Gay Paranormal Romance: Mpreg Box Set (MM Shifter Mpreg) (Gay Paranormal Fantasy Romance) Page 9

by Sy Walker

The large black wolf jumped into the back and he slammed the hatch shut, jumping back behind the wheel and tearing down the highway just as several wolves came lurching quickly from the nearby woods. Drew floored it, watching them lose ground behind him as he raced around the mountain road as fast as the lumbering vehicle could go. He feared even looking back at the beast in the back until he heard a voice.

“I guess this means I’m out of the club.”

Drew laughed, despite himself and finally glanced in the mirror to see Zebe hunkered down where the wolf had been, naked and sweaty. He tossed a weak smile back at him and slowed a little as Zebe climbed across the seats and sat down in the passenger seat beside him.

“Just driving around with a naked wolf man, nothing to see here, folks!” Drew said, feeling like he might be in a bit of shock. “There are some shorts and a tshirt in that duffle on the back seat if you want to get something on. They might be a bit tight, but it’s better than getting clocked by the cops for being nude in public if we get pulled over.

“I know this must be crazy for you. I should have told you. It’s just not something you blurt out; you know? I wanted to wait until we were closer and just show you, but things got out of hand pretty quickly,” Zebe told him, reaching for the bag and slipping the clothes on.

“What did they want with me? Why did they take me?”

“Let’s get somewhere safe and then we will talk about that. Turn right down here. There is an old hotel that has attached garages about five miles down. We can pull your vehicle in there so they won’t see it if they pass by and decide what to do from there.”

“This is all just so bizarre,” Drew mumbled.

“Of course it is to someone who didn’t grow up with it. I can understand that. Just know that I’m here with you and for you. I won’t ever let you go or let you down.”

  “We just met.”

“Perhaps so, but I felt the connection immediately and I believe you did, as well. There is a reason I didn’t hesitate to break the rules when I met you. I knew what could happen, but I don’t think I believed it until it did.”

“You put my life in danger knowingly?”

“No. Never. I didn’t expect them to find out like that or to react like that. They are my brothers. I thought they might ostracize me, ban me from the club, from the tribe, but I never expected them to take you or to try to kill us.”

“They didn’t try to kill me. They didn’t even try to hurt me. Granted, they could have been a bit more hospitable, but they weren’t cruel.”

“They weren’t cruel, yet. It was only a matter of time before they would have killed you and picked your bones clean as their next meal.”

  “You’re kidding, right?”

“Unfortunately, I’m not. Oh, turn in here. The hotel is a bit off the road, just down this road.”

Drew turned where he was told to and made his way toward an old hotel at the base of some mountains. It was called the Falling Stone Inn.

  “Falling Stone?”

“Yes, the mountains tend to shed a bit around here. That’s why they provide the garages with rooms, so people don’t sustain damage to their vehicles from the rocks that sometimes fall around the area.”

“You mean like a rock slide? Haven’t I been through enough today without being buried alive in stones?”

“Nothing quite that major. Just enough to make dents, not flatten the whole thing.”

  “Good to know.”

  “Let’s get checked in.”

The rooms were full except for a family style cabin that was situated a bit further down the road that ran past the hotel, but it had a garage to hide the SUV and so they took it, getting out of the lobby and holed up inside it as quickly as possible. Once they were safe, Zebe took Drew’s hands and pulled him to him, kissing him softly on the lips. Drew smiled and pulled away, unsure if he wanted to get any closer to this man, this animal.

“Okay. I guess I have a lot of explaining to do.”

  “Yes, just a bit.”

“First things first. Yes, the members of my motorcycle club are all wolf shifters. We come from a very old line that has been around for hundreds of years.”

“What will happen to you now?”

“I will have to leave here. They will tear me apart if they find me. I only survived back there because I did some good legwork and avoided the worst of them to give you time to get out. If you hadn’t stopped to pick me up, there is no doubt that the ones that were in pursuit would have caught me and finished the job.”

“And me? They said I was pregnant. I think they poisoned me. Look how big my belly has gotten. It will take days for this to subside.”

  “Ten days, actually.”

  “What?”

“They didn’t poison you or lie to you. Wolf shifters are forbidden to have sex with other men because we are capable of impregnating them. Those of us who are gay are forced to live out our lives alone. Children of gay shifters carry a special gene. One that gives their child a special mark and makes them more powerful than other shifters.”

  “What sort of mark?”

Zebe pulled the hair that hung loosely across his shoulders upward to reveal a silver streak of hair. It was the same as the one Drew had seen on the wolf he had become.

“That is why you were able to defeat so many of them and why they don’t want you to procreate. A second generation gay shifter would be even more powerful?”

“Exactly. It’s never happened before, so no one knows what will happen if I procreate. That is why they took you once they realized we had spent the night together. They wanted to watch you, to see if you were with cub. They fear what our son will be, what he can do?”

“How do you know it will be a son?”

“Pregnant males can only have male children.”

“And that will happen in ten days? Human gestation is like nine months!”

