The Oldens could reach an age of 2,000 years. The human body had more chances of being frail so that’s why the Oldens were helping the remaining humans so they could see their way of life on their planet. Thirty years to an Olden was like one year to a human. The Oldens decided to put the humans in frozen stasis to make the trip easier for them.After a few years of most of the people establishing a family or just raising their young they went and froze them until they reached Ocidol.Each human had seen the ship and stars on the way. The Oldens had decided that the humans had seen enough.Every cell was flooded with gas and the humans went into deep cryogenic freeze sleep.The Oldens weren’t sure if they were going to do this at first. They were going to wait after a few years and see how the humans would respond to the duration of the trip.Then they made their decision to freeze them. They were responding fine but the Oldens wanted to make sure they were comfortable and happy. To maintain this they decided to freeze them. The humans had no opinion on this.Catca and the rest of the Oldens checked on them periodically to make sure their life signs were stable during stasis. The humans wouldn’t feel a thing. The stasis would also add to their lifespans somewhat.The Oldens decided to wake them up just before they reached the planet Ocidol and landed. They wanted the humans to see their planet from space and their giant blue star Doga. Thirty years had passed and they were in their star system. The Oldens woke up the humans.They brought all the humans to their bridge on the ship. No human was aged in any way. The youngest human was four.All the people could do was stare into space. They were amazed at the star Doga and it’s beauty...
Chapter 11
The Planet Ocidol
The people couldn’t stop staring at Dogas beauty.It was jewel in the night. It’s blue color was breathtaking. Maybe the people were so use to a yellow colored star for so long. They really never got close to any other star. Only in super imposed photographs that Mike had seen anything so beautiful. He was an astronomy buff but he’d never seen anything this gorgeous. They just stared at the star. The Oldens navigated toward Ocidol. The approached it within five minutes of the star Doga. Now the people had something else to stare at. The planet Ocidol was coming up on their screen. They did just that they stared at the planet.It was blue and green similar to Earth but much brighter. It’s skies were clear with no clouds.It had some continental arrangement with it’s land masses. The land masses were all green with lakes and oceans riddling the surface. Most of the planet was land.It was another gem Mike thought. All the people could do was stare.They were ushered back to their cells for landing by the Oldens.The Oldens promised the humans that they would see the planet when they landed. The Oldens prepared for landing. It took them five minutes to land the mothership. It was a big ship with a big port to land in.
The ship finally landed. The people patiently waited in their cells. The Oldens came and escorted them to cells on the planet.As the people walked out to cells on the planet they had a chance to observe the beauty of the planet Ocidol. Their cells along with the rest of the Oldens civilization was subterranean. Everything was underground except the port for the Olden’s ships. Mike saw this and thought for sure the Oldens would explain this. The people got to their cells in an orderly fashion. The cells underground on the planet were much bigger with two stories. They were like glass houses than cells. This would also be explained later Mike again figured. All the people were at their designated houses now.Each house had electronic devices like computers to see any aspect of anything including spots or areas on the planet.These glass houses underground had all the comforts of peoples homes. They had kitchens with refrigerators,stoves,couches,beds,and many more conveniences.It looked like a giant glass dollhouse.The front was clean clear glass. This was their new home.The other people settled in. Mike was the only one that stood by the bottom of his glass house staring out into the underground depths. He saw Oldens factories in the distance along with the other glass houses. It was like an underground neighborhood he thought. Jennifer tried to drag him to the upstairs of their glass house. He didn’t go. Their were other aliens in the distance that he could see. These aliens must have done the same thing to their planet under the Oldens supervision. He figured out that’s why those aliens were there.He could see figures but no specifics. He could tell one group of aliens were blue skinned and smaller than humans.The other aliens he couldn’t see. He knew he had a ton of questions for Catca or any Olden that communicated with him. He still stood by the edge of the first story on the glass house and stared. He was stunned by this. The other people even Denny and Stephen were settling into their new home better than Mike was.Jennifer came and put her arm around Mike.”I’m a true explorer and adventurer and this is the ultimate adventure,”Mike uttered softly.”This is a chance of a lifetime.It’s other peoples nightmare and my dream!” Jennifer just looked at him and smiled.
