A door opened at the right side of the room and they all turned to see the baby heavy woman peek out. A smile spread across her face when she got to Fancy’s face.
“Oh! You must be Francina Hawkes, please come in.”
Fancy gave a nod to the guards and entered the large office, “Hello, it’s nice to meet you,” she said as she turned back to the woman as she closed the door, “And you are?”
“Camilla Evans, and it’s a pleasure.” She took Fancy’s offered handshake and waved towards the desk at the facing plush chairs.
Fancy paused at the site of an intricate tattoo on Camilla’s wrist.
“Oh, do you like it? I just got it a few months ago.”
Fancy let her hand go to allow her to turn it over and show off the full design, “It’s beautiful.”
“Thank you much!” Camilla smiled and moved around her to sit at the large desk.
Fancy took a seat across from her and the feeling of Déjà vu filled her as the woman rifled through her desk to pull out a paper pad and a pen.
“So, Francina-”
“Please, call me Fancy.”
“Oh, nice! I like it.” Camilla smiled, “So, Fancy, what makes you want to join the Savage Menagerie as the head of security?”
“I learned that I enjoy problem-solving in fast-paced environments and feel that I can get all that I could ever need as the head of security at the Savage Menagerie.” Fancy did her best not to down out her answers as she continued through a litany of questions.
They were all standard questions and amounted to a speedy interview. Camilla was thorough in her background check and asked many questions about how Fancy handled her most recent cases.
“Well, I think that’s all we need for us to make an informed decision.” Camilla stood and leaned over her desk with her hand out.”
“Fancy stood and took it with a matched smile, then scrunched her brow as pain erupted in her knuckles. The sound of water hitting the floor filled the room as Camilla gritted her teeth and hunched over.
“Oh, damn!” Realization struck Fancy as the woman released her hand and gripped the desk. She rushed around it to help her to the floor. “Let me get the guards to help,”
Camilla grabbed her hand in another vice grip, “No, just call my husband.” She wheezed.
Fancy looked to the desk to find a large purse hanging from the draw handle. She had to turn her body to reach for it since Camilla wouldn’t release her fingers. Pouring out the contents, she riffed through the mountain of items and finally found her sleek phone.
“Hey Google, call Xavier.”
“Is that Xavier mobile or Xavier work?”
“Mobile,” Camilla grunted.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t get that.”
“Dammit, Google!” Camilla yelled through a contraction.
“It’s okay, take a breath and try again.” Fancy cooed as she rubbed her palm along the woman’s clenched hand. That shit was getting painful.
“Is that Xavier mobile or Xavier work?”
Camilla breathed in slowly and said, “Mobile,” as she stared death at the blank screened phone.
“Okay, calling Xavier, mobile.”
The screen lit up and a naked, muscle-bound chest filled it. Camilla sighed, and Fancy got a small reprieve from the grip of her hand.
A deep voice answered, “This isn’t a good time Cinnamon bun. Can I call you back in a bit?”
“No, you got a baby that won’t wait much longer.”
“Who is this?” The voice yelled, then grunted, “Doesn’t matter, where are you?”
“In the security office.”
“I’m on my way.” The line went dead.
His voice sounded so familiar. Flashes of a two-legged bull running into a line of creatures as she shot into them lit behind her eyes. She remembered pain in her side coming from an oversized mallet then the large silver tail smashing the assailant’s body. Fancy blinked away the fantastical visions.
Camilla heaved and took a big breath, “I know you have a lot to take in right now, but can you please help me?”
Fancy set the phone down and took the pleading woman’s hand, “Yes, ma’am.”
Silver followed Xavier as he stormed towards the door leading to the event hall. His nephew was on the way! The first child born out of their truce with the Earth goddess. There was nothing that could make him forget about how lost he felt without Fancy remembering who he was, but this lifted his spirits.
A growling yell penetrated the walls of the small security office Camilla was currently working from to stay as close to Xavier’s area as possible. His friend pumped his arms to reach the door and burst in.
Xavier knocked Frank out of the wall and bounded into the office. Silver tasted peaches in the air and paused. The scent of pheromones in the air was full of Camilla as she pushed to get a baby into the world. But nothing could hide the light scent of Fancy.
He entered the office through the now broken door and found Fancy behind the desk as Xavier sat down to cradle Camilla. He took her hands to the relief of Fancy and she stood and turned to him.
“Hey, we need some medics and you shouldn’t be in here with a full costume on.”
