Marc arched an eyebrow. “And once again, you remind me where Riona got her sense of sarcasm.”
“I think we should change the subject.” Molly Dade arched her back, sticking out her breast. Her perky, perky, petite but perfectly portioned tatas. “How do you like the dress?”
“It’s nice. Now tell me how it would look even better on my bedroom floor.”
Her smile fizzled. “Used that line already, have I?”
“Twice just last week. I’m not going to bed you, Molly. So just, stop trying to tempt me every chance you get.”
Molly leaned into him, pressing her head against his shoulder. “Say the word, and I’ll ask Samuel to remake my demon body to represent me at the age I was when I died.”
As she spoke, her hands circled her breast, keeping his eyes fixed. He didn’t want to look. Shouldn’t have looked. But, of course, he looked.
He went hard in zero-point-sixty-nine seconds flat.
“No, you’re good.” He moved his hand between the two of them. “Molly, it’s not that I don’t find you attractive. It’s just that I, you know...”
She lowered her eyes. “Boinked my daughter?”
“Not the word I would have chosen.”
Molly laughed. “If I restricted myself to men Riona didn’t touch, I never would have gotten any action at that retirement home.”
“Molly....”
“Marcelo...” Molly singsonged his name as she placed her hands on his cheeks and pulled his face to hers. “You’ve spent your whole life telling yourself ‘I shouldn’t have that.’ Stop. You can have this. All you have to do is to tell yourself that you can.”
“A world of no between can and should, Molly. It’s never going to happen between us. Now, if you’ll excuse me.”
In a second, he ported. Leaving her on the couch alone. Molly sighed and turned, watching as the image in the glass swirled again. The cherubic babies turned to mist, and a new shape emerged. A handsome, dashing, sexy-as-sin man with black hair, olive skin, and deep brown eyes appeared, his back leaning against a wall, his prominent erection looking like it was trying to hail a cab all on its own.
Molly settled in for the best programming she’d seen her whole long life. Marc’s hand hesitated at his side for only a moment, before the right crossed to the front to take the tent down and put it back in the bag.
“And they said idle hands are the devil’s playthings,” she said as she watched him carry on, her name on his lips. “Given this show, I’d beg to differ.”
I know. You think the series is done. Technically, you’re right. But, did you ever wonder how Jerry and Riona first met and fell in...to bed? Look for Hung by the Fireplace: When Jerry met Riona, coming soon.
You might have noticed, too, that the question of what happened to Riona’s twin brother was never answered. So, what happened? Is he still alive? Yes, he is, and the life of Quinn Arthur Quarters will be coming to your e-readers in 2019.
About the Author
Killian McRae would tell you that she is a rather boring lass, an authoress whose characters' lives are so much more exciting than her own. She would be right. Sadly, this sarcastic lexophile leads a rather mundane existence in the San Francisco Bay Area. She once dreamed of being the female Indiana Jones, and to that end she earned a degree in Middle Eastern History from the University of Michigan. However, when she learned that real archaeologists spend more time lovingly removing dust with toothbrushes from shards of pottery than outrunning intriguing villains with exotic accents, she decided to become a writer instead. She writes across many genres, including science fiction, fantasy, romance, and historical fiction.
