Kidnapped by the Fae: Paranormal Dark Fae Romance (Fae's Claim Book 5) Page 10

by Laxmi Hariharan

  He shakes his head.

  I frown.

"Your body doesn’t belong to you anymore."

I firm my lips. "Who does it belong to then?"

He inserts his finger deeper inside that forbidden part of me and I arc. "D…don’t do that."

  "Remember what I told you?"

  I nod.

"Tell me. I want to hear it from you."

"I…" I swallow. "I’ll do as you ask."

  "No questions asked."

"No questions asked." I repeat his words.

"Good girl." A flush paints my cheeks. Damn it, why does his praise mean so much to me?

He tilts his head, thrusts his tongue inside my channel. A low groan boils up my chest. He slides his finger deeper inside my back hole, propels his tongue into my pussy. The tingling intensifies, grips my thighs. The melting sensation deepens in my womb, radiates out. My fingers tremble, I bring them down to grip his head. Dig my fingertips into his scalp, arch my back, lean up and into that mouth of his that is doing all kinds of wonderful things to my starving pussy. "More."

His lips curve against my center, and he goes to town. He sucks on my core, curves his tongue inside my channel. More wetness creams from me and he drinks it up. He drinks from me, slurps on my cunt, quaffs from my core like it is the tastiest of liqueurs. He inserts another finger inside my back hole and my entire body bucks. The quivering sensation roars up my spine, drums behind my eyes. My vision tunnels, darkness closes in from the sides of my subconscious mind. He tears his mouth from me.

  "Don’t come."

  22

  Hawke

She blinks, "Wh…what did you say?"

  "You heard me."

"B…but, I was so close." She stares.

"You won’t come until I let you."

Her lips turn down. "That’s not fair." She glances down at my crotch. My dick twitches. "Besides you’re aroused too."

  "I can wait."

  "I don’t want to."

"You’ve held out all these months. What’s a few more days?"

"Days?" She rears up and I place my fingers on her chest. Apply enough pressure for her to sink back. "Relax, darlin’."

  "I don’t wanna…"

"You sound exactly like the little girl you are."

  She snarls. "I’m not little…"

"Then you won’t mind if I—" I lower her hips, turn to grab the split rope attached to the headboard. I loop it around one of her wrists.

  "Wait… No."

I turn, repeat the action, with her other wrist.

  "Hawke, what are you doing?"

"You didn’t think I’d let you come without getting my revenge for what you did earlier, hmm?"

Her lips turn down. "I’d hoped you’d forgotten…"

  "No, you didn’t."

She tosses her head. "Fine, whatever."

  "A little more politeness please?"

"As if that would make a difference?"

"If you please me, who knows? I might let you suck me off."

"I’d have done that willingly before, but now." She makes a low sound of anger in her throat.

"I like it when you go all surly."

  She scoffs.

"That does it." I glide back to the foot of the bed, then step off. Picking up one of the split ropes, I reach for her ankle.

"Oh no, you don’t." She pulls back.

I swoop forward, grab her leg, wind the rope around it. Bending, I slip off the rope attached to one of my ankles, then fix it around her free one. Tying her leg to the foot of the bed, I straighten and survey my handiwork.

She’s spread-eagled, in the position I’d been earlier. Strands of hair cling to her sweaty forehead. "Hawke, you’re pissing me off."

I laugh. "Guess I’ll simply have to let you cool down, hmm?"

I turn, stalk toward the entrance of the room.

A screech follows me. I smile, keep going.

  "Stop."

I bite down on the inside of my cheek to stifle the chuckle that rolls up. Oh, my little girl has a temper. Hmm. I flex my fingers, my palm itches in anticipation. Give me an excuse to spank that pretty little backside. Go on.

  "Hawke, please."

I pause at the doorway, turn. "You said you trusted me earlier, Char."

  She swallows, jerks her chin.

"Stay with me on this. I promise I will make it worth your while."

Her green eyes glitter with suppressed rage. Her features scrunch, then she schools her features into grudging acceptance. "Where are you going?"

