[The Shifters Committee 01.0] Time Shifters Page 139

by Rebecca Foxx

Lewis pushed further—all the way down my shaft without a second thought. His tongue seemed to be everywhere and hit all the right places to make me squirm and groan and grunt. It almost made me lose myself completely, as I felt the fur prickling up my spine and my claws continuing to grow sharper. In most cases, I would’ve held back, but with Lewis I didn’t feel the need to.

There was something about the cashier—the redhead that was bobbing up and down my shaft at that moment. Whenever I was around him I didn’t feel as though I needed to keep my icy guise up. I didn’t need to pretend anymore. Maybe it was his scent or maybe I was going soft. None of that mattered to me because it was just me and him—no one else.

When I managed to look down at him again, withstanding the pleasure shooting up my manhood and hitting me at my core, I signaled for him to look into my eyes. Without a second’s delay, we locked eyes again and my lust reflected it off of his desire. I couldn’t hold back—I had to do it and let the moment take me.

I reached down, ripped my cock out of his mouth, and pressed my lips to his for a sloppy, savory kiss. As my tongue invaded his mouth, twirling and dancing with his tongue into my mouth, I could taste myself on him, but there wasn’t enough to hide his own flavor. I pushed forward and he pushed back, climbing on top of me as he shed his jeans, landing atop me.

Growling, I reached around to put a hand at the back of his head, messing with his hair as he continued to push forward—almost as if he was challenging me. To my surprise, I heard the same growl echo from his throat into my mouth, making my cock bounce against his. My spare hand slipped between us to grasp our hard-ons, rubbing them against each other—mixing the dripping pre-cum as we kept our lips locked on the rough kiss.

What is it about you, Lewis? Your scent, your taste… You drive me crazy. I need to know if this will last, but… At my back, I felt an unfamiliar sensation. It felt as if claws were running up my back as more growls poured into my mouth. For a split second, I decided to break the kiss and Lewis rested his forehead against mine—the two of us trading exhausted pants.

He still tried to keep kissing me despite himself, and I could hardly resist letting him. “Wait… Wait…” I said in a belated breath in between pants.

“No, no… I want this… I want you,” Lewis growled in a dominant tone, rolling his hips to grind his cock against mine harder.

“Oh yeah? How much do you want me, big boy?” I couldn’t help challenging him back, a smirk wedged in the corner of my mouth.

My question was answered by a few dry chuckles as Lewis scooted off of me and then stood in front of me. He took a hold of his thick, pink member as it visibly drooled pre-cum. Just looking at it made my mouth water and without thinking I lunged for it.

Both of Lewis’s hands planted themselves at the back of my head, pulling and yanking my hair with aggressive affection. I closed my eyes, enjoying the salty—yet sweet—flavors dancing on my tongue as I took in more of him. In by inch I went and when I finally met his pubic hair with my nose, I could feel him shudder.

I was rewarded with some especially hard tugs and each time he did so, my cock bounced a little more in my hand. Involuntarily, my hips bucked into my hand—harder and harder as the passion of the moment took over me completely. My tongue swirled against his cock’s head and teased its underside as I pulled my mouth off of it and looked up at him, tapping the tip against my tongue.

Lewis looked down on me, a grin on his face even though it occasionally broke up as he moaned. I lapped up the slit and around his crown once before suckling the tip back into my mouth. “Ahh… Fuck yeah, Jared…” he grunted in a somewhat beastial tone. I tried not to pay mind to it and stay focused, getting back into a steady rhythm as I bobbed my head up and down his length once again.

From below, I reached out to take his balls into my hand—their great and heavy weights rolling on my palm. “Sh-shit… F-fuck, Jared… I think I’m gonna…!” shouted Lewis at the height of one of his moans as he arched his back, his hips moving in time with my head.

That’s it, big guy… Give it all to me… The hand on his balls squeezed a little harder, moving up and down as Lewis thrust forward, sending his entirety down my throat as spurt after spurt shot out. I tried to hold myself there for as long as possible, Lewis’s hands holding me until I managed to pull off from his cock—a few stray spurts landing on my face.

As I opened my eyes to look into Lewis’s I noted a distinct wolfish-ness to them, but I could hardly care. My orgasm that’d been building was finally hitting its climax—the salty sweet remnants of his seed still on my lips. “Ahhh… Fuck yes…!” I cried aloud, shooting a few healthy spurts into the air and hitting the front of my shirt.

My vision was blurry for a moment, as I took in my shallow, raggedy breaths, but Lewis looked down at me with a smile. The longer I looked at him, however, the more I noticed the strangeness of him. He smiled with sharp teeth and I knew I felt claws on my back. I opened my mouth to speak, but Lewis put a finger over them to say, “I knew we were meant to be mates, Jared.”

