After disposing of the body, Lexi went and searched for the bathroom. Each and every room that she visited was unique in its own way, yet completely different. Eventually finding the right door to walk into, Lexi was greeted to a luxurious bathroom. Glancing down, she found a gram of cocaine sitting on the bathroom counter. “Why, I will just have to reward myself for a perfect execution.” Lexi chirped to herself while rubbing a dab of cocaine into her cheeks. “That was disappointing. My maid gets better quality than this.” Glancing into the mirror, Lexi admired her reflection and made sure that no blood splatter had gotten on her face. With a quick smile and wink at herself, Lexi rushed out of the bathroom to go answer a house phone she heard ringing. Before she had even raised the phone to ear, she heard someone begin to speak. “Alpha Falcon 6, good job on your mission. You will find your payment on your doorstep by the time you arrive home. It will be disguised as a mail delivery. Inside with your payment will be instructions about your hit.” By the time Lexi had understood the topic of the call, her agency had hung up. “At least the said good job, this time!” Her mind began to wonder as she thought about the last mission she had and how she almost lost her position at her agency. If not for her mighty persuasive skills (and the possibility of her threatening her boss’s life, Lexi was allowed to keep her job and continue what she was passionate about.
Grabbing her purse, she walked out the front door and was instantly greeted with the smile of a gorgeous private driver. “Why, hello handsome,” she greeted the driver while dipping down to get into the car, “take me home, please!” Nodding his head, he got into the driver’s seat of the car and began to drive off. Lexi began to sink into the back seat of the car and found that the driver had purchased a sandwich and soda for Lexi to delve into. With a quick smile of appreciation, Lexi quickly began to work away at devouring her meal. By the time she was finished, the driver was opening up her door to let her escape back into her house. Giving the driver a nod of her head in replacement of a thank you, she grabbed her purse and quickly walked to her front door, where she could see a package waiting for her. Stepping inside her brilliant mansion, Lexi threw her designer purse and shoes on the floor. As she ripped open the package, a check and a manila folder fell on to the floor, taking place next to her shoes and purse. Grabbing the manila folder, Lexi gently opened it and was greeted by the face a man who appeared to be incredibly gentle. Furrowing her brows, she quickly read over his profile and the description that was listed.
Name: Matt Fredrick Holder
Height: 6 foot 2 inches
Weight approximation: 220 pounds
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Green
Ethnicity: White
Matt Holder is the leader in a human trafficking gang which is run internationally. This gang is responsible for kidnapping more than 11,00 girls in one year, ransoms, infanticide after their victims get pregnant and have a child, abuse, and 578 homicides. This is a high profile case. COMPLETE IMMEDIATELY.
After closing the memo, Lexi grabbed the check. A big smile spread across her face as she saw the amount of zeros that were placed on the check. “Maria!” Lexi called, hoping that her maid would be able to hear her from all the way downstairs. Within a few moments, a round woman with rosy cheeks appeared. “Yes, madam?” Maria inquired. “Could you please do me a favor and get me a bath started? And once you have that started, please make me dinner; whatever you feel like cooking is whatever I will have! And could you also please put this check into my bank account? Thank you so much, Maria.” Lexi gave Maria a peck on the cheek and a small hug. “You’re the best.”
Twenty minutes later, Lexi was undressing herself to get into the bubble bath that Maria had prepared for her. Staring at her naked body in the mirror, she admired her beautiful curves; her supple breasts matched her developed waist line. Her dark skin was flawless and held home to a couple dark freckles. Stepping into the warm water, Lexi immediately began to feel her muscles and her mind relax. Closing her eyes, she fell into a deep sleep.
CHAPTER TWO
Lexi awoke to a knocking on her bathroom door and Maria calling out her name. “Yes, Maria?” she responded, noticing how cold the bath water had gotten since she had fallen asleep. “Your dinner is ready. I made you seafood platter, with lobster, caviar, brioche, and oyster on the shell.” After finishing explaining the menu of the night, Maria walked off to leave Lexi alone. Stepping out of the bath, Lexi grabbed a robe to wrap around her while she dried her hair off. Running downstairs, she grabbed her favorite bottle of wine and quickly made her way to the dinner table, where she found Maria sitting down, preparing her plate. “Thank you for this wonderful meal that you’ve prepared for me tonight. It really looks spectacular!” Lexi exclaimed, clapping her hands together. Delving into the meal, Lexi rolled her eyes back into her head and she began to devour the succulent pieces of lobster tail. “Maria,” Lexi spoke with complete admiration and appreciation, “I don’t know how you do it. But this is absolutely mind-boggling. I can’t image how you could possibly craft such a fantastic meal.” Maria nodded her head in acknowledgement and smiled, while blowing on her oyster on the shell in order to cool it down. After the two finished dinner, Lexi paid Maria in cash for the duties she completed that day and Maria was off to go back home.
