When Wyatt had asked to be collared by Mistress Ana, he never anticipated she would offer up her sub and want a true threesome. Nor had he ever imagined that Foster actually desired him sexually. It rattled him to his core and forced him to admit things to himself that he never imagined he would. Unfortunately, his gut reaction had been so terrible in that moment that he feared he’d permanently ruined his chances with the couple.
Determined not to let this opportunity slip through his fingers, he turned to the biggest gossip he knew. “Tasha, did you see which way Foster went?”
The pretty redhead stopped mid-sentence and cocked her head at him. “I’m pretty sure he went into the kitchen. Why?”
Instead of responding to her question, Wyatt turned on his booted heel and headed back into the house. He wasn’t sure what his plan was, but he knew he needed to find him and apologize for everything that had happened in the past. Somehow he needed to make Foster understand and forgive him.
As he moved with purpose through the kitchen door and into the dining room, he was stopped by a softly spoken, “Thank you” on his left.
The voice stopped him in his tracks before he reached the hallway, and turning, he found Mistress Ana standing in the shadows just inside the doorway of Killian’s library. She’d had the perfect vantage point for the whole snake snafu, and she was looking at him with mild curiosity and gratitude.
“I’m sorry, Mistress, what was that?” he asked, moving closer to her, but keeping a respectful distance as he bowed his head to her.
“I’m not your Mistress, Wyatt Marks. There’s no need for any of that.” Her words were sharp, but her tone was not. She almost sounded saddened by the fact.
Wyatt took a chance and lifted his eyes to hers; as always her brilliant green gaze took his breath away and made him feel weak kneed. “You could be my Mistress. I want…no, I need you to be.”
“We’ve been over this before, and it went badly. You made your needs perfectly clear, and they don’t line up with mine. I only stopped you tonight to thank you, for handling what my sub could not. I’d forgotten that he had a phobia of snakes, and I sent him to handle something he wasn’t prepared for. I’m grateful to you for not reacting to his fear and hurting him more.” She didn’t move. Not even an inch. Her entire luscious body was rigid with tension, as she swallowed her pride to thank him. Wyatt could only imagine how hard it was for her to force the words out considering how badly he’d hurt her and Foster in the past.
“Mistress, Ana, please, I was just going in search of Foster to apologize…” His voice cracked and broke off as her jaw clenched.
“Apologize, huh? What would you be apologizing for? You told us how you felt, and we’ve left you alone since then.”
The words echoed in his brain, and his heart clenched. “I was wrong. I didn’t mean what I said, and I want you both to hear me out. I need Foster to forgive me for lashing out at him.”
“You made him feel like he was less of a man for his interest in you, Wyatt. It took me months to repair the damage you caused—to him and to our relationship. I don’t think a simple ‘I’m sorry’ will clear the air.” She tossed her head, and her long blonde braid slipped over her shoulder, the end coming to rest just over her hip. What he wouldn’t give to feel the tip of it brush over his thighs as she rode him into the ground.
Her words echoed in the tense air between them, and emotions warred in his heart and mind. How could he even be thinking about sex when they were in the middle of a life-changing discussion? It was wrong.
“I need to find a way to make it up to you both, Mistress. Please, help me.” Ana seemed to enjoy his struggle as he made the request, and he felt a spark of hope in his chest.
In an ideal world, he should never have trouble submitting, and he should always desire to do so, but Wyatt found submission to be more complicated than that. He loved letting a strong woman have her way with him, and lead him into the dark, erotic joy that only submission could bring him, but he was raised in a very traditional household. He was taught that a man should be in control of his own self at all times, so in every other aspect of his life he was an Alpha male. His confidence had been seen as arrogance, and it had rubbed several of the Dommes at these parties the wrong way.
He knew in his heart that he was more of a switch than a sub, but so far, he hadn’t found any Dominants—male or female—who could handle that side of him, so he’d ignored that Dominant part of his makeup. When he got around Foster, it was a struggle to keep it locked down. He wanted to force the man to the floor and fuck him until he was screaming out in ecstasy. How the fuck was he supposed to understand that himself, much less explain it to Foster?
