Fine as Frog Hair

“No. No, I just feel bad that I forgot. Damn. And you ... You look so good, Yankee.” His voice trailed off. “So good.”

Russ gave him a little twirl, cheeks going red. “It's a new shirt—I wanted to look good.”

“You look fine.” He backed Russ up a little, angling for a kiss.

“Fine as frog hair?” Russ asked, head tilted, mouth opening for him.

“Finer.” He groaned, took a long, hard kiss, tongue pressing in deep.

Russ’ hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer. Soft noises were fed into his mouth. Oh, shit. He framed Russ’ face with his hands, deepening the kiss, tasting and licking. One of Russ’ hands pushed into his jeans, the other just held on.

“Mmm ... Yankee...” He pressed Russ into the wall, hips rocking and pushing.

“Oh man, Trey...” One of Russ’ legs wrapped around his thigh.

“Mm-hmm. Good. Real good.” One hand moved down and cupped Russ’ ass, tugging them together.

“Gonna make me ruin my good jeans,” Russ told him, gasping and humping hard against him.’

“Open ‘em. Skin on skin, Russ.” His voice was low, rough, needy. Russ’ hands slid around his body and pushed between them. Soft whimpers and needy gasps sounded as Russ worked their pants open and down. “Russ ... Hot...” Trey pushed harder, groaning as their cocks met, so hot.

“Love you,” Russ whispered, hand wrapping their pricks together.

He whimpered, hips rocking. “Love ... oh, shit. Russ.”

“Kiss me,” Russ demanded, head tilting, mouth open and wanting, waiting.

“Yes.” He took that sweet mouth with a low groan, hips slamming them together. Russ cried out into his mouth, heat splashing between them. He arched, rubbing hard. balls tightening as he came.

Russ licked at his lips, making soft noises. “Oh man, you make me feel so good, Trey.”

“Good. Want to make you feel good. Want to make you fly.”

Russ nodded. “Yeah, same here. And you do. You make me feel so good.” Russ leaned up and kissed him. “That's why I wanted to do this.”

“It's wonderful. What's cooking and do I need to change into something less ... horsy?” Trey rubbed their noses together, grinning wide.

“Yankee Pot Roast, with mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and Yorkshire pudding. And you smell ... like home to me.”

“Yorkshire pudding? What's that?” He blushed, pleased as punch. Home. Cool.

“Air fluffy rolls. If I did ‘em right.” Russ frowned and sniffed. “And if I don't let ‘em burn!”

Russ ducked passed him and made a beeline for the oven, ass going up in the air as he bent to pull something out of the oven. Trey chuckled, following, hands cupping that tight pretty ass. Russ squeaked, jerking and then pushing back into his hands. “You're going to make me burn my buns.”

“Can't have that. Pull ‘em out, Yankee.” Russ chuckled and took the pan out of the oven. Looked like the muffin tins full of something that had risen up quite a bit. The roast came out next.

Russ turned and looped warm hands around his neck. “You ready to eat?”

“Mmm ... are you ready for me to eat?” He pulled Russ close, humming at the warmth, the comfort. Damn, he was lost.

Russ nuzzled their cheeks together. “I want you. But we should eat first. I want ... I've got something I want to say before you get me all het up and excited again.”

“Yeah? Everything okay?” He didn't get too het up, Russ was warm and relaxed in his arms. Happy. Smiling. Whatever the news was, it was okay.

Russ nodded and smiled. “Yeah. Yeah, everything's fine.” Russ grinned and chuckled. “Fine as frog's hair.”

He smiled, nodded. “Good deal. Come on, then. Let's eat and chat. I'm interested in what you have to say there, Yankee.”

He grabbed the roast and went to sit at the table, moving their chairs together. Russ brought over the potatoes, carrots and buns, and they dished up and started eating. Or at least he did, Russ was just kind of pushing his food around his plate.

“Yankee?” He reached over, nudged Russ with the toe of his boot. “You got something on your mind?”

Russ swallowed and nodded. “I do.” He got a small smile. “Nothing bad, I hope.”

“I hope not. Come on, ‘fess up.” He set one hand out, palm up on the table.

Russ’ hand slid into his. “I love you, Trey.”

“I love you.” Okay, now he was worried.

“You know how I'm traveling around the country—doing it slowly, staying and working at places, learning them. Like I'm doing here, right?”

