Next to Never: Shattered Innocence Trilogy Page 20

by Long, A. L.

Rade placed his hands under Dylan’s arms and lifted her to her feet, firmly turning her so she was now facing the shower wall. “Place your hands on the wall, Sweetness. I want my cock inside you when I come.” Guiding his cock inside her, he thrust hard into her. He could hear her moans of pleasure. “That’s it, baby, push back, let your body take me.” Rade wanted to be deep inside her, but he didn’t want to hurt her. He wanted her to be in control of how much she was able to take. “God, baby, you feel so good. I can’t wait until I am fully inside you.”

Running his hand along Dylan’s stomach as she moved her hips back and forth to deepen his penetration, he felt the onset of his release. Pulling her closer, he glided his hand further down her body until his fingers gently stimulated her clit. When her movements became more aggressive, his grip tightened on her hip, inflicting more friction on her clit. “I want us to come together, Sweetness. Tell me when you’re close?” Dylan began panting and moaning uncontrollably. Rade knew she was close. “Oh God.” With those two words Rade exploded inside with such force he caused red marks to appear where he tightly gripped her hips.

Rade and Dylan were finally able to finish their shower. Getting out first, Rade quickly grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist. Taking another towel, he began drying her, paying special attention to her breasts and her pubic area, not because they needed extra drying, but because those were his favorite parts. When he walked behind her to dry her back, he could see a hint of bruising forming where he gripped her so strongly. Even though their fucking was intense, he hadn’t meant to hurt her. Looking at her reddened wrists, he opened the medicine cabinet located behind one of the large mirrors and took a bottle out. Squeezing a small portion in his palm, he looked directly in Dylan’s eyes. “This will help with the redness. It will also take the burning away.

Rubbing the ointment on Dylan’s wrist, Rade was overcome by how delicate Dylan really was.

“Rade, can I ask you something?” Dylan asked with a timid softness to her voice.

“You can ask me anything you want, Sweetness.”

“Why do you need to show me what goes on at The Castle? Why can’t you just take me there?” Dylan asked, not understanding what the big deal was.

Rade looked up with concern. He wanted her to understand that a submissive giving control over to her dominant was not just about inflicting pain, but it was about pleasure and trust. “Because, I need to know that you can give me total control over your body. That you can trust me to give you the pleasure and pain that your body craves. I need to be sure when we enter those doors, you will be ready to submit to me; because once you enter there is no turning back.”

Dylan was trying to understand what he was saying to her. Even though he lied to her about the apartment and her employment with Northgate, she felt she could trust him with this. She knew he wouldn’t physically hurt her. She didn’t know anything about this lifestyle, but she trusted him to show her. “Okay, I’ll trust you, Rade.”

Rade lost his battle trying to convince Dylan to stay the night. Even though what he did to her was the hottest thing she experienced, she needed to keep her feelings for him under control. The last thing she wanted was to reveal her true feelings for him. As long as she distanced herself, she could prevent her heart from being broken. At least, that’s what she was going to keep telling herself.

Despite her unwillingness to stay the night, Rade refused to let her take a taxi home. Tonight was as good time as any to give her the car he purchased for her. “Before you leave, Dylan, there’s something I want you to have.” Rade quickly slipped into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt while Dylan got herself dressed. She wasn’t sure what he wanted her to have so she didn’t say anything. Fully dressed, Rade led Dylan to the foyer, grabbing her coat and purse before entering the elevator. Stopping at the ground floor, Rade escorted Dylan out of the elevator with his hand pressed lightly on her lower back. Being directed to Rade’s parking spots, Dylan could see an unfamiliar car parked next to his Aston Martin. Gawking at the expensive-looking car, it finally dawned on her that Rade purchased her a new car.

Taking a step back from him, she retaliated. “Oh no. If what I think you are about to show me is a car, there is no way I can accept.”

Rade wasn’t going to let Dylan argue this time. “Here’s the deal, Dylan. If you don’t accept the car, then Richard will continue to pick you up and take you wherever you need to go.”

