No Second Chances Page 10

by Beverley Hollowed

Against the wall there was a long oak lamp table and with two large lamps on it, each positioned either end of the table. Everything about this room screamed class and elegance. It was gorgeous.

Ally thought if her own little one bedroom apartment and she felt slightly embarrassed in comparison.

She loved her place and she had been so proud of herself when she had bought at just 22 years old.

She had finally felt so grown up and independent.

She had chosen all the colours herself and done all her own decorating. She loved living there. She had decided to keep everything cream and neutral. It wasn’t cluttered but it was homey. Recently she had bought a cherry red sofa and matching armchair to add a little colour to her living room. But everything else remained in cream and neutrals, except for her bedroom.

Her bedroom was her favourite room. She had chosen deep purple and blush pink on the walls. Her curtains and bedding were a mix of the same dark purples and pinks. Her bed was a large, black leather, as were her two nightstands which she had recovered specially. Above her bed hung a large black and white picture of the New York Skyline. It was her favourite place in the world so her grandparents had bought her the picture as a house warming gift and so she loved the picture.

Everything about her bedroom was girlie and feminine and Ally loved it. But compared to Cole’s stunning home it was nothing special.

“You have a lovely home,” she said as she turned and smiled at Cole, who was watching her with a curious gaze.

“Thank you,” he replied. “I will show you around after dinner if you would like?”

“That would be lovely,” She smiled shyly. She didn’t know why she suddenly felt nervous. Maybe it was being here with him. Seeing him in his own environment and the way he looked. It was like he was completely at ease and in his comfort zone. King of the castle.

He stared at her almost like a predator would stare at its prey. He stepped directly behind Ally and softly brushed her hair to one side from her shoulder and pressed his lips against her the bare skin on her neck. Ally’s heart began to race as she could smell his familiar scent.

“I look forward to it,” he whispered and instantly his words sent a knot of excitement to the pit of Ally stomach. He inhales her scent and sighed deeply with pleasure. “You smell good enough to eat”.

Oh sweet baby Jesus. She prayed silently as he ran the tip of his tongue up her neck until he reached her ear and sucked her lobe into his mouth. Don’t let me fall in love with this man.

He slid his arms around her waist and pressed her against him. She could feel him growing hard against her back and desire ran through her body like a steamroller.

“Shit,” he groaned as he pulled away from her and pulled his phone from his pocket and he snapped it open. Ally turned to look at him. His eyes, filled with raw desire, were locked with hers.

“Hello!” he growled into the phones but his eyes never left hers as he let out a sharp sigh of annoyance. “Hello,” he said once again.

Ally looked at him in confusion as he muttered under his breath and hung up the phone and shoved it back into his pocket.

“What’s wrong?” Ally asked as she watched his whole body tense.

“Nothing that need concern you,” he said with a smile as he leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips as he took her hand. “Come have some dinner. I am sure you must be famished.”

He gave her a smile and led her out of the living room and down a hallway towards the back of the house. It surprised Ally just how big the house actually was. It was considerably bigger than it appeared from the outside. Ally figures it had been extended out towards the back at some point.

At the far end of the hallway they came into another huge room. This one was a beautiful, state of the art kitchen with French door at the far end leading out to a summer room. They found Rosie busy working away in there, just about to serve up their dinner.

“Hope you are hungry,” Cole said as he pulled out a seat at a large round oak table which was surrounded by six high back leather chairs. “Rosie here is an amazing cook.”

Ally took a seat and turned and smiled nervously at the friendly older woman.

“Oh don’t fill the poor girl’s head with such lies,” Rosie replied with a half laugh as she sat a plate down in front of Ally with what looked and smelled like chicken and lemon Risotto, one of Ally favourite dishes.

“Hope you don’t mind eating in here, “Cole said, smiling brightly at Ally. “The dining room is far too big and stuffy. I normally only eat in there when I have dinner parties. In here feels more like home.”

“In here is perfect,” Ally smiled back at Cole.

Cole walked over to a large silver and glass door that had several racks of wine bottles behind it.

“What would you prefer?” he asked turning back to Ally after he opened the door.

“I don’t really know anything about wine other than there is red and white,” Ally replied in a low voice and blushed as she flashed her eyes back to Rosie who smiled warmly at her and Ally suddenly could feel herself relax. Rosie was so like her Nan she couldn’t help but like her.

“But you prefer white, don’t you?” he said as he turned back to the wine cabinet and selected a bottle of white wine before he returned to the table.

To Ally’s surprise, he pulled his plate and cutlery from the where is was opposite side of the table and slid into the chair next to Ally. Ally quickly glimpsed up at Rosie who was also looking at Cole in surprise before a big smile filter across her face.

“Please,” Cole said pointing to the plate in front the Ally indicating she just dig in.

Ally reached for her fork and took her first taste of her dinner and it was delicious and without even realising it, Ally smiled and hummed in pleasure.

“It’s good right?” Cole asked and Ally blushed as she realised he was watching her eat. Ally nodded her response because her mouth was full and she smiled as she could feel her face blush.

