She turns to me and smiles slightly. Sighing she runs her fingers up and down my arm. “I don't want to just get married right now just because we are having a baby, Trent. I still want to keep our relationship going without that added pressure that we need that to confirm our love. Yes, someday I do want to marry you, but right now and just because of our situation? No. No, I can't do that,” she says, shaking her head.

Pulling her hand to my mouth, I kiss it tenderly. “I know, sweet angel, I know. We don't have to take that step right now. This is our life and no one else’s. Yes, they want what's best for us, always. But that doesn't mean they are right.”

Smiling sweetly at me, she leans up and kisses my cheek. “We can move in together, and when we are ready for that next step, we will take it. I'm not going to be waddling down an aisle to be Mrs. Trent Zito. I will do it when I can be the gorgeous bride I always envisioned I would be.”

“Angel, you will always be beautiful no matter what. But I want you to have the special day you always envisioned,” I tell her seriously.

Tears well in her eyes. “I love you so much babe, I really do.”

She's what will make people see the up and coming serious attorney. The pretty little proper wife.

Pulling up to The Olive Garden, I get out and walk around the car to let Andrea out. Pulling her to me quickly, I wrap my hands in her hair and kiss her tenderly.

Moaning, she grips my shirt tightly before pulling back to look in my eyes.

“What was that for, handsome?” she asks.

“Just wanting you to know that no matter what happens in there,” I say pointing to the restaurant, “it's just you and me, always and forever baby. And when we leave here, I'm making up for last night.”

Tugging my hand toward the door smiling, she is flushed and I can see she has a little more confidence than she had moments ago.

SPOTTING TRENT’S PARENTS as we walk in, my hands suddenly feel clammy. Smiling brightly, I walk with my hand in Trent's to join them.

“Andrea, darling, it's so great to see you,” his mother says, standing up to hug me. Squeezing her back tightly, I say, “Thank you, Mrs. Zito, it's great seeing you.”

“Please, call me Marjorie, sweetheart. We don't need to be so formal,” she says chuckling.

Nodding, I smile and laugh with her.

Marjorie Zito is the spitting image of beauty, she is the light to Mr. Zito’s more olive complexion. Her light brown hair and crystal blue eyes are always so full of life. The lines next to her eyes show the years of laughter she has had in her life and what happiness is. Being about my height of 5’5, with her curvy stature, I can only compare her to the likes of Marilyn Monroe. His mom is a stunner even in her 50s. I can only hope to look as amazing as she when I’m older.

Mr. Zito stands and kisses me sweetly on the cheek. “Hello dear, it is quite nice to be spending more time with you. I see you've been able to keep my boy here in line,” he says, patting Trent on the back.

Smiling and kissing his cheek back, I wink at Trent. “Oh, Mr. Zito. He is truly not that hard to keep in line, you've done a great job with him.” I smile sweetly.

Marjorie kisses Trent's cheek and pinches it. “I do have a pretty good boy here. One day he will be a spectacular lawyer and the successful man l believe he is,” she says adoringly.

“Andrea, please call me Don. Mr. Zito is my father, and while I love him dearly, I am not about to be formal with you dear,” he says, smiling with the sparkle of humor in his eyes. “You better hold onto this one, my boy, she's a keeper.”

“I think I may just do that, Dad.” Trent winks at me and smiles brightly.

Sitting down and patting the seat next to her for me to join her, Trent’s mother places her napkin into her lap so elegantly and takes a sip of her wine. “I hope you don't mind, we went ahead and got some wine. Shall I pour each of you some?” she asks, smiling as she holds the bottle of wine over my glass.

Looking up to Trent with a look of panic, I see him do the same. “Mom, we are going to wait for our meal, thank you. Andrea has not eaten much today and needs some food in her before we get the wine started.”

Sighing quietly, I mouth, “I love you” to him.

He smiles and puts his hand to his heart.

