  Part II: Love

Love, the wondrous fine-tuning between two souls, the mysterious force that unites two very different persons into oneness, where one feels the other more closely than ever. Each believes in the other, each sees himself or herself as indifferent from the other, and most importantly, each sees the other as an inextricable component of existence, of reality, of nature.

From the edgeless extent of nature, we delve into this mysterious realm, this realm of love. I haven’t found my love of life yet, and you may not have either. But whatever it is, always do know that there is most possibly, or to be even more optimistic, almost certainly, someone special awaiting you in the same way you await him or her. And one day, you both will be one, the symbol of unity. And all this is due to love, whose unselfish, divine light reveals the world in an all-new way before us.

From the harmonic dance of small particles to the stately Waltz performed by binary stars and planets, we see that from the oneness of nature emerges duality. And that duality, philosophically speaking, attempts to transform back into oneness. Thus, man and woman, the two wings of civilization, feel this beautiful feeling towards one another. In the name of this beautiful, divine unity, let us delve deeper into the ocean of reality, to enter the rosy realm of love.

  I. My question to my love

Love is beautiful, and even more beautiful is the one you love. Love marks the beginning of a journey, a joyous journey into lands that await us. But to make it happen, we must choose our companion well, someone who is the right partner in our way ahead. So choose well, my friends, for appearances can be deceiving. But when you feel for someone, emotion overrules logic, and this mixture of question and request appears in your mind.

  My question to my love

My love, my heart’s precious rose,

Will you lay your trust on me?

Will you decorate my life’s garden,

And be the love, of my destiny?

My love, your stare ends my sorrows,

Your words fill me with joy,

Your soothing touch drives my fears away,

And my blackness your colours destroy.

My love, you are the light of life,

You are my colour in a life gray,

You are my Sun, my Moon and stars,

You are my entirety of the Milky Way.

My love, take my hand and come,

Toward a merry future let’s both rush

Together, let us ride into bliss,

With promise of love that unites us.

  II. Her departure, forever

We all wish our loved ones to live forever, to share with us each moment of happiness and sorrow alike. But the laws of nature are strict, and one day our beloved passes away forever, to some unknown existence, or maybe to nothingness. We know not, for sure. But the sorrow of losing the love of life is inexpressible. This is possibly how we feel, when we lose the one we love.

  Her departure, forever

Sitting by the side of my beloved,

I weep, tears of blood I shed,

On her lifeless bosom, in eternal sleep she be...

Her limbs unable to embrace me more,

I painfully gaze upon death’s dark door

Through which she went forever away from me...

Like the wintry snow, she’s serene and still,

Rosy lips lacking smiles that could kill

Deepest of my worries, my sharpest pain...

My tears fall on her cheeks, drop by drop,

Won’t she anymore, with her kisses, stop

My cries, my tears, my sorrows again?

Winters of death come and end,

As springs’s fair winds arise and lend

Life to the lifeless trees everywhere on earth..

But what winds of spring can bring her back?

Sighing, with my strength’s evident lack

I wait for death to stop my heart...