“There’s only one way to make it right, Wyatt, but you and I both know it’s not going to happen.” Ana shook her head resolutely. “You’ve already hurt us both, and I don’t let my subs have the reins, so the smartest thing for you to do is turn around and walk away.”
Wyatt wanted to punch the wall or stomp his foot, instead he settled for yelling. “That’s not good enough!”
Instantly Ana’s whole demeanor changed. Her soft green eyes grew hard as granite, and her hand shifted to the handle of the whip riding her hip.
“Step off, sub. You’re pushing your luck, and if you continue, I’ll demand recompense for the disrespect.” The words were a harsh hiss of anger and Wyatt fought back a flare of resistance, lowering himself to his knees.
“I’m sorry, Mistress. This is too important to me to just walk away. Give me one chance. Tonight. I’ll submit to you…and to Foster. Let me try to be what you both need, Mistress.” When she still looked hesitant, he resorted to all out begging, “Please, Ana, if this doesn’t work, I’ll walk away, and never come back to another Lusty Fantasies Party. I fucked up royally when I lashed out at you and your pet; I wasn’t ready to admit that I wanted another man.”
He was staring at the floor feeling awkward and embarrassed as he spoke the words out loud for the first time, but her gasp of surprise drew his head up. Her lush lips were parted in an O of shock and ever so slowly they curled up into a satisfied smirk.
~
Ana couldn’t stop the smirk, and even though she knew it was foolish, she felt vindicated. She’d known in her soul that Wyatt was the missing link between her and Foster, and when he rejected them, it had been a painfully humbling moment. Now here he was, on his knees, begging her for another chance. “I knew it. You had me doubting my own instincts as a Domme, sub, but I knew there was enough curiosity in you to make it worth the effort.”
Wyatt instantly looked relieved and elated, and she jumped to stop him before he took her comment as agreement.
“Just because you’ve finally admitted your desires, doesn’t mean you’ve changed your nature. What’s going to happen the first time I ask you to do something you don’t want to? Will you suddenly freeze up the moment I tell you to suck his cock, Wyatt?”
His thick neck muscles undulated and his Adam’s apple bobbed in his throat around his swallow, and he licked his lips. Oh yeah, the man was definitely interested in sucking cock.
Clearing his throat, he met her eyes steadily. “If that’s what you want Mistress, that’s what I want. Please reconsider.”
“We’re not here for your kink indulgence, Wyatt. If you want a night of hedonistic play to test your ability to maintain a hard-on, they you need to find someone else.”
Wyatt flinched at the harsh words, but he immediately shook his head, “No ma’am. That’s not it at all. Yes, I want tonight, but there’s no one I want to indulge in pleasure with more than you and Foster.”
Before she could respond a waitress walking into the dining room hit the edge of a table, and her full tray of wine glasses toppled to the tiled floor and shattered. With a heavy sigh of irritation at the party’s latest problem, she gave Wyatt one more hard look and then snapped. “I’ll consider it. Find me when they call for dinner and I’ll give you my answer.”
Unable to
stand there and look upon the brilliant hope that filled his golden eyes, she spun around and marched toward the mess with a new sense of purpose. Perhaps tonight’s comedy of errors would actually turn into something magical after all.
Chapter 3
For the next hour, Ana mulled over Wyatt’s request without coming to a decision as she monitored the party. There were plenty of friends, and a couple of new faces attending tonight, but she was struggling with so many emotions that she wasn’t really enjoying herself much. Not even watching Daniel work his Shibari magic on Kitty made her feel better; that’s when she realized that it was time to seek advice from someone she trusted.
As expected, she found her brother silently drinking in the living room. Slouched in an arm chair, Lex was the antithesis of the joyous passion occurring around him. For just a moment, she allowed herself to feel sorry for him. He had suffered a terrible heartbreak when his wife left him and their newborn daughter ten years ago, but damn it, it was time for him to move on. Life was passing him by, and in this moment, she needed him to focus and help her make the right decision.
