[The Shifters Committee 01.0] Time Shifters Page 34

by Rebecca Foxx

She felt her hips jolt at the touch, a moan escaping her passionate lips as he did this. He then slipped the panties off, replacing the now exposed area with his fingers as they slid in and out of her.

The feeling against his hands was unbelievable. He loved the way she seemed to melt against this body, the passionate and sensual moans that escaped over her. He continued to graze his fingers against the tip of it before he pulled out, licking the fingers in a wanton manner before he moved back, undoing his pants and slipping them off.

He fished a condom from his pants to slip over his aching member, feeling it pulsate against his hands as he readied himself. He then spread her legs, looking at her and asking for tacit consent. She nodded, her face inches from his.

“Give it to me. Please,” she breathed.

Hearing her say that in such a sexual way only ignited the fire within him. He pushed into her, loving the way that it seemed to completely and utterly take him all the way in. He loved how this felt, and there was just something about grabbing her ass, touching and teasing it, that made him excited.

He then started to push against it faster and faster, moving at a rapid pace. Of course she was a screaming mess under him, and he loved the way that this felt, his body wanting more and more from her. He continued to thrust in and out of her as fast as he could, not stopping until he finished.

And soon, he did. He moaned, feeling his cock tense up and release his hot seed. At that same moment, Keisha let out a small cry of pleasure, her body tensing up and then relaxing under his. He looked at her, and her chest was heaving p and down. She came as well, and for William, this was the perfect moment.

He loved how she looked, how she seemed to be at peace because of this. He pulled away, looking at her with a smile.

“Did you like that?” he asked.

“I did. It was simply amazing,” she replied with a gushing smile.

The way she looked at him did warm her heart, and soon, he felt the exhaustion of their actions take over his body. He was growing tired, and he wanted to relax.

“Let’s take a break. We can talk about this more in the morning,” he said.

They fell asleep, but little did they know that outside, a photographer was there on a rowboat. He held his digital camera in his hands, looking at the images that he had.

“Excellent, I definitely think that these pictures will sell. I can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s face, and I’m sure that it’s going to be something amazing,” he said.

He moved his boat back to the docks, thanking the owner of the boats for letting him come out to the lake. For William, he felt like he was in peace, and as he cuddled up to his black beauty, he knew that this was right in a sense.

Sure, he would probably cause a huge rift in his family, but at the same time, this whole thing felt amazing to him. Right now, the only thing he could think about was Keisha, how perfect this whole thing was, and how no matter what, nothing would be wrong between, them, and everything would be okay.

Of course, for William, there would be a rude awakening for him the next day, and soon, he would have to, along with Keisha, make the biggest and most radical decision the he’s ever had to make in his life.

  Chapter Four

Keisha woke up the next morning in a haze. She looked around, shock plastered on her face. She couldn’t believe that she was here, and that she was with William of all people. She felt his body against her thick curves, and suddenly, she felt a blush press over her face.

“Holy shit,” she muttered to herself. She realized immediately what had happened. She had sex with him last night, and for a moment, Keisha didn’t know what to do about this.

Would everything be okay? She didn’t know the implications of fucking a hot man like this were. After all, she hadn’t really been that sexually active as of late, at least not until now.

“Holy shit,” she muttered to herself.

Then, she felt William rouse next to her. Her face pinkened, trying to figure out what to say when he got up. Suddenly, his eyes were focused on her own, and the expression was blank.

  “What happened?” he asked her.

“I think we did it last night. But I’m not sure,” she replied.

He looked around, and then at her.

“Not bad,” he said with a smirk.

She immediately rolled her eyes. The last thing she wanted this to be was another notch on his bedpost. Of course, he seemed different from before.

“Am I what you expected?” she asked.

“Of course. That and much more,” he admitted. In all honesty, he really liked her, and Keisha seemed like the perfect type of woman for him.

“Thanks. I guess I’ll see you around though. Maybe next time,” she said.

“Yeah, totally next time. You’re really cool, and I would love to see you again,” he said.

She got up, and William drove her to the docks. They got their clothes on, and once they left, they stared at one another for a moment.

“I guess I’ll see you eventually,” he said. He slipped her his number, and for a moment, their fingers touched.

“Do you want to see me again?” she asked.

He didn’t need to be asked twice. With a diligent shake of his head, he quickly responded.

“But of course. I do want to see you again. I hope you get back safely,” he said.

