Accidentally brushing a bit of lace with a fingertip, I use every ounce of control I have to keep my roaming hands from sliding up underneath it.

  “Don’t stop there.”

The voice doesn’t belong to Cora. Whipping my head around, I take in Bryce. He’s standing a few feet from the bed and he’s looking hotter than ever. Tight black t-shirt showing off his arm muscles, messy hair falling into his eyes. And best of all, a visible bulge in his black jeans.

“Bryce.” Cora turns her head so she can see him. “Why don’t you come and give Dev a hand.”

“Sure.” Pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside, Bryce doesn’t stop there. He strips down to his underwear, so he matches Cora and I. He kneels down beside me, his hand going to Cora’s leg. But I’m the one he kisses, his tongue snaking into my willing mouth.

I grab hold of the back of his head, my other hand slipping into his briefs to curl around his cock. With our bodies pressing together, I feel rather than hear a deep growl rise from Bryce’s chest.

Struggling to breathe, my desire for both of them overwhelming, I raise myself up when Cora moves.

Turning onto her back, she pauses to watch us for a moment before she sits up. Grabbing hold of our cocks, she fondles Bryce and I through the straining cloth covering our hard lengths.

Bryce grips my shoulders for a moment before his hands run lower, tugging at the waistband of my briefs. I do the same thing to him.

In seconds we’re clothing-free. Cora goes straight for me, her lips crushing against mine. Bryce moves behind her, his hands circling around her breasts after he unclasps her bra and pushes it away.

Cora’s sleek, curvy body pressed between us is one of the best feelings I’ve ever had.

But it’s not nearly enough now. My throbbing cock pulls my thoughts back to what I really want to do. I slide her panties off. Lowering my hand down in between Cora’s legs, I feel her hot wetness.

When my roving fingers reach her clit, she shudders. Slowly I work one inside of her.

She ends our kiss, her breath coming in gasps. Bryce and I help her lie down on her back. I go right for her nipples, sucking them urgently. I can feel her heart racing as Bryce kisses his way down her stomach. I’m right there with her. Only Bryce looks calm and collected, his iron-hard cock the only thing showing his arousal as he works his way down her body.

Cora bucks as Bryce’s tongue strokes over her clit. Pulling her close to him, Bryce drives his tongue deep inside her swollen folds. She cries out when her orgasm hits her hard.

It’s an enormous effort to hold myself together. Cora looked so fucking amazing when she comes.

When Bryce pulls away from her, I can’t resist any longer. I have to suck his cock.

The size of it forces my jaw wide open. The moment my tongue touches his thick shaft, its familiar taste strikes a chord deep inside me. It hits me hard when I realize how much I’ve missed having sex with Bryce.

But it’s more than just that. I’ve really missed him too.

Trying to ignore the cascade of strange emotions coursing over me, I grasp the base of Bryce’s cock.

“Oh yeah, Dev, that’s it. Take his big cock. Nice and deep down your throat.”

Fuck. Cora’s words are turning me on even more. Judging from the way Bryce reacts, he’s into it too.

Licking all over, I start to suck strongly. Bryce thrusts into my mouth.

I about jump when my aching cock gets engulfed by a warm mouth. Cora. She’s shifted around so she can reach me.

My entire groin tingles sharply in response. I’m barely hanging on as it is and even though I can’t see her sexy lips wrapped around my throbbing shaft, it’s all I can feel.

Bryce is about to come and I’m right there with him. He erupts hard and fast, filling my mouth with shot after shot. He’s still coming when my cock pulses and I explode.

  Chapter 9

  Dev

  “When’s your flight, Dev?”

I still can’t believe our time together is almost over. I glance at the time. “I have to get going in a couple hours.”

The past few days flew by in a blur of hot sex and great music. The three of us spent every possible moment that we could in bed.

It wasn’t anywhere near to being enough.

Cora comes over to me, taking hold of my hand. “And then what?”

  “What do you mean?”

“When will we see you again?”

My chest tightens. That’s a question I don’t want to think about. “Dunno. You can come visit me in Chicago whenever you want.”

“You want a long-distance thing? Just sex every now and then?”

No. That’s not even close to what I want. “What else can we do?”

“I don’t want to be without you. What the three of us have going on, it’s about more than just sex. Don’t you think?”

“Sure.” All the feelings that have come up ever since our first night together are even stronger than any I’ve ever had before. For both her and Bryce. It’s not what I expected to happen. But it’s real.

Cora’s eyes glitter. “Then come to LA once the tour ends. We can live together, all three of us. Think of how great that will be. How much fun we’ll have.”

Living with Cora and Bryce. Moving to California. Changing every single thing about the life I’ve spent so much time building up.

“Cora. That sounds amazing. But I’m so close to getting ahead in my job. It’s what I’ve been working towards for so long. If I leave now, I’d have to start over. Prove myself to new people, work my way up from the bottom again in another hotel. It could take years before the opportunity I have now comes up again.”

She catches my eyes. “Is your job more important than us?”

She’s waiting for my answer when her phone shatters the silence with its piercing ring.

“Hang on, Dev, I have to take this.”

