“Damn it! I’m going to miss it! Make sure you record it for me,” she replied.
“Okay, bet!” I said, hanging up. Shine had Lobster, snow crab legs, pasta alfredo, mussels and a lot of other shit catered to the house. We all sat down at the dinner table and ate. Jameer walked in with Narshae and their son. Sameer shook his head. Grandma Catty and Sheri grilled Narshae but didn’t want to spoil the moment.
I gave Jameer dap. He hadn’t been coming around like that. I think it was because Sameer told his secret. I still loved the nigga the same though. The doorbell rang. Caroline got up to get it. She walked in with a white woman.
“Guess who’s coming to dinner?” Gary said then Sameer chuckled.
“Everyone this is Jessica. Her father is the best plastic surgeon around,” Caroline boasted.
“Well, you might want to tell him to fix your face then!” Siah said to her.
“Seriously? You bring her here knowing that Tejah is here? Yo, like what the fuck is wrong with you?” Shine asked her.
“She is better than that trash sitting next you. I dug up her information. A few years ago she was arrested for prostitution. She was selling her ass. I guess she didn’t tell you that, did she?” Caroline asked, laughing.
“I can’t do this! I can’t do this!” Tejah said, rushing out of the house.
“You stupid bitch!” Siah said charging into her mother. I pulled out my phone then started recording it. I had to remember that day. Shine got up walking over Siah and his mother as they rolled around on the floor. He followed Tejah out of the door.
Sheri, Jameer and Sameer tried stopping Siah from choking her mother.
“Why is Kelly Pits here? Bitch, I’m team Chardonnay!” Gary said to the white girl, Jessica. I didn’t know what he was talking about.
“Yesssss, bitch! I love me some Chardonnay. Did you watch the last episode?” Narshae asked Gary.
Gary put his hand in Narshae’s face. “No, you don’t, cunt! I don’t deal with messy people and, hunty, you are messy! I done heard about your dirty ass!” Gary said to Narshae. Rick sat down, still feeding Vogue small pieces of chicken, ignoring everybody.
Catty got up then started popping everyone with a dustpan. I stood from the table then walked out of the house. My family was dysfunctional and people wondered why my cousins and I had fucked-up ways of talking to people.
“Tejah, what the fuck is you tripping for?” Shine yelled at her in front of the house.
“Your mama! She doesn’t want you with anyone. Then she’s talking about shit she doesn’t know!” Tejah screamed with tears falling down her face. Jessica walked out of the house, clutching her purse.
“You stupid bitch! You just keep popping up knowing he doesn’t want you, huh?” Tejah asked Jessica.
“Milk does the body good!” Jessica spat. Tejah slapped her in the face. Shine picked Tejah up and threw her over his shoulder like a small child. Jessica tried getting up in her heels but she fell back down.
“Can you help me up?” she asked me with a red handprint on her face.
“Hell naw! You shouldn’t have brought your ass over here,” I said. A crack-head picked up Jessica’s purse from when she fell and took off down the street.
I got into my car then called Latavia.
“Where you at?” I asked her.
“At our house, in bed, waiting for you. Hurry up, Kenjay. My fingers are getting wrinkled from playing in my wetness!” she said.
“Damn! Are you that wet?” I asked her. She moaned over the phone. Shorty’s feelings were going to be hurt after she found out I was not fucking her again. She had to get her mind right first.
Leodonis called me telling me he had an idea to get back at Lenny’s bitch ass. I was all ears! I was just going to go and kill the nigga since we knew where he lived. But Leodonis had something better.
Sameer
I limped into my crib bloody and bruised. I won the fight but it wasn’t an easy one. I won one hundred thousand dollars but a nigga almost lost his life! I had to wrap my legs around the nigga then pull his arm out of the socket in order to get full advantage. I went to the bathroom then coughed up blood.
