“I’m sure,” Dengar said. “I’m on good terms with the commander of the Ithorian herdship, Tafanda Bay. General Olan Dewes is his name. He owes me a big favor.”
“How big?” Udin asked.
“Back when I was still working for the Empire, two colonels once wanted the same post. One of them hired a man to kill his rival — Olan Dewes. The Empire frowns on this kind of thing. So I spoiled the plan.”
“You saved Dewes’ life?” Eron asked.
“Let’s just say that when I got finished, there was only one man who wanted the post. General Olan Dewes owes me. I’ll take Han Solo and his Rebel friends as partial payment. He won’t escape me again.”