She heads into the bedroom. I’m zipping up my bag when someone knocks on the door. I open it up to Cora’s bassist.

“Hey, Bryce, are you–” Lucky stops when he sees it’s me.

“Oh. Hey, man. Is Bryce here?” He’s not hiding his surprise at finding me here.

“No. He’ll be back in a few minutes probably. You want to come in and wait?”

“Yeah, no. I’ll give him a call. See ya.”

I’m shrugging a shirt on when Cora comes back out, a serious look shadowing her face.

  “What’s up?”

“Bryce just found out that his next gig after our tour is a three-month run with Stringer.”

My heart sinks. “Huh. That sounds like fun.”

  “Come with us, Dev.”

I try to laugh. “Yeah. Right.”

“I’m serious. He’ll be working most days and evenings. You and I could hang out, explore every city we land in, and then the three of us could have a hell of a time at night when he’s free. Just like we’ve done the past few days.”

My heart speeds up at the thought. It’s really tempting.

But could it really work out? There’s no way I’d be able to keep my job. And then it wouldn’t be so easy to explain a big employment gap like that when I’d have to try and find work again.

“I don’t know, Cora. Leaving the industry for even that long could do some damage to my career. I can’t drop everything just like that.”

  “Really, Dev?”

I always believed that having a successful career was all that mattered to me. And it was, right up until now. Up until Cora and Bryce showed me what I’ve been missing. But how can I risk it all for something that might not work out in the end? Where would it leave me if Cora or Bryce got tired of being a threesome and wanted to settle down with just the two of them again?

I don’t want to face the answer to that question.

“How would that even work, Cora? Are you saying you want the three of us to be in a relationship?”

“Yes. And it can work however we want it to. We can make it
up as we go along. It’s not like there are any rules for something like this. We can make it work any way we like. For us.”

Her phone rings again. She kisses my cheek before she answers, turning away and leaving me with my churning thoughts.

  Chapter 10

  Bryce

“Bryce!” Lucky’s voice booms out across to the loading dock.

I’m almost finished my final check on the sound gear. Straightening up, I stifle a yawn as he comes over.

“I’ve got to talk to you.” He looks troubled. That’s unusual for him. Even Disarray’s massive success hasn’t changed Lucky from the laid-back guy he’s always been.

  “What’s up?”

“I went by your room to find you earlier on.”

  “And?”

“That guy Dev was there. He was half-undressed. I don’t know what he’s doing, I thought you’d want to know.”

Shit. How can I explain that? Cora introduced Dev to the band as her friend, without letting on there was anything else between all of us. That suited me just fine.

But I’ve never kept anything from Lucky. We’ve been friends for a long time. He one of the first people I met when I moved down to LA. Hell, it was Lucky who’d got me on one of Disarray’s early tours. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have met Cora.

But there’s no way I can tell him what’s been going on with Cora and Dev and I. I don’t even know what I’d say, beyond the fact that Cora and I are both sleeping with the same guy.

Yeah. No. I don’t need something like that getting around. Not that Lucky would tell anyone, but it’d be better all around if no-one knows what’s was going on between the three of us. Especially when I’m not sure myself what’s going to happen there.

“Yeah. There’s nothing wrong going on there. It’s all good.”

  “Is that right?”

Lucky’s skeptical. Of course he would be. But I can’t explain further. I don’t like keeping something like this from my closest friend, especially knowing Lucky has my back like this. Fuck. This threesome thing is already getting complicated.

Although it’s nothing compared to how messed up I am about it. Being with Dev had brought up some stuff that I didn’t even know I could feel.

The sex is mind-blowing, of course. I don’t want to admit that there might be more going on than just the physical. I’m starting to think I have feelings for Dev. Maybe I could be falling for him.

  Again.

And that thought is confusing as hell.

  Chapter 11

  Bryce

“What do you think would’ve happened between you and Dev if you hadn’t left Seattle?”

I squeeze my eyes shut tight. This isn’t a conversation I want to have.

Cora trails her fingers across my chest as she continues. “Was it just about sex? Or was there something more between you guys?”

“I don’t know if anything would’ve happened. We were best friends. We did everything together. The sex thing started out as just a way to get off.”

“And?” Cora presses into me. I tighten my arms around her, holding her so we’re touching as much as possible.

“I stopped making any real effort to pick up women. Knowing Dev would be there for me at the end of the night was all I needed. We never thought about the future. Not beyond graduating, and we didn’t even think much about that. It was all about having a great time in the moment.”

I nuzzle Cora’s neck. “We were practically kids then too, you know. I was only nineteen. First time away from home, in a new city, going to school for something I really wanted to do. Exploring everything I wanted to try out. It was all so much fun.”

“It’d be great if he’d come and stay with us. Don’t you think?”

“You mean for a visit.” I tilt Cora’s chin up. “Right?”

“No. For more than just a visit. Once the tour’s done, he could move to LA.”

I run my fingers through her hair. “What do you feel for Dev?”

“I love you, Bryce. And Dev’s been my best friend for a long time. Since we’ve all been sleeping together, now I have all kinds of other feelings for him. Being with him and you together is incredible. It’s like nothing I ever could have imagined before. And I don’t just mean the sex, even though that’s amazing.”