Full of determination and frustrated anxiety, Ana marched across the room, returning the smile Lex gave her when he noticed her coming his way.
“Ana. Don’t you just look like a walking talking billboard for Dominatrix Lingerie?” He stood politely to kiss her cheek, and she embraced him, feeling the scrape of his unshaved whiskers over her skin and inhaling the comforting scent of his favorite aftershave. The two might only share a mother for their genetic makeup, but they were closer than most other sibling sets she knew. Lex had always been there for her in the past, just as she’d stood by him and Kaia when they were abandoned by Becky.
“Good guess, Foster helped me pick the pants off their website last month, but the corset came from Orchard Corsets. This is the first one I’ve bought from them, but it won’t be the last.” She responded, taking a seat in the chair next to him. “I was hoping to find you sulking in the corner tonight. I actually need your help.”
When Lex’s eyes darted away from her, and back to the doorway, she frowned. “Alexander? Are you listening to me?”
He didn’t respond, instead he actually seemed to be eye-fucking a curvy, brunette who was peeking in the room. Recognizing the newbie that had plowed into her just a few minutes before in the hallway, Ana groaned, and glared at her brother’s profile.
“Damn it, Lex, stop ignoring me. I don’t have time for this,” she snapped at him with an irritated huff.
As much as she wanted to believe that it was her tone that grabbed her brother’s attention, Ana was fully aware that the pretty brunette had disappeared from his line of sight while she was speaking. She wasn’t at all surprised when he turned his frown on her and asked, “What’s the problem, Ana? You’re never this touchy.”
Hesitantly she started to explain, “I need your advice, and this is serious. I’ve been approached by another submissive about training him.”
“What else is new? Don’t you get a dozen requests a month or so? I swear there are more wannabe submissives seeking a Master to paddle their asses than there are politicians at the BDSM clubs nowadays, and that’s quite a feat.”
Nodding distractedly, she silently agreed with him, she did get a lot of requests, but until now they hadn’t really meant anything. She knew that training Wyatt would cause tension between her and Foster, and that scared the hell out of her. When she remained quiet for a moment lost in her own thoughts, Lex sighed like an overworked father and set his glass down to give her his famous big brother frown. “All right, I give. Who asked, and why does he matter?”
Did he really have to say it like that? Obviously this was a serious situation; otherwise, she wouldn’t have sought him out. “Wyatt Marks.”
“Wyatt is a serial sub. He’s never happy with one Mistress, and I’m sure I don’t need to point out that last time he wanted to play with you things went sour fast, so why would you even consider him this time?” Lex looked as confused as she felt.
Everything he said was right on the money. Wyatt was known in their circles as a ‘serial submissive’, an individual who hadn’t found a stable relationship, and seemed to drift from Top to Top looking for a new adventure to indulge in. Four months ago, she’d believed that she was woman enough to handle anything he threw at her and still be able to tame his wild side, but then he’d lashed out at Foster, the one man she’d actually found a soul deep connection with. The incident had left such a painful imprint on her heart that she hadn’t played with any other subs since that terrible night.
Braving the tongue-lashing she expected to receive from her brother, she explained the conversation she had with Wyatt an hour earlier. “He said he’s done some soul-searching, and he would be willing to join me, with my pet, and become our third.”
“I see. I thought he was straight,” Lex said, cocking his head and lifting an eyebrow.
Ana covered a quick laugh, “Everyone is straight at these events until they aren’t. He apologized, and said he made a mistake before. I think it was genuine, but…”
It was genuine; she knew it deep in her gut. The problem was, she didn’t know how to share that with Foster without him feeling like she was throwing him to the wolves.
“He says he knows how important Foster is to me, and if accepting a sexual relationship with my pet is what it takes to get under my boot heel, he’s willing to do so.”
“It’s certainly an intriguing opportunity. In essence, you can have your cock and eat it too, so to speak.”
Ana laughed and rolled her eyes at her brother’s joke. Lex always did have a strange sense of humor. Before she could respond, he continued.