“The shifter blood ramps up your system, puts it into sort of a hyper speed. Full gestation will be ten days from conception.”

“I can’t possibly have a baby. How will it be born?”

  “Caesarean section.”

“No. No way. We have to do something. I can’t have a wolf baby from a one-night stand cut out of me like some sort of alien birth!”

“Drew, you have to trust me.”

“Trust you? I didn’t sign up to be on the run from wolves and having a litter of pups!”

“Not a litter, just one. I will take care of you. I promise. We will spend the night here and then leave at first light. Where would you like to go?”

  “Home!”

“I’m afraid we can’t do that. They will have checked your tag, some of them have ins at the police department. They will look for us there.”

“So, we are on the run with nothing but the clothes on our backs?”

“Pretty much. We will have to settle somewhere far away from here.”

“Are you serious? This is a nightmare.”

“Drew, this is beautiful. Tell me this. Did you ever want children?”

“Yes. I always wanted children, but I hadn’t planned on having them myself! This is all too much. Way too much!”

“It’s not too much. It’s perfect. Now, you are going to have the child you always wanted and what could be more beautiful than that? You have a man that will always love you and be by your side and a child that you brought into this world from your own body. I can tell you that I took this chance because I wanted a family of my own, on my terms. I could have married a woman and pretended, but that wouldn’t have brought anyone happiness. Can you honestly say that isn’t something you want? Don’t try to tell me that a part of you doesn’t desire this!”

Drew studied his handsome face for a moment and realized he was right. This was something he could have never dreamed of. There was a strong connection between the two of them. He couldn’t say that it was love, but it was definitely something very close to that if it wasn’t and he had no doub
t that it would turn to love in short order. Still, he hadn’t planned on giving up his entire life. Perhaps this was fates way of forcing his hand to make a choice he might not have made if given an option. Putting a hand on his growing belly, he smiled. A child. Their child.

“I do want it. Tell me what we must do. I’ll do whatever we have to in order to be safe, for our baby to be safe.”

They sat down and hashed out the details of their escape before climbing into bed. Zebe curled up around him, putting his large hands on the mound of his rapidly expanding waist. He kissed his neck and bit him gently on the neck as they enjoyed just being together again. It quickly turned to passion as Zebe’s hands roamed further down, between Drew’s leg to stroke his cock. Drew moaned against him, enjoying the ways his strong grip felt on his erection.

Pulling Drew toward him, he positioned him on his back, his head dipping down to take him inside his mouth as he moved above him and licked back and forth against the pulsating head of his cock. Drew could feel the blood rushing to the tip at every touch of Zebe’s rough tongue until he was like granite in his mouth. Zebe slid further down, taking more of him in his mouth until he was throbbing against the back of his throat.

His hands tangled in Zebe’s hair and pulled him downward onto him, fucking his mouth eagerly as he enjoyed the way he flicked his tongue along the sensitive veins down the back of his dick. It felt amazing as he slid in and out of his mouth, the sucking and licking getting sending him over the edge until he exploded down the back of Zebe’s gorgeous throat.

“You taste like heaven,” Zebe mumbled, raising upward and licking his lips as he smiled down at him. Rather than rolling away, he moved quietly up and down the length of Drew’s body, planting small kisses and nibbles all along his skin until he found himself somewhere between complete relaxation and bordering on arousal again. Zebe was aroused too, his huge cock sticky with precum as he put Drew on his hands and knees and tongued his ass, getting him nice and wet.

Drew’s hands clenched into the sheets as he let out a low grunt with Zeke’s cock pressed against the entrance of his anus. He moved his hips slowly from side to side and back a little more with each movement, letting Zeke slip into him further each time until his hard phallus was buried completely inside of him.

“I love how you feel inside, so tightly wrapped around my cock and yet, soft inside,” Zebe moaned as he began to slowly fuck him.

Drew moaned in a form of agreement, his coos filling the room around them as their lovemaking grew more aggressive. His hands reached for the iron rails of the old fashioned bed of their room as Zebe began fucking him hard and fast, burying every inch of his erection inside him over and over as they slammed into one another’s muscular frames.

“God, I’m coming,” Zebe groaned, burying himself fully inside Drew as he spewed his seed into him, grinding his cock forward as if to fill his belly with cum. Falling back, Zebe rested sideways on the bed as Drew climbed toward him and lay his head in the crook of his arm, his fat belly resting against his wolf lover’s side.”

“Will it come out looking like a boy or a wolf?” Drew asked quietly in the aftermath, his thoughts awhirl with all sorts of scenarios.

Zebe laughed and turned toward him, taking his face in his hands to kiss him. “I promise you that he will look just like a human baby boy is supposed to look. In fact, he won’t even know of his powers until he is in his early teens and then I will teach him all he needs to know. His only curiosity in his youth will be the mark in his hair, which is easily enough passed off as any other birth mark.

“I’ve never seen a birth mark in someone’s hair.”

“I have. I once knew a girl in my class who had a white streak down the center of her black hair. She looked like a skunk.”

“Oh, God. Our son won’t be a freak will he?”

