ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Louise Hawes has written over fifteen books for readers of all ages. While living in the northeast, she received two New Jersey Writing Fellowships and the New Jersey Author’s Award. She is a founding faculty member of the nation’s first MFA in Writing for Children program at Vermont College. Her short fiction has appeared in anthologies and journals in the United States and Canada.