“Sameer, what the hell is you doing coming in this late? I waited up all night for you! I was ready to get up and go home!” Lo-Lo fussed, walking into the bathroom.
“What the fuck happened to you?” she screamed, helping me out of my clothes. I lost my balance and fell into the tub.
She went into the room and I could hear her talking on the phone. I tried getting up but my body was sore. She came back into the bathroom. She started nursing my wounds and rinsing me off. She went into the medicine cabinet and just started pulling all types of shit out that I didn’t know I had. I closed my eyes as she worked on me. I felt bad because she was carrying my daughter. We just found out earlier what we were having. There was a knock on the door. She left the bathroom to answer it. O’Shea and Kenjay came into the bathroom to pick me up. They helped me into my bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow I felt relieved.
“Nigga, what the fuck happened? Lo-Lo didn’t do this shit to you, did she?” Kenjay asked. This nigga thought he was my father! Shine was the only one who knew what I did. He found out because he came to one of the arena a while back on a night I had a fight. He wasn’t too pleased, but after a while, he accepted it.
“Yo, what happened? You need to go to the hospital. I think your ribs are bruised,” O’Shea said.
“His ribs are bruised!” Lo-Lo said standing in the doorway with sadness in her eyes.
“I’m killing that nigga! Who the fuck is he, Sameer? What nigga did this to you?” Kenjay asked, raising his voice.
“Chill out, nigga, and give him a chance to talk,” O’Shea said. Kenjay grilled him.
“No, fuck that! I want to know who this nigga is! Matter of fact, it looks like it was more than one!” Kenjay.
“Don’t worry about,” I said. Kenjay grilled me then walked out of the room.
“Yo, you need to stop fighting! Those fights are deadly,” O’Shea said after Lo-Lo left the room behind Kenjay.
“How do you know about it?” I asked him.
“I saw you one night! A lot a niggas in the industry bet on those fights! But anyways, I went one night with Rich. You need to take that and try to be in the UFC. At least it’s not that deadly! You have a daughter and a baby on the way. Your girl almost had a heart attack. Nigga, you look terrible. You need to think about that. I’m out though. Kenjay and I got some shit to take care of. I’ll check up on you later,” he said, giving me dap then leaving out of the room. I’m glad the nigga didn’t tell Kenjay. I didn’t want Kenjay knowing shit about what I did. I will always be his little cousin in his eyes.
Lo-Lo stitched the cut up above my eyebrow, as she continued to clean me up. She injected something in my arm. I hated needles!
“It’s for the pain, Sameer,” she said with tears in her eyes.
Two weeks later…
Lo-Lo took off from work for a few weeks to take care of me. I could barely feed myself. She had to help me with all of that. Even on the days she didn’t feel good because of the baby she still helped me.
“I’m sorry, Lo-Lo,” I said to her. She ignored me as she put my clothes in the washer. She wasn’t saying shit to me. All I was getting was the silent treatment. Kenjay wasn’t saying shit to me either because I refused to tell him what happened.
Someone knocked on my door. Lo-Lo answered it and it was Daytona with Teagan.
“Where that nigga at? He’s over here shacking up with your ass while my daughter misses her daddy,” she spat at Lo-Lo. Teagan ran to me then jumped on me. I winced a little— the pain wasn’t as bad as it had been. I could walk without limping if I took my time.
“Hey, baby girl! Daddy missed you!” I said hugging her. Then I looked at her clothes and wasn’t too pleased. She had on an outfit that looked like it fit her a year or so ago. Her face was sticky and her hair was a mess.

sp; “Daytona, why the fuck is my daughter looking like a mistreated foster child? I give you five thousand dollars a month! My daughter shouldn’t look like this!” I said hurt. I wanted to choke the fuck out of her!
“Five thousand isn’t enough! You got this fly-ass condo laid the fuck out and you stay driving in some top-dollar whip! You stay flossing! I need more money!” she said.
