His Choice, Her Decision Page 15

by Williams, D. C.

I don’t know if Sebastian noticed the exchange between Sharon and Camille, but I sure as hell did. I can tell by their eye conversation that something is going on and it better not involve Terrance Scott. To my knowledge, Sharon hasn’t been talking to him anymore but from what I just saw, I’m not so sure.

“Aiden, what are you thinking about?”

  “What?”

“I’m trying to get your attention to see if you want to dance? They’re playing the Cupid Shuffle.”

“No, I don’t want to dance, I’ll watch you.” Like that night in the club two years ago, Sharon and Camille are on the dance floor giggling like two girls in high school. Hearing the music change to the Wobble, I notice that Terrance Scott has joined them and is next to Sharon, too damn close to her if you ask me. This is one of her favorite line dance songs, so she’s in her own world. The song changes to the club version and Terrance has his hand at her hip dancing behind her with his eyes glued to her ass while he’s gyrating his pelvis around in sync with hers. I’m going to sit here and see how far she lets this go. No the hell I’m not, she knows I can see her ass. Getting up…

“Aiden, why are you looking like that?” Grabbing my arm, “man, don’t do anything crazy. Just go out there and dance with her. Hey, I’ll go with you and dance with Camille.”

“Why in the hell does he have his fucking hands on her? I’m going to kick that son of a bitch’s ass!” Now the cocky bastard is doing some pumping motion. “Fuck no, I’m kicking his ass, man let go of my damn arm!”

“Aiden, you need to calm the hell down. I’m not trying to go to jail over your jealous ass tonight.” Grabbing at my shoulder, follow my lead, okay?

“Yeah, what the fuck ever, I’m mad at her ass too for allowing that fucker to touch her like that.” Finally, making our way through the crowd, we’re on the dance floor and the music has changed to a slow song. Seeing him saying something in her ear, I assume he’s asking her to slow dance. Fuck that! Placing my hand around her waist, I turn her around to face me while I make damn sure to say with my eyes what my mouth can’t say, “get the fuck on before I kick your bitch ass muthafucker!” Apparently, he can read eyes.

“You decided to dance after all, huh?”

Not saying anything, I focus on the words of the song and holding her luscious body.

“Are you okay, you not mad that I was dancing with Terrance, are you?”

Moving my hands down to cup her ass, “no I’m mad that you let him touch what belongs to me.” Kissing her on her neck, “at least I didn’t cause a scene, right?” The disc jockey must sense that I need help because he’s playing our favorite Earth, Wind and Fire song. “Would you mind if hugged, if I kissed, if I held you tight,” I’m singing into her ear.

Pulling back to look at me, “cause I, never, ever felt this way in my heart before,” she sings back to me. Rocking back and forth in our own world, I realize once again that I love this woman, the mother of my babies, as we continue to sing our song to each other not caring who hears us.

After about the third song, Sharon says that she has to go to the restroom. Following her to wait outside the door, I notice this chick is staring at me. Do I know her? Not wanting to examine my brain to find out, I pull out my phone to scroll through old text messages to avoid eye contact with her.

  “Aiden, you don’t remember me?”

Looking up from my phone and hoping that Sharon doesn’t come out of the restroom anytime soon, “no, I don’t remember you.”

“So your main squeeze made you bring her here tonight, is that it?”

I don’t need this shit. “Look lady, am I supposed to know who you are?”

“Actually, I would think that you’d remember me. We got together right after the two of you started dating about two years ago in Chicago. I’m surprised she’s still with your ass but I can’t say that I blame her, if I remember correctly, you know how to lay that pipe.”

  “Alana?”

“Yes, it’s me.” Giving me a half smile, “I’m not trying to cause any problems, just wanted to say hi.” Walking away, she gives me a wink.

  “Who is that?”

Shit, I hope she didn’t hear anything. “Someone I met in Chicago a while back just coming over to speak.”

“Winking at you like that, I’d bet she’d like to do more than speak.”

Placing my hand inside her back pocket and squeezing her plush cheek, “doesn’t matter, you’re the only one I want to speak to right now.”

