thrusts inside her hard enough to make her come again, but soft so not to hurt her. Feeling her throb makes him explode.
The next morning, Jake slowly wakes Monica kissing her neck tenderly. He calls room service and orders everything on the menu. He wants Monica to have a variety of things to choose from.

Married life and having a kid has taken a toll on her. With her husband working so many hours of the day, she stays home taking care of their baby. But she’s so unhappy. In the mornings, her husband leaves without kissing her goodbye.
Her day would start with mixing coffee with vodka. This will help her drown out her baby’s crying. She puts her baby on the playpen. Her baby stays there drinking the bottle of formula while she watches soaps. Refilling her cup with coffee and vodka, she calls her husband to check up on him. His secretary says he has a meeting. But she knows better. She isn’t stupid. Her baby cries. Ignoring her baby, she pours another cup of her concoction. Her baby continues to cry. She turns up the volume on the television hoping she doesn’t have to hear her crying.
Her husband finally calls, saying he’s working late. At first, she believed her husband when he said he was working late, until he started coming home smelling like cheap perfume. Perfume she knew she will never wear. She doesn’t own anything so cheap. Stumbling to the bar, she grabs the half emptied bottle of vodka, and settles on the couch and starts drinking it straight. Why won’t her baby stop crying? The cries are echoing in her ear. She finally decides to changer her baby’s diaper. She makes another bottle of formula. Her baby stops crying and falls asleep. After chugging down the rest of the vodka, so doses off.
At first her husband being unfaithful bothered her, but she needed to stay, so she dealt with it. Financial stability is what she needed. She revolved her life around money and the life-style it came with. Leaving him meant leaving all the perks of being wealthy.
It’s late in the evening, and she hears a door slam.
“Dammit. Do you not hear the baby crying? Do you do anything else besides drink till you past the fuck out?”
Half asleep and fully drunk, she yells. “Do you do anything else besides fuck those whores? Maybe you should come home right after work and make love to you wife. Then maybe she’ll do something else besides get drunk every day?”
“You’re useless do you know that?”
“You remind me every day.” She tries to get off the couch, but can’t. Falling on the floor, her frustration escalates. “Tell that damn baby of yours to shut the fuck up. I have a fucking headache.”
He lifts their baby out of the playpen, rocking gentle. “Maybe if you quit drinking so fucking much, you won’t get headaches. And just maybe when you hear your baby crying, you will act like a fucking mother, instead of a sorry bitch.”
“Fuck you.”
Ignoring her, he carries their baby into the kitchen. He pops bottle in the microwave, and heads back in the baby’s room to change the soiled diaper. Their baby has a rash. Applying cream, he shakes his head in disbelief. How could his wife treat their baby like this?
When they first got married, they were happy, so he thought. He should have read all the signs before committing to this woman. The signs of her only accepting to marry him if he bought her a ring bigger than three carats. She had to have an expensive lavish wedding. Without these two things, she refused to marry him. Whenever he buys her roses, she always finds reasons on why he shouldn’t have bought them. Or when he tries pleasuring her, she isn’t into it, and finds way more important things she needed to do with her life. So why did he marry her? Why did he commit to something he knew was not good from the start? Why did he buy a humongous house to be miserable in? Was it because she got pregnant, and he felt sorry for her?
He leaves for work, and she starts to drink. She doesn’t even get out of night clothes. She glances at her baby. A mistake she often tells herself. If she didn’t get pregnant, her life would still be back to its normal self. Her husband would spend more time with her. She wouldn’t have to hear a baby crying every single second of the day.
After giving their baby a bath, he feeds the baby. Tucking their baby in the crib, he falls asleep on the bed while his wife is passed out drunk on the living room couch. When morning came, he prepared everything their baby needed and went to work.
She drinks her sorrows away, and neglects their baby, figuring if she ignored nurturing their baby, she’s paying him back for all his scandalous ways. She was getting back at him through their baby. He wants to leave, but he feels obligated to stay and toughs it out. He decided if he hires an old live-in nanny, their kid will be taken care of, so that’s what he does. But she complains about that too. She had the nerves to ask if he thought she wasn’t a good enough mother to take care of their baby. Does she not know the answer to her own question? How blind is she?
