She told Netta where she would be, she wasn’t a total fool after all. She wanted to be alone with him and just talk. Yeah, right. She wanted someone to know where she was in case he became aggressive. Who was she kidding? The thought of his being aggressive just turned her on.
She walked out the back of the house to see him standing near the gazebo, all seven feet of him. His thick, long, white hair moved slightly with the breeze. She imagined running her hands through his hair, kissing his fine lips and kissing down his fine chin, to his throat onto his fine chest and down. He was magnificent. She felt possessive. All mine!
"Yes, love, I am yours.” she heard him say in her mind.
He greeted her in the same fashion as their first meeting. He kissed her hand and led her to their seat in the gazebo.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?” God! She really just loved to hear him speak!
"I needed to hear your plans without the distraction of my sisters. To ensure I felt safe going forward with this...adventure.”
"And… What else was there?"

He pushed her to say more. He knew she felt the connection. He could feel the invisible leads tying them to each other. He still held her hand and was absently stroking the inside of her wrist with his thumb. Her warmth called to him. The rapid beat of her heart gave him hope. He wanted so badly to kiss her and drink her and hold her and make love until she was screaming his name. Patience, he reminded himself.
“And I wanted to see if I could be alone with you and maintain my composure.” She admitted, then shyly hid her face behind her fall of dark ebony hair.
Her hair was straight and looked like smooth silk. She wore it in a bob of sorts with thick, straight cut bangs. Sleek, shiny, black hair hung just above her shoulders and gently curved under, almost like a silk hood around her fair skinned, oval shaped face. Her eyes were the color of maple syrup only a bit lighter shade. They had the distinctive dark brown ring around the iris. A family trait for sure, as Victor knew her parentage. It was a vampire-knowing. He wondered if she knew. More patience.
"Are you having trouble being alone with me? If you prefer, we could go back and sit with your family, although I am enjoying this undisturbed view of you.”
Tugging her closer, he put his arm around her waist and just held her next to him, in an almost brotherly fashion. For some reason, this felt right, as she relaxed into him.
"I think I like being alone with you, just a little too much… And that scares the hell out of me." She looked up into his silver-blue eyes, the honesty showing on her young face.
"My love, it frightens me as well. However, I intend to face that fear and make things better for us both.”
He lowered his head to hers and barely touched her lips. She gasped at the electric snap that discharged as soon as they touched. He took the opportunity to explore inside her open mouth and they both groaned their satisfaction. They fit. They were perfect together. Slowly her hand came up to cradle his face and stroke his ear. Her warm hand and quickened heartbeat would undo him, if he didn’t force himself away. How could he? She was HIS.
She noticed him holding back.
"What is it? Did I kiss badly? I’m sorry. I’m not very experienced but from my point of view, I thought it was wonderful.”
The last word dragged out on a whisper. He kissed her harder and threw out any half-assed ideas of pulling away from her.
She could hear him in her head. "This is not something I would ask of a woman I just met, but...I feel as if I have known you my entire life. My heart, will you let me love you? Will you make love with me? I cannot set aside fate and throw away this moment, this feeling. This is now. This is tomorrow. This is forever."
She shivered and thought back to him.
"I don’t know why and I don’t care right now. If it’s fate, so be it. I do want this to happen. Please, yes, love me...and let me love you.”
She felt weightless until she realized she wasn’t sitting on the bench in the gazebo any longer. She was floating in the clouds just above The Mansion. Victor was kissing her neck, nibbling with his long fangs but not breaking the skin. She was unafraid. This was heaven. He was amazing. She was floating and falling.
Falling in love. Impossible.
Dawn arrived earlier than she expected. Tashi had been lying on the most comfortable bed, next to the most comfortable man, feeling safe, warm and very loved, when she felt the first ray of sun on her skin. When she realized where she was, with whom she laid, she panicked a little and immediately sat up to cover herself. But Victor was not there. Well, that solved the first problem, sorta.