“That’s all you think about isn’t it, she asks while giving me a smirk, “I’m ready to go, are you?”

“We can leave, are you tired?”

  “No, I’m horny.”

“Damn, that’s what I’m talking about, let’s go.”

Going back to the table, I tell Sebastian that we’re leaving while Sharon whispers something into Camille’s ear. Walking out of the club, I notice Terrance staring at us. I’m not sure if Sharon is flat out ignoring him or if she doesn’t see him but he looks as if he’s pissed. To damn bad, she’s mine.

  Chapter Thirty Seven

I’m glad that Aiden suggested we get a room here in LA rather than driving back to Bakersfield tonight. My feet are killing me. What in the hell was I thinking to wear platform shoes out tonight? Sitting down on the bed, I remove my shoes and lie back on the bed. “Aiden, will you rub my feet?”

Walking over to the bed, he looks down at me, “sure, I’ll rub your feet. Why did you wear those shoes in the first place?”

Sitting back up, I shrug my shoulders, “I don’t know. The only answer I have is that they looked good with my outfit.”

“You looked good in your outfit.”

I know that look. Getting up from the bed, “I’ll take a shower first and then you can rub them.”

Following me into the bathroom, “want some company in here,” he’s asking as he’s removing his shirt.

Aiden is so predictable. “You can join me but I only want to take a shower.”

Nodding at me with mischievousness in his eyes, “um hmm, all we’ll do is shower,” he says slowly removing his pants and boxers revealing his very erect penis. Damn, Aiden is so fine! “Are you sure that all you want to do is shower,” he’s asking me while holding Snake in his hand while turning the shower on and adjusting the water.

Looking up to meet his eyes, “yes, that’s all I want to do,” I say with laughter in my voice.

Stepping into the shower after him, he turns so that his front is to my back. “Hand me the body wash.” Thank God, the hotel has body wash instead of soap. Rubbing his hands together, he starts at my shoulders and begins to do a slow travel down my back then to my butt where he takes a little time to knead. Dropping to his knees, he plants a kiss on my butt. Continuing his quest, he travels down to my ankles and moves his hands around to begin his slow travel upwards. Reaching my vajayjay, he turns me around to face him. Grabbing my hips, he uses his tongue to slide up my slit before taking possession of my clitoris. Sucking it into his mouth, I can’t take anymore. Letting my head fall back, I fist his hair. Damn, this feels so good. Feeling an oncoming orgasm, he turns me so that my back is against the shower wall to hold me still as he continues his assault. Not able to hold back any longer, I scream, not recognizing my own voice. “Ahh!” Rising to his feet, he cups my breasts in his hands and starts to lick then suck going back and forth until I’m actually on the verge of another orgasm. “Aiden, don’t forget that they’re really sensitive.

Taking one final suck on my nipple, “sorry, just got a little carried away.” Leaning down, he starts to nip at my lips. In between his nips, he says, “I can’t seem to get enough of you.” Using his tongue to open my mouth, we allow our tongues to do a slow dance. Oh, how I love kissing Aiden. Lifting me, he pushes open the shower door and carries me into the bedroom. Pulling back from the kiss, he’s breathing so hard. “I need to get inside of you right now so tell me if I get too rough, okay.” Lying me down on the bed,
I use the heel of my foot to push myself to the middle of the bed. Hovering over me as we move, we can’t seem to break eye contact with one another. Taking my knees, he pushes them apart while leaning down to kiss me. Cupping the back of his head, I suck his tongue into my mouth while he positions himself at my core. Pulling his mouth away, he grunts as he invades my body with one powerful thrust. Closing my eyes, I revel in the feel of him inside of me. As soon as he starts to move, he stops with his eyes opened wide, “did you feel that?”

Nodding at him, “it was a kick, not a flutter.”

“Sharon,” he says with his voice full of emotion. Pulling out of me, he moves to my side while tugging at my arm for me to sit up with him. “Straddle my lap,” he says. Thinking he wants me to ride him while he’s sitting up, he just holds me with his face planted in the crook of my neck. “Why won’t you marry me?”