“Well that is just fine, we wouldn't want our girl here to be sleepy too early now would we,” Marjorie says, laughing and putting her arm around me.

I swear it's like they know something and are testing us. Wine, sleepy...really? They couldn't possibly know anything yet, no way.

Just then the waitress comes over with her little notepad. “Hello, I'm Brittany, and I will be your waitress this evening. I know we started with a bottle of wine over here already, but is there anything else I can start you with?” she asks, looking around our table.

I tip my fingers up to signal her. “I'll just have some water to start with, please.”

Nodding, she smiles, looking to see if anyone else wants anything.

Trent speaks up. “Could we possibly get a pitcher of water for the table, please?” he asks.

“Oh yes, of course you can, sir. I’ll give you a few more minutes to look over the menu and will be right back with your pitcher of water and some fresh breadsticks and salad,” Brittany says, putting her notepad back into her apron and stepping away.

“So, Mom and Dad,” Trent starts as he clears his throat. “Andrea and I have something to share with you. We hope you are as happy as we are, although we understand if you are shocked at first.” He sits up straight and looks back and forth between them.

I place my hands in my lap and smile at the looks on their faces. I'm not sure what to say they are- apprehension, gas, nervousness. Any one of those things could give that face really.

“Please, son, tell us, we’re waiting on pins and needles here,” Marjorie says quietly while reaching for his hand.

“Andrea and I did not in any way plan what we are about to tell you, but we are perfectly happy with this blessing,” he says, now smiling at me and not making eye contact with his parents.

Nodding my head, I give him the go ahead to let the rest out of the bag.

“Mom, Dad, we are going to have a baby,” he blurts out quickly.

Marjorie squeals with delight and immediately reaches over to me and hugs me.

Finally releasing the breath I was holding, I return her hug while looking over to Don.

“Dad? Your reaction is sort of scaring me,” Trent says, grabbing onto his dad’s arm.

“Donald Giovanni,” Marjorie scolds her husband.

Blinking, he finally grins ear to ear. “Well, yes, you could say I am shocked to hear this. But I am not as much of a prude, so to speak, as you would like to believe, son. We know and understand times are different now than they used to be. Do not worry, this new grandbaby will be wrapped around our fingers just like the cousins before him or her,” he says, clapping Trent on the shoulder. “Congratulations to the both of you,” Don cheers as he raises his glass.

Feeling so relieved and elated by this turn of events I was definitely not expecting, I take a deep breath and the sobs wrack me. With the sobs, I turn my smiling face to both Marjorie and Don and mouth, “thank you.”

Marjorie immediately stands and pulls me into her arms, smiling as Trent comes over and takes me into his arms kissing me sweetly. He whispers against my lips, “See baby, I told you this would go well.” Nodding and laughing, I grab my napkin to wipe my eyes and nose.

Brittany chooses then to come back with our breadsticks and salad, as well as our pitcher of water. Setting them down on the table she then asks if we are ready to order.

“Oh, dear, I am so sorry. We have not even looked at our menus yet. Can you please give us a few more minutes and come back?” Marjorie asks.

Nodding, Brittany smiles and walks from our table. Finally sitting down, I grab my menu while still dabbing my eyes.

“So, this is why you aren't having any wine, hmmmm?” Don
asks.

Laughing, I nod as Trent and Marjorie join in the laughter. “I so thought you were on to us,” I tell them. “When you were pouring me a glass and then talking about me being tired early, well, that seems to be my new life these days. Exhausted is an understatement on some days,” I say laughing.

“So, have we gone to the doctor and found out when my new grandbaby will be meeting us?” Marjorie asks, clapping delightedly.

Smiling to Trent, I let him take this one.

“Yes, Mom, we went a few days ago. She is about four weeks along and we should be meeting our baby in late June or early July.”

Don suddenly claps his hands and looks toward the ceiling. “It makes me happy that the two of you will be able to finish this last year of school and graduate before the baby comes. Yes, this new blessing is great news, but I want you to be set in some way a little and on your path to life.”