Rade looked at Dylan with victory in his eyes. Dylan knew she had no choice. Either she accepted the car and was able to move about without Rade knowing her destination, or she refused the car and had Richard report her whereabouts to Rade.

“Okay, I’ll accept the car on one condition. You let me pay you back.” Dylan held her hand out as if to shake on the deal, but Rade wanted to seal the deal with a kiss instead. He took her hand and pulled her closer to him and planted a kiss on her lips. She tried to resist his advance, but she knew it was a lost cause. His hold on her was too strong. It didn’t matter how he touched her, she would never be able to refuse him.

Dylan wasn’t sure what Rade had up his sleeve, but she knew he had another motive. She had a funny feeling he wasn’t just going to accept her request to pay him back. With reluctance, she took the key from him and walked over to the car. She had to admit the car was beautiful. It was black and very sleek, with dark tinted windows. She pushed the key fob and opened the door. She just about fell over when she saw the inside. The interior was all black with silver trim. The seats were leather with electric buttons on the side, allowing the driver to adjust it as they wanted. There was also a navigation system and a top of the line sound system. Rade had spared no expense when he purchased this car. It was going to take a very, very long time for her to pay him back. That’s if he would even accept her money.

  CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

As Dylan drove her new car, she couldn’t help but notice how wonderful the car felt. It drove like a dream. No wonder people with money purchased only the very best. Her old car was no comparison to this one. It was like comparing ground beef to filet mignon. Arriving at her apartment building, after she took the long way, she searched for her parking spot. She hadn’t been in the parking garage since she didn’t own a car. She was excited to see that her parking spot was right next to the garage elevators. This made it convenient for her, but it also made her feel safe knowing she didn’t have to walk the length of the garage to get to her vehicle. Maybe she saw too many movies where the girl was attacked while making the long walk to her car.

Making sure her new car was locked, she walked over to the garage elevator and swiped her key card. The elevator doors opened. On the inside stood a man, a little older than her from what she could see. He was wearing a blue suit with a crisp white shirt. He was very handsome, with blond hair that barely touched his collar and baby blue eyes. Dylan didn't run into many tenants, but she would’ve remembered running into him. Once the elevator stopped at his floor, she stepped to the side to give him room to exit, but he didn’t move. It was evident he wasn’t getting off, which seemed strange to her. Facing forward, staring at the steel doors, the man behind her said, “I hate when someone pushes the wrong button.”

Dylan looked over her shoulder. “Yeah, I hate that too.”

The guy reached over her shoulder and introduced himself. “Hi, my name is Evan.”

Dylan turned to shake his hand. “Hi, I’m Dylan.”

The man shook her hand. “Nice to meet you, Dylan.” He released her hand and continued their conversation. “So have you lived in the building long?’

Dylan looked at him with a smile. “I… actually, just moved in about a week ago. How about you?”

Evan looked back at Dylan. As her eyes met his, she noticed how welcoming his blue eyes were. Like a beach on a sunny day. “I’ve been here for about a year now.”

When the elevator stopped on her floor, Dylan held out her arm to hold the door open. “Well, this is me. It was
nice meeting you, Evan. Maybe we’ll see each other again.” Exiting the elevator, Dylan gave Evan a quick wave before the door closed.

When she got to her apartment, she noticed Evan walking down the hallway. She thought it was weird that he didn’t say anything about living on the same floor. Placing her key card in the slot, she turned her head and saw Evan entering his own apartment a couple doors down from hers. She guessed that made them neighbors. She smiled to herself as she turned the door handle until the door opened for her. It was going to be nice knowing someone in the same building. Just in case she needed to borrow a cup of sugar or something.

Even though it was late, Dylan was wired. Thoughts about her night with Rade were taking up residence in her mind. She needed something to unwind. Heading to her kitchen, she pulled a bottle of red wine from her cabinet and poured a generous portion into a glass. With her wine in hand, she went to her bedroom to change into her pajamas. Settling into her bed, she grabbed her book from the nightstand. Before she could finish her wine, she fell into a deep sleep. Reading always did that to her.