Feeling something wet on my neck, “Aiden, are you okay?” Using my hands to lift his face so that I can see him, he has tears in his eyes. “Um Aiden, what’s wrong?” Feeling my own tears taking formation, “I don’t know.”

Grabbing me by my chin, “Sharon, you do know.” Dropping his head, “I know I’ve messed up in the past but I am doing everything that I can to make things right between us.” Looking back up at me, “I don’t want my babies born out of wedlock, Sharon.”

I’ve never seen Aiden this emotional before but I can’t marry him. I’ve already disappointed my parents and what if it doesn’t work out between us.

“If it’s about a name, they’re going to have your last name.”

Shaking his head at me, “you think it’s about a name? Is that what you really think?” Laying his head against my chest, “I want my children to have a family just like you and I had growing up. I just felt the most amazing thing and I don’t want our past to separate us. If we hadn’t been here together tonight, you would have experienced this on your own and like earlier, tell me about it when and if it were to cross your mind.” Looking back up into my eyes, “please Sharon, please marry me.”

Moving to get off of him, I can’t stop the tears from flowing. “Aiden, I can’t marry you.”

He’s holding my thighs so that I can’t move, “why not,” his voice is just a whisper.

Dropping my head, “you wouldn’t understand.”

Using his fingers to lift my chin, “then help me to understand why you can’t marry me. I’m not going to let this go,” shaking his head from side to side, “this is too important to let you dictate or control the outcome.”

“I’m not trying to control anything. “What if it doesn’t work out between us?”

“Why wouldn’t it work? We love each other. We loved each other before you got pregnant. You’re the woman I’ve wanted to marry before the pregnancy. So why wouldn’t it work between us. You’ve got to come up with a better excuse than that.”

Attempting to get off of his lap again, “what if you decide that you want to be with someone else?”

Closing his eyes, “you won’t let the past be the past, will you? Sharon, if I wasn’t ready to get married, I wouldn’t have asked. I love you and our babies enough to commit myself completely to you.” Looking at me again, “why can’t you accept that?” Taking a deep breath, “let’s go to bed, I’m really tired.”

Moving off of his lap, I feel so confused. I have no idea of what I should say to Aiden. Leaning down, he kisses my stomach and gets out of bed and walks into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Hearing the shower, I pull the covers up to my neck and turn to my side so that the tears can freely flow. The easiest thing to do would be to accept his proposal but the hardest thing to do would be to fail my parents, mainly my dad, once again. I just can’t do that to them.

I’m not sure what time it is but I finally hear Aiden coming out of the bathroom. Not wanting him to know that I’m still awake, I stay turned on my side. Pulling back the covers, he climbs in bed and wraps his arms around my waist. “I love you in spite of the fact that you feel you can’t trust me,” he says as he kisses my shoulder. I hear what he’s saying and deep down, I feel that he’s telling me the truth. Moving his hand down to my stomach, there’s another kick. “Feels like someone’s on my side,” he says in a chuckle.

Feeling an urgency to get to the bathroom, I can’t move. Aiden has his legs and arms wrapped around me like he thought I was going to make an escape after our conversation on last night. Trying to get out of this web he has me entangled in, I still can’t move. “Aiden, let go, I have to use the bathroom.” He is sound asleep. Ugh! Twisting my shoulders, “Aiden,” I yell at him, “let me go, I have to pee.”

“Stop yelling! I heard you the first time.”

Getting out of bed, “then why didn’t you move?”

“For the same reason you didn’t agree to marry me, I just don’t know.” Turning to the other side of the bed, I hear him giggle at his comment.

  Bastard!

“Stop it. I know you’re rolling your eyes and cursing me out. Go use the bathroom and get dressed so that we can head home.”

“No breakfast? Just get dressed so we can head home?”

Looking over his shoulder at me, “do you want breakfast, Sharon?”

“If I have to ask then the answer is no.”

“Ugh, woman you drive me crazy!” Throwing the covers back and getting out of bed, “what do you want to eat?”

Going into the bathroom, I slam the door! Aiden can be such a jerk at times. Any other time, he would be suggesting room service before leaving but because I won’t marry him, he just has to be an ass. Whatever!