“Hopefully, it will be no more pronounced than mine is, but if he looks like a skunk, I promise I will look the other way while you die his hair to match.”

  “Good to know.”

“I think we will be happy together, Drew. All three of us.”

  “I think you are right.”

  Epilogue:

Drew sat looking over the meadow behind the secluded cottage in the hills of Ireland. It was a long way from Kentucky, but he and Zebe had agreed that it was the best place for them to start over and start a new family without fear of what might become of them at the hands of Zebe’s club. The sun shined down brightly, a rare break from the usual rain and chill of spring, as Zebe and their son, Cole ran through it, their tails wagging as they gave chase to one another.

Here, Drew was just another artist that had decided to settle in the countryside of another country to devote himself to his sculpture. The wildlife he recreated for the locals was well received, especially his creations of the large wolves that seemed to fascinate his clients with their incredible detail. They often frequented the house, visiting with him, Zebe and Cole and sometimes, they marveled at the wolves that played in the back yard when Zebe and Cole were away on hunting trips. Drew watched as they tumbled around on the ground in a mock fight and sighed.

“You boys need to stop it and come get cleaned up for dinner,” he called, rising to make his way back into the house to set the table. He watched as the two wolves ran toward the enclosed porch, waiting until they were well within the shaded windows to resume their human forms. Zebe kissed him on the cheek as Cole bolted in between them with a laugh. He was getting to be a young man, a carbon copy of his father, silver streak and all.

  THE END

  SECRET OF THE WOLF

  Chapter 1

“Honey, have you seen my –”

Mack Johnson pushed the bedroom door open, hoping that Lance had been able to find his contacts. He had a big presentation to do at the office and didn’t want to go in without them. He’d thought they were in his desk, but had to run home when he realized that they weren’t.

What met his eyes when he opened the door was worse than anything he could have imagined. Lance was in their bed, bent over for another man. Someone Mack vaguely recognized from the bar they had been drinking in the night before.

“What the hell is this?!” Mack exclaimed, slamming the door shut on the scene. He could hear Lance scramble to retrieve clothes from the floor.

“It’s not what it looks like!” Lance cried, his voice muffled through the door.

“Like hell,” Mack grumbled, grabbing his car keys and heading out the door.

“Don’t leave; we can talk about this!” Lance was saying, struggling to open the door. His hands must have been slippery. Lubed up from his affair. Mack growled to himself and went outside, slamming the door behind him.

He climbed into the front seat of his luxury sports car and backed out of the driveway. In a way, the end of their relationship seemed fitting. Mack had been questioning the validity of his lifestyle for the past few months, realizing that he wasn’t as happy as he thought he should be. It seemed that he was living the dream; a successful man in the corporation he worked for, quickly moving up the ladder and rubbing elbows with the elite. He had a gorgeous car, a beautiful home on the coast and a boyfriend nobody could take their eyes off of. But the reality was that he’d never been more depressed in his life.

All day long he had to keep up appearances. He had to pretend he was thrilled to see people he barely tolerated, working for a company that didn’t line up with his personal moral values. They were going to be tearing down a forest in a conservation area in the Joshua Tree National Park, an area where Mack had spent many pleasurable childhood vacations. The spot the company was targeting had been set aside so that endangered wolves might have a chance to thrive again and increase their populations. But the plan he was supposed to propose was the most efficient way to wreck that for the wolves.

When Mack approached the exit he was supposed to take to work, he had a brief moment of contemplation before he passed it altogether. He pulled out his cell phone and dial
ed as he was halted for a traffic jam going the opposite direction from the company. His boss picked up, surprised that Mack’s number had shown up on his line.

“Hey, champ,” Eddie said to him, oozing the ass-kissing “team spirit” that Mack couldn’t stand. He was good at playing into it though, which was apparent by the way he had moved up so quickly.

“Hey…you know, I was thinking about the project and I decided it’s really fucked up what you plan to do with the conservation lands. I know this was supposed to be hush-hush, but I’m afraid I can’t let you do that. My next call will be to the newspaper. You can’t do this. Got me, champ? I quit.”

The line was quiet and Mack hung up the phone, feeling better than he had in years. Maybe this was what he had needed all along. A sign to wake up and do something about the life he was living and couldn’t stand. He was going to make sure that he was living for himself from now on. No more settling.

  Chapter 2

The gravel crackled under his tires as Mack pulled into Joshua Tree National Park. It was a place he remembered fondly from his childhood, before his life had been complicated by dreams of his ideal life in LA. While he’d been able to make those dreams a reality, it hadn’t been quite the experience he had been hoping for. He felt emptier than he had in years and didn’t know where he had gone wrong.

On the way, he had stopped at a sporting goods store and bought everything he would need to sleep under the stars. While he was at it, he had cancelled Lance’s credit cards and withdrawn everything he’d contributed to their joint savings account. Lance was just a pretty face. He would make money here and there doing modeling, but Mack had been the real breadwinner. He would send someone by to sell the house later, and kick Lance out while he was at it. Even pretty boys had consequences for being louses.