“Yeah.” Oh. Oh, shit. Russ was fixing to go. Oh. Oh, ow.

“I told you how I envied you, remember? How I thought it was neat you knew where you were going, had your life all planned out.” Russ’ thumb was stroking over his hand.

“Yeah. Yeah, you said it wasn't boring.” He fought not to just hold on.

Russ nodded again, swallowed and laughed a little. “Man, I didn't think this was going to be hard and now I feel like a cheesy fool. Valentine's Day and all.”

“Are you fixin’ to leave, Russ?” He wasn't one to pussyfoot around, not about stuff like this.

Russ blinked at him. “What? Leave? No, I...” Russ’ face fell. “Do you want me to go?”

“God, no. I love you, Russ. Why would I want that?”

“Well ‘cause you brought it up and I thought.” Russ shook his head. “Never mind. I don't want to go. Just the opposite, really. I want ... well what I want is to stay. Here. Well not necessarily here, because you're eventually going to have your own place, but I don't want you to have your own place, I mean I want you to have it, but I want it to be ours and. Oh man, if you don't feel the same way I'll just go sleep with Chocolate...”

“Yes. Yes, please.” He was going to explode, just explode. “Stay. God, Russ. Please stay. Yes.”

Russ was grinning widely now. “Yeah? Really? I mean, for long-term, hitching my wagon to yours staying.”

“I can handle that. Long-term. Forever. Always and ever type staying.” Shit, yeah.

“Oh good.” Russ laughed and squeezed his hand. “Cool.”

“Yeah.” He grinned—like a huge, stupid, goofy-assed grin, too—holding on. “Yeah.”

“Man, you must think I'm a dork.” Russ didn't look like he was stressing it though, grinning hard and staring into his eyes.

“My dork.” He chuckled, knee nudging Russ'. “Mine.”

“Yeah, cowboy. Yours.” He nodded, damn near bouncing in his chair. His. Wow. Russ was still grinning. “Can we go get horizontal now?”

“Yes, please.” Trey nodded, knocking the chair over as he stood. “Yes.”

Russ pushed up out of his own chair and tackled him, their mouths crashing together in a kiss. Russ tasted good, hungry, wild and happy and wanting and ... Yeah, good. Russ kept pushing him, moving him backwards into the hall and down it, kissing him all the while, hands hard on his arms. They whispered needy little words to each other, moaning and needing and wanting as they stumbled. Finally they were in the bedroom, half naked and falling onto the bed. Russ’ fingers pulled at his shirt, leaving him buck naked in no time at all.

He rolled Russ on top of him, moving them together, his hands on Russ’ ass. “Love you, Yankee.”

“I love you, Cowboy.” Russ smiled down at him, body moving, bringing them together over and over.

“Good.” Trey cradled that sweet body between his legs, hips rocking up, his cock sliding along the soft-soft skin of Russ’ balls. Russ licked his lips and then his neck, breath hot and good against his skin. Whimpers and moans and breathless gasps filled the room. He nodded, held Russ close, shuddering as they got closer and closer to completion.

“Oh man. Forever,” murmured Russ, pushing harder against him, faster. “Gonna do this forever.”

“Oh. Oh, fuck. Yes. Forever. Russ. Russ, please.” He came with a soft moan, seed spraying between them.

  “T
rey!” Russ shouted his name, shuddering above him, more heat pushing between their bodies. He wrapped his arms around his lover, holding on until the aftershocks eased. Damn. Forever. Russ lay against him, heavy and solid and good. Real. His. Forever.

  It just might be enough.

  Chapter 12

Russ gave Chocolate one last pat and headed out. He stopped at the fence, looking out over the ranch. Man, it was a pretty night. Trey had told him the cold wouldn't last long and his cowboy had been right. Spring was absolutely stunning and the warm breeze felt good on his face. No wonder Trey wanted this. It was a good life. He grinned. Hell, he had a hunch pretty much any life would be a good one if it had Trey in it.

He hurried inside, letting the door slam behind him. “Hey, honey, I'm ho-o-ome!”

“Hey, Yankee. Fixing to hop in the shower. How're the critters?” Trey gave him a grin and a wiggle, naked ass disappearing down the hall.

He followed that ass as surely as day followed night. “Critters are fine. Can I fix to hop into the shower with you?”

