“I hate to tell you this...”
He frowned. “What?”
“You're going to have to carry me anyway.”
“Really.” It wasn't a question. Instead of picking me up bridegroom style, like most men would have, Jasper turned his back to me and hunched down a few inches.
Hopping up, I wrapped my legs around his hips and one arm around his neck. “Just like old times,” I said near his ear.
“Just like old times,” Jasper echoed, carrying me effortlessly into our bedroom. “Welcome home, Finley Carson.”