“Get a job, bitch! That’s plain and simple. What the fuck he need to take care of you for? You are not his woman! Girrlllllll, you just wait till I drop this baby! I’m going to beat your ass so good you are going to follow me around like you was doing Narshae!” Lo-Lo said laughing. Daytona pushed Lo-Lo over the chair. I told Teagan to go to her room and she did.
I grabbed Daytona by the neck, slamming her into the wall.
“Bitch, have you lost your mind? She is fucking pregnant with my seed! Get the fuck out! Don’t bring your ass back! You don’t want to be a mother? Cool! I can take care of her!” I said, pushing her out of the door. She lost her footing and rolled down the steps. I laughed at her dumb ass because her skirt flew up, showing her bare ass.
“Don’t fuck with me, Daytona! Stay the fuck away from my door!” I said, slamming it. Lo-Lo was getting up.
“Are you good?” I asked her.
“Yes, I’m fine! That bitch waits till I get pregnant to try me. I got something for her, you just wait and see,” Lo-Lo fussed.
“Daddy, I want to see Rylan!” Teagan said.
“Okay, cool! Let me put on some clothes and put you in the tub,” I told her.
“When are you going to tell me what happened?” Lo-Lo asked me.
“I don’t remember, Lo-Lo!” I said, walking away from her.
“Do you think you are well enough to go out?” she asked me.
“Yeah, all I need is some pain pills and I will be good!” I told her.
After I got dressed, Lo-Lo washed Teagan up and combed her hair then we left. Lo-Lo stayed behind because she and Narshae really didn’t get along. I pulled up to Narshae and my old crib. Jameer’s Lexus was parked around the front. I took a deep breath but I missed Rylan myself. I was still pissed he wasn’t mine, but I couldn’t just pretend I never had any dealings with him.
I knocked on the door and Teagan knocked with her small fist. Jameer opened up the door with a scowl on his face. I stood there staring into a face that looked exactly like mine.
“Teagan wanted to see her brother, I mean cousin,” I said. He grilled me.
“Young, like on some serious shit, this isn’t about me. It’s about the kids. I’m not tripping off that shit. I miss Rylan too,” I said. He opened up the door, letting me in. I shook my head because this used to be my home. Narshae wasn’t shit! Jameer had never been the type to dish out money on a female. This shit was going to get old because Narshae was a money hungry bitch.
Narshae walked out of the bedroom then picked up Teagan. I will admit that she was a way better mother than Daytona. There had been times where Narshae picked up Teagan and did things with her, things Daytona should have been doing. This situation was a mess, not to mention, I was with Narshae’s sister first! I think that’s why I fell for Lo-Lo quicker than I expected. She was a breath of fresh air and she wasn’t the type to deal with shit like this.
“Don’t kiss her on her cheek, Narshae! I don’t know where your mouth been,” I said then Jameer grilled me. This nigga was starting to get under my skin heavy!
“Where is Bria at? How does she feel knowing her nigga is fucking her friend? Y’all been together since seventh grade right, Jameer?” I asked him.
“That’s none of your business!” he said. I chuckled.
“Can I take Rylan out with us? Is that okay with you?” I asked Jameer. This was one dumb-ass nigga!
“Can I come?” Narshae asked me.
“Sit your ass down!” Jameer yelled at her.
“Young, you in love with her too?” I asked him.
“Yo, just take Rylan and go ahead about your business or else…” he said.
“Or else what, nigga? What are you going to do? Beat my ass? Yeah right, nigga! I doubt that! I should tell you get the fuck out of my crib but I’m going to let you share that too. You like feeling like me, don’t you?” I asked. He pulled out a gun. Narshae grabbed the kids and went into the room.
“Yo, I should kill your bitch ass! Keep talking shit to me, nigga!” he said.
“Yo, if you are going to shoot me, shoot me! But you know if you don’t, you are a dead nigga! You crossed the fucking line!” I said. He stood up, walking towards me with the gun pointed to my head.