She cuddles up close against me. “I don’t think I can go back to being just friends with him. And I don’t want to. Now, you didn’t answer all of my questions, you know.”

“Okay, I guess if I hadn’t left town when I did, Dev and I would’ve kept on doing what we were doing. I would’ve wanted to.”

  “Just because of the sex?”

“I don’t know.” I clear my throat. “No. It was already getting into being about more than that by the time I left. At least for me. I have no idea what he thought about it. Like I said, we never talked about it. At all.”

Cora moves around, stretching her legs out. “Sounds like maybe both of us have some feelings for Dev.”

I tug at the edge of the cushion I’m sitting on. “I want to be with you, Cora. And him too. Not just for fucking around. Something more. But how’s it possible to feel like that about two people at the same time? It doesn’t make sense.”

“It makes sense to me. Why shouldn’t it be possible?”

I can’t actually think of why not. “I guess it could be.”

“You and I feel the same way. And I’m pretty sure Dev does too.”

“What makes you think that? It’s not like he’s here with us now.”

“His job’s a big deal for him. I can see why he wouldn’t want to leave it without thinking everything through first. That’s how he is. Besides. Wasn’t it Dev who started all of this by kissing you?”

I shift around. “Well, no. Not exactly. He made the first move. But I was the one who kissed him.”

Cora’s eyes widen. “It was you?”

  I nod. “Yeah.”

Her voice betrays her excitement. “I see the way he acts around you. Now I’m sure he feels like we do. About you and I. All of us should be together. Be a threesome. Not just for the sex. For a relationship. What do you think, Bryce? We could be like a couple, but with three of us instead of two. Great sex. Lots of fun. How amazing would that be?”

“What if Dev’s not into it? What if he only cares about the sex?”

“There’s only one way to find out for sure. We have a few days off between our next couple of shows. We could fly up and see him. Really find out what he wants. Because there’s no point in waiting around. If he’s into it, then we’re just wasting time by not moving anything forward.”

She makes a move like she’s about to jump up. I grab for her arm.

  “What are you doing?”

  “I’m going to call Dev.”

“Not so fast. There’ll be time for that later.”

Cora gives me a dazzling smile. “How great would it be, with all of us living together? You and I and Dev, spending every night in the same bed.”

I stop her with a kiss. Her excitement’s catching, but the whole idea’s making me uneasy.

I reach out for her thighs, my fingers playing across her skin. Cora leans in and our lips meet. I can’t think about anything else but her. Not right now.

  Chapter 12

  Cora

“Why don’t we try him at work? That’s probably where he’ll be. Dev’s getting to be a lot more Type A than he used to be about his job.” Bryce and I are climbing up the stairs to Dev’s apartment. I really need to hit the gym more often. “I texted him before the plane took off. He said he had about an hour left in his shift.”

“Did you tell him we’re coming?”

“No. I want to surprise him.”

“Yeah, okay. Guys love that, Cora. Maybe you should at least text him now.”

  “No way. We’re already here.”

We finally get up to the right floor. I can’t wait to see him.

Bryce taps at the battered wooden door. Ther
e’s not a sound coming from inside the place. “You sure Dev said he’d be off work by now? What if he went out instead of coming straight home?”

“I asked what he was doing tonight. He said he didn’t have anything going on.” I knock at the door myself. The stairs creek and groan behind me with someone else coming up. Automatically I take a step behind Bryce so I won’t be seen.

  “What the hell?”

It’s Dev. Just getting home now. I burst out from behind Bryce and jump at him. He catches me up in his arms. I kiss him until he sets me down.

“What are you guys doing here?” Dev unlocks the door to his place and we all file inside.

“We have a couple days off. And we wanted to see you.”

Bryce’s jaw clenches. “You don’t mind, do you man?”

I don’t know why he’s acting so uncomfortable.

“Of course not. It’s really good to see you.” Dev hugs me again. “I’m happy you made the trip.”

“No big deal. Not when we could get to see you.” I look out the window, but all I can see is another building.

“Make yourself at home.” He gestures at the overstuffed sofa, and I go for it. Reluctantly Bryce comes over too. “You want anything to eat? Drink?”

“Beer, if you have it.” Bryce sits down awkwardly beside me.

“Me too. I’ll help you.” I jump up and go with Dev into his kitchen.

“I don’t really need any help with a couple of beers.” He gives me a grin. “What’s up?”

“I wanted to tell you how much I miss you.”

He grabs the beer from his fridge. “I missed you too. Anything else?”

“Yes. But I want all of us to talk together.”

  Dev’s eyebrow lifts. “Sounds serious.”

“It’s not. Well, it is. But it’s nothing bad.”

We go back out into the living room. Bryce is pacing around, as if he’s even more tense now than before.

“So what’s going on?” Dev glances between Bryce and I.

“We’ve been talking, Dev. It feels so right when the three of us are together. Bryce and I want to be with you. In a threesome. I’ve said that before, and I meant it. I want something permanent. And so I need to know if you’re on the same page as we are. If we all want the same thing, we can make it work. If not, well. There’s no point wasting time.”
