“OK, thank you.” Rose mumbled.
Her father closed the bedroom door and went down the stairs to check Bekki was OK. Rose climbed out of bed and went to the bedroom window. She looked across to the park. There stood next to the swings again was the old man. He smiled and waved to Rose. She smiled and waved back.
“Thank you, Daddy,” She whispered.
