In closing, I would like to present a poem. This poem will take you on a journey through the prophecies in the Book of Revelation. It will provide you with a chilling reminder of the wrath to come, but it will tell you also of the riches of the grace available to you if you choose to accept it. I wrote this poem after finishing my first book, Apocalypse Soon. I am not a poet. However, after putting the first verse on paper, the rest simply seemed to flow. The poem is, to the best of my knowledge, Biblically accurate. Notes have been included at the end for reference purposes. Because these events are still in the future, I suppose this is a prophetic poem. May God be with you – The Author.
The Apocalypse
I
Upon the Isle of Patmos (1)
In prayer on the Lord’s Day (2)
The Spirit took me speedily (3)
To an era far away.
II
He showed me things in visions (4)
Which no man can see
Of days to come in future (5)
Which verily shall be. (6)
III
This day is nigh upon us (7)
I feel convinced to say
Be ready or be warned (8)
Man’s Sin the Earth shall pay. (9)
IV
The raptured church shall usher in (10)
A time before unknown (11)
The man of sin shall take control (12)
The world shall follow him. (13)
V
With subtle words (14)
And sleight of hand
And lies that shall deceive (15)
Upon their heads the mark to take (16)
That brings them to the grave. (17)
VI
The saints shall stand (18)
Upon that day
His Word to uphold (19)
Their blood will spill (20)
She’ll drink her fill (21)
But in the end be told.

For they shall be rewarded (22)
Who bend but do not break
To kiss the ring of Satan’s son (23)
But trust in God’s namesake. (24)
VIII
Blood and fire and famine (25)
Clouds black and noisome too (26)
Death will stalk the living (27)
The plague will prey on you. (28)

The Antichrist will rule the world (29)
His will to bow the knee (30)
His priest who sits upon the hills
Will blind their eyes to see. (31)

The multitudes who throng the globe (32)
In tumult e’er shall be (33)
The seas shall roar (34)
The Beast will soar (35)
Devouring bond and free. (36)

Black smoke of torment (37)
Ne’er shall cease
For those who take the mark (38)
The worm of death

EPILOGUE
In bygone days, miners used to carry canaries with them when they were working in deep shafts. If any toxic, odourless gases were present, the canaries would exhibit signs of distress and the miners would receive a timely warning to return to the surface before being fatally overcome.
Between the time I finished writing this book and its publication, a number of dramatic events have occurred, chief among them being the attacks on New York and Washington on September 11, 2001. In the aftermath of these acts of terrorism, the world was on a knife-edge, and a large-scale military campaign was mounted in Afghanistan by the United States and its allies to root out those believed to have been responsible for planning these outrages.
The conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians has also intensified alarmingly in recent times and the Middle East is now closer to all-out war than for many years. The military action to topple the regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq has added to the precarious situation in the region.
Someone once observed that on occasion you do not choose a book – it chooses you! My prayer is that the information contained in this volume will change your life for the better. But with knowledge comes responsibility. You may be able to help others by passing on what you learn. Many will have no interest in such matters and it is likely that these same people will be left behind to go through the time of tribulation known to us as the Apocalypse.
This book can be a legacy for those who find themselves caught up in the events which shall unfold in the dark days ahead.
Canaries are dropping dead before our eyes, but the world at large is not paying any attention.
“Remember the former things of old; for I am God and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying: ‘My counsel shall stand’.”

28 Five denotes Divine Grace. It is 4 + 1. It is God adding His gifts and blessing to the works of His hands. The Hebrew Ha’aretz (the earth) by “Gematria” (i.e. the addition of the numerical value of the letters together) is a multiple of five. The Gematria of Charis, the Greek for Grace, is also a multiple of five. It is the leading factor in the Tabernacle measurements. Six denotes the human number. Man was created on the sixth day; and this first occurrence of the number makes it (and all multiples of it) the hallmark of everything connected with man. Man works six days; the hours of his day are a multiple of six. Athaliah usurped the throne of Judah for six years.
