“Baby, you don’t have to.” I knew what she was trying to do, but I wanted her to know I never expected anything from her.
Luca lifted her eyes and what I saw in those blue depths made my heart jack-hammer against my chest. She was determined to do whatever she set out to, no matter how much I would tell her it wasn’t necessary. I would be a fucking moron to stop her.
She released my cock, moved down my legs, then gripped my sweats, gently pulling them down enough to free me.
“Lucian,” she purred, then licked her lips, leaving behind a thin coating of saliva glistening in the light. She pulled her hair over one shoulder and took me in her hand. “You have to show me what to do.”
“You just… Oh my god,” I groaned when she licked across the tip. “Fuck!”
She did it again and again, then in one long stroke, she ran her tongue up the entire length. I whimpered behind my closed mouth, my head pressing back into the pillow when she took me in her warm mouth and slowly lowered her head, the pressure of her tongue on the underside so damn right I had trouble holding on.
She released me and asked, “Is that good?”
“Fuck yes,” I breathed, then sucked in a lungful of air when she wrapped her lips around my dick, working up and down and following the movement with her hand. “Luca.” I ran my fingers over her head and through her hair, making the mistake of looking down and watching my cock disappear inside her mouth over and over.
She sighed as she sucked me, the small vibrations of pleasure shooting through me like I’d been fucking electrocuted. I couldn’t hold on much longer if she kept that up.
“Luca.” I would regret interrupting her, but I had to. “Jesus, baby,” I whined when she looked up but didn’t stop. “I won’t last.” She slowly blinked, her willingness to continue making it so much harder to stop. “Come here.”
Luca released me with a pop. “What’s wrong?” I shook my head then beckoned for her to come to me. “Did I do it wrong?”
When she crawled up my body, I took her face in my hands. “A few more seconds, and I would’ve been done.”
“Really?” She grinned, looking pleased with herself.
“Fuck yeah, but I’ve got other plans that involve more than a great blow job.” I slid my hands up her tight body, cupping her pert tits and squeezing them until she groaned. I wasted no time in relieving her of her T-shirt and her white bra before sitting up and taking her in my hands and sucking her hard nipples into my mouth.
“Oh, Lucian,” she whispered, her head falling back and her hands gripping my shoulders.
I ran my hands over her skin, smoothing over her back and down to grip her ass. When she squealed, I lifted up and flipped her onto her back. I pressed my mouth to hers once before resuming my exploration of her body.
“You need to lose these,” I said, grabbing her leggings and pulling them down her legs along with her underwear. I grabbed a packet from my pocket before losing mine, pushed her legs apart, then sheathed myself in preparation for what was to come.
“Lucian…” Luca’s eyes were wide when I shifted down, staring at her pussy. Her fair curls were neat, but they did fuck all to hide how wet she was.
I grinned, pushed my tongue out, then lowered my head showing her exactly where I was going. I licked up in one long stroke, tasting the sweetness of her center, circling around her bud and suckling on it. Luca cried out, her hands gripping the covers as though she was trying to tear them to pieces, holding her breath and closing her legs against me. I pressed my palms on her thighs, opening her to me, seeing my target and going in for the kill. I devoured her, using my tongue to tease her clit until she couldn’t stand it, then pushing inside to taste her juices.
“Oh my god!” she cried again and again, her hand reaching down and gripping my hair.
She was going to blow any second, and I slid a finger inside her, working in and out, feeling as her walls gripped me. I added another, my dick fucking throbbing with the need to be inside her as I listened to her getting off on what I was doing.
I curled my fingertips, stroking against her rough area and she broke, squealing and tensing as she came around my fingers while I licked her clit. As she came down, I lifted up, positioning myself and pushing into her still pulsating entrance, going all the way until our bodies met.
Luca wrapped her arms around me, her eyes glazed over and her jaw slack. “Fuck me, Lucian.”
I didn’t need telling twice. I pulled back and thrust inside of her, over and over, her hands gripping my ass and mine cupping her tits. I moved faster, the sounds she made taking me higher and higher, the pressure building up at the base of my spine, gripping my balls, tightening them.
I buried my head into the side of her neck, licking and sucking the skin as I came, every agonizing inch of me contracting as my cock thickened and then spilled inside of her as she spasmed around me once again, whispering my name into my ear.
I caught my breath and looked into her eyes, pushing back her messy hair from her beautiful face. “You made me feel better,” I said, kissing her.
“So did you,” she replied, gently touching my face. “I’ve dreamed of you doing that to me.”
“Yeah?” I smiled, wondering about the details.
She nodded and grinned. “Just like at Grace’s but it was you and me.”
“And?”
“The real thing is so, so much better.”
I chuckled, then pulled out of her. “I’m glad I exceeded your expectations.”
Once we were cleaned up, we lay together on her bed, still naked.
“Can you promise me something?” she asked while tracing the lines of my stomach, careful around the purple marks.
“I’ll try,” I replied. I couldn’t promise most things, but some I knew I could, but admitting those things to myself would be harder than anything she could ask.
“Promise me you’ll stay safe.”
I paused from drawing circles on her bare hip. “As safe as I can be.”