“You’ve told me that Foster wants him, Ana. That’s why you were willing to accept him before. I don’t know exactly what he said to you guys that night, but I know how much he hurt you both. Are you sure you can handle it if he changes his mind again?”
“I know, and that’s my concern. If this goes bad, and Wyatt can’t go through with it…well it could be ugly.” A lump of anxiety caught in her throat and she struggled to swallow past it. She couldn’t let Wyatt fuck up her relationship again. Foster was the perfect sub for her, and she had no intention of letting him go just because she felt an attraction to Wyatt too.
Lex seemed to be hearing her thoughts. “Let me play devil’s advocate here. What if it turns out to be just what you all need? Aren’t you the one always telling me to be open to whatever’s around the corner? It appears you’ve just been presented with your own corner. Are you willing to take a chance? If Wyatt says he can handle it, and Foster wants it…are you willing to stand in the way because you’re scared of what could happen?”
Fuck. He knew that would piss her off. He’d always been an expert at pushing her buttons, and she fought to hold her temper. “I’m not afraid of taking on a new toy, damn it. I’m concerned about damaging the one I’ve got,” she snapped, starting to rise so that she could storm away, “I’m not even sure why I came to you. I should have known you wouldn’t take this seriously.”
“You came to me because you know I’d never lie to you to protect your feelings, and because I’m the best,” he quipped smugly.
“Yeah, sure, better than all the rest, right?” She rolled her eyes, and shook her head. “You haven’t even had a sub in forever, perhaps you should turn in your Dom card, Lex, along with your balls—if you can find them.”
She glared at him for all she was worth, but he just smirked back at her like he hadn’t a care in the world. She knew in her heart that he was only trying to help her, but he was saying things she wasn’t sure she wanted to hear. In order to get big rewards, she had to take a big risk, and putting Foster and Wyatt in the same room together with her collar on them both, was the biggest risk she’d ever taken. If it worked out, it could end up being the best reward she’d ever received too.
“You’re a pain in my ass, you know?”
“I know, but you’
re my sister, so there’s nothing you can do about it. And for the record, I know exactly where my balls are, thank you very much. When I’m ready for someone to play with them, I’ll find someone. Until then, let’s get back to your situation. You have a sub who’s in love with you—truly, madly, and deeply—but you’ve been putting off a more permanent commitment, choosing to keep him on a leash, but distant. He wants Wyatt even though the man hurt him, because he’s curious about his own sexuality. You want him happy. He wants you happy. Wyatt wants you happy. I’m really not seeing the issue. Give the pup a trial run and see how it goes. If the boy can’t get it up and keep it up with your pet, then you know there’s no future in it.”
Ana groaned and shook her head. “You have such an eloquent way of putting things, brother-mine. I’m not sure Foster will see it so black and white. Wyatt made him doubt himself and our relationship the last time I…well…it’s in the past now, so it doesn’t matter. He says he’s sorry and he wants to make it up to both of us. Perhaps a surprise scene for Foster is in order. One with plenty of groveling and witnesses in case Wyatt backs out.”
“Make it clear that safewording negates his chances of re-engaging you in the future, or he’ll play you like a yo-yo on a string, Ana. Despite your current look, you and I both know you’ve got a soft spot for the men in your life.” Lex picked up his glass once again and winked at her.
“I need to finish rounds. Thanks for listening. I’ll consider what you said and decide later. Are you sticking around or leaving early again?” She asked, taking his glass, and stealing a sip of his favorite whiskey.
“Give me that!” he snapped, tugging it back, “I don’t know how long I’ll stay. Kaia is with Mom until Monday, and you know how much she loves being at Grandma’s. But what’s the point of me being here? It’s not fun anymore.”
Just like that her good spirits fizzled as she saw the hurt in his eyes. He was a broken man, who seemed to think he wasn’t worthy of anyone’s love anymore. To her knowledge his entire life was his daughter. As much as she loved her niece, Kaia, she knew it wasn’t a healthy life for her brother.