Marjorie goes to respond. As soon as she opens her mouth, Trent cuts her off.

“Mom, I know what's next. No, we aren't getting married right now. We love each other, yes, but we don't want a baby to be the reason to rush into a marriage. We will one day, absolutely. But for now our plans are to live together by the time the baby comes and let the rest fall where it may at the right time.”

Smiling in adoration at Trent, Marjorie grabs his hand. “I'm so proud of the man you have become, my sweet boy. You have this all figured out in such a short amount of time, when many men your age would take a hike.”

Speaking up, I smile to him. “He is the best. He continues to show me he is in this with me and planning for this new life event. I agree that had it been someone else, I may be in this all by myself. But you see, that's why I have him. God never gives us more than we can handle. This baby is our blessing together and I’m so glad you are as overjoyed as we now are.”

After we finally ordered and ate, we talked more about school and how our jobs were going. Having a small cushion of inheritance from my grandfather helps me to stay afloat while student teaching and taking classes. Never have I been more thankful for that unanswered prayer after losing him. I still miss him every day, and I think part of this new gift was his way of shining down on me with his love from Heaven.

Snuggling up with Trent on the couch, I decide I'm not letting him off so easy today with making love to me. After the Marissa fiasco last night, I need to connect with him. And this newfound libido is kicking in high gear right now. Standing up, I look down to him wiggling my eyebrows.

Thankfully we came back to my house, so I can do this without Brad or Lauren walking in. I slowly start to remove my shirt over my head, followed by unbuttoning my pants.

  Trent sits up smiling widely.

“Baby, let me help you, I want to look at you,” he says.

Slowly sliding my pants over my hips, he kisses my stomach lovingly. “You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, sweetheart,” he murmurs against my stomach while kissing his way up.

“Trent, please make love to me, I need you so bad right now. Hold me and don't let go, please,” I beg him as he pulls the cup of my bra down to latch on to my nipple.

Standing, he pulls me up until I wrap my legs around his waist. “That sweetheart, I most definitely can do,” he says, kissing me and walking toward my room.

Turning off the light, he tosses me on the bed and makes love to me nice and slow.

WAKING UP WITH Andrea is great, more than I thought to want actually. She keeps the good side of me in check. I just can't help the wild side. We have lots to do today, so while laying here all day on a Saturday sounds great, if we don't get started soon we won't. Checking my phone seeing it's 8:35, I go about waking the princess.

Amy and the girls will be expecting us soon and we have shopping to do for a costume for Uncle Henry’s Halloween party next weekend. I don't have a clue what we should wear for that. But this is our first Halloween together, so we need to make it fun.

At least Andrea isn't showing yet, so she can still get away with a sexy costume...and now that brings me back to wanting to see her all to myself very private and intimately. The girl has a body for sure, let's see how far she'll let me push the sexy. All my girlfriends have always dressed the sexiest at the party and Andrea won't be an exception.

Yep...time to get moving. Adjusting myself in my boxer briefs, I get up and head to the shower.

The shower curtain is pulled open and closed, warm lips caress my back. Closing my eyes, I just concentrate on the feel of her lips on my back and shoulders. Turning around, I look at her gorgeous face and see the adoration in her eyes. No one has ever looked at me this way before, like I hung the moon just for her. It both settles and unsettles me at the same time. I'm pulled to her, always. But there's the other side of me that still has so many wild oats to sow.

Kissing her softly, I pull her under the water with me to steam the bathroom a little more. Turning around, I push her up against the wall and push myself inside her. She gasps at the invasion, but soon moves in time to my hammering pace. I may just make this girl a little more wild with me.

We finally get out of the house after hours of lazing around and me pushing her up against multiple surfaces of her place. When we make it over to my car, I pull the passenger door open for her. I let her in and shut the door after she is sitting and getting her seat belt on. On our way to Amy’s to see the munchkins, we stop off at Dunkin Donuts for some donut holes to take over. Positive that Sarina and Clara have been up for hours driving my sister crazy, I think this little snack makes me the greatest uncle ever. My sister may kill me, but meh, ask me if I care a bit.

