Josie picked up a tube of glue and handed it to Keegan. “Don’t worry, we’ll be at this all night.”
Keegan walked around to the table and looked at all the pieces. There were hundreds. Then she glanced over at the stone figure in the corner, motionless. Captain Smith, Atlas. He was cracked in multiple places, held together by thick seams of glue.
“You sure this is going to work?” Keegan asked.
Victor found two more pieces that fit together. A finger. As he glued them together, he glanced over at Atlas. “It worked on him once already.”
Keegan shrugged and started sifting through the bits and pieces of stone that used to be Jimmy Kane. “Glad we’ve got a month to do this.”
