Darius stared at him in disbelief and then the corners of his mouth began to twitch. “You really wanna be with me, boy?” He couldn’t seem to stop grinning. “Just the way we’ve been, even knowing it’s not needed anymore?”
Rhys nodded, then frowned, looking down. “Just you. No others.”
Darius stared at him a moment, an incredulous chuckle puffing from his lips. He didn’t expect his own resistance to the limitation, especially given his tendency toward possessiveness. But it had been hot, those days at the fort when he’d been directing the men who’d fucked Rhys.
“You sure about that?” He leaned in closer. “Might be different, doing it just because it feels good. Sure you don’t want me to be able to decide I want to pass you around, just because you’re mine and I can? To use other men as the cocks I fuck you with? Blindfold you, tie you down, then offer you up to anyone I want?”
Rhys’s eyes went a little dreamy and unfocused, and it seemed to take him a moment to remember how to make words. Finally, he whispered uncertainly, “Maybe someday.”
Darius smiled a lazy smile, shifting to grab Rhys’s shoulders and drag him closer. “It’s a deal.”