The woman waved her hand goodbye, and for a moment, William felt ill at ease. What was he going to do now? He didn’t know what these feelings that came over him were, not at all.

His first thought after that was to get some food. He put his disguise on once again and headed over to the local café, but immediately, he noticed something fishy.

It was the papers. They were all gone. He looked around, and he noticed everyone seemed to have their eyes glued to them. Granted, this was a coffee shop and there wasn’t much else to do, but something about this seemed wrong, and that’s when it hit him.

“Holy shit,” he said to himself. On the cover was him, but Keisha was there too. It was last night, while they were making love, and the caption said “New Beau? Or Just Williams’ Temporary Flame?” He immediately dove for the last newspaper, reading it with horror on his face.

There were pictures of him kissing and touching Keisha, obviously cropped to avoid the naughty bits. But in the article it was saying how he found a new dark-skinned beau, and they wondered what his parent’s reaction to the newfound love might be.

His fingers shook with anger as he read the article.

“I can’t believe this,” he stated to himself.

He checked his phone. Twelve missed calls, all from his mother. There was a text message too, from Keisha. He read it, horror present on his face.

  Did you tip them off?

He couldn’t believe that she would even think that. He quickly told her no, and that they could meet up later. Of course, he had his mother to deal with as well. He knew this was an international call, and it would certainly be problematic. For William, this could cause his already tarnished status to become further muffed and muddied.

He dialed the number, and after a couple of minutes, he heard the practical growling on the other line.

“What the hell are you doing? Sleeping around, and with a woman of a different race, mind you? Do you have any idea what you’ve done?” she cried out.

“What are you talking about? Why does it matter?” he asked.

“well, you should know that you are in big trouble if you don’t end things with her immediately. You’re supposed to be our son, and we can’t have you fraternizing with commoners like that. It’s disgusting and uncouth,” she muttered.

He wanted to tell his mother off at that point. He didn’t take kindly to the woman that gave him birth calling the woman that he spent the night with “uncouth.”

“But why does it matter? I’m already the black sheep,” he said.

“Well, I told you before that you were a couple notches away fro
m being ousted forever. This is just what it takes. It’s your choice though. You can give up that life that you’re currently living, or you can just do what you’re doing and lose us. Your call though, and we’ll wait for your answer when you come back. But if you do agree to follow our rules, don’t expect any sorts of freedoms anymore. Only good men earn those, and you’re nothing but a dog,” she muttered over the phone.

William was this close to going off on her because of those words. Keisha wasn’t the equivalent of a dog, and he didn’t like that.

“I’ll talk to you later, mother,” he said.

“You better. We’ll be awaiting your answer,” she said.

He hung up, sighing. Guess he would have to meet with Keisha later.

They made plans to meet up where she works at around noon, so they could get lunch together. When he got there, he realized just how dilapidated the town was, and in his mind, he wondered if he should go through with this. Keisha came out, a small smile on her face but looking tired.

  “Hey there,” he said.

“Hey. So I guess this is it? Guess it’s time for you to tell me to buzz off. It was nice while it lasted,” she said.

“I never said that I would do something like that. But I did get a call from my mother. She’s not too happy about us,” he said.

“I’m not too happy about us either. I’m not a fan of being plastered all over the tabloids,” she replied.

“I know. Someone must’ve tipped off where I was. I didn’t mean for that to happen,” he said. He really didn’t, and now it was coming to bite him in the ass.

“We’ve got a problem, though. My coworkers already know about me, and they said to ditch you because you’re nothing but a dirty white man. What about your family, though?” she asked.

“Pretty much the same thing, but reversing the white man to a black woman,” he said.

She sighed. “I wish people would stop seeing everything as a race issue. Maybe I like white guys. Is that a problem?” she asked.

“About as much of a problem as me liking a black woman. Don’t let it get you down though,” he said.

She looked at him, curiosity plastered on her face. “Why not? It’s not going to work out anyways,” she said.

“Yes it will. I have a plan, and once I come back to the states, I’ll come see you again,” he said.

“You’re going to leave?” she asked.

“Yes. I know this isn’t conventional, but it’s for the best. I want to make you happy, and I don’t want to be held back because of some racial bullshit. I do care, and I want to be with you, and I want to prove to you that I’m not just some ignorant white guy who can’t take responsibility for himself,” he told her.

It took her by surprise to hear that, but she nodded.

