I shrugged. “I guess I realized how much of a pussy I was being.”

Cameron laughed. “I told you over and over, bro.”

We arrived at the joint and walked inside. As soon as we walked through, the smell of booze, sweat, and men wafted to my nostrils. It reminded me of my time in college and when I moved to the big city. I’d been in every strip club in the city, except this one.

The girls danced on the stage, spinning around poles while their goodies hung out. The music was loud, and the cigar smoke rose in tendrils toward the ceiling. We grabbed our seats then ordered drinks from the busty waitress.

The lights dimmed and the announcer came over the intercom. “And now we have our star attraction, Red Rose.” The audience clapped and the guys whistled. I sat back and waited for the show to begin.

Wearing a thin dress and heels, a blonde slithered to the stage then grabbed a pole. It was still dark so I couldn’t see her face. But I could see her legs and her breasts. She had the whole package. As she started to spin around, the lights came on.

  It was Laura.

“Fuck,” Cameron said. “That bitch is hot.”

“She’s good in bed too.” I winked at my two friends.

  “Dog,” Kirk said.

Laura continued her dance while men shoved money into her G-string. She had more money tucked in her underwear then most people made in a day of hard work. Her sculpted legs and arms got me excited. And she was a natural on the pole, like she’d been training her entire life.

She finally made her way to the audience and headed right toward me. “Hello, handsome.” Her hands moved up my chest. “You still want that lap dance?”

I tucked a few hundred dollar bills into her bra. “Yes, please.”

She straddled my hips then grinded me slowly, moving her pussy against my crouch. I kept my hands to myself while she worked her magic. My two friends kept howling while she got down and dirty on me. I noticed she was toner and harder than she used to be. Dancing on the pole probably strengthened her core. And her ass was off the hook.

She grabbed my tie and pulled me close to her. “You like that?”

“Yeah. It seems like you know what you’re doing.”

“I’ve learned a few things. Would you like to see them sometime?”

  “How about tonight?”

Her eyes flashed in surprise. “That sounds like fun.”

I pulled out a business card and shoved it in her bra. “When I fuck, I fuck hard. Just a heads up…”

“We’ll see about that.” She left my lap then moved through the crowd. The other guys paid for lap dances and the other girls came out, pleasing the men with their barely clothed bodies. I had too much to drink and I couldn’t even remember how many lap dances I got. I just remember having a hard-on the entire time.

When it got late, we finally called it a night.

“Dude, Mike’s back!” Cameron yelled on the sidewalk. He was slurring with drunkenness.

“Mike’s back!” Kirk jumped up and down. “Big Mike is here to stay.”

Cameron clapped his hands. “I’m so glad you forgot about—”

  “What’s-Her-Name,” I said.

He smiled. “Yes. That was her name.”

I hailed down a cab because I couldn’t drive. “See you later.”

“You fucking that stripper tonight?” Cameron asked.

I winked. “I’ll give you the details later.”

  Kirk howled. “Fucking dog.”

I got inside then leaned back and closed my eyes. My head still throbbed from the loud music. Laura danced in my mind, barely wearing anything to cover her pointy nipples.

When I finally got to my apartment, I waited for my fuck buddy to arrive. The knock on the door announced her presence. I opened it and stared her down.

“Miss me?” she asked. She stepped inside but I pushed her back.

“Let’s get something straight. I will never want something more from you. I will never treat you with respect. And I will never let you spend the night here. We fuck and you leave. When I said I was an asshole, I meant it. If you expect anything else, then get the hell out.”

She smirked. “Sounds good to me.”

“Then get your ass in here.” I yanked her inside then slammed the door.

“What did you do last night?” Sean asked.

“Just went out,” I said vaguely.

  “Where?”

“Are you a detective now?” I asked. “What did you do?”

“I stayed home and fucked my wife. I’m trying to knock her up.”

“Let me know if you need help.” I winked at him.

He gave me a dark stare. “If we weren’t related, I’d rip your head off.”

“Calm the hell down,” he said. “I’m not into married women. I like my women single and loose.”

  “Cassandra wasn’t loose.”

“I don’t know anyone by that name.” I didn’t think about her anymore. It was like she disappeared. I fucked Laura hard and good and didn’t feel guilty about it at all. I was back to normal. No pain.

  “Mike, what happened?”

“Don’t you have work to do?” I snapped. “I know I do.”

“Why won’t you tell me?” Sean said. “We’re both going through a hard time with the divorce. It’s okay to be upset.”

“Being married has made you incredibly soft. If I wanted to have girl talk, I’d get my nails done and spill my heart out to the nail lady. Now get the hell out of my office.”

Sean sighed in defeat. “I’m here for you if you need to talk.”

“Or I can just watch The View.”

“Stop being a jackass to me. I’m your damn brother.”

“By definition, I’m supposed to be a jackass to you. Now get out of my face.”

There was a knock on the door then Laura walked in, wearing a pencil skirt and a nice blouse. You would never suspect she was a stripper by a mere glance. And a damn good one too.

“I have the designs for you,” she said.

