Dream Storm Online Page 7

“I can help you,” he said. “But I can’t leave here until I finish helping the Magicians Alliance. And one of their quests requires me to find a mammoth’s tusk”.

“We seem to be at quite the impasse, don’t we?” said the merchant. He spat as he spoke and Henry watched as tiny spatters of saliva covered the ingredients of the stall.

“It’s up to you,” said Henry. “But if I have to go and buy a tusk from somewhere else, your goods won’t be delivered. I’ll be finished here in a couple of days, so could deliver your shipment before the weekend. That’s the best I can do”. The man was revolting and Henry just wanted to get away. He was beginning to think fighting a mammoth would have been a better choice.

The merchant studied Henry carefully. Henry hoped to god he would give in so that he could leave.

“Show me your Stormcom,” said the merchant.

Henry did as requested, making a mental note to wash himself the second he could.

“I’m going to enter this as a quest. You can have the tusk, but this quest has a 5 day deadline. If you fail to complete it in time, I will receive all of the gold you earn until you pay me back. Is that understood?”

Henry hadn’t expected this, but seeing as he had no plan to rip the merchant off anyway, the request was fine by him. He nodded his agreement and deposited the tusk into his Stormcom device, noticing the quest updates he’d received as he did so. The collection quests were all telling him to head back to the alchemy room, but before doing so, Henry decided to speak to Tinara and get himself a room. Having done this a few times in the game in the real world, it wouldn’t take long and he’d have a safe place he could retreat to should something happen. Henry hadn’t exactly noticed anyone following him while he searched for ingredients, but he didn’t feel comfortable either.

Henry thanked the merchant and clicked on the new quest. He found the map marker led him straight back to the Magicians Alliance as expected. He was just heading up the stairs when he saw Arabella running down them, the anger in her face clearly evident. He caught her eye for a second, but she brushed past him, almost pushing him over. “Oi,” Henry shouted. “Watch where you’re going!”

As Henry struggled to regain his balance, he noticed the other witches and wizards staring at him, not quite sure how to respond to his outspokenness. His mind still on Arabella, he turned and watched her as she reached the bottom of the steps and ran through the crowded marketplace. He lost sight of her in the crowds, but he knew something was wrong. It had to be related to Nellie and Sara, and possibly even him now. He was sure of it.

Upon reaching the large wooden door at the top of the steps, Henry opened it and quickly ran inside. His heart was beating quickly and although he felt safe within the monastery, he knew he needed to get out of Eelry and fast. Henry checked the quest marker and followed it up a new set of stairs, breathing heavily. The Magicians here must be taking stamina potions daily, he thought. He’d never done so much exercise in his life.

At the top of the stairs, Henry spied a small reception desk, Tinara standing behind it. It was the first time he’d seen another orc since he arrived.

“Hello, I was told to see you about getting a room here”.

“Name?” the orc asked, an abrupt tone to her voice.

Why is everyone here so god damn rude? “Henry”.

  “Occupation?”

  “Adventurer”.

“And who is sponsoring you for the room?”

Henry didn’t know. “Err, Lily?” he said, hoping that was the correct answer.

Tinara grabbed one of the keys from the wall behind her and passed it to Henry. “Last room on the left. It’s yours until you switch alliances. Do anything that casts a bad light upon the Magicians Alliance and you’ll lose your room as well as any privileges you have earned”.

  “Understood”.

Henry took the key and walked down the small corridor. There were dozens of doors up here, and he hadn’t realised quite how large the monastery was. As he put the key into the door, he saw the quest update to ‘pending completion’. As soon as he orgasmed, he knew he’d level up.

Upon entering the room, Henry checked out his surroundings. There was a small single bed in the corner of the room, covered with a red duvet and gold cushions. At the end of the room was a long, thin window which let in a steady stream of light, somehow managing to keep the room warm. A small fireplace was located opposite his bed, and just under the window was a large oak desk with a chair. Henry sat down, tired from the long trek.