  Victor’s Secret

  One: Death

Death is not painful. It is not fast and it is not peaceful. Death is, in actual fact, excruciating. A battle between a body that intends to keep its soul and a soul that wants to be free of its fading body. Death is slow and merciless, and fortunately, I had already gone through it. Now, death was an irresistible aphrodisiac. It called to me, presented a beautiful melody I could not ignore.

I moaned when the thick, salty droplets hit the back of my throat, this one tasted of sunlight and dew drops mixed with fear of death. The weaker he became, the tastier he got and I knew I had to stop when it was getting too good. The pretty blonde fell onto my lap as I wiped my mouth, taking care to see if I had spilled anything on myself. I loved blood on my tongue and not on my clothes; that was just ruining good cloth.

The man moaned in pain again, reminding me to heal him. Making a small incision on my wrist with my nail, I put the droplets on my fingertip quickly before the cut healed. I always maintained extra care when giving my blood to humans, because as much as it could heal them, too much could and most probably would kill them. I brushed the hair from the nameless boy as he licked the blood greedily off my finger, the color quickly returning to his cheeks.

He looked about twenty four and I smiled as I thought of the last time I had worried about such trivial things as age.

“Viktor, we have a problem upstairs!” Jonathan burst into the room.

I looked away from the boy and at my assistant who was covered in blood, and it did not smell human.

  “What is it?”

“Hunters, they-” he did not finish his statement as blood pooled in his mouth and he dropped to the floor.

Behind him stood a tall man covered in blood, pointing a gun at me. I looked at him curiously as I pushed the now sleeping boy away from me, wondering what he thought a mere gun could do to me. I stood up slowly to really face him, and that’s when he fired the first bullet.

I growled in anger as I made my way to him, baring my fangs when the second bullet embedded itself in my skin. I had twisted his wrist and grabbed his throat by the time he tried to fire the third, and I would have snapped it too if it wasn’t from the sickening scent coming off of him.

I let go and took a step back, his eyes opening now to reveal the most intriguing shade of blue I had seen in my many centuries. And the longer I stared into them, the more purple they seemed instead of blue. We stood like that for what seemed like ages until his eyes suddenly rolled backwards and he fell into my arms.

I could hear the noise upstairs now, more vampires were coming in to attack the remaining hunters upstairs and if they found this one in my arms, he was dead too. And not the kind of dead I was, the screwed up eternal kin
d.

The decision was impulsive but it made sense to me; I had to get him out of here, and fast.

  Two: Life

After fleeing my own club like a criminal, I took the hunter to my brother’s place since it was closer. Spending any more time on the road was risking bumping into more hunters or unfriendly vampires. After the blood bath at my club, the latter would be looking for me to get answers. Why and how the hunters had gotten in in the first place and I was pretty sure the security team that could answer that was probably a pile of ash by now.

Seth’s apartment was empty when I got in, probably out for a quick hunt. I found the spare key he had given me necessary for the first time in months, and I was grateful for his foresight. The hunter remained still as I put him in my room, and if not for his pulse sounding in my ears, I would have thought him dead.

After making sure he was lying in what I hoped was a comfortable position on his back, I removed his combat boots and went to fetch some water in a basin. I bandaged his wrist before wiping his blood and ash covered face, revealing pale skin underneath, almost as pale as mine. He was warm too, and I reveled in touching his cheek for a while, enjoying his warmth.

His hair was long and wild about his face, making me give in to the urge to brush it away. The beautiful face that was behind the mop of hair was the most exquisite thing I has seen since… his own unique eyes. The feeling that gripped my heart was so overwhelming I had to distance myself from him.

What was the big deal? I had seen beautiful faces before, and none had ever held my interest like this, especially a human let alone a hunter! The man had not shaken as he aimed to shoot and kill me, regardless of his sinfully perfect features. I had to remember that. He stirred in his slumber and opened his beautiful eyes, which widened in panic when he saw me.

“Relax, I saved your life,” I tried, raising my hands to show I meant him no harm, at least not just yet.

He laughed humorlessly, “That’s rich coming from someone who literally sucks life out of innocent people!”

“And you deem yourself,” I waved my hand as if searching for the appropriate word, “innocent?”

He just stared at me as I walked towards him, enjoying the fear in his eyes as he tried to increase the distance between us.

“Even though you and your kind stormed my club and murdered my friends, putting many innocent human lives in danger?”

The hunter scoffed, “You cannot murder what is already dead.”

“And yet your job is to kill my kind. Would you not consider me alive then if you can still kill me?” I raised a brow.

“If you are going to kill me, just do it, don’t ask me stupid questions!”

I tilted my head as I studied him carefully, he was a peculiar creature. I had met many a hunter in my existence, but never one quite like him. For one, he was smaller than any hunter I had ever met. I could see he had a lean build under his t-shirt, he was not bulky like most hunters built like wrestlers.

