Carol screamed and buried Martin’s face between her breasts, orgasm welling up and crashing through her body in waves. He capped those waves with white, grunting and jerking, dousing Carol’s womb with heated sperm. As the clock struck midnight, the pair of them were partaking of that special Christmas spirit.
She tried to snuggle in his arms afterwards, but he rolled away from her and onto his feet. ‘I’m afraid I have to ask you to leave. I’m expecting some visitors. A thank-you get-together.’
‘But-but I can give you so much more,’ Carol pleaded, rolling onto her side and displaying her body in a most lascivious manner. ‘And-and maybe you can give a poor, beautiful woman who came to your aid – made you come twice – some small portion of that gold you keep hidden about your house.’
She’d come out and said it, no other option available to her now. She lowered her eyes demurely, hiding the burning gleam of lust for flesh and metal.
A smile flickered briefly across Martin’s lips. ‘I have no gold. That’s merely an outdated rumour.’ He paused, noting the disbelief in Carol’s eyes. ‘You see, I used to worship a golden idol once – the money idol. But then something happened to me about this time a year ago, something that profoundly changed my outlook on life. Since then, I’ve given all of my excess money to charity, to help those truly in need. That’s why I live so frugally now.’
Carol’s body sagged with disappointment, as she saw that the man was telling the truth. ‘But I’m in need. I –’
‘I’ve already helped you out,’ Martin interrupted. ‘By not calling on the police.’
He gripped her elbow and lifted her off the bed. He let her dress before escorting her down the stairs and to the front door, and out into the snowy night. ‘A Merry Christmas to you, Carol. You’re a very resourceful woman. I’m sure you’ll have no trouble providing for yourself without my further assistance.’
She was about to protest one final time, when the door slammed shut in her face with a resounding thump. It was like the sound of a cold joint of mutton hitting someone on the head.