“Don’t come over here anymore!” he said. I laughed.
“You saw that shit too, huh? Your bitch still wants me. You can never be me, nigga!” I said. He put the gun down then stormed out of the house. This nigga was crazy!
“Narshae, get your ass out here!” I said. She came out of the room, peeking around the corner.
“What the fuck are you leading him on for, huh?” I asked her.
“Now you know how it feels, huh? That’s how I felt when you was fucking my sister!” she screamed.
“I was with her first! That was on you! You came on to me! Yo, get my kids ready, so I can bounce! I don’t give a fuck anymore! Rylan is my son! My fucking son! I was raising him! If Jameer is doing his job, why am I still giving you money for him?” I asked. I know I was mad at first but I didn’t give a fuck! Rylan was mine! When I found out that he wasn’t my son, a part of me died! I was too attached to him. I cried like a bitch to Lo-Lo a few times about that shit!
Narshae started crying. “Can you please just come back home? I’m sorry, Sameer! I swear I am! I just wanted to hurt you. I ended up catching feelings for him. I’m not in love with him like I am with you. I was only with him because you was screwing around with Lo-Lo. He can’t fuck me like you can,” she said. I shook my head.
“That’s fucked up, Narshae. That nigga is in love with you. Then you betrayed Bria. Yo, you foul. You know how bad she wants to give that nigga a baby,” I said, grabbing Rylan’s diaper bag and Teagan’s hand.
“I’ll bring him back in a few days. I’ll holla at you!” I said leaving out.
“Dada!” Rylan said then giggled. I picked him up then placed him in the car seat. Although Jameer was my twin you could tell us apart. I was marked up with tattoos. This nigga had none. I pulled out of the parking lot and smiled at the sounds of my kids clowning around in the back. Teagan loved her little brother. Fuck Jameer’s bitch ass! I was going to fuck that nigga up if I caught him on the streets. That nigga put a gun to my head over some hoe ass bitch!
O’Shea
Corey, Kenjay and I snuck to the basement of Malore’s house. It took us a while to figure out the house plan but we did. From an old underground tunnel a mile away we were able to get inside of her house undetected.
We had three big duffel bags filled with kilos and guns. Also, Corey’s sick ass had Rissa’s head in his backpack!
“Yo, why the fuck you got her head in a duffel bag?” Kenjay asked, laughing. I grilled him because that shit wasn’t funny! It was borderline sick! My stomach started getting queasy.
“That nigga is in some kind of cult!” I said. Corey chuckled.
“This is 2015. Y’all watch videos of people getting beheaded. Why the fuck y’all niggas act like it’s impossible?” he asked.
“We just don’t expect a black motherfucker to be doing that type of shit!” Kenjay said.
“Exactly! That’s why I do it! I bet they are looking for some type of terrorist after they find that bitch’s body in her house. I bet their suspect is a foreign older man who is trained in some type of special ops!” he said smirking.
I shook my head. I tripped over a rug in the basement. There was something hard underneath.
“What the fuck is that?” Kenjay asked.
“A safe,” I responded.
Corey inspected it. “This is one of those old model safes!” he said, trying
different codes. I gave him Britain’s birthday then the safe popped open. This nigga didn’t love his daughter but used her birthdate. Dumb-ass nigga!
Corey pulled out a black bag. He dumped the contents in his hand and there were diamonds.
“What the fuck this nigga been doing? I’m ready to start acting retarded! One of y’all niggas is going to have to push me in a wheelchair!” Corey said.
“Damn, they are icy! Are they real?” I asked.
“Hell yeah, these are real! I think he was telling the truth about being in Africa. I’m sure these are blood diamonds. That’s why we couldn’t find him. Britain’s daddy is sitting on a gold mine. Then the nigga get SSI checks. I should cut that nigga’s fingers off! Fraud-ass nigga!” Corey fussed. Kenjay laughed.