“I reckon.” Trey wiggled again, broad shoulders tapering down into a tight, fine little butt.

He closed the bathroom door and leaned against it, whistling softly. “Fine as frog's hair, Cowboy.”

“Hmm?” Trey bent to turn the water on, thighs bunching and relaxing as Trey reached.

He moaned softly. “Oh man, Trey ... you look so good. *So* good.”

“You think?” Trey wiggled, tight little ass shaking. He starting pulling his clothes off, moaning as his hand slid over his prick. Trey stood up, standing under the water, sweet muscles going slick and wet. He wrapped his hand around his cock, eyes glued to Trey's body as he slowly started pumping himself. Trey started soaping up, bubbles pouring over that long body, getting caught in the dark hair that crowned Trey's cock.

Russ pulled harder on his prick, breath growing short. “Oh man ... Trey...”

“Yeah, Yankee?” Trey's hand started pulling on that hard, long cock.

“So sexy, Trey.” Man, he was close and Trey looked so good. Good enough to eat.

  “Yours. All yours.”

“Oh!” He came, body shivering as his pleasure shot out of him.

Trey moaned, eyes hot, spunk sliding over those dark fingers. “Sexy.”

He managed to stagger into the shower, right into Trey's arms. “Mmm.”

“Hey, Yankee.” Trey took his mouth, tongue sliding deep, tasting him. He moaned, rubbing against Trey as the hot water fell around them. “Still hungry?” Trey chuckled, hands sliding down his back, pulling him closer, squeezing his ass.

He gasped. “Oh man, with you? Always.”

Trey grinned. “Good. Want to keep you that way.”

“As long as you keep feeding me.” He laughed at himself, blushing a little.

The laughter that pushed into his mouth tasted sweet. “Always.”

That was more than good enough for him.

“Okay, I called Greg. He'll come pick up Chocolate tomorrow and take her for breaking.” He said it quick, not wanting to get any shit from Russ about the horse being sent off for a bit. The horse needed breaking. He didn't want to do it. Russ couldn't do it. So the horse was going. Whether Russ was happy about it or not.

“I wish it was called something else.” Russ was pouting. “You sure we can't do this here? How long is she going for? Breaking doesn't hurt her, does it?”

“She won't be happy, but no, it won't hurt her. She'll be gone until she's broke to the saddle and no, we can't do it here.” He patted Russ’ hand. “She'll make it through. They all do.”

“You sure she won't blame me? Hate me? I mean for sending her away, for doing this to her? I love her. I'd rather never ride her than to hurt her.” Russ’ hand turned over, grasping his.

“Russ. Yankee. She'll just be happy to be home. You don't think I'd send her to be tortured, do you? They don't like it, but it doesn't hurt.” He sighed, petting. Greenhorns. “Think of it as boarding school.”

Russ snorted. “Boarding school for horses. I'm acting like Chocolate's my kid, aren't I?” Russ blushed a little. “I just ... I can't help it.”

“You've had her for a while, y'all spend a lot of time together. It's understandable. Hell, you don't even have to be out there to load her up. But she's got to go.” He leaned over and gave Russ a kiss. “Buck up, cowboy.”

“Can I have another one of those?” Russ asked.

He grinned and nodded, making this one long and slow. Russ opened up to him, moaning sweetly. Well, maybe, if he was lucky, he could spend the whole time Chocolate was gone distracting Russ.

He needed to buy more lube.

  * * * *

Russ was doing dishes—washing up the measuring cups and spoons and bowls from making a breakfast pie. It was in the oven now, just starting to cook and fill the house with the good smell of bacon and eggs and pastry. He had the coffee brewing and the table set. A check out the window confirmed the sun was only just starting to think about rising. Shit, he was up early. He couldn't help it though—his baby was coming home today.

Man, he'd missed Chocolate. Not that Trey hadn't done an A1 job distracting him, but he'd still missed his horse. They'd had a chance to go and see her now and then, and he'd been the one to ride her most of the last week or so. Still, today she was coming back where she belonged and he was excited as all get out and it was time for Trey to be awake and be excited with him. Yep. That was his story and he was sticking to it.

He set the timer on the oven to forty-five minutes so it would turn off on its own and went to wake up his cowboy.

