  * * *

[JO1]Spell with an e when using as a noun and referring to a female…

  [JO2]Who is Meeta…explain her role…

[JO3]I think the“silly fool” insult might date the book a bit… It’s very Carey Grant and Audrey Hepburn (who I love, but I know you’re going for a more modern feel)!

[JO4]He says in the next scene that she called someone on her cell…so she shouldn’t say she is“going to the cottage”…

  [JO5]“over”

[JO6]Before she said she had to“go to the cottage”

  [JO7]Fool?

  [JO8]“itsproblems” repeated

[JO9]Need another sentence between these to transition…she was downstairs getting the meds, then he is knocking them to the floor…we need a sentence where she returns to the room…

[JO10]Remind us who Meeta is… (a house keeper? A cook?)

[JO11]She did not tie him up…just had Meeta sit on him…

[JO12]Rework this sentence…the commas I added are a start, but as written it seemed to say her sister belonged in his cave…

  [JO13]“hisneck” repeated

  [JO14]

  [JO15]

  [JO16]Rephrase…a bit confusing…bone bit flesh then bone…

  [JO17]MarTIN or MarTEN

  [JO18]

  [JO19]Spelling?

  [JO20]Maybe going against him…rather than disobeying him…

  [JO21]Or Marten?

[JO22]She sort of comes off as sexist here to suggest that the bad guy can’t be a woman.

[JO23]As an English teacher, this made me smile: as gentle as an Iamb (as in iambic meter!!)

[JO24]?? This is confusing. What exactly does he think she is doing back at the house with Ian?

[JO25]It needs to be clear here that he knows she got him to leave on purpose so that she could catch the bad guy alone…otherwise it sounds as if he suspects she is an accomplice when that’s not what he thinks…

  [JO26]So…four gunshots in a row??

[JO27]This did not end up coming into play at all, so I suggest either adding it in after the fight as over or taking it out as it is a bit confusing.

[JO28]Confusing…did she want him to“follow her” or not?

[JO29]If we are modernizing this one, it would be at the very least a cd. But if this is a luxury car, as I’m guessing it must be, it would be digital, perhaps an MP3.

[JO30]“Father and son” repeated in this section. Change second one.

[JO31]“worked” repeated three times in this section…creates repetitive sound

  [JO32]“thick” repeated

[JO33]But he said above it had only been a year since he had been with a woman, so this statement about yearning for human touch for two years is false…perhaps we need him to say he had been yearning for her touch for two years (not any).

[JO34]Sounds as if he’s saying he treated her like he thought she was a drunken brute…how about he’d acted like a drunken brute…

[JO35]Rephrase…he couldn’t keep himself FROM thinking about her…

  [JO36]Or bolt?

  [JO37]You don’t need“also” and“too” in the same sentence…

  [JO38]Repeated…

  [JO39]“hishands” repeated

  [JO40]repeated

[JO41]This means he never stopped loving himself either…
