I could hear the beeping and whirling of, what seemed like, medical equipment in the background as Devyn sniffled beside me. I could feel her warm tears, as they fell from her eyes and onto my lifeless hand. It was true that, even in a coma, you could still hear everything that went on around you, and right now, I was thankful for that.
I was sure that my girls, nor my family, were aware that Mesha had paid me a visit and confessed to knowing exactly who it may have been that shot me. Some chick named D that she’d been dealing with. But what I couldn’t understand was why the bitch wanted to come after me. I was no threat when it came to Mesha. No doubt, Mesha was a snake ass bitch, but I knew, for sure, that she indeed cared for a nigga, despite, how bad I’d treated her. So, even though, I couldn’t respond, I was inclined to believe he. But it was a little on the pathetic side that she would take advantage of me, as I lay here in this hospital bed. Who knew my dick would still work under these circumstances?
I needed to wake my ass up, already, so I could get to handling that shit. This chick D came at me out of the blue, but she’d fucked up when she didn’t make sure that I was dead. As soon as I could open my eyes, she was going to be first in line to feel my wrath….