Secondly, she didn’t know where she was. Nothing in the room was familiar. Not even the air. It smelled like the ocean! She threw back the sheets and scrambled for the window. A soft breeze billowing the light drapes made it look like a sexy music video. But this was hopefully reality. Tashi pulled the flimsy material back and took in the spectacular view. Except it shouldn’t be there! Or she shouldn't be there! The landscape was amazing and overwhelming. Its beauty was unsurpassed. She was nowhere near the mansion that was sure! The rock formations were sharp and jagged looking dangerous and when the waves hit them to splash over and turn into white foam, the thunder was deafening and hypnotic at the same time.
"Oh my God! Where am I and why am I here? Where is Victor?" She began wailing and couldn’t breathe. She felt the room grow warmer and she smelled smoke. The sheet she was holding was smoking and would burst into flame if she didn’t calm down.
"Why is this happening to me?"
She began thinking hard, trying to remember. I can heat up a cup of coffee. I've always been able to do that but lately, since we came home, I’ve been able to hold a small flame in my hand. But this feels dangerous. I can’t control it. This is so not good!
"Victor? Where are you when I need you?" Then she felt his voice, in her head and actually felt his hand stroking her cheek.
"Calm yourself, love. I am near and you are not alone. My manservant, Michael, will be at your door momentarily. Please be patient and at ease, my love.”
She took one breath, then another, and it helped a little. A sudden knock at the door caused a yelp to escape before she could stop it. Grabbing the sheet to cover her nakedness, she bade them come in and waited to see who was there. A middle-aged man, handsome...in a quiet way, entered the room. She assumed it was Michael. He asked if she was okay but he did it in that old world way Victor had, "Is my lady in distress?” Geeesh, neither of them could just ask a simple question! She had to chuckle at that, and then answered him with the same tone.
"I am deeply affected by my awkward situation at the moment and desire information as to my whereabouts.”
Then she just grinned. It felt funny to speak so formally. Michael took no notice and simply bowed to her as he told her she was the guest of Mr. LaFontaine and “my lord” would explain everything to “my lady” upon his arrival this evening.
"This evening? I can’t stay here all day! Where are my clothes?” She smelled smoke and tried to remain calm. "I need to get back to my sisters at home and I really don’t enjoy being kept against my will!"
She was beginning to shriek and it didn’t look good on her, calming herself, she took a deep breath and asked Michael how she could get a car or taxi.
"I’m sorry, my lady, I cannot accommodate you, as my lord has left strict instructions to guard you, but you cannot leave the premises.”
What? She was going to tell Mr. LaFontaine he had another thing coming if he thought he could keep her here. She stood to find her clothes and discovered that not only was she naked in a strange place but there was no sign of her belongings.
"Where are my clothes?" Michael had disappeared. She growled loud enough to be heard through the door.
"Ooooh that man is in deep shit when he arrives this evening!"
The curtains floating around the window flared with small flames glowing at the bottom hem. Tashi th
rew water at them and flounced back to the bed and sat down in a huff. She had three hours before sunset, plenty of time to plan various ways of how to kill a vampire.

Victor could feel her anger the moment he awoke. Yet he smiled. His little wildcat was amusing and arousing. Their night together was amazing. She had been almost as eager for him as he had been for her. When he had landed after their flight into the clouds, she hadn’t even asked where she was. She had clung to him, touching him everywhere, like she could not believe he was there or just because she liked him. He preferred the latter.
He’d never had a lover such as Tatianna. She wasn’t shy but he knew she was inexperienced. He cared not a whit. She made up for her lack of education with her enthusiasm for learning. Before he could get them into his bedchamber, she had his robe off, her soft, warm hand surrounding his hard cock, as she slowly but soundly rocked his world. All he had to do was moan or move just a bit and she followed his lead. He had to taste all of her or die. He was hard again but unselfishly held back, giving his love to her. Only when she had two more orgasms, did he release his seed while stroking inside her hot body.