Sean eyed her then turned back to me. “Since when did Laura start working here?”

I kept Laura’s secret from everyone, including my brother and sister. “She needed a job so I gave her one.”

“But isn’t that…awkward?” He whispered so only I could here.

“I’m a mature adult and I can handle my personal life. Now go.”

Sean glared at me then walked out.

When the door shut, Laura approached my desk. She sauntered to me, swaying her hips. “There was something you didn’t mention last night.”

“What was that?” I leaned back in my chair and gave her an intense look.

“You didn’t say if you’d be interested in fooling around again.”

  “No, I didn’t.”

She sat at the edge of my desk and crossed her legs. “So, are you?”

I eyed her legs then returned her look. “I like fucking women who are good. And you’re pretty damn good.” She rode me last night, fucking me just the way I liked. I didn’t have to take control like I usually did.

She smirked. “You want to do it again?”

“How about tonight before I hit the sack?”

  “Sounds good.”

  “And remember what I said.”

“Don’t expect to spend the night,” she said quickly. “I get it, Mike. You and I are a lot alike.”

  “You’re okay with being used?”

  “Aren’t you?” she countered.

“I’ve been used my entire life,” I said bitterly. “No one has ever loved me and I know they never will.”

Her eyes softened. “You know that isn’t true.”

“Yes, it is,” I snapped. “And I’m fine with it. Why are you?”

She shrugged. “I guess I haven’t found someone who I didn’t want to be used by.”

“Man, we’re both fucked up in the head, aren’t we?”

“Probably.” She smiled then walked out. “See you tonight.”

I was determined to get my wife pregnant, and I knew the best way to do that was to have sex with her as much as possible. It was a win-win. If Scarlet thought I was being too obsessive, I could blame it on the baby.

When I got home, I was annoyed to find Janice there. I’d been thinking about what position to take my wife in for the entire ride home. I wanted to take her from behind, but I also wanted to have her in the shower….the possibilities were endless.

And to seem them drinking wine on the couch was frustrating.

I gave her a kiss then snatched the wine away. “You shouldn’t be drinking that.”

Scarlet looked like I slapped her. “Excuse me?”

“We’re trying to have a baby,” I snapped. “You could already be pregnant.”

“I didn’t get pregnant that quickly, but you’re right, I shouldn’t be drinking.” She eyed her glass then turned back to me. “Aren’t you going to say hello to our guest?”

“Hi, Janice,” I said quickly. “Baby, come upstairs with me really quick.”

Scarlet rolled her eyes. “We can have sex when Janice leaves.”

“Thanks for being discreet about it…” Janice downed half her glass.

“Or we could have sex now and after…” I suggested

Scarlet gave me a firm look. “Sean, no.”

Like a dog that’d been slapped on the nose, I backed off. “Fine.”

“He reminds me of Ryan sometimes,” Janice said.

I headed upstairs and changed into my workout clothes. I knew exactly how to get Scarlet hot and bothered. Every time I did it, she couldn’t resist me. I grabbed my iPod and earphones then walked back downstairs, heading to the back door. “I’m going for a run,” I announced.

“Have fun,” Scarlet said without looking at me.

I headed to the beach and ran hard. I stared at the sand down the coast as I propelled my body forward. The wind struck me in the face but I still sweated under the hot sun. After an hour of running and six miles covered, I headed back to the house, drenched in sweat.

I entered the house then pulled my shirt off, knowing my chest was covered in water droplets. Then I got on the floor, near Scarlet and Janice, and started doing push-ups.

“What the hell is he doing?” Janice asked.

I guess I made it a little obvious by doing it right next to them.

Scarlet eyed me then rolled her eyes. “Ignore him.”

Janice raised an eyebrow. “He does this often…?”

“He’s trying to seduce me.” Scarlet sipped her water. “Anyway, have you heard from Monnique?”

“Every time I talk to her, she’s busy. She’s either on her way to work or leaving, or even at work. Whenever we text each other, it takes three days to have a full conversation. And I haven’t seen her.”

“I haven’t seen her either,” Scarlet said. “And Cortland has been acting strange…”

“He’s friends with my fiancé. He’s always strange.”

I moved to my back and did sit-ups, breathing hard and counting. “1…2…3…4.” I breathed through the muscle cramps. “I feel the burn.”

Janice eyed me again. “Scarlet, he’s determined.”

  “Don’t encourage him.”

She put down her glass. “I should go anyway. Ryan will be home soon and we have another round of sexual politics to play.”

That made me nauseated. “You two have fun…”

“We will. Well, I will, at least. I always win.”

  “Okay…” Scarlet said.

Janice hugged her then left out the front door.

Now that I was alone with my wife, I moved to my stomach and did more push-ups. I knew she liked my arms.

She sauntered to me then stood by my head. “You’re ridiculous.”

I kept up my pace. “I’m just exercising.”

“You know exactly what you’re doing.”

I moved to my feet so she had a good look at my chest. Her eyes darted to the shiny sweat smeared across my skin, and her eyes darkened for a moment. I knew I had her attention. “You want to take a shower with me?”

