Baby Wanted: A Virgin and Billionaire Romance Page 3

by Eva Luxe

This will work, I said to myself, holding up the pencil skirt, matching suit jacket and frilly, pastel pink Victorian blouse. I added the finishing touches of a neatly wrapped bun, subtly sexy stockings, and black pointed heels.

  Damn, I looked good.

I’d almost think I looked too good, for a girl who hoped to leave the stripping world behind her and head to the professional world, but Willow had told me it would help if I looked sexy. Therefore, her wish was my command.

I had to remind myself to breathe. This was a major step in the right direction. No more exotic dancing for me, and luckily I had a good friend to make sure I didn’t have to try to dip back into that life. It may have taken fate to get me to this point, but at least I was on my way, and nothing could stop me now.

  Phone, check.

  I.D, check.

I had everything in my small black purse, ready to go.

My phone rang, blasting the White Stripes’ song “We’re Going to Be Friends,” which I had programmed as Willow’s ring tune.

  “Hey Willow, ‘Morning! How’s Ella?”

Willow and Darien even had a newborn baby together; she was very lucky in the love department. Very lucky. Stories like her were rare, and I was happy for them. If not a tad bit jealous, sometimes, but I guessed that was only natural.

“Good, except for the fact that she’s a big bundle of spit up most of the time and she manages to get a bunch of it on me as well!”

We both laughed and then she continued.

“I’m gonna text you the address; Grant’s expecting you.” Willow yawned; she must’ve been up all night tending to Ella. The long nights— and the spit up— were things I wasn’t jealous of.

I still remembered her last day at the club we used to work at, when she was whisked off by Darien like he was her knight in shining armor. Just when she had thought things weren’t going to work out between them, he had moved heaven and earth to be with her. And that’s how things really should be between a couple who is now spending the rest of their lives together. A happy ending to their storybook romance.

I used to joke with her that she needed to “gag me with a spoon,” with my perfect 80’s Valley Girl accent— we liked to watch old reruns of California Dreams together, which, sadly, aired way before our time— but in all seriousness, it was great how everything had turned out for her and Darien.

“Okay, I’m about to leave now,” I told her. “Thanks again, Willow.”

“Not a problem. I owe you after you showed me the ropes at the club years ago. Without your help, I wouldn’t have met—”

“No, crashed onto,” I corrected, tapping my heel on the floor with a huge grin splashed across my face. That moment was another one that was impossible to forget about.

“Right, crashed into my husband. Relax. You’ll do fine.” In the background I heard the faint cries of a baby, which quickly rose into a crescendo of a loud wail. “Oops, gotta go. The little one is calling for me. Good luck, Stacy.”

“Right back at you. Sounds like you’ll need it more than I do, with those powerful lungs.”

We both laughed and after I hung up I saw the text that Willow had sent me while we were on the phone. I checked my Uber app but it would cost twenty bucks to take an Uber there, and I needed all the cash I had. So instead of the uber, I decided to take the bus.

With one last glance at the mirror, I readjust my glasses (which are fake, but I want to look the part of an eager and studious young professional) and tuck in a strand of hair. I was ready to go. Or as ready as I’d ever be, at least.

The sun shone brilliantly down, this time without its bludgeoning heat. Today felt new, fresh— straight out of the shower fresh.

I made my way over to the bus stop that was two blocks up from my apartment building and sat down.

A lone guy straggled over and leaned on the side of the bus shelter.

At first I didn’t pay him any attention, but he waved and gave me a crooked smile. God, did this guy even know what toothpaste was?

“May I help you?” I asked.

“Yeah, babe. I got some money that’s begging to be spent.” He leaned in and I stood up. What the hell was this freak talking about?

  “Excuse me?”

“No need to be shy baby. I know how well you can dance. Been a fan of yours for a while now.” He inched over towards me. Wait, he said he was a fan? He knew me from the bar. But how?

“How did you find me?” I asked, folding my arms. I glanced past him, praying to the universe the bus would magically arrive from around the corner.

“Baby, I had to follow you home,” he got closer and I moved to the side. “To make sure you were okay from all the others that followed you too.”

Oh shit, looks like rent was going to be the least of my concern. I’d have to shell out moving costs now. If he followed me, then there was no promise that others didn’t either.

“Look, I’m not a dancer anymore. So get lost.”

He sneered and grabbed my hand. I jerked away, but he pulled me into him. The gross odor of alcohol fumed off of him. Time to get serious.

  “You don’t mean that, baby.”

I stabbed my heel straight through his sneaker.

“Ahh! Fuck!” he shouted, doubling over and releasing me out of his grip.

“Yes I do,” I said, bending down.

The bus came roaring around the corner and I waved it down. When the bus stopped, the driver looked over my shoulder at the guy cradled on the ground holding his foot.

“You nasty bitch,” he cried while I boarded the bus.

“That’s right, I’m really nasty. Think about that next time.”

The bus doors closed and I paid my fare.

Lindsey was right, martial arts was a mandatory skill for us dancers, especially with perverts like that around.

After a thirty minute bus ride, I was standing face to face with the Carter building where all the magic happened. This company provided funding to startups and was behind the genius minds at Flossline Tech.

“Wow, my colleagues are gonna get so jealous.”

I walked towards the entrance, skipping up the stairs when something caught the tip of my heel and tripped me up. So much for trying to look cute.