He had no visible tattoos that I could I see, or piercings, and certainly no stained teeth or any missing. Hunters were generally a filthy lot, with a tough exterior to match their job ad appear menacing against the predators they hunted. I appreciated the look of this one though, and the stirring in my jeans was evidence enough of my appreciation.

There was not a single imperfection on the man, at least one that I could see, and besides his choice of profession of course. And if he did not dedicate his life to killing my kind, we would have been on my bed and naked by now. I heard the front door open and my brother call out, talking to the hunter would have to wait for now.

  Three: Hunter

"He is a what?!" Seth's voice reverberated in the entire house.

I had rushed to meet him downstairs before he saw the human, and explain the situation to him. He had heard what had happened at the club, and when he did not find me there, he had rushed to my home then his after failing to reach my phone. Telling him that he had been worried over someone busy rescuing a hunter, at least those were his words, had not gone down so well. Just as I had anticipated.

"Keep your voice down, will you," I winced at the echo still in my sensitive ears.

"I will do as I damn well please, it is my house after all! The house you brought a human to, and because it's you it just had to be complicated, right? Because no, a human wasn't enough, it had to be a hunter too! A fucking hunter, Viktor, a hunter! Do you know what hunters do?"

He stared at me as if I was an insolent child and I allowed him his moment. I would let him get back at me for all the times I had shouted at him when he did something stupid. And I envied his stupidity now because mine was too much, I was an imbecile with a death wish!

"Hunters, aka him; kill vampires, that is you and me! Unless we kill them first, as I am proposing we do now."

I placed my hand on his chest, knowing it would do nothing to hold him but he would respect the gesture. "No, brother. Hunter or not, the human lives, it is not our way."

Seth shook his head, "We do not kill when we feed, but we kill when threatened."

"The boy reeks of death, he poses no threat to us!" I reasoned.

"He and his buddies managed to kill many of our friends tonight, Viktor, he is not a harmless child! How did they manage to get in and fight all those vampires? Has it even occurred to you that wherever this hunter comes from, it is very dangerous? We are not dealing with some amateurs here, brother."

I sighed and nodded, I had thought of that. Even though it puzzled me why a gun was his weapon of choice, if they were such an accomplished group? And how had they managed to pull off an attack on the club, with all the security measures put into place? Something was definitely not adding up.

"We cannot kill him until I get some answers," I bargained, partly because I really needed to know and the other because I felt compelled to save his life.

Seth reluctantly nodded, "I agree, but I am not okay with you keeping your pet under my roof."

I smiled at that, "He is hardly a pet, come and I will introduce you."

Seth rolled his eyes and followed me to my room, baring his fangs as soon as he set eyes on the hunter.

  "Great, there's two of you?"

My smile was instantaneous as I looked at the fragile creature who was staring death in the face and still managed to have a smart mouth.

"You were right, he does reek of death," my brother grimaced, ignoring the human's quip.

The hunter frowned and I asked him softly, trying to establish some feeling of trust, "Your blood, it smells... off. What is wrong with you?"

"What do you mean my blood smells off, are you planning on draining me or something?" His eyes widened.

I shook my head, "The idea has never appealed to me, and certainly not with your blood smelling foul like that."

"It's not like I would know," he rolled his eyes, "I am human, if you remember what that means."

Seth growled, "Can I staple his mouth? Let's see how witty he will be after that."

I laughed, "I don't know, he kind of reminds me of you actually."

My brother snarled and I raised my hands in surrender, still laughing. The hunter just stared at us with a puzzled look on his face, and I knew what was going through his mind. He was wondering why he was still alive in a room with two vampires, with one laughing as if this was the most normal scenario in the world.

"What is your name?" my brother asked.

I had been too busy playing caretaker and forgot to even ask him his name! Although I doubted the feisty human would give my brother the answer he wanted.

"Colten," he answered, making me widen my eyes in surprise.

Colten. The name sounded like liquid gold to me, I liked it. It was beautiful, like the rest of him, and nothing could have suited him more. Seth startled me out of my thoughts and I found myself on the ground with his arm pressing against my throat.

"What are you doing?" I asked angrily, pushing him off me.

  "Me? What are
you doing? I can smell it all over you!"

  I frowned, "What?"

"Your arousal for this human! Seriously Viktor, why are you such a fool?"

I looked away in shame, but not before a quick glance at Colten who was looking at me like I was definitely mad.

"You disgust me," my brother growled, "are you even taking this serious-" he stopped mid-sentence and stepped toward me again, frowning, "what is that on your neck?"

My hand immediately went to my neck but I felt nothing. Seth shook his head and grabbed my arm, pulling me to the bathroom. There was a black spot on my neck, as if someone had put ash on me. I tried rubbing it off but quickly realized this was not residue ash on my skin, my skin was turning into ash! I quickly tore my shirt off and saw several smaller spots all over my chest and stomach, turning slightly to see my back and discovering the same. What the hell was happening to me?
