Present Day…
I can hear them talking, but it’s like I’m in a tunnel. The steady beat of the helicopter overhead drowns out the words of my brothers. The chaplain is coming man. Get the chaplain over here! Nichols, I hate this for you, man. We are going to get you on a flight out ASAP. You’re going to be okay, man. You’ve got this. I see Meadows in front of me, but I really only see his lips moving. There are four other people talking to me, but I’m not even sure who is saying what. Oh shit, he’s passing out. MEDIC! All I can do is think of her face. Her beautiful face, standing in the sun at the beach in a little bikini. My girl, my woman, my wife, my life. I love you, Sergio. Be safe. That’s what she said on our last Skype call. Right after she showed me the latest ultrasound picture. Sixteen weeks. We were so close to finding out what we were having. I’ve been in this shithole now for ten of those weeks. I’ve never gotten to touch her swollen belly and now…
Two Years Ago…
Walking into Ridge Hall, I remove my patrol cap. I have to start my in processing at Ft. Benning. This is an all new gig for me. I’ve never been an instructor before. Sure, I’ve been in charge of my squad, but this time I’m in charge of making sure people know how to do their jobs. I have to make sure these guys have been trained to be at the top of their game. After signing in to the computer, I take my seat. I stare at the TV screen and watch the coverage on the latest attack in Afghanistan. I’m happy to be out of there, for a year or so at least. That’s one of the reasons I took this duty station, I need a break. Six tours in five years is just a little bit much. Yes, they’re only six to eight months a piece and some guys have a lot longer tours, but it’s too much back and forth. I feel like I need to be settled somewhere for a while. This teaching position should allow me to do that. I know I’ll probably do at least one rotation before it’s time for a new duty station. Which for me seems to happen every three years, but honestly since I’ve gotten out of basic training and AIT, I’ve been stationed at a base but haven’t gotten to spend much time there. Hence the whole six tours in five years thing.
“Staff Sergeant Nichols,” I hear break through the room.
Standing up, I step forward with my paperwork in hand, not really looking as I walk. Looking up, I see the most fucking beautiful face I’ve ever seen. I follow her around to a cubicle and take a seat. I hand over my paperwork, “Everything should be there.”
She doesn’t say much as she flips through the papers. “Okay. Well, welcome to Ft. Benning. Let me get all of this entered and get you your room assignment.” Checking her out in a set of ACUs isn’t my normal thing to do, but I do it anyway. I can figure out most of what I need to know by looking at it. Her nametape says Owens, she’s a sergeant and we aren’t in the same chain of command. I should just ask her out. Shit, she just said something to me. What did she say? Oh yeah, room assignment.
“Oh, I’ve got an apartment just off post. I’m rooming with a buddy. Well, I’m staying there while he’s on a short TDY, and he didn’t want to give up his lease,” I explain. I don’t see a ring so she’s not married. “So what does everyone do after work here? I was here a long time ago when I was in basic and AIT, but not long after that.”
She looks up at me with a no-nonsense look about her. “Most of the NCOs go to the NCO Club, otherwise it’s pretty much stuff off post.”
“So what do you do when you get off, Sergeant Owens?” I give her a grin.
She gives me an ‘are you fucking kidding me’ look. I’ve clearly annoyed her. “Here’s everything you need.” She shoves a packet in my hand. “If you change your mind about room assignments, talk to housing.”
Well, that was a blow to my pride.
~*~*~
After a couple weeks, I’ve fallen into a routine with my job. I am actually enjoying it. Tonight I’m meeting some of the other instructors at the NCO Club. That’s the thing about the military, you learn to make f
ast friends. Since we’ve been so busy, tonight is kind of my welcome party. Living off post has been great, but sometimes it makes it harder to feel a part of it all. Walking into the club, I immediately see my group. After having a few beers from the bar and talking with the guys, I make my way to the males latrine. Coming out of the female’s next door, I meet none other than Sergeant Owens. “Well hello there, Sergeant. Nice to see you again.”
“Do I know you?” she asks with a smart-ass tone.
“Damn. I didn’t leave a lasting impression on you like you did me. I’m off my game,” I answer with a sweetness. “I met you a couple of weeks ago, when I processed in.”
