Extinction Page 25

by Carol Anne Davis

Brandon walked jauntily to the games room. He had nothing to lose by creating a towering inferno and lots of good, multicoloured memories to gain. He’d also be even more infamous than he was already, would never be forgotten. Smiling, he contemplated the carnage that he could cause for the rest of his life.

  Author’s Note

Many thanks to the police officer who answered my questions about the setting up of an incident room and the typical protocol in a murder inquiry. The hospital and bereavement centre and all of the characters in this novel are figments of my increasingly warped imagination.
