I sat with that a moment. I leaned over and kissed him, hoping all I felt for him was in my gesture. I didn’t think I could say the words, not after I was hurting from the last person I’d said I loved, but I was pretty sure I felt it for Dain. “Tell me. You see all of me. To be mine for real, I need to see all of you.”

“So be it,” he agreed. I yelped as he flipped us, pulling out of me as he surrounded me with his larger body. “I do not want a fairy woman.” He fisted my hair and gave a tug, smiling evilly when I gasped. “They are not so honest with their lovers. I adore that about you, Sera. And this hair. No fairy woman naturally has this gorgeous, thick, blonde hair that I love to feel against my body.

“I love your hair and how you grew it longer for us. No fairy woman would be so selfless. She would care for what she wants, tease me with the knowledge I wanted it longer.” He moved his hands to my breasts and squeezed. “No fairy woman has these breasts, full, supple, and perfect. Rosy nipples and squeals as you do when I bite them.”

“I don’t squeal,” I argued, my cheeks heating at the praise.

He raised an eyebrow at me as he leaned over and bit one. I tried to keep quiet, I did, but when he pinched the other, something came out of my mouth. I wasn’t sure it was a squeal, but yes, fine, it was a girly noise.

“You are so real that you are magical,” he breathed, kissing away the sting. “Centuries and centuries of fake and glamour and magic, and the most magical person I have ever met is you with your honesty and hope. No fairy woman would ever give me that.” He kissed down my body, stopping at my stomach. “I never wanted children.” I flinched, and he kept my hips still. “The moment I was disowned, I knew I would never have children.

“It would be horrible for them to suffer the labels and laughter of being born to a disgraced noble, disowned and never to see his family. I could never do that to a child. You have given me little brothers and a family by adopting the boys. I hope maybe you will adopt again when someone needs saving.” He kissed my stomach again. “You could never carry my children as a wolf, Sera. What you learned hurts me because it hurts you.

“But there are many ways to have a family. We both know that. I do not want a fairy woman to give me a fairy child. None would want me disowned probably unless they were as well, but that is not the life I want. I want a life with you, an exciting, freeing life. Adopting children or not, I am happy with the life I have. I have no desire for children of my own, hurt as you were by family and not longing to reproduce.”

“Okay,” I accepted, feeling it from him strongly. He didn’t want kids just as I didn’t. He agreed with me that the world was overpopulated and too many unloved and lost that could be saved instead of focusing on making little versions of ourselves. I wiped under my eyes and nodded that I believed him. I went to sit up, but he shoved me down, taking his turn at being rough.

“I am not nearly finished,” he warned, smirking at me. My eyes went wide as he spent the next five minutes telling me everything he liked about every inch of me between my legs. None of it was Dain gentle or polite. Hell, I was blushing so hot I could have melted all the snow in Chicago.

“Okay, I get it,” I panted, his tongue teasing me.

“I’m not done,” he growled, biting me somewhere I hadn’t known was good. Then he kissed along my right leg. “No fairy woman has legs like these. You’ve seen how short and petite they are. I love your height and athletic body. I love that I am bigger than you but you can stand next to me in heels and be my equal in height, above me in so much else.” I gave a yelp as he flipped me over, kissing my right butt cheek. “And this ass.

“Gods above, Sera, your ass is a thing of beauty. Watching you walk away is so pleasing. The firmness and shape of it is nothing like I’ve ever seen. Your body is better than any fairy woman. Curved in the right places, firm where most are not, but never flat. No, none of you is flat, and the strength in every inch of you is so sexy.” He moved over me, nibbling on my ear. “Let me mount you, Sera.”

I glanced at him over my shoulder and nodded. I’d never denied him doing it like that. I liked it better.

He gave me a full smile, his eyes dancing with heat and mirth. “Ask your wolf, Sera. I want to mount you. I want to be your man and mount you, submit to me tonight and let me show you exactly how I want you, want to be with you.”