I tilt my head. "That’s my business, darling."

  "Why you, obnoxious asshole, you—"

I raise a finger to my lips. "Save your energy, doll, you’re going to need it."

She opens her mouth, and I know if I stay a second longer, I’ll be tempted to take her over my knee. I’d enjoy it; so would she. But that would be the easy way out. Besides, the point of this exercise is to…build the anticipation. Which means, I simply have to complete what I have in mind.

  I pivot, leave the room.

"Damn you, Hawke. Don’t you dare leave me, you—" The door shuts and her voice cuts out. I shouldn’t have left her that way…perhaps. But the sass in that girl. My fingers tingle, and I curl them into fists. This crazy need to mark her all over, to bury myself balls-deep inside of her and never let go. My groin thrums and my balls harden. I should have seen the act to its logical conclusion… But that torturous need to tease, to elongate the pleasure, to intensify the anticipation of what is to come, had made me walk away.

I pause, draw in a breath, and the scent of her deepens.

It clings to my skin, seeps into my blood. My thighs convulse and my heels dig into the floor… No, I did the right thing. She needs to be taught a lesson. She has to understand that she can’t simply render me incapacitated. I’d been out for a few hours…if that…but if somebody had found us during that time and attacked us… It would have cost me precious time and energy trying to break free, and she would have been in danger, and that… I cannot tolerate. Nothing is going to happen to her; not on my watch. Except what you do to her.

I stiffen. She wants it. She asked for it. Does she know how it would be to be taken by a Fae? The tips of my ears extend. I toss my head. I’ve come too far along this path. I am going to help her… That’s all this is.

Give her the chance to put her past behind her. I can give her so much pleasure, use pain as the weapon to peel away the hurt that she’s drawn over herself like a shroud. She is so young; she has her entire life ahead of her. She deserves to be able to love with her entire heart and soul; she deserves better. There is no doubt about that. I can’t give her the kind of fulfillment she warrants… but showing the heights of ecstasy that can be reached between a man and a woman…?

  That's my specialty.

That, I can share with her. Before our time together is over, I intend to put a smile on her face. When we leave here, she’ll never look back on her past; she’ll be ready to face her future…with another... I grit my teeth so hard that pain rips up my jawline. It is only right that I keep away from her after this…is over. But for the next few days, at least, I will be her entire world… The one she can rely on to take care of all of her needs. And I intend to ensure I do a fucking good job of it too.

I zip up my pants, march down the stairs to the small study tucked away in a corner of the ground floor of the safe house.

I shut the door behind me, walk toward the table on the far end. I touch the device on the surface, and instantly, it lights up. An image appears. "The fuck have you been asshole?"

  "Tristan?"

  "Who were you expecting?"

I shift my weight from foot to foot. "I called for Dante."

"You went after a member of my family; you talk to me."

"Right." I thrust out my chest. I am not going to feel guilty; I am not.

"Where is she?" Tristan leans forward and anger distorts his features.

  I d
on’t blame him. Hell, if I was in his place and someone had gone after one of mine… But she is mine. She is a part of me… Fuck off asshole, don’t think that. Not now.

"The fuck are you doing to her? If you’ve hurt her in anyway, I’ll—"

"Relax." I crack my neck, tamp down on the anger that bubbles up my throat. The man is the head of her family; he has a right to ask after her. "She’s fine." I tip up my chin, meet his gaze. "Or she will be."

"What the hell you do you mean?"

"I mean… She was kidnapped by Dimitri—"

Tristan swears aloud. "That fucker, why the hell can’t he die? Why is it that every time we kill him, he simply comes back to life?"

"Tell me about it." I shuffle my feet. Why am I so uncomfortable? I shouldn’t feel this guilty. I shouldn’t. I haven’t done anything wrong. I set my jaw. "She’s fine. No harm came to her, at least."

Tristan frowns. "What do you mean?" He looks me up and down.