“No,” said, staring at me until I met her eyes. “Lucian, even though you won, you’re… I need to know that whatever it is you’re doing, that you’re safe.”
I couldn’t look at her, I wouldn’t, so to answer as truthfully as I could, I pulled her into my chest, cradling her to me. “I’m safe, baby, and keeping you out of this shit means it’ll stay that way.” She kissed my chest once in response.
I fucking hated lying to her. I’d lied to everyone else, though. My parents, teachers in high school when I’d had my first few fights. At first, they’d though my dad was beating me. Lying to them was a piece of cake, lying to Luca was tearing my fucking heart out, and there was only one explanation for it.
I couldn’t say that; she couldn’t know, because the second I told her what the fuck was running through my head, I knew there was a slight chance I’d have to take it back.
“I didn’t tell my dad about my car,” she said, breaking me from my thoughts and my heart skipped. “With the things he’s having to deal with, I didn’t want to add to his stress.”
“What about it?” I asked, stroking over her hair like I didn’t know what she was talking about.
“I know somebody took it.” She turned and draped her arm over my chest, resting her chin on it to look at me. “I don’t care what anybody says. I left it by the front at the start of school, and then at the end of the day, it was by the tree where we talked.”
I didn’t say a damn word. Anything that would come out of my mouth would only prove I knew something, but on the other hand, staying quiet made me look like I didn’t give a shit. “What do you think, happened?” I asked, finally, dreading what she would say.
“You know, with the thefts going on, I really thought my car had been targeted—the others obviously were—but mine…” Luca looked past my shoulder, then back at me, her stare tense. “I got it back, Lucian. Right away. The others turned up days, sometimes a week later, and usually miles away, but mine… It couldn’t hav
e been gone more than a few hours, and it was brought back to the place it was taken. A little risky, don’t you think?”
“If that’s the case, then it was probably some stupid ass prick who didn’t know whose car they took.” I shrugged. “When they realized it was yours, they put it back.”
Luca’s eyes sparkled, and her lips pursed with humor. “You know who took it, don’t you?” I swear I felt the color drain right out of me. “They’re afraid of you, and they shit their pants.”
There I went again with the silence, and instead of lying through my teeth like a good little criminal, I said absolutely nothing.
The sweetest smile spread across her face, fucking melting me. “I guess being with you has its perks.”
It hurt like a bitch, but I pulled myself from her side as fast as I could and rolled over her to cover her back. “It does, does it?”
Luca lay face down, lifting her head with her arms supporting her. I slid a hand underneath, caressing her tit, gently squeezing and then pinching her nipple. I worked down until my fingertips met the magical place that made her squeal.
“Yes, it does,” she said, biting her lip as I rubbed up and down her slit, trapping her clit between my fingers.
I pushed further, seeking the part that was growing wetter with every second, and I circled the opening. “I can tell,” I breathed next to her ear before gently biting down on her shoulder.
Luca moaned when I pulled my hand away, but I needed both to prepare for what I was going to give her. Once I was covered, I nudged her legs apart and eased myself inside of her. She took a deep breath as I slid all the way in, pressing my pelvis against her ass.
“You’re going to scream, Luca, I promise you that, so get ready to press your face into the pillow. We don’t want the neighbors overhearing, do we?” When she groaned, I gripped one side of her hip and thrust deep inside of her.
I sure as fuck kept that promise. It took no time at all to have my name repeated over and over, the muffled screams still loud through the thick pillow.
“Luca, honey, I’m home!”
My eyes shot open and I bolted upright. We’d fallen asleep, and I had no idea what time it was.
“Fuck, fuck!” Luca whispered, jumping off the bed. “Lucian, my mom’s back.”
I leaped up, snatching up my clothes and putting them on, forgetting for a split-second I was sore as fuck. “Shit, my car’s across the street,” I said, rushing to the window. My car, not one of Blaine’s weaknesses, stood out from all the others because they were all parked in their driveways.
“She’s coming up the stairs,” Luca, said, panicking while fixing her hair.
“I’m sorry I was so late,” her mom said, then there was a knock on the door. “We had to go through all of the files for the new investments.”
Luca’s eyes were wide, darting around her room. “No problem, Mom,” she replied, and I was impressed at her ability to sound calm. “I fell asleep.”
“Oh, sorry, honey, I’ll leave you to go back to bed.”
I released a huge breath when the footsteps grew quieter then a door shut. “I’ll have to go out the window,” I said, wincing at the thought of jumping down there.
“I’m sorry,” she rushed out. “If you wait a minute, my mom will probably get in the shower and you can just walk out.”
The moment we heard the water running, Luca led me down the stairs. It was like a military operation, sneaking around corners, and checking our surroundings before making a move.
“Will I see you tomorrow?” she asked once we got the door open and checked for sounds of approaching cars.
“Of course, baby,” I said, then took what I needed before leaving her behind with her fingers to her lips. I got in my car, and with one final check, I pulled away from the curb.
I pressed the buttons on my dash, and called Brady. “Hey,” I said when he answered.
“Where have you been?” he asked. “It’s almost midnight.”