Hearing him knock on the door, he says, “you can stop pouting, I ordered room service so don’t stay in there all morning trying to prove a moot point.”

Turning on the shower, I tune him out. What does he mean moot point? If marriage is a moot point, why is he making such a big deal out of it? I’ll remember to ask him that on our next argument. Finishing my shower, I grab one of the robes, compliments of the hotel. Opening the door to the bedroom, I find Aiden sitting on the corner of the bed with the phone to his ear, watching television. Looking up at me, he looks pissed.

“Hey, let me call you back later,” he says, not taking his eyes off of me.

  Frowning at him, “what?”

“On yesterday, when I asked how your day went,” he’s saying extremely slow, placing emphasis on each word, “why didn’t you mention that Terrance Scott came by the spa?”

  “What are you talking about?”

Getting up from the bed, “don’t play with me, Sharon. You know exactly what I’m talking about.”

“He came by the spa, so what.”

Yelling at me, he says, “so what?” Pacing back and forth, “just now, I get a fucking phone call from Josh telling me to turn on the television because apparently, a source contacted the smut page to inform them that my girlfriend is having twins. However, are they really my babies since “my girlfriend” was seen hugged up with Terrance Scott just minutes after receiving flowers?” Looking at me with the angriest eyes, he asks, “now, did he or did he not come to the spa on yesterday to see you?”

Trying to register what he’s saying and why it would be on television, “yes, he came by the spa on yesterday but why is it on the television?”

Rubbing his hands down his face, he’s mad. “Why was he there, Sharon?”

  Now, I’m getting pissed. “Why?”

Laughing out loud, “I’m really trying to get an understanding before I lose it on your ass, Sharon. Was he there to see you and if so, why?”

Raising my eye brow at him while placing my hand on my hip, “before you lose what on my ass, are you serious?”

“So you’re not going to answer me? Is that it? Get your clothes on. I’ll find his ass to get answers. You just don’t get it, do you? The media is making you out to be a whore.” Pulling on his jeans, he looks at me, “Sharon, I can fuck all of America and at the end of the day, I’m still a man. You on
the other hand, it doesn’t quite work that way.” Pulling his shirt over his head, “now word is out that you’re pregnant with twins but the story will go like this, who’s her baby daddy?” Looking at me, “does it make sense now? Hurry and put your clothes on so that we can find your other baby daddy to find out why his ass is visiting you at work when he damn well knows that you’re pregnant with my babies.”

Wow, I can’t believe Aiden is talking to me like this. “Aiden,” sitting on the bed trying to figure out how the media knows about the flowers and Terrance’s visit, “he came by to apologize for a comment that he made and to purchase some spa packages, that’s all.”

Leaning against the wall closest to the bathroom, “what did he say that he felt the need to apologize for?”

Looking down at my fingers which are knotted in my lap, “when I told him that I was pregnant, he said that I was making a mistake by getting pregnant and deciding to keep the babies.”

“A mistake,” he says, raising his eyebrows, “saying that you were making a mistake for keeping the babies. Really? And that’s all he said?”

“Aiden, can you just let it go, okay. He came by to apologize and bought spa packages.”

Rubbing his hands through his hair, “why did he feel the need to hug you, which by the way appeared to be an intimate hug? No Sharon, I can’t let it go. Now what was supposed to be private for those closest to us has been made public.” Walking over to sit down next to me, “I don’t trust him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had something to do with this. Not to mention his attitude last night at the club.”

Glancing over at him, “he didn’t have an attitude, Aiden.”

“Whatever, this is a game to him. That fucker likes to be seen and for some reason, he likes to be seen with you.” Getting up from the bed, “I need to call my publicist to see what we can do to find out who’s behind this and sue the hell out of them for defamation of character.”

Getting up from the bed, I start getting dressed while Aiden is on the phone with his publicist. I really don’t feel that Terrance had anything to do with the leak to the tabloids. If he did, I’d be really disappointed in him. Speaking of disappointment, what are my parents thinking of this? Oh God, please help me out of this mess!