“Okay. Just come back when you can. I’ll be here,” she said.

He nodded, stepping away. “Don’t worry, I’ll make everything right,” he told her with reassurance.

They parted ways, and for William, he knew this would be the hardest decision of his life. How was he going to tell his mom the truth? What would she say? The only thing that would tell him the answer to that though, was time itself.

  Chapter Five

William did what he needed to in New York, but then he went back. He knew securing the company was going to be hard, but he would have to prove his worth, and that he was doing what would make him happy.

He knew getting his parent’s blessing on something like this wasn’t going to be a walk in the park, but he was destined to make things right. He didn’t want this to hang over his head, not now, not ever.

He took the first flight back home, knowing what he needed to do. He needed to see his family, for he knew the feeling within him was right. Even though this would be a big gamble, and he could lose it all, he wanted to make sure that this would work for him.

He got back to his house about a half a day later, but instead of visiting his family right away, he went to his office. There was something that he needed there, and although he didn’t think this would completely win them over, it was worth a shot. He knew that with this came the responsibilities and the repercussions associated with it, and for William, he was going to take the responsibility he needed to.

He knew being with her wasn’t going to be easy, that’s for sure, but he could run a company without there being too much of a hassle if he made sure his ducks were in a row.

He grabbed the graphs and devised a plan for the future. Once he did that, he went back to his estate, and when he got there, he immediately entered. His mother was in the front room, glancing at him.

“Well, look who it is. The embarrassment to the family name,” she snapped.

“You can say that if you want, mom, but I have a plan for everything,” he told her. He knew this was going to be risky, hard to maneuver, and a bit dangerous, but it was a risk he was willing to take.

“Let’s wait till your father shows up, and then I’ll listen,” she said.

He sat in the small office where his parents met for meetings and about an hour later, his father appeared. He was a stately man, the guy who wanted to bestow the company to William when the time was right.

  “There you are,” he said.

“Hello father. I came to talk with you about the elephant in the room,” he said.

“Oh yes. So now you’re running around sleeping with black girls, getting caught by the paparazzi. What is wrong with you? You know that we have jasmine set up to be your wife when the time is right, but you’re still acting out,” he spat.

William looked at him with a glare, not ready for what would come next, but determined to make things right.

“You may say that, dad, but I’m not going to let you get away with this. I’m not going to let you bully me and tell me what to do,” he said to him.

“And how do you suppose you’ll do that? You’re supposed to run the company, and right now, you’re making this very hard on your mother and me. I don’t know if we should even give it to you,” he uttered.

“I want you to, dad. I want you to give me the company. I’m working to change, but I also want to have my own life. I know that you think the idea of a knighted man like me being with someone who was a commoner is wrong, but I can assure you that I have a plan. I will work on the company, and I will prove to you that I can still do it all even with a woman who isn’t what you considered conventional,” he said to his parents.

“Like I’ll believe that,” his mother spat.

“That’s enough Esme. I want to hear him out,” his father said. He turned directly to William, glancing at him.

“Are you sure you’re ready for the utter responsibility this will be on you?” he asked.

“Yes father. I am ready,” he replied.

He looked at his son once more, and then nodded.

“Well, you have been better about following company procedures as of late. Fine, I’ll give you a chance. But in terms of your relationship, keep it private for now, and when the time is right, then come forward. I’m just looking out for you, and the company,” he told his son.

He couldn’t believe it, his father was actually agreeing with him. He could see the rage on his mother’s face, but William would prove to them it would be okay.

“Thank you father. Both of you. I’ll make you proud,” he said.

“You better. Good luck,” his father replied.

William left, and after getting a couple major problems in the company sorted out, he took his private jet back to New York. He went to the place where he first met Keisha, and when he got there, he saw her outside smoking a cigarette.

  “Hey there,” he told her.

“Hey. So I’m guessing you heard the news? I got fired. All because I was with you. They don’t want a woman who is a white apologist in their place. I guess it was only a matter of time,” she said with a heavy heart.

“It’s okay. I actually wanted to talk with you about that. We can head to the
hotel I’m staying at if you like,” he offered.

She looked confused, but immediately nodded. He grasped her hand, taking her to a cab and having the man go to the hotel. When they got there, he took her to the penthouse suite, unlocking the door and leading her in.

They were alone, and for the first time ever, William was nervous.

“So, I talked with my parents,” he said with a blush.
