Jennifer's Choice Page 3

by Erin Osborne

“What can I get you?” The waitress asks, looking only at Boy Scout and Wood.

“Well, I’ll have an iced tea and a cup of milk for my son,” I say, asserting myself without letting the green-eyed monster that wants to surface take over.

“And what about you two sexy as sin men?” she asks, pouting her lips and trying to push her enhanced tits up to gain their attention.

“I’ll have an iced tea, and he’ll have a coffee,” Boy Scout says as Wood turns his attention toward me; completely ignoring the waitress.

“I’ll be right back with those so you have a minute to decide what you want to eat. There are options on, and off, the menu,” she says as my mouth drops open in shock.

“We’ll order from the menu and that’s it. Don’t want anythin’ other than our girl,” Wood finally says, dismissing the woman before looking over at Wade in a high chair at the end of the table.

“You guys deal with that a lot?” I ask, wanting to know what I’m truly in for with these two.

“It happens. You’ll see women hittin’ on us in public because of the cut and the bike. And you’ll see women from the clubhouse approachin’ us too. We haven’t been monks, J, but they don’t mean a fuckin’ thing to us,” Boy Scout says, lifting his gaze from his menu while talking to me.

“Oh,” I say. There really are no words I can say to that.

The reality of the situation is that I’ve probably fucked more men than these two have combined. It’s not something I’m proud of, but I was forced into my situation. There hasn’t been a single person I’ve willingly let inside my body or had their cocks down my throat.

I’m scared I won’t really be enough for the two men sitting with me, but I want to be. More than anything, I want to open up and not be afraid to live my life and start taking the chances I want to take. Like, being with Wood and Boy Scout. I’m not sure how it would work, but I have a feeling they’ll be able to explain everything I need to know.

“So, do you all know what you want to eat?” the waitress asks, coming back with our drink order.

“Yeah. I’ll have a burger and fries,” Boy Scout says.

“I’ll have the same,” Wood says, turning to look at me for my order.

“Um, I guess I’ll have a BLT with fries. And the kids chicken nugget meal,” I say, handing over my menu while she continues to bat her lashes and tries to flirt with two men completely oblivious to her attempts.

She huffs when she realizes she won’t be getting laid by either one of them. I bet she’d piss herself if she knew they were a package deal. That’s not my concern, though. The only thing I’m concerned about right now is keeping my nerves down about this whole lockdown situation that’s gonna happen once we get back to the house.

“I have a question,” I say, wanting to see if they can give me an idea about what I’ll be facing when I get to the clubhouse.

“What’s up, Spitfire?” Wood asks, turning in the booth to look at me.

“What’s gonna happen when we get to the clubhouse?” I ask, not knowing any other way to ask the question.

“We’ll get you guys settled in the room. From there, it’s your decision what you do. We’re not gonna keep you in the room if that’s what you’re askin’,” Wood says, answering my unasked question.

“Who all is gonna be there?”

“Well, all the guys, any ol’ ladies that are a part of the club, the house bunnies will be there, and all the girls will be there too,” Boy Scout says, reaching across the table for my hand. “If you want to go out in the common area, you can. You’re not gonna be forced to do anythin’ you don’t want to do. But, we don’t wanna see you hide away in our room either.”

“We’re all gonna share a room?” I ask, my nerves getting to me at the thought of sleeping with these two men.

“Yeah. Nothin’ will happen that you don’t want to happen, Spitfire,” Wood tells me as the waitress drops our food off.

“You wouldn’t have to wait with me,” she says, proving she’s been eavesdropping on our conversation.

“I’m losing my appetite. Can we leave?” I ask, knowing I’m not gonna be able to eat with this woman continuously trying to put herself in our conversation and get with them.

“Box this shit up,” Wood says, glaring at the waitress. “And send your fuckin’ manager over here.”