Silver’s heart sank as she turned to leave the room. She truly didn’t remember him and was back to thinking that he was in costume. He’d had such a tiny amount of hope in him that it was shocking to feel the hurt at knowing it was not remotely possible for her to remember him.
Fancy re-entered the room, “We got medics on the way, Camilla.”
“Good, now check me again.” Camilla panted through short labored breaths, “I don’t think he’s going to wait for them.”
Fancy kneeled between the woman’s legs and turned to Silver before lifting her dress, “Can you give her a little privacy?”
Silver moved to the side and fancy peered under her dress, letting out a long whistle.
“Ooooooooohkay, lets, umm, let’s push.”
Silver moved to the small closet and pulled up some clean tablecloths as Camilla screamed behind him. He had to do something, help somehow. Fancy took the white cloths and spread them to push under Camilla.
“What are we having?”
“A boy, Xander,” Xavier replied as he hunched over his moaning mate.
“Okay, Xander is almost here, give me a good push Camilla.”
Silver moved behind Fancy. He’d never seen the birth of anything outside of an egg. This was the perfect time to get closer to his mate and learn about the miracle of mammalian births. It looked painful, yet too interesting to look away.
Silver lowered himself to Fancy’s side and curled his tail around her to offer support. She didn’t pull away or turn just focused on Xander’s arrival. The little bulls’ head was almost free and Silver could already see the nubs for his horns through his dark brown fur.
“He is going to be a strong one bother!” He smiled at his best friend.
Xavier looked up with a toothy grin, “I knew he would have horns already!”
“Horns?” Fancy was coaxing Xander out with her hands cradling the base of his head, “You two need to-” She cut her words when his head popped out and there was no mistaking his fur covered face.
Xander wailed as Camilla growled through another push, getting him out to his shoulders. Fancy was still holding him, but not moving. Silver wrapped his arms around her and placed his hands under her own.
“Come on, we have to help this little calf into the world.” He pricked her neck, only injecting a small amount of venom. Just enough to ease her nerves. Finding out that a minotaur could be born from a human had to be a lot to take in.
Tension melted from her neck and she gripped Xander’s shoulders and pulled him from his mother. Silver helped her wrap him in another tablecloth as she whipped his face and big ears.
Xander nuzzled her palm and she grinned, “He’s beautiful Camilla,” she said and paused when she looked up, Xavier wasn’t a man anymore. His form was that of a dark brow
n bull-man, a minotaur, who was reaching for his son. Fancy handed him over and sat back on her knees.
Silver leaned over her shoulder, “He’s still connected to something in there.”
“Ummm…That was all I know.”
“Coming through!”
They both turned to the shattered door as Viktor barged in. The surly lion was quick to shoo them out of the way so he could handle the rest of the birth. Silver turned Fancy to the door and walked her out. Her steps were robotic as he guided her towards a shower room.

Fancy followed Silver into the showers in silence. This place was like nothing else she had ever encountered, but it all felt familiar. The snake behind her was a comfort, even when a big ass red furred lion dude stepped into the room to take over. The bull-man was a big softy under Camilla and it seemed as if this was nothing new to her.
“Have I been here before?” She asked as Silver turned on one of the shower heads.
“Do you remember anything from two nights ago?”
“I…I don’t know, there are blurs. How did you know to pick two nights ago?”
Silver turned to her searching eyes, “I need you to remember that for yourself.” He unbuttoned her jacket and pushed it off her shoulders.
You see, this, this shouldn’t be comfortable. Fancy didn’t stop him as he moved to her shirt, “I don’t know you.”
“Do you let anyone you just met help you undress?”
Fancy bit her lip, “No, but that would mean I would have to know you in one way very well.”
Silver moved to her pants and yanked them down along with her panties. Just like he did before. Before? Her body was getting hot and she could see his budge pressing under his scales.
“Can I see your fangs?” Fancy moved closer
He opened his mouth and allowed them to descend from the roof of his mouth. When they were down, Fancy used two fingers to measure their distance, matching them to the raised and half-healed punchers on her neck.
“You bit me?”
“Yes, out of stupidly thinking you needed protection.”
Fancy grasped his hand and examined his claws, “Are you the reason my body aches?”
“Do you remember me doing anything to make sure you remembered me in the morning?”
Fancy could feel the phantom pressure and stretch from her well-worn pussy. He had to have been fantastic.