"What you looking at asshole? You’re mated, remember? And while my tastes tend to the extremes, I don’t poach."

"What?" He frowns, "What are you talking about?"

"I mean, I respect Jess too much."

He scowls. "Dickhead, I was merely concerned about your safety."

I shuffle my feet. "I’m fine."

"Clearly, you’re not, or you would be using your telekinetic powers to teleport in, and communicate with us, which you didn’t. You’re using the telecom device which means…" He scratches his jaw. "You’re hurt?"

I blow out a breath. "I’m on the mend."

"Faced resistance getting her away from Dimitri, eh?"

  "Something like that."

  "And Charley?"

  "She’s fine."

His lips curl. "She’s giving you a hard time?"

"Maybe." I drag my fingers through my hair and drop down into the chair. She is only a girl; I can handle her. I can show her everything I have learned, practice my expertise of how much pleasure can be wrung out of the body of a woman with her, and— "Hawke."

"What?" I frown at the countenance of one of my best friends.

"You’re distracted. Are you fully functional yet?"

"About that." I move my bulk, trying to find a more comfortable position. "Bloody furniture in this house. With the kind of investments the Fae make around the world, you’d think Dante could spend more money on buying better quality gear."

"And risk us guys deciding to set up house there and never return?"

I frown. The thought hadn’t crossed my mind, not completely… Okay, maybe a little. A part of me had wondered how it would be to simply take my Char and vanish… Run away from my responsibilities, and this anguish I carry inside when it comes to her. I rub my chest, and he frowns.

  "You okay, Hawke?"

"Stop asking me that bloody question."

"Hmm." He firms his lips. "How soon will you be able to teleport?"

I lean back into the chair, "Soon I hope." The fastest way would be to mate, use the energy boost of our joined-up selves to fill my telekinetic energy reserves. Wait, what? No. No way am I going to mate her. This, whatever it is between us…is lust. That’s it. A way to fuck her out of my system, and give her what she needs. A chance at a fresh start… Yeah, that’s what it is.

"If everything goes well, we should be out of here in three days." The minimum time needed for my energy reserves to replenish on their own.

"Three days?" He strokes his chin. "You had a complete flame out?"

  I tilt my head.

"You realize how difficult it is to return from one of those, right? It’s the equivalent of a human burn out, and it takes them months to recover from it."

"Yeah." I cut my palm through the air. "Good thing we’re not like them."

  "Charley is half human."

“No shit." I drum my fingers on my chest.

"She’s fragile, that girl. She’s seen and heard more than what most adults would in a lifetime."

  Don’t I know it.

"It’s why I trust you to protect her."

  I freeze. "Excuse me."

Tristan chuckles. "You weren’t expecting that, huh?"

  "You’re shitting me?"

"Nope." A voice sounds behind him and he turns. "What’s that, Jess?" He angles his head, nods. He turns to me. "She says that she backs me up in this. That you can stop Charley from self-combustion. She also agrees that the two of you would be good for each other."

  "And what do you think?"

He scans my face, "I think, you should stop being so hard on yourself. You deserve a chance at happiness."

Something hot stabs at my chest, my pulse rate ratchets up, and a drumming sensation shoves at my temples. Damn the man. "Settling down has made you soft, asshole."

He laughs. "I wish the same for you, dickwad."

"And you think Charley’s the one who’ll teach me the fault of my errant ways?"

"I think you’d be good for each other."

  I glare at him.

"Either you’ll kill each other…or," he angles his head. "Or you’ll kill each other."

  "Thanks."

"What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger and all that." He smirks.

"She weakens me." I frown. I hadn’t meant for that to come out, not to another. Definitely not to a fellow Fae Corps soldier. Fuck. I jump up, begin to pace. "She’s fucking annoying, your sister-in-law. She gets under my skin, never listens me, mouths me off, does stuff simply to irritate me. In fact—"

"In fact, I am pretty sure that you’ve fallen for her."

I pivot at the new voice. "Jess?"