I didn’t even have to ask, my wolf and siren both nodding with me, turned on like I couldn’t ever remember feeling before in my life. Apparently I liked Dain a bit aggressive.

He shoved himself in me roughly, smiling when I cried out in pleasure. “You are mine just as I am yours, we both know it. Siren me, Sera. Make me yours forever.”

“No,” I whispered, looking away. “I don’t want to tie myself to people again.”

He growled and snapped his hips hard. “Do not put me in the same category as Riley or Tristan. I have never failed you. I never will fail you. They were mistakes, accidents when you were new and didn’t understand. Now you understand. I can feel how much your siren wants to make me yours. I want the same. We both know I am yours. Make it official. Love me enough to siren me instead of a servant who swore allegiance to you.”

“I’ve never treated you that way,” I argued, moaning as he moved faster, leaning over me and nipping my neck. “I hate when you call me Milady like I own you.”

“You do own me,” he hissed, teasing my ear. “We both know that, but yes, I am not your slave. Then siren me, and never will I call you that again. Make me yours for real like we both want. No tricks, no egging you into what you don’t understand. Make the choice because you love me. Even if you never say it, you love me , Sera.”

I shook my head, not arguing that I loved him, but not able to give in. “We wouldn’t be as we are. I wouldn’t sense what you want. Noah lost out on that. I can’t get images from him. I would stop seeing what you wanted too.”

“Noah does not complain about that,” he murmured, understanding I worried about that. “And neither would I. Being able to hold you at night or whenever I wanted is well worth it. You would still smell and sense much.” I kept shaking my head, and he kissed my neck, trying to calm me. “I would just have to tell you everything I felt. I can be blunt. I’ve shown that. I promise I will tell you everything and never leave you to be confused or lost.”

“I don’t want to hurt again,” I choked out, hating that I was fighting against what we both wanted so much because of something that wasn’t his fault.

“I won’t hurt you,” he rasped, moving slower, gently touching me. I shook my head, and he sighed, kissing my neck. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t push you. I didn’t mean to. You’re in so much pain, and if I was yours, sirened to you, not just sworn to you, I could help more. It would be my place to protect you as I would be truly one of yours. I love you no matter what, Sera. Take the time you need, and I will still always be here praying for the day you change your mind.”

And that was what made me change my mind. I believed him. I believed him down to his soul that he would wait forever. I saw in his mind how he looked at other women, wanting none of them, truly believing he had a goddess within his reach who he would worship always until the day I cast him from my side. Because he believed I would.

He knew I would. His family had. Others had, and they were nothing compared to me. I would eventually kick him to the curb as others he’d loved had, but until that day he’d never stop trying, never stop loving me. I saw it all in his head, every drop of his love for me practically drowning me. I saw how he wanted things to be, loving me, always at my side, fighting together against the world and every injustice in it.

  I wanted that too.

“Yes,” I breathed, praying I wasn’t making a mistake or letting my hurt—either from Brian or Riley—cloud my judgement. But I had been so, so right when instinct in Vegas had originally let me pick him, push to have him in my life, and I had believed it would help me then too.

Dain froze. “Yes? Yes you’ll s
iren me? I’ll be yours?”

“Yes,” I repeated, nodding. “Are you sure, Dain? It’s forever . If you plan to change me or something and then can’t, we’ve tied ourselves together—”

“I know who you are, Sera. You know who I am. This is completely different.” He smiled at me when I glanced at him over my shoulder as if to say he’d shown me a lot new that night. “I’m still me but with a bit of a darker side. Is that bad? Have you not enjoyed it?”

“Yes, as long as it’s just a side and not a need to be my boss.”

“No, I very much like you being the boss of me always,” he chuckled, licking my lower lip in a sign of submission. “I just needed to know you would submit to me sometimes too.”

“You’re the boss of me a lot too,” I reminded him. I cleared my throat. “And you always do it well, do what’s best for me.”