“So out of all the soldiers I’ve processed in the past few weeks, you expect me to remember you? Is that right?” she says with a cockiness.
I lean against the wall. “Oh, I’m very memorable. You just didn’t give me a chance.”
“So I was supposed to give you a chance. After you asked me about getting off? Seriously, I’ve seen better game on the playground.” She covers her mouth, quickly realizing she just outed herself.
I give her a cocky grin. “See, you do remember me. I knew I wasn’t off my game that bad.”
She gives me a small laugh with a sexy smile. “Well, I guess you caught me.”
I lean against the wall. “So how about a for real introduction this time?” I stick my hand out. “I’m Sergio Nichols, nice to meet you.”
She puts her small hand in mine. “Mackenzie Owens.”
Later that night…
“I don’t normally do things like this,” she pants as we stumble through my front door.
“You don’t have sex?”
“No, I mean yes, I have sex. Just not a few hours after meeting someone. It’s a rule for me.”
“We met two weeks ago. You shot me down, I was traumatized,” I pant as I work to shove her jeans down. “Don’t you remember?” Shit, her boots.
She grins. “Oh yeah. Now I don’t feel so bad.”
Once I finally get her pants and boots off, I notice she’s not wearing panties. Oh, thank the heavens. I sit her on the dining room table as she works to get her top off. Leaning down, I take her nipple in my mouth. “Fuck. You are good enough to eat. I think I will.” I start licking and nibbling down her body until I reach the slickness between her thighs. I hear her sigh and she starts to squirm in anticipation. Taking my fingers, I spread her folds and run my tongue up over her clit.
“Oh fuck,” she breathes.
Delving back in, I continue to lick and suck until she comes, then kiss my way back up her body until I get to her mouth. “That was just the beginning, baby.”
She rips at the buttons on my shirt, tearing it off me while I work to get my shoes, pants and boxers off. Before letting go of my pants, I grab a condom from the pocket. “Let me help with that,” she purrs.
Once the condom is in place, she wraps her legs around my waist, pulling me in hard. “Fuck me, Nichols. I need you now,” she moans.
I slam into her. “Call me Sergio.”
She grips the edge of the table. “Oh fuck! Oh Sergio! Harder!”
I feel myself building. This girl has me worked up, I mean to the point I almost came on the way here. “Are you almost there, baby?”
She nods quickly. “Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh god!” she screams.
I slam into her for the final time and fill the condom. Feeling her hot, sweaty body against mine, I slowly pull out. Disposing of the condom, I come back in the living room to find her sprawled out naked on my couch. “Well, make yourself at home.”
“Well I mean isn’t that acceptable after you come on someone’s face?” she says with a grin.
“I suppose,” I say as I flop down on the couch next to her, pulling her over in my lap.
She grins over her shoulder at me. “Round two?”
I laugh. “I’m not superman, but a nap then round two.”
She sighs and settles into my chest. “Okay, tough guy.”
One Month Later…
“So tell me about your family.” I ask Mac as she finishes her milkshake. Nearly every free minute we’ve had the past three weeks has been spent doing something together or screwing. I’ve never met someone I’ve felt so comfortable with, so I wanna know more about her.
“Well, my brother, Lance, is a SEAL so I don’t see him much. My parents live in Savannah now since my dad, Michael, is retired and my mom, Nancy, has always been an Army wife. We moved around a lot when I was young. I’m close to my parents and wish I could see them more.” She pauses. “What about you? A name like Sergio is not normal around here.”
“Well, my grandparents on my dad’s side were Russian. Our original last name was Nikolaev, but my grandfather changed it to Nichols when they moved here. My dad, Tim, short for Timur, is in the Marines, he still has another eight months before he retires. My mom, Nicola, is a food critic.” Her face looks at me weird. “It’s something she could do at any base. She has a culinary degree, so this way she could work.”
“Have I ever read her reviews?” she questions.
God, Mom is going to kill me. “She does it under a fake name. Have you read any reviews by Nicola Bruin?”
She throws her hands over her mouth. “Oh my gosh! Are you kidding me? I love her reviews.”