Going back to the entrance hallway, Lexi grabbed the files her boss had sent her. Pulling out her laptop, she went into Google and searched Matt Holder’s name. The first link that showed up was his Facebook and she clicked on it. From his Facebook, she was able to see that Matt was a man with ambition. His latest post showed him in Hawaii, sipping on a margarita with two voluptuous women bending forward to place themselves in his picture. Scrolling down some more, she saw several posts about how he was bragging about how “successful” his business was. From the looks of it, he seemed to be well of, but certainly not as rich as Lexi was.
Using a special source that her agency provides her with, Lexi decided to delve deeper into the life of Matt Holder. She discovered that he was well off, but not nearly as rich as Lexi was. From the dozens of pictures she viewed from his profiles, she did believe that he was an incredibly handsome man. She took pity on the man, as she felt that his beautiful gift of beauty would be going to waste so very early in his life. She noticed how he did complete some charity work, but that inner rage ignited inside of her knowing the horrible acts of violence he had committed and encouraged against other women; the inner rage that encouraged her to continue with her career as an assassin.
Looking at the time, she decided to go to bed early in order to get an early rise in the morning to go check out Matt’s location. Slinking up to her bedroom, Lexi threw on a silk night-gown and tucked herself into a bed that was large enough to hold four people.
By the time that she awoke the next morning, the sun had barely kissed away the darkness of the night. Lexi rubbed away the sleet that had fallen into her eyes over the night-time and looked at her alarm clock. Pushing back her down-filled comforter, she jumped into the shower and began to prepare to meet Matt face to face.
Two hours later, Lexi had finished applying all of her makeup, had eaten breakfast, and was now driving herself towards Matt’s house in order to begin her stake out. She always did this part by herself; she felt like if she brought a chaperone along to drive her around, her flow would be interrupted and she would not be as correct in her hunting. Arriving to her destination, Lexi was greeted by a beautiful chateau house that was complimented with well-maintained landscaping. While Lexi could most certainly purchase at least four properties just like this one, she couldn’t help but feel a little sting of jealousy at the homeliness that this house projected. Remembering all the different types of crimes that the owner committed, Lexi shuddered at all of the possible atrocities that may have possibly been committed at this very property. Thinking about all of the pain that this man created, Lexi felt the inner rage that inspired her work fuel up inside of her.
Pulling out h
er camera, she began to photograph every important aspect of the property. In the rising of the sun, she saw a man bend down to grab a newspaper off of the driveway; seeing the man’s face, her mind immediately began to flash back to the hours of research she had done on Matt Holder. Recognizing the criminal, she got out of her car and began to walk towards the man. While his back was turned towards her, she ruffed up her hair and smeared her eyeliner. “Hello? Excuse me, sir?” Lexi asked in a shy voice, doing her best to get Matt’s attention without trying to draw too much attention to herself. Matt turned around and that was when Lexi was truly able to appreciate the beauty of the man. “Yes?” Lexi stuck her hand out and weakly grasped Matt’s hand. In her mind, she was a bit agitated; she always hated portraying a weak character but she knew that that was how it was the best first step to take in order to get the job done. “I’m sorry, I’m new to the neighborhood. I’m looking for 915 Telegraph Road. I just bought a house in this neighborhood but I can’t seem to find my way there. Can you please help me?” Matt nodded his head and pointed across the street. “Hello, neighbor! You are actually just across the street from me. Do you need help unpacking or moving any big boxes? I’m free today and I don’t see a moving company behind you.” He greeted Lexi with a wink and a smile. “No, thank you though. I’ll be fine on my own. I appreciate it, though. I will be seeing you around, neighbor.” Lexi did her best to provide Matt with a polite smile while avoiding eye contact with the man. She wanted to do her best to look as timid as she possibly could, so when she was prepared to attack he would be completely off guard. Turning to walk away, she could feel the eyes of her future victim on her butt, which only encouraged her more to take his life.
Getting into the car, Lexi pulled into the driveway across the street from Matt’s house. She saw a number of the Real Estate agent’s number on a sign in front of the house and dialed it up. Placing an outrageous offer on the empty lot, it was merely a matter of minutes before she received a phone call back saying that the property was hers. Getting out of the car, she went to her trunk and pulled out three suitcases. Looking back to see if there was any sort of danger coming her way, Lexi saw that she was still being watched by Matt. Reaching the door, she realized she didn’t have keys to get inside of the house. As she glanced over her shoulder again, she began to fumble with her keys to continue portraying herself as a timid individual. Finding her master key, she pushed open the door and was greeted by dank air.

*An Alpha Female Billionaire Romance*
Chapter One
Ann rubbed her eyes and glanced at her alarm clock. Realizing that she was late for her meeting, she ran her fingers through her hair, threw on a dress she found lying on the floor, grabbed her purse, and ran out of the door.
As Ann walked down the street, she caught a glance of herself in a reflection of a store window. She was incredibly grateful to have been blessed with a perfectly trim figure that most girls run their asses off to get. Ann was incredibly gorgeous, and she was well aware of it; the daily stares and whistles that men threw at her while she walked down the street was a constant reminder that she was beautiful.
While Ann neared the entrance to her workplace, a small cluster of men rushed to grab the door for her. Completely ignoring their act of kindness, Ann walked through the door with a flip of her hair. Just before she entered the elevator, her phone rang. Digging through her handbag, Ann’s heart sunk when she recognized the number. It was her friend Jennifer.