Cole told Rosie that he had everything covered. Rosie smiled and said goodnight before she left them alone.

He opened the wine and pour them both them both a glass and passed one to Ally. Ally picked up her wine and took a zip.

“This is really good,” Ally said as she glanced back up at Cole before she took a large swig.

“I should hope so,” Cole said with a grin. “It’s about 200 euros a bottle.”

Ally nearly choked and started to cough as she grabbed the napkin that was next to her plate and quickly wiped her mouth.

“200 euros?” she exclaimed. “200 euros could supply me with wine for an entire month or more.”

Cole just laughed and picked up his glass and took a large gulp.

Ally returned her attention back to her dinner and tried not to focus on the fact that Cole was very clearly loaded and she was way out of her comfort zone. In fact it she was honest she was deep in enemy territory.

They were just finished their coffee when Cole once again sighed and pulled his phone from his pocket.

This time he didn’t answer instead he just looked at the number on the display.

“Son of a bitch!” he growled as he pressed the screen to answer the phone.

“HELLO!” he yelled down the phone making Ally jump with fright. “OK, ASSHOLE! I HAVE YOUR GOD DAMN NUMBER AND I AM GIVING IT TO THE POLICE. AND THEN WHEN THEY ARE DONE WITH YOU I AM GOING FIND YOU AND RIP YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF!”

Without another word he hung up the phone and slammed it on the table before turned back to Ally. He cringed when he saw the look of complete terror on her face.

“Ally, I am so sorry,” he exclaimed as he got up off his chair in one graceful movement and pulled her up into his arms. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”

Ally didn’t reply. She didn’t know what to say. She had just seen a side to him that she hadn’t known existed. But more than that, she just had seen a side to him that was too like her father.

  He
r dad had always been a volatile man. And she had spent a huge part of her life afraid of him. Not that he ever laid a hand on her or her mother but even as a little kid she had been aware he was always close to exploding at someone for even the very slightest of reasons.

“Ally, baby,” he said as he took her face in his hands. “I am so sorry. Please don’t be afraid of me. I swear you are safe with me. Honestly.”

Ally’s eyes met his and she was surprised to see fear looking back at her. And it pulled at her heart. She gave him a reassuring smile and softly brushed her lips against his. And the same familiar spark that is always there exploded between them.

Cole held her tighter to him and kissed her harder. Dipping his tongue into her mouth and caressing her tongue with his, the desire she had felt earlier came back with such a rush it almost knocked her off her feet.

She dropped her hand against his crotch and he was already rock hard.

Suddenly feeling brave and driven by the need to reassure him, she pushed him back against the kitchen table and kissing him one more time before she slowly dropped to her knees in front of him.

“Ally, you don’t have to...” he said grabbing her shoulders, but she just looked up at him and he fell silent. Her intentions were clear even to him. This was going to happen.

She yanked opened the buttons on his trousers abruptly and caused him to inhale sharply. Slowly she slid the zipper down and slipped one of her hands inside his trousers and brushed it against his already impressively hard cock. She slid her other hand inside his trousers as well slipping both hands around to his firm backside, with a slight push his trousers and boxers fell to the floor, finally freeing him.

She quickly grabbed his thick length and one last time flicked her eyes up to his. Watching him through her long lashes, she could see the desire flame in his eyes.

She slowly leaned forward she ran her tongue across the head of his penis. She knew this wasn’t going to last long because there were already salty drops on the tip.

Seductively she lowered her lips over him, taking as much of him as she could.

“JESUS, ALLY!” he cried out and she pressed her lips firmly around him and began to draw them back up his entire length and then pushed back down again.

Ally was shocked with herself. Normally she hated to do this and limited it to very exceptional occasions with Jason. But right now she loved the power she had over Cole. Moreover, Ally was surprised by how much she wanted this, which is pushed her on.

He softly brushed his fingertips through her hair and firmly took hold of a fistful as she worked her way up and down his cock. Slowly his hips began to move as he pushed in and out of her mouth, moving in rhythm with her.

“Ally, you have to stop,” he cried breathlessly. “I don’t want to come in your mouth.”

But his words just pushed her on further still. She slid her hands around to his butt grabbing both his butt cheeks and pulling him towards her taking his entire length in her mouth.

“Please, Ally,” he begged her. “I’ll come.”

She had to try hard to keep calm because she didn’t want to gag.

She flicked her tongue over the head and he cried out as he grabbed her head and pushed into her as deep as he could. He came hard as his hot salty liquid slid down her throat.

She slowly pulled her mouth away from him and stood up in front of him as she struggled to swallow. Ugh! she thought to herself but then she decided it was totally worth it when she saw the bewilder expression across his face.

“You are fucking amazing,” he said taking her face in his hands and kissing her hard and then pulled back breathlessly and looked back into her face. “How did I think I could ever stay away from you? You are breath-taking. I could never let you go, Ally”.

His words made Ally’s heart leap but she tried to push her feelings back down inside her. She wasn’t ready to admit how she much she cared for him, too.