She looks terrified right now. I’m glad she does. It still doesn’t change the fact she’s been a pain in the ass since we walked in the diner. The way she’s acting right now, I was forced to act when Trey and Alan had me. There’s no one forcing her to basically pimping herself out to the men that walk in this diner to enjoy a meal. I’ll never come back in here to eat. Not as long as she’s working here.

The manager walks over to our table and Wood tells her what’s been going on since we took our seats. Our waitress is standing near the table, proving that she’s still trying to listen in and insert herself in our business.

Yeah, it’s about her this time, but she doesn’t need to know what he’s saying to her manager. She’ll find out soon enough I’m sure. As the manager listens to Wood talking, she looks over at the waitress in question. Her anger at what’s happened is written all over her face.

“I’ll make sure this doesn’t ever happen again in here. Your food will be boxed up, and then you’ll be ready to go,” the manager says, crooking her finger to the waitress.

“Can we get our bill?” Boy Scout asks, sitting back in his seat.

“It’s on the house after the atrocious way my waitress was acting,” she says, turning and walking away with the waitress following her.

I don’t want to see anyone fired, but this woman isn’t in the right line of work with the way she talks. Everyone admires someone they find attractive, but not everyone acts on it the way she did. There’s no way in hell I would’ve acted like this in a restaurant. Especially when there’s a woman with the men I found attractive; and a kid. Some people just don’t know how to be respectful.

  Chapter Three

  Wood

I’M PROUD OF the way Jennifer held herself together when that nosy ass waitress couldn’t keep her comments to herself. She didn’t make catty or snide comments to her, she simply ignored her. I know she doesn’t like that we’re clearly getting hit on and offered sex right in front of her. In fact, I’m sure it was eating her alive and making her think twice about us spending time with her. Unfortunately, this is a part of our life, and it happens. Boy Scout and I don’t want anyone but Jennifer, and we’ll make sure that she knows it one way or another.

What I am surprised about, is the way she acted when we put all the clothes for her in the cart. She doesn’t want anyone to do anything for her, and she sure as fuck doesn’t care about having more clothes than what she currently owns. The only time she spends money is when she’s buying something for Wade. He’s got toys, clothes, more than enough food, blankets for days, and anything else she can think of and afford to buy for him.

I love that she’s like that with him, and not a selfish cunt like so many other mothers that lived the life she did. Hell, we’ve seen enough prostitutes in our line of work, and life, to know that the ones with kids don’t give a flying fuck about them. I’ve even had more than one admit to me they were either popping kids out to get welfare or lied to their Johns about being on birth control. At that point, they don’t even know who their baby daddy is.

Now, we’re on the way back with the food that didn’t get eaten at the diner. It’ll be cold, but I’m not gonna complain. If Jennifer, my little Spitfire, didn’t want to stay there, I’m not gonna force her to. She’s been forced to do enough shit in her life and we’re not going to add to it. Unless it comes down to a matter of safety for her or Wade, we’ll help her do whatever she wants to do. She just needs to figure out what that is.

“How much time do we have before we need to go to the clubhouse?” she asks as we pull into the parking lot of the Benton Falls Apartments where
she lives.

“Not a lot of time. We basically have time to warm our food up and eat before packin’ you and Wade up to leave.” I was gonna have Alex bring the van to gather anything she wanted to take, but we’re gonna have to follow her over in the SUV. That way we’ll have our bikes and she’ll have a way to get around if Slim says they can go out to the store or whatever else the girls are gonna want to do.

“Okay. I’ll warm up Wade’s food before I get things together. There’s really no point in unloading the SUV with our purchase today. We can take all that with us to use on this lockdown. It’s not gonna take me long to gather sippy cups and things like that before I’m ready to go,” she says, pulling Wade’s food out of the box and placing it on a plate to warm up.

I walk into the kitchen behind her and wrap my arms around her. She stiffens up for a minute before relaxing into my embrace. It’s the first time either one of us has gotten this close to her. But, I figure we’ll be sleeping in the same bed as of tonight, so she might as well get used to us in a physical capacity. Jennifer leans her head back against me as she watches Wade’s food heat up.