She had the most beautiful voice and her sexy way of expressing her desire and pleasure, was beyond his wildest imaginings. She was so passionate, so hot and aggressive, and God help him, oral. He groaned at the memories as he had worked his way up her body, beginning with her ankle. She had squirmed, begging for him to touch her but he held her back from the cliff. He wanted to take her to the heights and hold. It would make their coming together so much better. He kissed and licked with his wicked, warm tongue up to her knee, to that sensitive spot behind the bend.
His hands softly kneading her thighs and slowly pulling her legs apart, Victor tasted his way up her inner thigh as she quivered with his touch. He blew warm breath on her mound, smooth and hairless; she reacted as every small nerve ending was lit with fire. He slowly used his thumbs to pull apart her labia and licked up each side. Still not touching her not the way she wanted, but knowing she thought it felt really good!

Tashi was thinking about last night with Victor at the same time he was. She was feeling everything all over again. It was like they were sharing the same dream. She thought about when he moved up to her hot, wet, achy pussy and licked her body everywhere. Everywhere, except where she needed it, she nearly lost control of herself. She wasn’t herself with him and she really didn’t want to be. She was all uptight, controlling and always butting into others business. Yeah, she knew how she was. But right now, here with Victor she wanted to be a wanton, hungry woman. Giving her “man” exactly what he wanted. What he needed from her. Then he hit her spot. She screamed his name.
He had finally licked over her clit and she came up off the bed. Literally. She came as she felt herself fly inches above the mattress. Oh my God! She’d had orgasms before with her magic bullet, and once a boyfriend had actually done it for her, with his hand. Forget those! This was hug, and earth moving and enormous and O.M.G. good! He continued to drive her into frenzied madness, only to slow and cause her to fall back into only bliss. She smiled at that thought. Only bliss. Sigh.
Then, oh God! Then...he crawled up her body and she came again as he literally dragged his tall, tight and smooth body over hers. Skin to skin. Touching her everywhere. It seemed he had three or four hands and they touched exactly like she wanted to be touched, like he knew what she was thinking. What the…
She remembered hearing him think to her.
“I am in your thoughts my sweet, and I do know what you want from me, and I am only more than happy to oblige. Would you care to share with me what you think I should do for you or should I continue on my own?”
His hands were cupping her ample breasts, tweaking her nipples into rock hard points. She was writhing under him making their contact even more erotic. Hearing his thoughts and being able to see or know what the other wanted. Man that was erotic and very hot. She felt his hard body lying on top of her yet he didn’t crush her. He was using his magic to lift most of his weight while keeping them in contact. Lovely, sinful, hot contact.
"Please, Victor...I want to feel you. All of you when you lay with me. Don’t worry about hurting me. I want it. I want all of you!”
When his mouth touched her nipple and flicked it with his hot tongue, the groan that left her breathless also had to be heard for miles. She felt lightheaded, aware, on fire, and yet fluid in his tight embraces.
"You take my cold soul and make it into flames. You bring light into my heart. Never have I been as alive as I am with you and for this gift, my love, I can never repay you. Although...I will continue to try." He smiled wickedly. He reached to cover her sex, sliding two fingers into her heat. She melted.
Liquid Tashi.
She felt so cherished and loved and wanted and beautiful and womanly and sexy. Wow! She knew she’d never get enough of this feeling or this man. Vampire! The word screamed in her head.
“My love, if you knew, what a real vampire could be, how dangerous they are, you would not fear me. I am alive because of you and your goodness. True vampires are undead, vile beasts with no heart and no soul." She let go the breath she held as he continued. "They kill for pleasure and the thrill it gives them. I hunt them and destroy them. You are mine and no one will harm you. No one will frighten you. No one will touch you. No one will love you, but me.”
