Four weeks later.
Maggie is learning quickly, far too quickly for my liking. How could Queanbeyan be so stupid? I told them: Attack and pressure. Instead they threw everyone forward, leaving themselves open to the counter. And Maggie’s girls have a savage counter attack, one of the best in the state.
They did get their game plan back, but were so far behind that all Maggie had to do was throw on more defenders.
Queanbeyan counted as a setback, but Cowra equalled really bad news.
She has Zara to thank for training those skilled defenders!
I expected Goulburn to win, but how they won, that was the wake-up call.
They love her more now she’s getting results, building morale and team spirit.
Let’s see how Maggie handles it when the wolves come looking for her.
