Sledge Page 4

She used that hand to stimulate him while pulling at his jeans with the other. He pushed up on the balls of his feet and helped her push off his jeans. She took her hand off him long enough to pull the jeans down his legs and off his feet, tossing them to the side and letting them land next to his shirt. She took his cock back in her hand, opened her mouth, and slid her lips around the head of it. Fireworks exploded in his head and he groaned, loudly. She stroked him up and down while licking and sucking on the head. Finally feeling like he couldn’t take it a second longer he pressed down on her head. She got the hint and opened her mouth wider so that he could slide the rest of his cock into her mouth. He felt it go all the way to the back of her throat, the whole while she sucked, licked, and slurped. Fuck…she was good.

He was going to come…but he wanted to be inside of her before that happened. With a gasp of sexually charged frustration, he pulled her off his cock and up into his lap. He kissed her hard and urgently and then held her by her waist and pulled her up so that her tits were even with his face. He started by kissing her nipples. They were big, the size of silver dollars, and he kissed all the way around them before finally sucking one into his mouth. He sucked on the nipple, listening to her breaths grow ragged and uneven, and then he did his best to suck the rest of it into his mouth. They were too big, but he got as much of it into his mouth as he could and the harder he sucked and nibbled at it, the sexier the noises she was making. She was grinding her soaking wet pussy down against his cock. He could feel the wet swatch of fabric that still covered it, and he slid one hand down between her legs as he switched breasts and began to suck at the other. He let his fingers rub up and down her soaking wet slit and she wiggled down hard against his hand. He could feel how swollen her clit was, and she arched her back and moved her hips, trying to get him to concentrate on that area. He took her clit between his fingers and pinched it and then finally let his fingers get lost in her soft, warm, wet folds. This was the best fucking birthday present he’d ever had…maybe he’d start rethinking those celebrations in the future.

Sledge was lost in what he was doing when he felt her hands on his chest. She was shoving him back into the couch and standing up. She stood in front of him, removed her thong, and with her legs slightly spread, she arched her back so he had a good view of her smooth, beautiful pussy. He watched, mesmerized once more, as her hands went to her breasts. Standing in front of him, she started to squeeze and massage her breasts, using her thumb and forefinger to tweak her nipples. She pinched them hard and pulled on them, rolling them between her fingers. Then, with her left hand still on her left breast, she slowly let her right hand slide down across her flat belly toward her pussy. When she reached the mound, she rubbed it a few times, rocking her hips as she did. When her fingers inched down far enough to find her clit, she sighed loudly and let her head drop back with her mouth open.

He watched intently as she reached down with the left hand and used it to pull her pussy open, so he could see how pink and wet she was, and then using her right hand again she slipped one finger up inside of herself. She stood there on her toes, sliding that finger in and out, exploring her wet pussy. He could hear how wet she was as she began to stroke into it with two fingers…increasing her speed and slamming her fist up into herself. She was so wet and so excited that he could smell her lust in the air. The look on her face was pure ecstasy and he wondered if the masturbation was getting her off as much as the idea that someone was watching her.

He had to take his cock into his hand and stroke it slowly while he watched her. He couldn’t wait to feel that wet pussy wrapped around him. He watched her finger herself until at last she pulled her fingers out, slowly licked each one of them individually, and then moved toward where he still sat on the couch, jerking his own cock and then squeezing it to keep from coming.

Once Heidi finished cleaning off her fingers, she leaned down and once again her hot, wet tongue was on his cock. This time she concentrated on the head longer, licking the shiny knob with long, wet strokes, back and forth and up and down…it was still in Sledge’s hand and he pulled it up so that her tongue would press into the sensitive underside. She felt the shift and suddenly that hot tongue was licking down the underside of his shaft, and then gently teasing his throbbing sack before sliding back up. With a growl, Sledge pulled her off him and stood them both up. He didn’t say a word, but after another hot kiss, he spun her around so she was facing the couch, and then he pushed her forward, gently. She put her hands on the back of the couch and Sledge played with her pussy from behind with one of his big thumbs.

When he had her leaking juices down the insides of her thighs, he left her there and reached for his jeans. Once he had them in his hand, he let go of her pussy with the other and fished out a condom. He’d brought them with the intentions of fucking a stripper tonight…but he never imagined that he’d get the luck of the draw with this one. He ripped open the package and started to put the condom on, but before he did, he dipped his fingers in her once more, and then tasted them. She tasted so sweet…he wanted more, and he wanted this to last longer. She let out a little squeak of surprise as he grabbed her by the waist, pulled her up, and flipped her over so she was sitting on the couch. Without saying a word, he dropped to his knees and started on her neck. She pressed her head back into the couch, arched her back, and gave him full access to her neck. He kissed, licked, and sucked on the sensitive flesh, making her moan.