  “I don’t know…”

“You don’t know?” I asked incredulously. “There’s a very strict way to make a baby. We need to abide by those rules.”

“I just don’t want to encourage this behavior.”

“I know you like it, so stop trying to hide it.” I smacked her ass. “Let’s go.”

  “So demanding.”

I headed to the stairs. “Come on. I need to get you pregnant.”

Andrew reached the end of the stairs and cringed. “Um…I’m going to head to the store.”

I didn’t even realize he was there. “Okay.”

  Scarlet’s face reddened in embarrassment.

My dad headed to the door. “I’ll be gone for half an hour…just to let you know.”

  “That’s plenty of time, Dad.”

Scarlet covered her face in humiliation.

“See ya.” My dad left the house.

“God, I could die right now,” she blurted.

“Let’s hurry up before he gets back.”

  “This is sooo awkward.”

“He knows we’re trying to get pregnant,” I said. “And he’s a big boy. He knows what making a baby entails.”

“We could still be aware of the fact he lives in the house with us and we shouldn’t just blurt whatever comes to mind.”

“Shut up and hurry. The sweat is starting to dry.”

Like a whore, she followed me up the stairs and into the shower. I stripped her clothes off then pulled her under the warm water. My mouth sealed over hers and I groped her body while I pressed her into the wall. My hands immediately went for her tits because I loved them so much. If anything could give me an instant boner, it was her rockin’ rack. She breathed heavily into my mouth while I touched her in the ways she loved. My hand explored the area between her legs, and I pushed her until she started to pant.

I hoisted her up by her thighs then inserted my throbbing cock inside her. Without using the wall, I bounced her up and down on my dick, feeling her wet pussy tighten around me. She was half my size and light, so it was easy to slide her up and down my shaft. And she felt so good.

Scarlet gripped my shoulders and used her arms to hoist herself. She moaned loudly, her sounds echoing in the small enclosure. I knew she was enjoying this as much as I was by the wonderful noises she was making. She was wetter than the shower we stood in.

She was the only woman I could have sex with over and over and never get sick of. Every time we were together, I felt my heart bleed out of love and devotion. She was my whole world, everything I ever needed in another person.

She dug her nails into my skin as she reached her moment. She tightened around me, squeezing my cock as the euphoria rocked through her body. “Sean…”

When she said my name, I felt myself crumble. I’ve wanted to have sex with my wife all day, so I was already at the brink. I was just waiting for her to enjoy her moment first. I came deep inside her, hoping I’d knock her up.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and rested on me. The shower still fell on us and I caught my breath. I liked holding her in my arms like this. She was so small and petite. It always made me feel like her rock, her foundation. I held her under the shower for a long time, hoping we just started a family.

  Cortland

Monnique and I didn’t speak for several days after the club incident. Judging by her silence, she was pissed at me. And obviously, I was livid with her. I felt like I was speaking to a different person. How did you argue with someone so illogical?

I wanted to turn to my family and ask for advice. But they all said I shouldn’t take her back to begin with. And I guess, deep down, I didn’t want to hear what they had to say about their relationship. Because I was thinking it too…

I finally caved and went to
her apartment late one evening. She probably wasn’t home because she was taking pictures dressed a whore, but I took a gamble anyway.

After she stared at me through the peephole, she finally opened the door. “Ready to apologize?”

That was not the best way to greet me. “Excuse me?”

“You embarrassed me then you ditched me.”

“I wouldn’t have ditched you if you weren’t being so…”

  “So what? What?” she snapped.

“If you weren’t being a bitch.” My words reverberated off the walls then the silence sunk in.

Her eyes widened. “Fuck you, Cortland. It was a work party and I had to be fun. I can’t just stand in the corner and disappear.”

“I thought you were modeling clothes, not acting like a model in Playboy.”

Her nostrils flared. “You’ll never understand fashion.”

“I understand my naked girlfriend being groped by another naked guy!”

“You told me you were supportive about this, and now you just change you mind? I can’t just walk away now.”

“I was supportive, but you’re changing too much. You’ve lost too much weight, too fast. You’re a different person. You aren’t sweet and caring anymore. You’re mean and catty. I don’t like that…”

  “It’s just business, Cortland.”

“Making a girl cry for being overweight is not business,” I snapped.

  “I was drunk, okay?”

“I drink all the time and I don’t go around and act like a jerk.”

She tried to slam the door but I stuck my foot in the way.

“Monnique, you’re changing because of this job, and not in a good way. I don’t like it.”

“So you want me to go back to being a boring nurse with no life?”

“What? You were never boring, Monnique. You were perfect.”

“Do you realize that I’m on the cover of a million magazines in the country? Do you get how big that is?”

“Yes,” I said firmly. “But I’m not surprised because you’re so gorgeous. But you need to separate work from your personal life. You’re mixing the two. Honestly, I don’t want model Monnique. She’s shallow and superficial.”

“I am not,” she said firmly. “I’m just adapting.”

“All you do is work all the time.”