Exhausted and pissed off, Henry was in need of a release. He unbuttoned his trousers, letting them fall to his ankles, and took his large orc cock between his hands. Not needing to pee in the game, this was the first time he’d touched his own cock. He’d never touched one this size before and he found it weird at first, almost as though it wasn’t his.

With Lily in his thoughts, Henry pushed past the weirdness. He held his cock hard and rigorously moved his hand up and down, up and down. At times he let his fingers touch the tip, enjoying the heightened sensitivity with every stroke. He didn’t quite have the skills that Lily had, but his need was urgent, and it didn’t take him long to find his release. With a loud grunt, he came, letting globules of cum drop onto his legs and the wooden floor beneath him. Anger still made him horny it seemed.

Henry sat still for a second, basking in the glow of his orgasm. At least this was one thing that hadn’t been changed between the real world and the gaming one. As the words ‘Level 9 achieved’ flashed in front of his face, Henry was pleased. Only one skill point had been issued this time and he placed it into his necromancy skill line. The skill would enable him to raise dead bodies to fight for him for two minutes. With practice, he could increase this time.

Still sitting in his desk chair, Henry idly flicked through his Stormcom, surveying the skills he had learned. He was making quick progress as a mage, as Nellie had said he would, and now had open skill lines in restoration magic, frost magic, flame magic, shock magic, and necromancy. If he focused on improving those, he should be quite proficient when it came to fighting. Plus, although he hadn’t originally wanted to be a mage, he did think an orc necromancer sounded cool.

Henry picked up a tissue from the box on his desk and wiped himself up. He also cleaned up the mess on the floor, depositing the dirty tissues in the bin. Covered in orange, he couldn’t help but laugh at the state of them. With no time for a shower, he pulled his trousers back up and left the room. He needed to see Lily.

The corridors of the monastery were quieter than they had been when Henry first arrived, and it didn’t take him long to reach the alchemy room. He knocked on the door and entered, embracing Lily tightly.

  “Did you find everything?”

Henry smiled and deposited the items on her desk.

“You’re amazing, thank you so much!”

Henry noticed the five quests Lily had given him updated to ‘pending completion’, and he knew he’d be level 14 by the end of the day. The Thornforest quest would take him to level 15, so he only needed to gain five more levels to find out more about what was happening. Maybe Lily would have some more quests for him.

“Can I help you with anything else?” Henry asked Lily.

“No sweetie, not just now. Esmeralda stopped by and I am so busy I can hardly think. I’m really sorry, but I don’t have much time to teach you this afternoon, and I need all of the ingredients for the visit at the end of the week”.

Henry dropped his head, forlorn. “Will I still get to see you later?” he asked.

“Yes, of course. I’m going to work as quickly as I can and I promise you, we’ll meet. Just let me know where”.

“Do you know the stream where I collected water from? We can meet out there at say 7pm?”

“I’ll be there,” said Lily, rushing past him to collect some weird looking black leaves.

“Do you want me to wait and escort you there?” Henry asked, not
quite wanting to leave. Despite her mood, Lily was still the most beautiful elf he had ever seen.

“No, I have a horse. Please Henry, trust me, I’ll see you tonight”.

Lily gave Henry a peck on the cheek and went back to her work. Her tone made it clear that he wasn’t wanted, so he left.

  15

Although not being able to see Lily for more than a couple of minutes had saddened Henry, he knew he would get to talk to her tonight. There was no point trying to explain everything when she was busy. She wouldn’t be listening to him properly and he needed her full attention in order to get her advice. Rather than sit around the monastery moping, he headed to the marketplace, picking up a nice picnic blanket, some chicken stew and bread, and a nice bottle of red wine. The merchant had said it had been made from the blood of goblins, but the sample he’d given him to try had tasted nice.

With the picnic blanket, food and wine in hand, Henry made his way back out of the town. He stopped briefly to leave his horse with Rizon at the stables. This was more to see if Rizon had anything new to tell him than anything else, but he just spoke to him like a normal adventurer, so Henry played the part he’d been destined to play and walked out of the town.