They spent the night in each other arms in Cole’s bed, hot and sweaty as their body came together two more times.

It was almost four in the morning when finally Ally lay wrapped in Cole’s arms as he softly brushed her hair. She could feel her eyes grow heavier and heavier.

“Ally,” Cole whispered and softly kissed the top of her head. She was too tired to answer.

“I think I am falling in love with you,” she thought she heard Cole whisper softly before she could feel herself fall into the darkness of the sleep she could no longer fight.

  Chapter 10

The next morning Ally woke with a start. For a moment she felt confused. Then she remembered she was at Cole’s house, in his bed. But once again he was gone. Where is he? She thought

She sat up in the bed and looked around the room. It looked different in the daylight then it had the night before when they crashed through the bedroom door in the darkness, tearing off each other’s clothes. She looked around the room and was impressed. The soft cream walls contrasted the dark wood of the bed and the bedside tables and also the large wooden door that, Ally guessed, was the door to the bathroom.

She climbed out of bed needing to pee. She opened what she assume was the bathroom door but was in fact a walk in wardrobe filled with well organised lines of clothes. Shit! Ally thought as she backed out and closed the door. He has more clothes than I have.

She glanced around the room for a second. Maybe there isn’t an En-suite, she thought as she leaned against the wall next to the wardrobe door. But suddenly the wall behind her seemed to give way and she was sent crashing to the floor on to her naked backside.

“Ouch,” she cried as she landed with a thud in a tiled floor. She was surprised to look up and find she was in a beautiful big bathroom. The door to the bathroom was a concealed door that looked like the rest of the wall. Ally had never seen anything like it before except in a Bond movie.

The bathroom was brilliant white and highly polished marble and chrome. There was a huge double shower on one side and a double sink, vanity unit on the opposite side. At the back wall there was the biggest bath Ally had ever seen. This en-suite was huge. The bath alone was nearly as big as her entire bathroom. Her own little en-suite could have fit inside the shower alone.

She used the toilet and washed her hands. Staring at her reflection in the mirror she cringed. She looked like an extra from The Walking Dead. Her just fucked hair was standing on end and there was a mass of knots at the back.

Her black panda eyes, courtesy of not removing her make up before bed the night before, was given an added scary look by her blood shot eyes from too little sleep.

She spotted a hair brush on a glass shelf to the left of the vanity unit. As she picked it up she giggled wondering why Cole would even need a hair brush with his hair cut so tightly. Then the uncomfortable thought hit her that maybe it belonged to one of his many other conquests.

Ally tried to ignore the stab of jealously that thought gave her and turned her attention back to her hair.

She brushed the knots out and tried to smooth it down as much as she could, but it was a lost cause. She pushed it behind her ears and sighed.

“That will have to do,” she muttered to herself. She filled the sink with water and quickly scrubbed her face with some facial scrub she found next to the sink.

Ten minutes later when she was a little happier with her appearance, she headed back out to the bed room and pulled on her jeans and top, deciding to forget about the underwear till she found her bag and got her clean clothes.

She slowly opened the bedroom door and peeked outside. The house was in complete silence. Ally stepped out from the bedroom and quietly made her way done stairs.

When she got to the bottom of the staircase she glanced around but the house seemed deserted.

Where the hell is Cole? She thought to herself.

She thought she could smell something cooking and her stomach grumbled. She made her way down to the kitchen and found Rosie standing at the stove, cooking up a storm and it smelt m
arvellous.

“Good morning, Ally,” Rosie said when she spotted Ally standing nervously at the door. “Come in dearie, and take a seat. I will fix you some breakfast.”

“I really don’t want to put you to any trouble,” Ally said as she moved into the kitchen a little further.

“It’s no trouble at all,” Rosie said and smiled warmly at Ally. “It won’t take long.”

Ally nervously took a seat at the table and blushed as memories of the night before quickly flooded her mind. She thought of how brave she had felt when he pushed Cole against the table and took control of him the way she did. It was very new to her. But he gave her a confidence she never felt with Jason.

“Where’s Cole?” Ally asked turning her attention back to Rosie; remembering that she was still in the elderly lady’s company.

“He is down stairs, I believe,” Rosie said as she placed some orange juice in front of Ally. “You can go down if you like.”

  “Isn’t he busy?” Ally asked.

“I don’t think he will mind you interrupting him,” Rosie smiled and Ally couldn’t help but return her smile. “You can tell him his breakfast is ready.”

Ally quickly drank her glass of orange juice and headed toward the staircase Rosie told her would lead her down to Cole. As she walked down the stairs she could hear a strange rhythmic thumping sound.

She got to the bottom of the stairs and stopped dead in her tracks. In front of her was Cole, dresses in black, knee lengths shorts and trainers. His upper half was bare and covered in sweat. He was running flat out on a treadmill. He had his iPod on and Ally realised he didn’t hear her coming down the stairs.

Ally stood and watched him. As he ran, the perfectly toned muscles in his back rippled as he pounded hard on the treadmill. He really was a perfect specimen of a man.
