  Mighty Tur rose red with anger,

  “How dare he? I will suffocate him with my own hands, this youngster! Terter was my father. He won't get away so easily. Gamar sent horsemen to all great cities. Let it be known that those who join Urta will be destroyed. Command all available forces to gather in front of my gates. To arm young and old, everybody who can hold a sword. There will be blood.”

  Zantur Gamar disappeared quickly down the corridor.

  “Chief, the lower villages along the mountains have joined you. The tribe acknowledged your power. Some because of fear, others because of personal interests…”

  Satyr-Sydyk stood up pleased by the news and started pacing thoughtfully,

  “I'm told that there was a coup in Dakush, and the new Dul-Erhu has no rights to the throne. Now there are riots there. Not all cities have recognized him yet, and Draco will not leave without a fight. We can take advantage and expand eastward with impunity. We can safely attack the tribes because Dakush is neutralized. Gather the army tomorrow, I will personally lead it. We are going to invade our neighbors.”

  At dawn, their personal servant of the Inds entered their chambers, awakening both men,

  “Follow me! The master of all is calling you!”

  The chief and Ugo followed the man, still sleepy. After a deep bow before the throne, Bain kissed the ring of the outstretched hand of Great Jah San Bera Kalmut Dokun. The ruler of all stood up to his full height for the first time and motioned to follow him. They went on a wide terrace. Jah raised his hand, and a hundred and fifty thousand warriors roared in the valley. Chief of the Sarani remained speechless at the sight of them. From the blows of the martial drums shivers passed through his body,

  “Lead them...”