There were Oldens working around the houses and passing by the people like they were working on the neighborhood. The whole set up was amazing to Mike and some of the other humans. Mike decided to ask any Oldens that passed by if he could see other parts of the planet or at least ask questions to one of the Oldens. Time passed slowly, at least it seemed that way to Mike.An Olden passed Mike’s house.He tried to get it’s attention but it just ignored him. They could read minds he thought. Maybe he wasn’t important now.That was what was going through his mind. He was right. The Oldens main concern was taking care of their planet and themselves at this point. Since the humans took care of themselves on the ship they were self-sustaining on the planet.Over time Mike got used to it and started enjoying his new home and adventure.He thought it would be a matter of time that the Oldens would check on him to see how he was doing along with the rest of the human captors. He could make out that some of the other people were having problems with each other and getting restless.They obviously were cooped up with each other too long. That’s what happened to married couples back on Earth and either spouse would go out of the house. That was not the case here.Mike wondered if they would ever be able to roam this planet.Jennifer entered the room where Mike was. “Are you feeling better?”She asked.”I will be fine,”Mike replied.”My curiosity needs to be quenched that’s all.”He noticed some of the other aliens becoming restless also. He noticed in the distance that some Oldens were escorting the other aliens away somewhere.These aliens had a neon pink color. “So there are two alien species along with us down here,”Mike exclaimed to Jennifer.He couldn’t stop wondering what was taking place. Part of him wanted to worry, the other half didn’t want to worry.The other half of his conscious told him to enjoy himself in this new endeavor.
A month had passed and Mike would periodically wonder towards the front of his cell. He would see if any Oldens would pass by and communicate with him.He stopped and looked around. For twenty minutes he just stared at the underground neighborhood repeatedly. Then an Olden came up to the house. He saw other Oldens go up to the other houses including the alien houses. “Mike and Jennifer how are you adapting to your new home?” it asked.”Catca?” Mike asked.”Yes,”the Olden replied. “We are fine,”Mike replied. “Can I ask you more questions about everything dealing with your planet?””Of course,”Catca answered.Mike decided to ask them all at once. “Why is everything underground?””Will we get to roam this planet and see everything up top?””What are the other aliens called and why do they get escorted out sometimes out of their houses?” Catca was ready to answer everything at once.”We are an underground species because our white tone is somewhat but not entirely sensitive to light.We can go out in light but for only certain amounts of time. We live underground and flourish because our planet is beautiful and we like to keep it that way. We don’t want to disturb it’s true beauty.We only go to the surface for tests and foraging for food.Most everything else we do underground. We only are 100 to 200 feet down under the surface. So we are not that far under the surface. We only need certain areas to flourish. We can give you ship tours when we think you are ready to absorb all the c
omponents of our planet. This will take at least six months before we can chance you to see the surface of our planet.You will never set a foot on our planet. You would disturb it too much. The ship tours from the air will be sufficient. You’ll be impressed enough to quench your curiosity. The blue skinned aliens are called Remils,the pink skinned aliens are called the Sikks.They are both species that are very aggressive and have to be sedated every so often. Once they are sedated they function quite well. That’s what you see when they are escorted out of their houses. If you need anything just ask in your mind and we will answer.””You ignored us for the first month,”Mike exclaimed.”Why is that?””Catca replied,”We were getting everything just perfect for your existence here. It is much work for us.Your species is very demanding as far as your conveniences you need and desire.We Oldens made sure you have everything to live out your lives here. We only responded to your calls in the last month only if there would have been some kind of emergency.If there is any other convenience you need just ask in your mind an it will be replicated for you. The replica will respond or work just as if it was real. Any fantasies past present or future, whether it’s real or not, can also be replicated within a reasonable time also.So you see Mike you have a great life and adventure ahead of you. You won’t be disappointed and you will enjoy yourself for the rest of your life.” “Can I visit and interact with Denny and Stephen?”Mike asked.”Yes you can,”Catca answered. “Do it the same way as your conveniences just ask and we will transport you from one house to another.”” If I need anything else I will ask,”Mike stated.”This is a dream come true.I will experience much in this new life.Thank you deeply Catca.”
Mike occasionally went over to Denny’s house and Stephen’s house. They visited many times in the next six months.Stephen and Mike still reflected on college days.Mike and Denny would reflect on family outings. It made their life ahead even more bearable to be able to enjoy it with people they knew. They all got to know each other better. Stephen had a spouse or mate whose name was Annie and they had a five year old named Mary.Denny continued to live alone.He never was a family man.He was too old even though his lifespan was added to by the Oldens. He would have fantasies of women over and they would go on adventures hiking together. He enjoyed his nephews company and that was it. He would enjoy himself by visiting with Mike and watching reruns on television. Mike and Jennifer enjoyed everything about this new life except for one thing. They wanted to see the planet. Every week or so they would ask to see the planet and they would be denied by the Oldens. The excuse was they weren’t ready for that yet according to the Oldens. Six more months passed and they still hadn’t seen the planet.When they visited with other people they would constantly bother the Oldens with that request. That’s what they told people when they visited. Denny told Mike to fantasize what the planet looked like and go there.Mike disagreed and wanted the real thing. Six more months passed and people were flourishing in their new lives.The Oldens were checking on the humans every month or so to see how they were.
