  2 American Floyd Landis won the 2006 Tour, but failed a doping test during the race and was stripped of his title in 2007.

  3 Austrian Bernhard Kohl won the 2008 Mountains classification but failed a doping test and was stripped of his title.

  4 Italian Franco Pellizotti won the 2009 Mountains classification but was found guilty by the UCI of doping violations and stripped of the title in 2011.

  5 Spaniard Alberto Contador won the 2010 Tour but failed a doping test during the race and was subsequently stripped of his title in 2012.