Waking up the next morning, Dylan’s body ached. She knew it was because of the intimate night she and Rade shared. With her aching muscles, she walked over to her bathroom to get some pain reliever. Glancing back at the clock, she decided a thirty-minute soak was in order to ease her sore muscles. Removing her clothing, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. She wondered what it was Rade saw in her. She was nothing like the women pictured with him on the Internet. Where they were beautiful, glamorous, and refined, she was natural, wholesome, and plain. She had no problem attracting guys. It was just not guys like Rade Matheson.

Moving away from the vanity, Dylan turned the faucet on in the tub and checked the heat of the water. Removing her pajamas and her panties, she slipped into the soothing water. Every muscle started to relax. Taking her body wash and her sponge, she began washing her body. Closing her eyes, she thought about Rade. Why was this man consuming every minute of her existence? Rubbing her body with the soapy sponge, she lowered her hand to her pelvic area. Dropping the sponge to the tub floor, she began touching her body, picturing Rade’s hands on her. Gliding his hand to her breast, caressing her nipple between his fingers as he gently squeezed it. With his other hand parting her folds, he gently pushed one finger inside her wet opening. Wading in her own thoughts, she pictured Rade kissing and touching her body. Kissing and sucking as his tongue danced on her clit. Plunging another finger inside her, she felt it as though Rade’s beautiful cock was thrusting in and out. Her moans escaped as she approached her release. Seeing only him, she lowered her hand from her breast and rubbed her clit to the rhythm of her fingers teasing inside her. Exploding with violent emotion and emptiness, her tears began to fall. How would she ever be able to deny her feelings for this man? She was falling in love with him. How would she be able to stop her heart from breaking?

When Dylan got to her office, she was the first one there. Looking at her watch, it was only 6:45 a.m. It was a perfect time for her to get some work done without having to be interrupted. Setting her coat over her chair and her purse in her drawer, she booted up her computer. She was working so diligently, she didn’t realize how much time had flown by. Dylan heard Veronica and Alex talking in the hallway, which signaled their arrival. Taking a few moments, she peeked her head out of her office door and greeted them. “Good morning, you two.” Veronica looked over to her. “You’re here early.” Dylan walked closer to the two with a happy grin on her face. “Yeah, I wanted to get an early start.” Veronica went to her office while Alex and Dylan walked together to the break room.

While making a pot of coffee, Alex said to Dylan, “I haven’t been able to talk to you too much, Chica. I just wanted to tell you, I had no idea you didn’t know Mr. Matheson owns Northgate.”

Dylan turned toward Alex with a look of sympathy. “I know. It’s okay, Alex.” Dylan knew Alex felt bad about not knowing. She didn’t blame him for telling her.

Dylan was back to work at her computer when there was a knock at her door. “Come in.” A delivery man holding a vase of long stemmed roses appeared. He was also carrying a small box. “Are you Dylan Adams?” Dylan stood up to greet the courier. “I am.”

“These are for you. I just need you to sign for them.” Taking the clipboard, Dylan signed for the delivery as the courier placed the vase and the small box on the table by her sofa. The gentleman bowed his head with “thanks” as he gathered his clipboard and left her office. Dylan took in the scent of the beautiful bouquet. There wasn’t a card, so she took the box and began opening it. Inside was a little silver egg. It felt smooth and cold in her hand. Searching the box, she found a note.

  Sweetness,

I hope you enjoy the flowers as much as I enjoyed our evening together.

You will find I have also sent you a little something to wear. You are to wear it all day and think of me. I hope it won’t be too uncomfortable inside you. Remember, you’re not allowed to touch yourself once you have inserted it.

I‘ll meet you downstairs at 5:30 p.m. Don’t be late, otherwise there will be consequences.

Richard will make sure your car gets home safely.