“Maybe a little,” She whispered and laid her hand against his mound, “You should show me. Maybe that will help me remember.”
Silver grinned as he grabbed Fancy’s wrist and turned her around. She sucked in a jet of air as he pushed her under the warm water, her back flush against the wall.
“I think you remember.”
“Yes, there are flashes. I remember a fight.”
Silver poured some soap onto a rag and started to scrub at her hands, “There was an attack on the menagerie, old allies turned enemies.”
“Why?” She lifted her arms, so he could clean under them.
“They don’t want us looking to humans for mates.”
She jumped from his gentle touch on her breast, “Did you find your mate?” When he tried to pull his hands away, she pressed them down for him to continue.
“You tell me.”
She looked him in the eyes as he slowly rubbed her lower belly, “You all beat them back, at the portal.”
“Only a gorgon’s mate can break from his poison and remember what was hidden from her.” Silver dropped the rag and flicked out his tongue, “The scent of your body is intoxicating.”
Fancy smiled as he leaned in for a kiss.

The End
ABOUT Naomi Foxx
Naomi Foxx is a budding author who has been engulfed by the world of erotica. After writing short stories for fun and taking many creative writing classes, she decided to take her hobby seriously. Follow her as she begins her journey. When she’s not reading or writing erotica, she’s probably researching everything about sex, dancing, or cooking.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the world of the paranormal and love reading erotica based on it. The only problem I had with the current selections, were the weak female leads. It always seemed like it was impossible for the heroine to be a strong person alongside the hero. It didn't matter if one, the other, or both were a part of the paranormal world, the female was the weak link. I know characters are supposed to grow into a new person by the end of a good story, but it does not mean they have to be molded solely by their partner. Why not have two strong characters who share weakness that make them rounded individuals? That's what I set out to do. My goal is to bring diversity into the world of erotica, not only in appearance, but in attitude and outlooks as well.”

Thunder rumbled the ground under Camilla and was smacked off her. I fell beside her and convulsed in the throws of death as a black and orange ax pinned it to the ground. She yanked up the ax and turned to take on the other shadows. The hilt of the ax began to glow and melt over her hands and she dropped it into the mud.
Hot liquid sprayed over her face and blinded her eyes. She wiped her face as she stepped back, slipping in the mud and falling to her ass. She pushed her back into the wall. Something bigger than the hounds snatched up the last one and it cried out just before a snap of bone. The tearing of flesh couldn’t be drowned out by the rain. She watched as the horned creature threw the two halves of the mangled body behind him.
Camilla stilled herself as it turned to plant glowing brown eyes on her. His body stood tall and strong as steam rose off his heated skin. The thick build of a man that gained his muscles from everyday work, not the gym.
A septum ring glinted in a flash of lightening that illuminated his face. His head was a strange yet beautiful blend of man and bull. His muzzle was short and complimented his thick lips. Thick hair framed his face and his head was adorned with two large horns at the sides. Was this a costume from the attraction? It was a fantastic one since it could still look authentic in the pouring rain. So fantastic it was sexy.
Something was off, he had just ripped some big ass dogs in half. They couldn’t have been fake. Their teeth surly weren’t made of rubber as the still bleeding bite marks on her arm proved. This minotaur was real and powerful.
Fear planted her in place as he stomped towards her. The baton had disappeared in the mud and Camilla was defenseless. He snatched up her shirt and yanked her into the air.
“Let me go.” She grunted as she grabbed his wrist and kicked into his chiseled chest. He stood almost a foot taller than her 5’10” frame and easily held up her weight. Her struggling did nothing to move him.
Camilla slapped at his face and he grabbed her wrist. His glowing eyes were trained on hers and the fight drained out of her to be replaced by a tightening in her chest. She had to get away, but her body refuse to continue to fight as he pushed his body into hers, planting her back against the wall.
Letting her shirt go, he buried his muzzle into her neck. The smell of oranges cinnamon and ginger fill her nose and she did the same to his neck. The feel of his fur against her skin sent shivers to her core. Camilla pushed her fingers through his thick hair and tried to wrap he
r legs around his waist. The bull-man stopped her with his thigh between her legs.
Camilla moaned as she rubbed her sex against his leg. What was happening to her? Why was she doing this? He smelled so good. She gritted her teeth and tried to pull away, but he put a hand under her chin and made her look at him.
“Finish,” the bull grunted and slid his black tongue across her lips.