Pulling into my sister’s driveway, I grab Andrea’s hand and kiss it. “Think you want to spread our good news a little more today, baby? It's only a matter of time before my mom bursts at the seams and tells her before you get to.”

A smile lights her beautiful face as she nods and grabs my face placing a light kiss to my lips.

“Let's go shake up the house,” she says with a giggle.

I'm just so glad she seems to be feeling more herself the last couple of days.

Amy jumps up and down hugging Andrea and yelling she is going to be an Auntie. She turns to wink at me as she carries on the charade of “not knowing”. As I thought, Clara and Sarina were wide awake and ready go. When they got to snack on what the amazing Uncle Trent brought for them, the looks on their faces were priceless. But the look on my sister’s face...well yeah, still pretty priceless. She may still kill me.

Hey, don't look at me like I'm a troublemaker, this is some payback for the years of torture I have received from her. No doubt she will be returning the favor once our kid comes along.

The best is seeing how my girl is with my nieces. She always has a way with them and they just love her. They eat up the attention they get from Andrea, and she in turn loves playing with and spending time with them. That's important too, to have the woman I love able to weave herself into my family. Never before have I seen my nieces take to someone they haven't known their whole life. Usually the twin tag team is real with these two. But not when they're with Andrea, they just want to play and do anything to keep her with them.

“Hey Amy,” Andrea says smiling, “what would you say to taking some time with the hubby in a few weeks and letting us watch the girls for you?”

There is a look of shock on my sister's face as she gets up to hug Andrea, the tears of the exhausted mama sparkling in her eyes. That says it all. She appreciates this gesture, no one ever watches the girls but my parents. The girls don't make it easy for her and Matt to get out together and just be them.

“That would be so great, Andrea, you have no idea how much that means to me. Of course we can just do a small amount of time. I don't want them to give you a hard time.”

“Hey girls,” I say, interrupting Amy’s thoughts.

“How would you like to come to Andrea’s house in a few weeks fo
r a sleepover?” I ask animatedly.

The girls squeal and jump up and down. “Can we go now?” Clara asks excitedly. “Please Mommy, we will be good I promise.”

“Not today, baby girl, we’ll plan a day in a few weeks. Today Uncle Trent and Andrea have lots to do,” she says, winking at me and mouthing “thank you”.

“Do you and Matt have costumes for Henry's party yet? We are going to go find something today to wear.”

She blows out a breath. “No, we haven't even discussed what to dress as yet for this year. I feel like we have just about done it all at this point,” she says laughing.

“You are welcome to join us today. I could really use a girl's opinion on outfits I try on. You know this guy will just tell me they all look great,” Andrea says, thumbing over her shoulder to me. I swat her butt and wrap my arms around her, nuzzling her neck.

“And I wouldn't be lying,” I say, whispering against her skin.

“You definitely won't hold a candle to anyone there with the glow you have going on,” Amy says laughing.

“Yeah, let’s all just go and pick them out. Let me see what Mom and Dad are doing today so we don't have to take the crazy twins with us. They will beg for everything and I just don't have the energy to fend them off today,” she says tiredly.

WALKING THROUGH HALLOWEEN City and seeing all the different displays is getting a bit overwhelming. It's so fun and exciting though. I have always loved Halloween and Fall; it's my favorite season for sure. Seeing all these sexy outfits with hardly any material is making me dread what we will choose to wear. Yes, I am pregnant, no, I'm not showing yet. But I don't want to dress like a slut just because I still have my figure. Trent wouldn't want that anyway, that's something I really love about him. I think.

“Hey Andrea,” Amy calls over to me.

“We should totally go as a team costume or something. Maybe even hit a thrift store and build our own costumes. I am so tired of feeling like I've worn it all…twice.”