Catca came up to Mike’s house.”It is time,”Catca demanded.”We have a special tour and treat for you.” Mike was ready and so was Jennifer. They both were really excited. Catca escorted them through a clear glass tube to the port area where they landed. They boarded a small craft and Catca took the front seat. Catca was the pilot and Mike and Jennifer were in the back. The craft was about the size of a car back on Earth. They lifted off. The craft went relatively fast but Catca slowed down. Mike knew they would probably slow down so they could see everything. They started to take everything in. The sky was purple and the blue star Doga was high in the sky. It was beautiful Mike thought. A purple sky and green plants on the surface.”This is just a general tour.””We can see specific things later depending on how you respond to this tour,”Catca explained. Mike and Jennifer could just nod because they were so amazed at what they were seeing. Any waterways were clear and all kinds of wildlife in it. There were creatures that looked like whale species,dolphins,and fish. The land species had all the characteristics of any animals on Earth. There were insects the size of tigers, horse species the size of dogs.The land was covered with all colors of species of trees and shrubs.Every color of the rainbow was represented. All of these species were different from anything on Earth they just looked like those plants and animals. They had to relate the species to something. None of the animals were attacking each other. They all looked like they were vegetarians.The Oldens supplied the plants with nourishment when they needed it along with the help of their star. Mike thought this was a true utopia. It all made sense to him now.He realized fully that this was his destiny living on this planet. He knew there wasn’t anyway humans could achieve this kind of paradise. Humans were too evil in their ways he thought. They never wanted the tour to end.”Since you two were the most curious about our planet you were the first to tour it,”Catca explained. “Others will tour it in time.We will decide when” Mike still couldn’t speak. He was still involved and impressed by the tour.Mike and Jennifer had no questions they just absorbed the beauty. The Oldens would supply any of the life with water if they needed it but they had plenty of water on the surface.
Other people would follow the Oldens to take the tour. Mike raved about it when he visited his friends and they just waited patiently until their time had come. When Denny and Stephen saw it they were shocked like Mike was. They truly accepted their destinies as well.Mike enjoyed his new family and his pet replicas.He went on excursions like he used to in his thirties.Denny enjoyed his reading and television along with hikes he took. Stephen enjoyed his family and his visits with Mike. They spent the rest of their lives on planet Ocidol in happiness and joy.This was not a dream.Many years passed and the people were doing well on planet Ocidol. The people eventually got older and created new members so there had to be more houses for them to flourish. Then Oldens accommodated them. Both the humans and the Oldens had a great symbiotic relationship. The Oldens took to these humans very well and depended on them for entertainment and study. Both species were prosperous and happy with each other and their lives.The other aliens turned out to be more of a challenge than the humans.The Oldens had picked the right humans for their adventure.The Oldens continued to monitor Earth and other alien planets. They continued to seed other planets like they had in the past.
Fifty years had passed and Mike was in a dream in his bed on the planet Ocidol He dreamt he was in a bright light and it was speaking to him. When he woke up he thought God was talking to him.It was a dream but it was so close to the reality and destiny he was experiencing now...

Epilogue
On the planet Ocidol Oldens and humans were living in peace. People lived there in harmony and peace.They could not corrupt or endanger any other living species again.The Oldens made sure of this in the most constructive way. The Oldens with their advanced intelligence kept monitoring Earth and other worlds to maintain self governing life bearing worlds. Mike Stephen, and Denny lived out their longer lives very happily on the planet Ocidol.
January 1,2100 Planet Earth Congo River region 10:00A.M.
There was a clan of gorillas in the forest that were flourishing along the banks of the river.They were foraging for anything they could find. The dominant male started to walk upright. He did it for about ten steps. He figured out that it would get him places faster.He kept doing it experimenting how long he could do it. The rest of the clan starting imitating him. In two years time they all started doing it on a regular basis.Other clans saw this and started doing the same thing...