The walk to the stream took around forty minutes, and the sun was low in the sky when he arrived. The overnight rain was a distant memory, and the grass was dry, enabling Henry to lay the picnic blanket down with ease. He stowed the food and the wine in his Stormcom, opting to keep them at a good temperature until he saw Lily appear.

Out of the town, Henry was able to think properly again, and he lay on his back, thinking about everything he’d heard during the day. He felt really overwhelmed and was desperate to talk to Lily, to try and gain her perspective. Why did he have to meet her when she had so much to be getting on with for the Alliance? He hadn’t exactly been patient in the real world, but in here everything seemed so claustrophobic and he was beginning to hate it.

As the sun dipped beneath the trees, Henry heard the clobber of a horse’s heels. He looked up to see Lily riding over on a pearly white horse, her long auburn hair flowing behind her. He felt his cock twitch, and instinctively covered it with his hand. They had things to discuss before they could fuck, and Henry wanted Lily to know how much he liked her too. He didn’t want her thinking he only wanted her for her body (or her ability to help him level up).

As Lily drew closer still, Henry stood up to greet her. He watched as she dismounted from her horse and tied it to a tree. She stroked its mane lightly before walking over to him.

Henry drew her into a tight embrace, enjoying the rose scent of her hair, and the warmth of her skin. “Please, sit down,” he told her, showing her the blanket. “I thought it would be nice for us to get to know each other a bit”.

Lily beamed and joined Henry on the picnic blanket. He retrieved the chicken stew and wine from his Stormcom and served it. He hoped Lily would be impressed.

“Wow, this… when did you do all this?”

“Just this afternoon while you were busy. I figured you wouldn’t have had time for food, and I wanted to show my appreciation for everything you did for me today”.

“No-one has ever done anything like this for me before”.

Henry thought he saw a tear fall from Lily’s eye; he hoped it was a happy tear. Not wanting to ruin the moment just yet, he asked her more about her day and about the event happening at the end of the week. Lily told him about how Esmeralda had appeared not long after he’d left and given her a list of extra potions she needed to make quickly. She’d tried explaining that she was on her own, but Esmeralda hadn’t cared; this had made Henry angry. At the end of the week, the Magicians Alliance was welcoming Flinn Searcy, the most renowned conjurer in all of Stormshire. Lily doubted the Alliance needed to go to as much effort as they had been, but she had no choice but to do as instructed.

Henry listened attentively as Lily spoke. He hung onto her every word and desperately tried to think of a solution to her woes. He wanted to help her just as much as she had helped him. But everything he suggested was rebuffed. He wasn’t skilled enough yet to help her in the way she needed, and Esmeralda would kick her out of the Alliance if she failed to deliver what was expected of her.

“It’s so nice to have something to look forward to at the end of my day,” Lily told him, gesturing at the food and drink in front of them. “I think I’ll be able to get through this week if I have you waiting for me when I leave the lab”.

“I’ll be here,” Henry replied. He leaned in and gave her another peck on the cheek, making her blush.

Once they had finished eating, Lily opened her bag and presented a couple of stamina potions. “These are what I was working on earlier,” she said. “I think we might need them tonight”.

Henry smiled as excitement ran through his body. But first, they needed to talk.

“Can I trust you?” he asked, not quite sure how else to broach the subject.

“What kind of question is that?” Lily asked, somewhat affronted.

“I don’t mean it in a bad way,” said Henry. “It’s just, I’ve noticed some really strange things going on in Eelry, and I’d like to hear what you think. But it’s really hard for me to discuss and I don’t want to say anything that might put you in danger”.

“Is this about that woman that showed up at the monastery earlier? The inn woman?”

“Yes and no. I mean it might be, I’m not too sure”.

“Well, you can trust me Henry. I’ve only known you a few hours, but I feel something different with you. It’s hard to explain, but I think you feel it too?”