“Because I love you.” His tongue ran around the inside of my ear. “Are you sure, my queen? Do you truly want me at your side forever? To own me as no woman has or will ever?”

“Yes,” I growled, the idea of another woman even touching him, taking him from me making me flip shits. I bucked against him, and he got the idea, getting back to the sex. “We go together, and it all comes out, don’t fight it.”

“Never, I would never fight you, Sera,” he swore, hugging me tightly as he pulled us up on our knees. “I will forever serve you as yours at your side, no longer a servant but as yours.”

I cried out as I came, him doing the same as my power flared and slammed into him. His magic came out too and took me for a ride, both of us enjoying it a bit too much. I felt the planks build between us to make the bridge of the bond. The whole time he slammed into me, both of us orgasming over and over again, his magic changing how it worked though. The bridge was different, stronger than with Noah.

It wasn’t a bridge so much as an enclosed fucking skywalk between skyscrapers with supports and beams. When it was finally done, we collapsed to the bed together, his weight feeling good instead of smashing me.

But apparently we were far from done.

We rolled onto our sides, panting as we stared at each other. He licked his lips as he took a long, heated look at my debauched body, clearly liking what he saw.

“That was different from Noah,” I warned him. “It was a different bridge. I can’t explain it.”

“I know. I felt it,” he murmured, pulling me closer. “You surrendered to me just as much as I did you, accepted me, not just sirened me. You are mine now, Seraphine Thomas, just as I am yours.”

I licked my lips, not sure I liked the sound of surrendering to someone, but I knew he meant it more in the lovey dovey sense. “And what do you want to do about that?”

“Everything,” he growled, mashing his mouth to mine as he rolled us out of the bed. “Feed, Sera.”

I did, deeply as he took me up against the wall.

Next on his balcony while it snowed, his hand the only thing keeping me from screaming and disturbing the neighbors.

Then in the shower to warm back up.

On the counter of the bathroom because apparently the bed was too far away, the sounds of our wet skin slapping together turning us both on.

I honestly lost count of how many orgasms or times we had sex. It was a glorious blur of everything fun and pleasure, so much fucking pleasure of feeding and feeding power to him that I’d never felt anything like it in my life. But it was how I knew I’d made the right decision to siren him. Dain was forever.

“Sera? Come on, Sera, wake up,” someone growled as they smacked my cheek.

“Stop it,” I grumbled, trying to shove them away, groaning in pain instead. “Hurts.”

“Yeah, I know, you’re totally on empty,” Hagan worried. “Sera, you need to feed and now .” He mashed his mouth to mine, and my siren apparently agreed, taking greedy gulps of energy from him.

Reagan went next, and I turned my head, not sure why they were being so pushy. “Sera, something went wrong. It’s Sunday.”

I blinked around, rubbing my eyes and glancing towards the balcony, seeing the sun was setting. So it definitely wasn’t Friday anymore. “Sunday?”

“Hurry and feed because Dain is in trouble,” he demanded.

My eyes went wide as I looked at Dain on the bed next to me, sensing how low he was. I turned back to Reagan and fed heavily, knowing he could take it. Then I scrambled over to Dain and pushed power into him, not even waking him by doing it.

I felt more power near and glanced around, looking back at Hagan and Reagan when I couldn’t figure it out.

“Hestia is helping Alok, Tasar, and Luca,” Hagan explained, understanding what I was sensing. “Something went wrong and it affected them too, Sera. They don’t have as much power as you and Dain combined though, so they passed out. When Alok recovered enough to wake, he called us, realizing something was going on.”

“They weren’t sharing energy as you guys were either, just getting hit with your power like when you do it at the club,” Reagan added. My eyes went wide, the implication clear, and he nodded. “They’re fine. Sore, and had a bit too much fun, but Luca was willing and has done—he’s been with men. Not to say he—he was willing, don’t worry.”

“Okay then,” I muttered, pushing my hair off my head and wincing when I realized the state I was in. “It’s really Sunday?”