I close my eyes as I take in her warmth and smell. She smells like a fruit of some sort and something that is uniquely her. A smell I can’t get enough of, and my mouth waters at the knowledge that one day I’ll get a taste of her. We both will even if we have to ease her into it.

“You smell so good,” I murmur into her hair, running my nose up the side of her neck.

“I smell like baby stuff,” she says, laughing and pulling at my heartstrings with the sound of it.

“No, you don’t. Jennifer, one day we’re gonna be buried balls deep inside you. We’ll teach you things you’ve never dreamed about bein’ done to you. It’s gonna be because you want it to happen. We’ll never force you to do somethin’ you don’t want to do, but I’m lettin’ you know, this will happen. Soon.” I kiss her neck before letting her go so she can get his dinner out.

Boy Scout walks in the kitchen and puts Wade in the high chair. The little boy is babbling away to himself while holding onto his little bike for dear life. Every time I see him, he’s never without that bike. Or a different one we’ve gotten him over the last year. If we have our way, we’ll definitely have him into bikes more than he is now at one year old.

He’s a future member of the Phantom Bastards, and I don’t think Jennifer will have a problem because of everything the club has done for her. Yeah, they’re helping her because of us, but they’d help out even if we weren’t interested in claiming her for ourselves as our ol’ lady.

“You guys get your food warmed up, and I’ll get the rest of the stuff ready to go,” Jennifer says, handing the plate to Wade so he can start eating. I like that she trusts us to watch her son while she moves about the apartment in different rooms.

“You’re gonna eat too,” I tell her, putting my food in the microwave because it was the first container I opened.

“I know. Right now, I just want to make sure everything is packed up so we can leave as soon as we’re done eating. Like I said, it’s not going to take me long to get that done,” she says, heading down the hallway toward the bedrooms and bathroom.

I didn’t even think about getting things to keep at the clubhouse for when Wade needs a bath or something there. This lockdown isn’t going to be the only time they’re at the clubhouse. We’ll need to make sure we have everything he needs there in case anything happens.

I’m pretty sure that’s one of the reasons Boy Scout got an extra box of pull-ups when we were shopping. We’ll keep one there, and make sure that we get more for the apartment. There should be toys he can play with there when he doesn’t want to be around the rest of the kids or he’s just woken up from a nap. I’ll talk to Boy Scout, and we’ll see what we can do about slowly bringing some things in for him so Jennifer doesn’t lose her shit. I’m not doing this to buy either one of them. The reason I want to do this is to ensure that my family is as comfortable as they can be whenever there’s a party, function, or lockdown at the clubhouse.

Once my dinner is done, I put the next plate of food in. It’s Boy Scout’s, so he can eat. Jennifer’s is last. I walk to the table so I can eat my food real quick while he grabs his, and puts our girl’s food in next. If she were sitting out here with us, I would’ve made sure that hers was done after mine, but I’m going to give her the time she needs right now. Today’s been a lot to take in for her, and I don’t want her to get overwhelmed to the point that she shuts down and pulls away from us again.

We’ve been at the clubhouse for a little while now. Jennifer has been in the room with Wade so that he can take a nap. Boy Scout and I have been trying to give her space so she can get used to being here. Kim has already been going crazy as she waits not so patiently in the bar. It’s not like she’s alone, the rest of the girls are here. And the ones that have kids have them sitting at a table in the corner so no one bothers them. They’re all pretty much claimed, it’s just a matter of that couple’s story taking place. And not my business.

I’m on my second beer when Jennifer and Wade emerge from the hallway our room is down. Wade’s toddling down the hall while my girl walks behind him and tries to keep him steady on his feet. I’m not sure what all’s on this floor, so I don’t want him crawling around on it. I’ll have to make sure she knows that, and the house bunnies clean real good before any of the kids get down on the floor. It’s different now because we’ve never really had kids here but they’re here now, and we have to remember that.