The bedroom was warm and smelled of Trey and him and sex and love. It was a good smell. He pulled off his shorts and his t-shirt and sat next to Trey, smiling down. A little tug on the sheet and that sweet body was revealed to him. Trey was in good shape—not working out uber-muscles, which frankly he found a little ick—but good, solid, hard-working muscles that you got from hauling bales and fixing fence and mucking out stalls and doing all the other stuff that needed doing around the ranch. He had that triangle body, wide shoulders that tapered into a little waist and trim hips. Russ was a little sad he couldn't see his favorite butt ever, but the view from this end was definitely well worth the price of admission. Trey's cock was hard, curled up over that fine belly and just not kissing Trey's navel. Well that was a shame—something ought to be kissing that navel and, in best cowboy fashion, he reckoned it ought to be him. Bending, he let the tip of Trey's prick graze his cheek as the tip of his tongue pushed into Trey's belly button.

Trey gave him a soft little purr, hand sliding into his hair, petting gently. He grinned, nuzzling into Trey's touch for a moment before licking around the edge of Trey's navel. Then, grinning wickedly, he pressed his lips against one sweet ab and blew a raspberry against Trey's skin. Trey snuffled and snorted, eyes popping open, swinging through the room until they landed on him. “Huh? Love? You okay?”

He laughed, all but cackled in fact, up at Trey. “Yeah, I'm good. In fact—I'm great!”

He laid another raspberry on his lover, this one over the smooth skin of one hip. The chuckle was soft, husky, Trey hiding his face in the pillows playfully, pulling away from his mouth. He laughed again and surged up, pushing the pillows away to kiss Trey. Oh man, he loved Trey. So much.

He pulled out of the kiss to say so, body rocking slowly against Trey's. “I love you.”

“Mmm ... Love you, Yankee.” Trey rubbed their noses together, moaning softly. So warm, so good against him—it felt so good between them. “You ready for your critter to come home?”

He nodded. “You bet. I can't wait to have her back—feed her and comb her and ride her!” He grinned. “Okay, so I'm more than ready.”

“You think?” Trey chuckled and settled them together, their cocks sliding together.

He moaned, eyes half closing. “Oh cowboy ... not even Chocolate coming home can compare to this.”

  “Yo
u sure? You're damned fond of that filly.” The kiss was gentle, teasing, sweet as hell.

“I'm sure.” He met Trey's eyes and brought their lips together, making the kiss deeper this time, hips starting to move, slow and good, sliding their pricks together. Trey melted underneath him, lips parting, tongue pressing against his before retreating and letting him in. He explored Trey's mouth for a long time, moving them together. It wasn't urgent yet, just hot and good and slowly growing into something that couldn't be, wouldn't be ignored. Trey's hands explored him, shoulder to hip, cupping his ass, pulling them together in a pace that built their passion, sure and steady. Perfect. His kisses grew deeper, hungrier. Trey tasted like morning and home and Trey and so good. So good.

Someone was making noises—little whimpers and gasps and moans and he knew it was him, it usually was, but it was just a part of their loving now, noises that meant love and sex as much as mouths on mouths and cocks on cocks and hands on skin did. Trey's fingers tightened, a soft little cry escaping their kiss, the full-body ripple happening that meant that Trey was close, wanting, fixing to come. He pushed a hand between them, dragging it across the tips of their pricks. It was all he needed, he shot hard, spunk splashing over Trey's belly. His lover followed right on behind with a needy little whimper, eyes rolling.

He settled against Trey as sweet aftershocks shook them both, licking at Trey's lips, enjoying the press of warm skin.

“Mmm...” Trey rolled them to their sides, wrapping around him, all warm and snuggly. “Got an hour before feeding.”

“Yep. And breakfast is cooking in the oven, coffee's on, table's set.” He colored a little, grinning wryly. “I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep.”

“Mmm ... what's for breakfast, ‘sides you?”

“Breakfast pie.” He rubbed their noses together. “With a side of you and me for dessert.”

“And appetizer, too.” Trey took a hard kiss. “Wanna shower with your old man? Get wet and slickery?”

“We already are slickery, aren't we?” he teased, rubbing their bellies together. “But yes, yes I do.”

“Mmm ... cool. I'm thinking we'll work our butts off today and take the girls out tomorrow to play, yeah? Take a picnic lunch?”