He had no choice but to work to support his family. Yes he does have a choice to come home after work, but he was tired of her constant nagging. Being with other woman was his escape goat. He didn’t have to hear his wife bitch about everything and anything. When he does finally come home, he spends those hours with their baby. He feels spending those hours with his baby while he’s home, justifies him staying out late screwing different women.
Years go by, and their baby started Kindergarten. Thanks to the nanny, their child was always well dressed. You can tell the parents have money. The nanny helps with all the school work and cheers at the soccer games, like what a loving mother should do. The mother still guards tight to that vodka bottle, so tight she’s even accused the nanny of drinking it. If she holds onto that bottle, no one for sure will steal it.
Being confused, the child started calling the nanny “mom”. The real mother hears this, and fires the nanny right on the spot. She was angry and believed the nanny was teaching the child to call her mommy. Kids know what’s actually going on. They might seem clueless, but they know.
As the child got older, the mother got drunker, and the father became more distant. The child started doing everything, and at times, puts the mother to bed and cooks dinner for the father.
When their child was in mid-teens, said something that she thought would be very useful. “There is no one worth your time and effort. They will all break your heart one way or another. Do not give your heart way, because I promise you, it will be broken.”
“Yes mom.”
The child took that to heart. When he started dating in his mid-teens, he became the biggest player in town. Parental influence is what defines us. What are parents do will turn us to the people we will be in the future. If we see our parents having so much hate and gets drunk every day, we can become like them when we get older, or we can change our course in life. Following in our parents’ footsteps whether it is good or bad, exemplifies the kind of people we will be in the future.
His father continued to stay away from home, and his mother brought different men home. When his parents finally realized what they were doing to their kid, it was already too late. Therapy did not help their son. He was already destroyed. They taught their son it’s ok to hate and disrespect woman, and that’s what he did. He treats the girls in school like they are dirt. He’s gorgeous, and uses that for his advantage. And the girls didn’t mind. He was the guy every girl wanted in school. Having him meant they were good enough. He had this mentality that no one is good enough for him, so why not just be a flirt. Everything changed when he bumped into the girl of his dreams. He bumped into his future wife. She brought the good person out of him. The good part that was hiding inside. His mother was wrong. Someone special is worth his time and effort. Monica saved Jake. And in return, he loves her unconditionally.

Four weeks seems like forever for Monica. She has gained twenty-eight pounds, and if you are looking at her from the back, you wouldn’t have known she was pregnant. She’s straight belly. Normally she sleeps on her belly, and now tha
t’s she’s huge, she’s has sleepless nights being uncomfortable tossing and turning, trying to find that right position. Jake only has two weeks of school left, and with school finals, Lauren has been catering to Monica hand and foot. She is such a wonderful mother. Monica wishes she can live up to her mom’s greatness.
“Dear what did you want me to cook for breakfast?”
“Let’s go out and eat, so you can take a breather from always having to take care of me.”
“Dear I don’t mind. I’m your mother. That’s my job.”
“Yeah I know you’re my mom, but I don’t think you’re obligated to do it this long and this much.”
“Dear I’m going to do as long as I need to.”
Monica tries to rock back and forth to get off the couch. As she’s rocking back and forth, she laughs when she hears herself passing gas.
“Ops, that never happened before.” Monica dying in tears.
“Oh dear, you smell so foul. Why laugh about it?” Lauren not pleased that Monica laughs about silly things.
“I wasn’t expecting it. It caught me by surprise.” Monica still giggling like a little child.
Though Lauren isn’t too happy that Monica laughs about farts, she reminisces on the moment her daughter giggled when she heard her own fart for the first time. Monica giggles the exact same way. Monica isn’t a little girl anymore. Now she’s having her own little girl. She will experience all the “first times”. Her first time holding her bottle, first time crawling, walking, first tooth, and first words.
“Dear please hurry up and get ready.”
“Mom it’s not like I have much choices to pick from. I can only fit into stretchy pants, loose shirts, and my feet are so fat and swollen, I can only wear flip flops.”
“Then it should take you this long to get ready. I’m starving.”