“Spitfire, your friends are over there,” I say, nodding my head in the direction of Kim and the rest of the new girls.

She nods at me before directing Wade over that way. A smile graces her face as Kim stands up and makes a spectacle for the little boy. She’s crouched down with her arms out as his little legs move faster and faster toward her. Jennifer has a small smile on her face at the antics of her friend. She’s too nervous with all the guys sitting around having a beer or two to be truly happy right now.

“I’m glad to see that she came out of the room,” Boy Scout says, sitting down next to me at the small table I plopped my ass at.

“It’s gonna take time. Right now, we don’t have any choice but to keep her here for lockdown. After that, we’ll slowly bring her around more and more,” I tell him, watching her interact with everyone at the table.

“Let’s give her some space but make sure we bring her back to the room if we see her getting uncomfortable,” he murmurs around the beer bottle at his lips.

Before I can say anything, Killer is going after Clayton, one of our prospects. Apparently, he didn’t like the way he was looking at Gwen. Killer’s a quiet guy, but when he’s pissed, you know it. Everyone in town can probably hear him as he yells at the prospect about keeping his eyes off Gwen. She’s a young girl that’s been through a lot of shit. I’m not sure of how bad she still is after we rescued her from her demented as fuck father.

My eyes cut to Jennifer as a set of arms wrap around my shoulders. An overwhelming smell of horrid perfume assaults my senses and I immediately know who’s behind me-Ginger. She’s a house bunny that’s had her eye on Boy Scout and me for a long time now. It’s never gonna happen, and we’ve told her that more than once.

“Get. The. Fuck. Off. Me. Now!” I holler out, pulling her arms off me as I look at our girl. She’s devastated and I can tell that she’s about to run.

“Baby, you know you miss me,” she says, as Collette walks over to join in.

“We’ve never touched your skank ass,” Boy Scout growls out as he stands up. “Get the fuck away and go back to your rooms. You’re not even supposed to fuckin’ be out here right now.”

“None of these bitches are ol’ ladies. They’re just pieces of ass that the club is protecting,” Collette says, trying to sit down on my lap. That’s not gonna happen, I think as I stand up so she has nowhere to sit.

“They’re good enough as an ol’ lady. Besides, they’re s
ure the fuck better than your wet, sloppy holes,” I say, leaving the table and making my way to Jennifer and Wade.

“You’ll regret turning us down when that bitch can’t satisfy your needs for long,” Collette shouts out as the room goes quiet.

“Get back to your rooms and don’t fuckin’ come out again!” Slim shouts, making an appearance from his office at the ruckus we’ve caused. “Alex, get the fuck on the door and don’t let those two out. None of them belong out here right now.”

I grab Wade from Jennifer and then pull her into my side. Boy Scout is right next to us as we make our way to the room. We need to explain some things to her so she doesn’t get upset and think things are going on that aren’t. We would never touch one of these sluts when we have the chance to be with Jennifer.

  Chapter Four

  Jennifer

WE’VE BEEN AT the clubhouse for a few hours now and I am so confused and don’t know what I’m getting myself into here. Kim took me on a quick tour of the clubhouse earlier. There are girls that you can plainly see are there trying to get any man they can to notice them. For the most part, they don’t care if the man is involved with someone or not.

Sitting in the common room, I look around. This is the room that we all walked into and it’s huge. There’s a long bar off to the side and tables fill most of the remaining area. Toward the back of the room there are a few pool tables and a dart board set up. Opposite of the bar is an area that holds couches and a few large TVs mounted to the wall. They’re not on right now as music is playing throughout the entire room.

There’s two hallways. One holds the rooms that we’re all staying in while the other one has the storeroom for the bar, Slim’s office, and another door that’s always kept locked. Kim said that this was where church was held and no one is allowed in there except the patched members.