When he finished feasting on her neck, he moved his mouth down further, licking across her collarbones and then down to her breasts. He ran his tongue across the top of the full mounds and then kissed down to the nipples and sucked back and forth from one to the other, making her squirm and wrap her fingers up in his hair. She pushed his head downward, opening her legs wider as she did. He kissed down her belly until his face was at last buried between her legs. His first lick was delicious, and she dug her fingernails into his shoulders as he snaked his tongue up inside of her. He could feel the muscles in her pussy clamping down around his tongue; she shuddered at the thought of what his cock was going to feel like inside of her. She yelled out a curse when he sucked her clit into his mouth. He held it lightly between his teeth and flicked his tongue back and forth across it, causing her to pant and gasp loudly. It wasn’t until he felt her nails dig into him, and her warm juices flow out of her onto his tongue, that he finally brought his face up and looked into her eyes. Hers were hooded and her chest was heaving up and down. Sledge smiled at her and she said:

“Fuck.” He laughed. Yep, that about sums it up.

“Stand back up, baby,” he told her. He had to help her up thanks to her quivering legs. He held onto her with one hand and lined himself up with the opening of that sweet, soaking wet pussy and pushed forward…burying himself inside of her in one thrust. She screamed and gripped onto the couch with white knuckles. Sledge was too far gone for any soft, gentle loving. He gripped her hips so tightly that he was likely to leave fingerprints, leaned forward, and sucked her neck into his mouth and drilled into her, over and over. She came again, and the sounds she made as she did put him over the top. His orgasm was explosive, and he grabbed a handful of her dark hair and rocked into her until every drop was spent.

The sex was amazing. She was hot, sexy, and gorgeous. But as soon as they were finished, things between them were awkward and stilted. Heidi asked Sledge questions about where he was from and how he ended up being in California and part of a motorcycle club. He told her…the basics. Mostly his answers to her questions about his life were yes or no. He didn’t like talking about himself and he hated small talk. It made people think he was slow or stupid for the most part, and definitely not interesting. Thank God for Ash and Mack…and the club. They understood that things were happening in his head all the time without expecting him to be able to put any of it into words. They were the only people Sledge would ever be able to have a long-term relationship with…but that was okay, and he wasn’t surprised, or disappoi
nted, when Heidi said she had to go. He walked her out to her car, thanked her, and went back into his trailer and ate his birthday cake, alone. Some people might find that pathetic, or think he was lonely…but it was the way he preferred things and he didn’t mind being alone…for the most part.

Daria really didn’t want to do this. She spent all day out on a farm in the middle of nowhere. It was hot. She couldn’t believe how hot it was for September. They’d offered her lunch, but it was too damned hot to eat. Everyone on the set had been great and they’d treated her like she was royalty…but it had still been a long, exhausting day. When she got back to her hotel room, and into the shower, all she could think of was how badly she just wanted to put on her pajamas, order a bottle of wine, and veg out on Lifetime movies herself, the rest of the evening. She was not up for making small talk with a complete stranger. If Liza was here, Daria could wrap her hands around her sister’s long, skinny neck and choke the life out of her for this.

Whiny, annoyed, but dressed the part of a New York socialite, she now waited in the lobby of the hotel, still trying to think of an excuse that would both get her out of this and satisfy her sister so she didn’t have to listen to the inevitable lecture. She was a writer, for crying out loud. She made her living with her imagination. She was lost in it most of the time as a matter of fact, and here she was unable to imagine herself out of this situation she had no desire to be in. If she were a heroine in one of her romance novels…well, the truth was, if she were the heroine, she’d go out on the date. She’d probably find the man incredibly attractive. But she’d be shocked by the fact that he showed up in a four-wheel-drive pickup, dressed in jeans and button-down shirt and cowboy boots…almost like the hero in her movie. He’d turn out to be rich, since readers liked that, but it would be the kind of rich that came from a family who worked on their land sixteen hours a day. She found out through the sales of her books that she wasn’t the only woman who liked that. His hands would be calloused, and he’d be a little bit shy—awkward, even. He’d of course be captivated by her…the cowboy and the lady…and he’d have that voice…the deep, sexy one that sounded like whiskey would sound if it could talk. With a laugh Daria stopped her imagination from going any further. It was proof that she was spending way too much time alone, and in her own head. When she saw the black BMW drive up underneath the valet canopy her hopes were instantly crushed and she resigned herself to what would undoubtedly be a long, boring evening.

Even though she hadn’t looked him up on social media as her sister had urged her to do, Daria knew that the man who stepped out of the car was, beyond a doubt, Luke Branson. Dressed in an expensive suit and tie…and shiny shoes…he didn’t even acknowledge the young valet who tried to speak to him. His eyes, and the smile he couldn’t waste on the minimum-wage valet, were on her. Yes…he was good-looking like Liza said he would be. But it wasn’t her kind of good-looking. He was dressed in a designer brand suit and tie, and his hair looked professionally styled…and maybe highlighted. His face was free of even the slightest chance of a five o’clock shadow and there were no cowboy boots on his feet…only a pair of expensive loafers. His hands, even from six feet away, looked soft and manicured. With a sigh, she pasted a smile on her face and cursed her sister. Luke was practically her brother-in-law Dan’s twin. Her sister had picked a man for her that not only resembled her own husband…but was probably just as boring as him as well. The man likely never even heard of anything other than the missionary position.