I glare past her at my douchebag of a friend, who pulls the woman onto his lap. "Hello, Hawke. About time you called us."

I redden. Shit, the last thing I need is to face the sister of the girl I’d intended to fuck not five minutes ago.

"Don’t let her get to you, old chap." Tristan nods.

I frown. "What do you mean?"

"Charley is wise beyond her years and obstinate."

"That’s putting it lightly," I snort.

"She’s way too clever for her own good, and once she sets her sights on something—" Jess’ voice trails off. "Once she decides she wants it—"

"You mean me?" I firm my lips.

She nods. "It’s no secret that she’s attracted to you, and you to her."

  "I am not."

"Oh! Pfft." She waves her hand in the air. "You’d have gotten into her pants if it hadn’t been for the fact—"

"She’s waaay too young for me."

"She’s exactly the kind of woman you need to thaw the stick up your ass."

  I blink. "Uh?"

"You’ve done it now, Jess." Tristan cackles. "You’ve rendered the old boy silent."

"Bet Charley can do much worse. She gets to you, doesn’t she?"

Correction. She’s already burrowed her way under my skin, she’s the one-track obsession of my mind. She’s fixating on me, it’s why I must—

"Don’t." Jess shakes her head. "Don’t do it. Don’t run."

"Easy for the two of you to say that," I grumble. "You, with your smug everything-is-fine-with-the-world-now-that-we’ve-found-each-other crap."

"It’s a fucking fine thing, and you know it," Tristan drawls. "We want the same for you."

I scowl at the picture they make. Tristan overshadows Jess’ smaller body. She leans back and into him and he tucks her head under his chin. Is that what I want? That kind of seamless unity? That oneness of being in complete tandem with another? Of not being alone again, having someone to protect, to build a life together? A family? What am I thinking? The Fae Corps is all I need. The men who join us are all the kin I had ever sought out. They have my back and I have theirs.

"I thank you for your sentiments."

Tristan frowns. Jess leans forward, "But…?"

"I can’t understand why you’d think I am a good match for Charley, considering how different we are."

  "And yet so
similar." Jess tosses her head.

"Considering she could start a life with someone her own age, someone who’d—"

"I knew it." Jess stabs her finger at me. "Didn’t take you to be such a pussy."

My jaw drops, "Aww, come on, Jess."

"No, you listen to me, Hawke Feldman. Age is a number, nothing more, and no one knows that better than I do. I’ve seen so-called perfect matches turn out to be complete nightmares and others where, from the outside nothing seemed to be correct, it shouldn’t have worked, and yet they were the happiest."

  "Like the two of you?"

Tristan glowers, Jess smirks. "You wouldn’t think Tristan was the best match for me."

  I scratch my chin, "He’s below you…"

  Tristan snarls under his breath.

"He should thank his lucky stars that you agreed to be his."

Tristan’s features harden, then—I blink—his face cracks in a massive grin. What the—?

"You’re right about that, asshole, I thank every fucking higher power—not that I believe in these things—but the fact that she accepted the mating bond… Whoa… That was the day which changed everything for me."

"Aww, honey." She turns her face. He kisses her. The two start making out right in front of me. I clear my throat. They don’t notice.

"Guess I’ll be going then… Uh."

Jess moans, and Tristan pulls her closer.

"Umm. Okay." I reach to switch of the transmitting device.

"Hold on." Jess pulls away from Tristan. "You take care of her and bring her home in one piece; you hear me, Hawke?"

  I draw in a breath, "Yes Ma’am."

"And remember, you have my full permission to court her. Don’t return unless the two of you have arrived at some decision."

"Did you say what I think you did?" I scowl.

  "Guess so." Her lips curve.

"I don't get it." I rub my forehead, "How could you relinquish the future of your sister to a heartless, merciless, motherfucker like me?"

"That’s the entire point." Tristan scowls.

  "What?"

  Jess titters.

I look between them. "What am I missing?"

  "Gotta go. Bye Hawke—"

  "Wait."

  The screen blanks out.