“Hello?”
“Ann, I’m so sorry to call you at work. I just needed someone that I could count on,” Jennifer sobbed through the phone.
“Jen, it’s okay. I promised you that I would always be here for you. What’s going on? Are you all right?” Ann grew increasingly worried as a few moments of silence passed between the two friends.
“It’s just getting bad again, Ann. Last night, he sent me to the ER again. He pushed me down a flight of stairs and now I have a concussion. I’m so scared, Ann. I don’t know what to do. I know if I ever try to leave, he’ll hunt me down and leave me for dead,” Jen whispered through the phone receiver.
Ann was incredibly anxious. She had to be at her meeting ten minutes ago, but she knew that her friend needed her. The meeting could wait. Pacing back and forth, Ann began to contemplate her options on how she could help Jennifer.
“Is he home now?” Ann questioned.
“No, and he’s not going to be for a few days. He just got another load of cargo to drive to Ohio.”
Thanking the universe that Jen’s husband was an over-the-road truck driver, Ann commanded Jennifer to gather her belongings and head over to Ann’s apartment for the day.
“You’ll be safe there, I promise. There is no way that he can get in, not with the security systems that I have in place. If you get hungry, my credit card is on my nightstand. You can order whatever you want. And don’t you dare stress about paying me back. I’ve got to go now, hun. Everything is going to be okay, I promise. I’ll see you at home tonight.”
Ann got off of the phone and got into the elevator. She had no idea how she was going to make it through the day; the morning had already been stressful enough. Digging through her purse, Ann lit a cigarette in the elevator. One of the men in the elevator cleared his throat.
“Excuse me, miss, but you’re not allowed to smoke in here.”
Looking down at the man’s shirt, Ann saw that the man worked for the building.
With the cigarette in hand, Ann took a step toward the man.
“Honey, I own this building. I own you and your paycheck. I can do whatever the hell I want.” Ann retorted while looking the man up and down.
Taking a step back to stand in her original spot, Ann’s mind became clouded with worry for her friend. That worry quickly took the back place in her mind as the elevator doors opened. It was time for business.
Chapter Two
Ann stepped into a room filled with men of all different types; men who were alluring and other men who bored Ann at the site of their choice of clothing. As soon as she stepped into the room, all eyes were on her beautiful red hair and developed figure. She knew that she could have any one of these men at her choosing, but none of the men attracted Ann. The men stood for Ann, out of respect. Throwing her handbag down on the table, Ann tied her hair back into a ponytail and adjusted her dress.
“Is everybody here?” Ann asked.
A man to the left of her shook his head. “We’re still waiting for one more person.”
“And who is that?”
“JFL, our competitor. You do know what this meeting is about, right Miss. Richard? This isn’t a monthly budget meeting,” the man said while glancing down at her budget notes. “This is to discuss the offer that JFL has delivered to us.”
Ann nodded her head after the man had finished speaking. Of course! How could she be so forgetful? Pulling out a mirror from her purse, Ann carefully applied lipstick. Right as she was finishing up, a man walked through the door.
“Hello, I’m Justin from Just Find Love. I’m here to discuss the deal that my company offered to you,”
Ann looked up at the man who was talking and felt her breathing stop. She had never seen a man more intriguing than this one. He was incredibly handsome, and Ann wanted to stare at him for days. Realizing that she was in a trance, Ann nodded her head and asked, “I’m sorry. What did you say your name was?”
“Justin. I work for JFL.”
“Hello, Justin. I presume that you’re representing your company?”
“Yes ma’am, I am. My company would like to offer you 50 billion dollars to buy out your company.”
Ann felt all of the men in the room turn their stare to her. 50 billion was a lot of money, but it was much less than what her company was worth. Besides, that was
what she made in a year. There was no way that she was going to let her competition insult her in such a manner.
“No, I’m sorry. My company will not be accepting this offer. I’m sorry that you wasted your time coming down here for such a brief meeting.”
Ann got up to leave, but everybody else was still sitting down. She hadn’t even realized it, but Justin was laughing.
“I’m sorry, I missed what was funny. May I ask what you’re laughing at?” Ann implored.
“Well, Miss. Richard, I’m laughing at you, in all honesty. There is no way your business is going to last more than a year. I mean, can you imagine something more backward? A dating website being run by a woman who has never been married, let alone catch a date! It’s incredibly stupid for you to reject this offer. My company is offering you more than what your company is going to be worth in three months; I promise you. Why don’t you take the offer now and run with the money while you still can?”
Ann was furious. She had spent years building up this dating site, and it had been elected the number one most efficient dating site for three years in a row. There was no way possible that in three months, all of her hard work was going to be for nothing.
Justin had caused an uproar. Some of the men who worked for Ann pulled out their cellphones and started making phone calls while other men were shouting at each other from across the table. Ann buried her head in her hands as all the noise brought her back to the days of high school. Looking across the table, Ann saw Justin leaned back in his chair, smiling at the chaos he has just created.
“Enough!” Ann shouted at the men, incredibly overwhelmed with all of the noise.