“Luca’s, but I’m on my way home.” I grinned to myself, then every ounce of happiness drained from inside of me when a car I recognized drove past. I would recognize the sickly yellow sunshine shit anywhere. “I’ll be ten minutes.” I hung up then checked my mirror.
Darcy wouldn’t know where I’d come from, I had no doubt about that, but it had gotten too fucking close that time and I couldn’t take any more chances like that. Blaine’s obsession started to look appealing again. It had been the only way I could get around without being noticed, and now I needed it more than ever.
Luca
“Miss Marsden, are you paying attention?”
“Sorry, what?” I blinked quickly, and focused on Mrs. Walsh at the front of the room.
“I understand that English isn’t as interesting as your lives outside of school, but if you want to pass this class, I need your full attention.”
“Sorry,” I said, determined to concentrate on the text on the paper in front of me. It was so difficult, though. For the past few days, Lucian and I had spent as much time together as possible. We’d been in bed for a lot of it, but we’d also been getting to know each other. He and Brady had grown up in West Norton, and their parents were business moguls who were CEO’s of a huge firm in the city. They spent a lot of time out of the house, which gave Lucian and Brady free rein to do what they wanted. I couldn’t imagine spending huge amounts of time away from my parents, but he assured me that they made time for them whenever they could, and that they saw them most mornings before they left for the office.
Of course, I was still in the dark about his fighting. He finally gave up one little thing, insisting that the people who ran the bouts didn’t like when their fighters were distracted, and that I was the biggest distraction in his entire life. I finally understood what he’d meant when he’d previously told me they would use me to get to him. They weren’t nice people, and the nastier people there, from the opposing side especially, would taunt him about me to try to make him mess up so he would lose.
I couldn’t do that to him—I couldn’t have that risk hanging over his head. I hated seeing him swollen in places and covered in bruises and cuts, so to have someone want to make that even worse, sickened me. If they didn’t know about us, they had no fuel, and I was completely fine with that. It wasn’t anything different than he’d already told me when we got together, but the look in his eyes when he explained it to me again was one of desperation. He seemed like he needed, almost desperate for me to stop talking about it. It was as though just the thought of me knowing anything more was a terrible thing. I wasn’t a detective like my dad, but I knew pain when I saw it.
One thing that was running through my mind, though, was if this was so bad, why did he continue? But what did I know? I couldn’t ask him to stop doing something he’d been doing long before I met him. It was like asking him to stop being Lucian, and I loved him just as he was.
I loved him. Fuck, I really did, and just admitting that to myself had my chest aching and my throat closing over with emotion. I was deeply in love with Lucian Moretz, with every fiber in my body.
‘Park at home, and get ready for me to pull up. I’ll be in a silver car across the street.’
The text had come after lunch, and just as well, because the flutters in my stomach would’ve stopped me eating for sure.
Another car?
“Ask no questions, tell no lies,” I said, repeating something Brady had mumbled when Lucian and I were talking.
‘Okay. Are we going somewhere?’
I waited for his reply. When it never came, a heavy weight sat on my chest. Three hours had gone by, and still no message from Lucian. I drove home, my phone propped against my dash in case he contacted me.
I pulled into the driveway and opened the garage as usual, rolling in and lowering the shutter before getting out of the car. I grabbed my white jacket and slipped it on. When I turned around, I looked out of the windows and spotted a silver car pull up across the street. My insides flip-flop
ped when I saw it was Lucian. He looked around, checking up and down the road.
I bolted through the house, not stopping to greet my dad and talk about my day. “Gotta go!” I called back over my shoulder. “A friend is waiting for me.”
“Don’t stay out too late!” he yelled just before I slammed the door.
The second the car door closed, Lucian took off.
“I was worried,” I said while he checked his mirrors. “You never texted me back.” I stared at his profile. He’d hadn’t fully healed from the last time, the cut on his lip gone, but there was still a little bruising around his eye.
He glanced at me, then took my hand. “I’m sorry, babe, but I had something I needed to do and I had my phone on silent.”
“Okay.” I looked out of the window at the scenery zooming past us.
“Luca,” he said, then sighed. “Baby, please.”
“I was worried, Lucian,” I whispered. “All afternoon, I felt sick. After what you said about the other people—”
“I know, and I’m sorry,” he apologized, rubbing across my knuckles with his thumb. The same one that he’d used the day before to make me call out his name while his tongue did things to make my eyes roll back.
“Were you with them?”
His head snapped to me, then back to the road. “No, I was with Brady.” He paused, then licked his lips before speaking again. “We’re going to our place. The guys are there, but I’m taking a different route.” I had no idea where he’d taken me through, but we approached the drive from the other direction.
When he drove up to the house, a silver, and a blue car were on the driveway, but the garage was open. He drove inside, then pressed his fob to close the shutter.
“Lucian—” I couldn’t get any more words out. His lips crushed mine, his mouth working my lips apart to deepen the kiss, his hands cupping my face as though I was going to bolt.
“I missed you,” he said against my mouth. “I wasn’t in danger, baby, but if I were, you would be the first to know, okay?”