Hagan nodded. “What do you remember?”

I opened my mouth to answer but then growled, realizing who else was there. “Get the fuck away from me. I don’t ever want to see you—”

“Sera, it wasn’t what it looked like,” Brian promised, looking away from me and the scene before him.

  “Bullshit! You fucking—”

“She’s Jimmy’s fiancée,” Brian cut in. “Jimmy, my little brother?”

My mouth fell open. “You’re having an affair with Jimmy’s fiancée?”

“No, no ,” he sighed, letting his forehead fall against the wall. “He was the Thanksgiving and recent drama. He doesn’t want to get married yet now, not because we’re having an affair. It’s—”

“His baby brother got wind of his sexcapades and fun with you, and he got jealous and realizes he doesn’t want to settle down yet,” Reagan cut in, bluntly explaining. “He knows the fiancée and went to talk with her. She was returning the ring.” I gave him a look that I thought that sounded like bullshit. “He’s not lying, Sera. We would know, and he’s not lying. I don’t know what happened but—”

“I can’t…” I trailed off, shaking my head. “Hestia, can you give Dain more energy?”

“Yeah, coming,” she called back from another room. “Goran and Zlat just arrived to juice you and me up. What happened?”

“I have no fucking idea,” I admitted, pushing to stand. My legs wouldn’t hold me, and I almost went right back down. “Dear fuck, what did we do?”

“Umm, I would guess each other and a lot,” Hagan muttered, looking a bit uncomfortable.

Honestly, I felt how I would guess a two day long sex marathon would make someone feel. Every inch of me hurt, tender and sore, burning in sensitive places and my body letting me know I’d had all types of sex from the way every opening ached. Goran appeared and took me from Hagan, promising to help me shower as he fed me.

I moaned when I looked at the counter in the bathroom, flashing memories, and shaking in his arms as I had a mini orgasm.

His eyes were comically wide when I met his gaze in the mirror. “Did you just…”

  “I have no idea.”

  “What the hell happened here?”

“I don’t think sirens are supposed to siren fairies.” I had another mini orgasm in the shower, sort of echoing the one I’d had in there before as I got images of it.

“Oh yeah, this makes you naked and wet in my arms absolutely easier for me to focus,” he drawled, quickly washing my hair. He was very clinical about the whole thing at least, hissing a few times as he saw or felt the state I was in, f
inding tender spots when I flinched. “You have a huge bruise on your back. You’re too strong to bruise.”

“Too depleted to heal,” I muttered, moaning as I remembered how I’d gotten the bruise.

“I slammed you up against the wall when you said I wasn’t going deep enough,” Dain said from the doorway, looking worse than I was, but having the same reaction I did to the memory. He gestured to his neck. “You bit me when—”

We both had echoes then, Hestia the only reason he stayed standing, her eyes bugging out too. “Okay, maybe let’s try not to remember until you both regain strength and fill up the tanks.”

Goran turned me so I stopped looking at Dain’s neck, loving to see my marks on him and he was mine. I shook myself out of the memory, feeding heavily from Goran again as we finished up.

“You’re not showering him,” I told Hestia. “He’s mine.”

“I didn’t even kiss him, just gave him energy,” she promised, nodding slowly.

“I’m already wet,” Goran sighed, trading me for Dain.

  “Thanks,” we said together.

Hestia helped me dry off, wrapping my hair in a towel before finding a sweater dress I’d left over there since I didn’t want anything touching tender parts. I hobbled out of the room and down the stairs like a little old human, thrilled when I saw Zlat in the kitchen setting out tons of McDonalds. Hestia told me he’d hurried for whatever was quick and calorie filled to refill us all. I ate two Big Macs astoundingly quick, dying of thirst as well.

“What happened?” Alok asked, all three of them at the table stuffing their faces too. “We heard you come over. We heard you have fun with Dain, and then suddenly we were drowning in your power.”