“Well don’t spill her secret, she’ll kill me,” I beg.
“So no siblings?”
“I have, well, had a sister, Sassa. She died a couple of years ago in a car accident. We’ll never be sure if it was really an accident or not. She battled depression and she was openly gay. She had a girlfriend whom she loved, and my parents completely accepted it, but she just had her own private demons. She and I were really close,” I explain.
She grabs my hand. “That is horrible. I’m so sorry, Sergio. I don’t know what I’d do. I mean I’ve had to think about it a lot with my brother’s job, but I seriously don’t know.”
“I just hope she’s in peace now, she spent so much of her life battling who she was.” I shrug, “That’s all I can hope for.”
She grabs my hands. “That’s a great way to think for sure. I’m just happy that your parents accepted her, I mean so many parents wouldn’t. What happened to her girlfriend?”
I shrug. “Liz and I talk through texts and stuff every once in a while. Not often though.” I put our trash in the bin. “Let’s go so I can kick Meadows’ ass at bowling and have a few beers.”
She gives me beautiful smile. This girl, she’s awesome. She likes sports, drinks beer, eats bar food and can beat most guys in a PT test. When I marry a girl one day, she is going to be like her. Hell, if not her.
She laughs and grabs my arm. “Come on then, let’s go so I can make both of you cry when Shannon and I beat you.”
I pull her into my chest. “No way, you’re on my team. I’m not bowling with Meadows.”
“Who said I wanted to be on your team?” she smirks.
I lean into her ear. “You did last night when I fucked you so hard, you screamed so loud that the neighbor came over to make sure everyone was okay.”
She laughs. “I loved your explanation though. ‘Ugh sorry, ma’am, we were playing a video game. We’re very competitive. It won’t happen again.’ You’re such a suck up. That old woman knew what we were doing. Especially since I screamed, ‘fuck me harder.’ I think she just came over to embarrass us.”
Following her out to my truck, I watch her ass. She has a great ass. I’ve seen it from all directions, covered and uncovered, and I can’t seem to get enough of it. The only thing that is better than that is her tits, they’re a full D cup. They fit into my hand perfectly and her nipples love the attention I give them. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not just about her body, but her body on top of the person she is, I feel like I’ve hit the fucking jackpot.
Once we walk into the bowling alley, I see my buddy from my squad, SGT Meadows, and his wife, Shannon. He and I hit it off when I moved here, so we hang out a lot i
n our off time. His wife is cool and Mac likes her so it works out.
I hug Shannon as we get to them. “So, are you ready to buy me beer all night because your husband can’t keep it out of the gutter?”
“Damn, and here I thought you were going to team with me tonight.” She laughs and then gives me a shy smile. “Besides, I can’t be drinking now anyway.”
I look at her and then to Meadows. “No way. Now, Shannon, why did you let this douche bag knock you up? I thought I was going to help you find someone better. Someone who doesn’t look like an overgrown Opie Taylor.”
“What can I say?” She shrugs. “I was asleep and he took advantage of me, so now I’m stuck.”
Meadows acts offended, but I give him a backslapping congratulations hug, as does Mac. “So what are we playing for if it’s not beer?” Mac asks.
Meadows grins. “Oh, we’re still playing for beer, I just get her share.”
I snort, “Well that’s great because you’re going to be buying them anyway. You getting double won’t be an issue.”
Later on, after several pitchers of beer, we’ve beat the pants off the other couple and we’re back at my apartment. I’m slamming into her from behind against the back of the couch when the front door swings open and in walks my friend, who has the apartment. “Whoa!” he yells at the same time you hear a “fuck” and a “shit” come from us.
Mac screams as she grabs a blanket to cover herself from the back of the couch. Phillips puts his hands up. “Whoa, sorry, man, I knew I should’ve called you to let you know I was coming in for the weekend.”
I’m holding a throw pillow in front of my dick. “It’s okay, man, it’s your apartment. We got a little carried away after bowling.”
Mac has slipped back to my room. He points in the direction. “So, you gotta girl?”
“Yeah, I guess so, man. She’s awesome.”
He nods and cracks a grin. “Looked awesome, that’s for sure.”