“Daria! You look even lovelier in person that you do on your book jackets.” Lovelier. His use of that word was another reason to go running and screaming back to her room, put on her pajamas, and indulge in wine and ice cream. It was her experience that the biggest fakes used words like “lovely” instead of simpler and in her opinion more flattering words. With the smile still pasted to her face she said:

  “Luke, I presume?”

“Yes,” he said, taking her hand and bringing it to his lips. She tried not to cringe…What is this…a billionaire romance novel, for Christ’s sake? “I’m charmed.” Oh God, charmed was another one of those fake words…she thought she might puke. How was she going to get through dinner?

“It’s nice to meet you,” she said.

He kept his hold on her hand and led her toward the shiny car. For the first time he made eye contact with the young valet, who immediately rushed to the car and opened the door for her. She smiled at the young, hard-working boy and thanked him. Luke was already getting in his own side of the car, without even so much as tipping the valet for opening her door and helping her inside. The young man started to close her door and she did the first thing of the evening that she knew would probably turn Luke off…she took a twenty out of her little purse and handed it to the valet before he closed her door. The young man’s face lit up. “Thank you, miss.”

Luke didn’t even try to disguise his sigh as he put the car into drive and gave the young man an annoyed look. The kid closed her door and she settled into the butter-soft leather and pulled her seat belt across her chest. Luke the charmer was back as he smiled at her and said, “All buckled up?” She was, obviously…but she did remember a few things about charm school still. She smiled back and nodded…and they were off.

“So, first day of filming today?” he said, pulling onto the freeway.

“Yes. Yesterday I went with the director to scout a few more locations.” She’d gotten a tour of the quaint little agricultural area and she’d met some nice people. Everyone was so welcoming and excited to meet her. She was having a hard time getting used to her sudden celebrity status…but it was nice to meet people that appreciated her work. It had been another hot day, however, and between that and today, she felt wiped out. Of course, not eating much could also have something to do with it…but even now, the thought of food made her feel slightly sick. Trying to keep her part of the conversation going, she said, “Today we filmed a few scenes on a farm where they grow walnuts.”

“Well, I certainly hope they kept you provided with cold drinks and an air-conditioned ride; it was a hot one today.”

Great…he’s a captain of the obvious. She did disguise her own sigh as she said, “Yes, it was.”

He rambled on for the rest of the short drive, hardly pausing long enough to hear her answers to his questions. He obviously loved to hear himself talk…he obviously loved himself, period. That was apparent even before they got to the restaurant. She was thankful, however, when they drove up beneath the canopy in front of the pretty little restaurant. At least there would be hostesses and waiters or waitresses to break up the monotony of his voice…which was still droning on. He was telling her now that his “good friend” owned the restaurant and that he had been a “key player” in the financial backing of it. She wasn’t surprised. She was sure he would describe himself as a “key player” in at least a dozen more things before the night was over. God, I wish I were an only child.

As soon as they walked in, the pretty young hostess fell all over herself to greet them. Luke kept his hand on the small of Daria’s back, a polite gesture that annoyed her no end. He steered her along as they followed the hostess as if he were afraid she’d get lost along the way. Their table was near the back, far from the other people. She was disappointed, again. She’d been hoping they would be seated near the bar where she could at least catch snippets of more interesting conversation than she was sure she’d have with Luke.

As soon as they were seated, he ordered a bottle of the restaurant’s most expensive wine. That at least made her happy. Not that her wine had to be expensive, just that this night definitely needed wine. She was sad to see the waiter go to fetch it, however, because once again she was alone with Luke. She gave him another polite smile and reached for her menu. As soon as she touched it, his hand covered hers and he said, “Would you do me the honor of letting me choose for you? I know the chef…and I know that there’s a dish he’s famous for that’s not on the menu
. He only prepares it for special guests.” He winked at her. Jesus fuck, she hoped like hell they hurried up with that wine.

“Sure,” she said, with another forced smile. “As long as it doesn’t contain internal organs.” She laughed. Luke’s chuckle was fake.

“It’s a brisket, actually. He douses it in marinated mushrooms…” he went on, for way too long, and she pasted an interested look on her face and checked out in her head once more, trying to scan the restaurant patrons for interesting people without his noticing, and desperately hoping the waiter hurried up with the wine.

“Luke!” The booming voice startled her, and she turned slightly to see a rotund man with a handlebar mustache coming toward them.

“Marcus!” Luke stood up and the two men embraced before Luke turned to her and said, “Daria, this is Marcus, he owns Chateau Moran.” That was the name of the restaurant they were at. Daria smiled at the man and held out her hand. Instead of shaking it as she had intended, he emulated Luke and brought it to his lips. She wished that she’d put the tiny bottle of hand sanitizer into her purse.

“Luke,” he said, as if she were a portrait or a statue, “she’s lovely.” There was that word again. God, how she ached to hear words like pretty, beautiful, or even hot. Lovely should only be reserved for the novels she referred to as “puke” novels, the ones that were so sappy sweet that the reader was left in sugar overload after only a few chapters. “It’s such a pleasure to finally meet you,” the man said. “Luke has told me so much about you. I’ve just finished your first novel…” He fanned the air with his little pudgy hand and said, “Muy caliente!” He and Luke laughed, and Luke elbowed him.