Although she knew what he was saying might just be his way of convincing her to stay right where she was, she also felt some truth behind it. She’d felt honest caring for others before this, but this was more…so much more. This was different. This felt like life. Opening a door to sunshine and inhaling the smell of fresh air after a spring shower. She could sense him and how she felt to him. This was amazing, frightening and totally cool! She giggled. She could hear him chuckle in her mind.
"It will always be so."

Even though Lina knew Tashi was fine with Victor, she couldn’t help the worry. That was just the momma hen in her. She’d seen the looks they’d given each other and guessed the report was going to be interesting. Her straight laced sister with a vampire. She couldn’t wait to hear what happened. She sat on the porch with her glider keeping rhythm with her anxious heartbeat. Tashi had only been gone a day and two nights. Victor had said he’d return on the second night. So where were they?
Okay it wasn’t quite dark yet, but her nerves were frayed after the scene in the garden, then she and Keaton in the bedroom. Now Tashi and Victor were pairing up. How did her quiet, boring little life become so crazy and involved? It was certainly not boring now.
A chilly wind blew through the trees and across the porch. It felt great after the hot windless day they’d had. She then knew it wasn’t a natural breeze. She scanned the trees for movement and finally saw Victor and Tashi, holding hands, walking toward the house. Oh this was going to be fun!
"Well fanged-one? Where have you been? I’ve been out of my mind with worry. Don’t vampires have cell phones?”
Victor could feel she wasn’t angry, but was putting on a front for Tashi’s benefit, to show she cared.
"I apologize for our tardiness. I did not want our time to end. Your sister is an alluring woman with many charms, as I am sure you are aware. And now that I have spent some time with her, I hesitate to return her. Time apart will be agony."
Man, he sure can lay it on thick! Lina thought as she watched the two of them barely touching yet being intimate at the same time.
"Okay you two, I would suggest you get a room but I think we’re beyond that. Tashi? Come inside, we need to talk. And you, Vlad Junior, go set about making your plans for this witch hunt and oh yeah, by the way...” she hesitated. “Please, be careful.”
Victor was taken aback at her spoken sentiment and immediately warmed to this sister. She was a beauty but more than that, she was sharp-witted and very nurturing. She was a good woman.
"I will take the utmost care with
my actions, especially now, when I have so much more to lose."
With those final words, he kissed Tashi on the cheeks, bowed to Lina and just...poof...he was gone!
“I’ll never get used to him just appearing, poof, then the exits, poof. But I think he’s worth the tiny effort of trying to get used to that and other things.”

Tashi sighed and sat down on the steps to the porch. She knew the inquisition would start any moment, but wanted the last few rays of light to the day to be peaceful and serene. She was truly happy.
Lina gave her a minute, barely, before she started in with the questions.
"How was it? Does he kiss good? Was it hot-hot or just like an average man... I mean, human man. Oh, you know what I mean! Did he bite you? Did you drink blood? Oh my God! You’re not going to turn into a bloodsucker are you? Talk to me Tashi!"
She was working herself into a stroke. Tashi just smiled and let her wind down.
"It was incredible, unbelievable, erotic, warm, hot, wet, fast, slow, everything in between and more.” She breathed a telling sigh. "Oh my God, Lina! I’ll never be able to even look at another man without thinking of the one night—okay two nights—I spent with Victor, my vampire! What am I going to do?”
She began sobbing and Lina stepped down to hold her in the sister hug, when Netta came out the screen door.
"What’s going on? Is she okay? Is she okay? Did that vampire hurt her? Where’s Victor? Somebody talk to me!"
They all seemed to work up quite a frenzy when their sisters were hurt, confused or in trouble, and it seemed Tashi was in all three states at one time.
"I think I’m in love with a vampire!” she blurted out and began sobbing anew.
"Oh! Is that all?" Netta grinned and sat on her other side. "I thought it was something really serious!”
Lina started the giggling and it became contagious. Netta had trouble catching her breath while she howled with glee, hardly at Tashi’s expense, but because they both loved her.