What the hell!!! Dylan knew it had to be a test. She wanted to prove to Rade she would be able to follow instructions without arguing. She took the shiny egg and headed to the bathroom. She didn’t know what to expect once it was inserted. She could only imagine. Entering the bathroom, she locked herself in one of the stalls. Slowly, she lowered her panties so she could insert the device. Having a hard time, she changed her position. Lifting her leg, she rested her foot on the rim of the toilet seat, giving her better access to her opening. Taking the small egg, she gently began working it inside her. When she felt it was secure, she pulled up her panties. Washing her hands and checking her appearance, she exited the bathroom. Every step she took, she could feel the egg moving within her. The stimulation was beginning to have an effect on her. There was no way she would be able to wear it all day unless she made minimal movements. She thought it best to forgo lunch.

Dylan needed it to be 5:30 p.m. so she could meet with Rade and remove the devise driving her crazy with pleasure. “If I just walked to the restroom and relieved myself just a little, how would he know I touched myself?” With no hesitation, Dylan walked gingerly to the restroom. She couldn’t stand the torment any longer. She needed to come. Barely making it to the ladies room, she locked herself in one of the stalls, pulled down her lacy panties and sat on the toilet seat. Slowly moving her hand between her legs, she eagerly rubbed her middle finger between her folds. Close to freeing the built up pressure inside her, her cell phone began ringing. “Shit, shit, shit.” Looking at the screen, she saw it was Rade calling her. With her other hand, she picked up her phone she had placed on the paper dispenser. “Hello.”

Rade could hear something different in her voice, like her breathing was strained. “You sound like you’re out of breath, Sweetness. You aren’t defying my request, are you?”

Dylan knew she had been caught. To avoid having Rade angry at her, she lied. “I… I was moving a heavy box when you called.”

Rade was pretty sure she was deceiving him, but he went along with her explanation anyway. “I just wanted to make sure you received my little gift and remind you to be ready at 5:30 for me.”

Dylan took in a sigh of relief. “Yes. I’ll be ready. Gotta go.”

Dylan took a deep breath, knowing how close she was to getting caught. With her desire to climax gone, she pulled her panties back up and exited the bathroom stall. Looking in the mirror, she could see her cheeks were flushed. Turning on the faucet, she splashed some cold water on her face, hoping to alleviate her transgression. She smoothed down her skirt and headed back to her desk, feeling her arousal heightened with every step. She was going to get back at Rade for this one.

It was close to 5:30 p.m., and the last thing she wanted was to be late
. Logging off her computer, she grabbed her coat and purse and headed to the restroom one last time to check her appearance. Satisfied with how she looked, she left the bathroom and headed to the lobby. Rade was right on time and so was she. He barely pulled up when she got to the lobby. Rade was just circling the front of his car as Dylan stepped from the building onto the sidewalk. He took her in his arms and softly kissed her forehead.

“How was your day, Sweetness? I hope it wasn’t too unpleasant.” Dylan looked up at Rade with a flustered look.

“Did he really just say that?” Dylan didn’t want to show Rade that his little gift made her unfulfilled all day. “Not too eventful,” Dylan said as she turned to enter the car. She could see the smirk of victory on his face. He could read her so well.

Rade pulled up to a small Italian restaurant. Dylan recognized the name, Russo’s. It was the same place Rade ordered takeout from. Dylan knew the food was amazing. Rade parked the Aston Martin and assisted Dylan out of the car. When they got to the entrance door, they were greeted by a young man directing them to their seat. As soon as they were seated, Rade told the young man to bring a bottle of their best Pinot Noir and wait a few minutes before sending the waiter to take their order. When the wine came, Rade held the cork to his nose as the host poured a small amount in a glass. Dylan wasn’t a wine connoisseur, but she knew the aroma, the clarity, and the taste of the wine determined the rating. If the wine was acceptable, then a full glass would be poured. The wine must have passed the test, because Rade lifted his glass signaling the host to fill the glass before he set it down.