“I do,” Henry replied. He held her hand again and kissed her passionately. Henry felt his cock twitch, desperate for the release it had been promised, but he couldn’t do anything yet. If he fucked her, he’d lose himself to her and all rational thought would go out the window. “Do you remember where you were before you were an alchemist?” he said.

Lily looked thoughtful. Henry didn’t want to press her too strongly, but he had to know. She looked at him, and he felt her stare reach right through to his soul. She knew, she had to. Lily looked around her, trying to see if anyone could see them, but they were alone… or at least as alone as they could be in a role playing game. “I was an adventurer,” she said finally.

Henry felt his heart skip a beat. “And you didn’t manage to get out?” he asked gently.

“No,” she replied. “I died not far from here. I expected to re-spawn, but I didn’t. Everything went dark, and when I woke up, I was in the lab where you first met me earlier today. My Stormcom had been removed and I’d been given a new role working for the Magicians Alliance”.

“Do you remember how long ago this was?”

“Not long, a few weeks. Five maybe? It’s hard to remember. I’m sure they do it on purpose. Mess up our minds you know”.

“I’m going to get you out of here,” said Henry. “But you’re going to have to trust me”.

Lily looked at him, eyes wide with hope. “Do you really think you can?”

“A friend of mine, another adventurer… She thinks she has a solution, but she won’t tell me more until I reach level twenty”. Henry watched Lily as she realised what he was saying. “I’m almost there - I’ll be level fourteen after tonight, and I’ve picked another quest up in town which will take me to level fifteen”.

“I had a feeling you knew something. I didn’t know anything about the level 20 escape until after I’d died”.

“I’ll get you out of here Lily, I promise you. Right now I need to know what you know. When I’m in Eelry, my mind feels all hazy. It’s like I can’t think properly. It’s easier out here, but trying to make sense of everything on my own… well, I could do with your help”.

“I can’t tell you much,” Lily replied. “I want to, but there’s something stopping me. You shouldn’t even know about the level 20 escape route yet. We’re forbidden from telling any adventurer about it in case they get ideas t
hat could ‘break the game’”.

“Break the game? I’ve heard that phrase before! That’s what Arabella said to me when she discovered Nellie’s plot to help her girlfriend escape”.

“Do you think Arabella has something to do with this?”

“I think so. I wasn’t sure at first, but after speaking to her, listening to you and Rizon… I think she’s involved. Do you know why she came to the monastery earlier today?”

“I don’t know much,” said Lily. “I heard others talking in the corridors. They said she was angry, but no-one really seemed to know why. I can find out though. Tomorrow. I know there are others like me in there, there has to be”.

“Be careful. Please Lily. It’s so hard to know who used to be an adventurer and who was built into the game. I can’t lose you”.

Lily replied with another passionate kiss. “I don’t want to lose you either”.

Henry’s cock twitched again and he couldn’t hold back any longer. He wanted nothing more than to fuck Lily, bask in her sweetness, and become one with her. Despite only meeting her this morning, he felt like he was falling in love with her. She was the only thing that mattered. And the quest he was on - it wasn’t just for Nellie and Sara now, it was for him. He would help Lily escape, and he would meet her in the real world. There was no way he would leave her behind.

As Lily reached down for his cock, he let her, enjoying the amazing sensation she was giving him. He orgasmed within minutes, her hands and mouth almost magical in the way that they worked his shaft. And when she took off her gown, revealing her pert breasts and her cute little bottom he almost came again. He repaid the favour, licking her pussy and caressing her body until she found her own release, her body lighting up with electricity as she jerked on the picnic blanket beneath them.

The sex between them seemed to last for hours. Fucking Lily was everything Henry had hoped. He took it slow at first, easing himself into her, not wanting the size of his cock to hurt her, but after sensing her reaction he soon quickened his pace. Her pussy seemed to fit around his cock perfectly, opening willingly to let him enter. He held onto her breasts as he took her passionately, urgently, like he’d never wanted anyone before.