When I turned around to sit on my ass and take in what just happened, a hand was shoved in my face. I looked up and lo and behold, it was him.

  The Grant Carter…

“Go ahead, take my hand. I don’t bite,” he said with a confident smile.

  I sure wished he would.

  Chapter 6

  Grant

Willow should’ve never sent me her picture.

It lingered in my head, burned into my mind, making my cock act up.

It had been a while since I’d seen a woman that made me act this way.

“Um, nice to meet you… I’m—”

“Stacy Endow, yes, nice to meet you.” I reached out to shake her hand. Her soft skin graced mine. A sweet floral smell wafted off of her. It was a nice change from all the obtrusive smells of older women and their hard perfumes.

  “You already know?! How?”

“Willow sent me a picture. I never like being unprepared.”

“Oh, um. I guess the interview’s gonna be out here instead, huh?” She scratched the back of her head and smiled. Her hips were amazing, and her bust; it was the perfect size.

“Interview? We don’t need that. You’re already hired,” I said, scanning back over her body.

  “What?”

“Come, follow me. We need to get upstairs and get you situated.” I looked behind me and Stacy was still stuck in her heels. “Ms. Endow?”

“I’m sorry, I’ll be right up. The twentieth floor, right?”

  “Yes—”

“I’ll be up soon. I need to go get something to drink.”

She began to run off in a different direction. I frowned, keeping up right on her heels. I knew what she was doing. Women her age, at such a tender age,
were shy and shaky like a leaf.

But I wasn’t fooled. She had an edge to her. An edge I wanted to rub myself against.

I reached out and caught her by the shoulder with a firm grasp.

“Ms. Endow. We need to get started. No need to run off and be shy,” I said, the words dripping off my tongue like a hungry shark.

She looked up at me, those big doll eyes begging to be punished. Behind that feminine glow was a darkness that reached into me.

“As your boss, I demand that you come.”

  Double entendre.

A wild blush skipped across her cheeks, did she get it too?

“Boss…” she whispered, unsure on how to address me. I could only imagine how that voice would sound screaming my name. Ever since Willow showed me her picture, I kept thinking about how she’d sound.

It was a blend of innocence and seduction wrapped up in one. A dangerous combination rarely found.

“You’re making me late,” I said, lowering my eyes.

Stacy straightened up and cleared her throat. “Yes, Mr. Carter. Sorry.”

She followed me into the building. I caught her glancing around the artistic glass and gold structures.

Some of the men in the lobby caught wind of her presence and stared her down. It wasn’t until I gave them the death stare did they look away. She was mine, and Stacy was going to learn that very soon.

I press the up button on my personal elevator. Stacy stood behind me, her heels lightly clacking on the marble floors.

  “Nervous?” I asked.

“Just a little. Business is my major. But this is such a large important company. There’s no room for rookies and mistakes.”

Fuck, she wasn’t just all looks either. I fought the burning urge to rip off that frilly victorianesque shirt she was wearing and turned my attention to the clock on the wall. I had a meeting in thirty minutes.

Thirty minutes was all I needed to make her mine.

I got everything I wanted. Women hardly turned me down. They all had their legs open for the newest biggest dick. Loyalty didn’t exist with women that had working pussies.

The high, the climax, the orgasm that would steal every little piece of energy and dignity was what they were looking for.

And my cock was ready to do just that.

The elevator bell rung and the golden doors opened to reveal my top high end elevator, equipped with seats, wine, and a TV. Sometimes if I needed to think, I’d come here and let the elevator take me up and down while I sipped champagne or fucked some random women with wet panties.

Me and Stacy stepped inside the elevator, and the elevator doors slid closed behind us. I caught the glimpses of upset women who knew what Stacy was going to be subjected to.

I pushed the button to my main office, and made sure the speed was on slow. My cock fought against the seams of my fly as I began to inch towards her. I reached out to cup her chin.

She flickered her thick eyelashes up at me and sneered, slapping my hand to the side.

“Excuse me?” she hissed. “Do you think I came here to be your whore?”

She stepped back, clutching onto her purse.

“What?” I was puzzled. That flash in her eyes from earlier. When I told her I didn’t bite…

  She wanted me to.

I knew that look. But now she’s rejecting me?

“You heard me! I came for a personal assistant job, not personal sex toy one. Either you hire me to do honest work or I’m leaving!” she thundered.

Fuck, I allowed my cock to do all the thinking at the wrong time.

The elevator felt small, despite the spaciousness. This was akin to being trapped in a small space with a wild cat with claws.

Damn it. This one intrigued me.

“I apologize, Ms. Endow.” Time to get out of this one. “You passed the test.” I straightened my tie, willing my hardening cock to calm down. I wore the best boxers so nothing peaked up into a mountain too easy.

  “Test?” She cocked an eyebrow.

“Yes, I have way too many women who want to seduce me than rather work for me. You’ve proven yourself.”

The bell rung and opened up to my main floor. Spacious, hardly any walls, and if there were any, they were artistically placed black glass walls.

“Wow, I see. You are a handsome man,” she said. There was a slight purr to her voice. I’d have to work to get her.

But she was the same too. Even if she was feisty. I never failed to get what intrigued me.

Stacy followed me to my office, some of the women gave her the side eye.

By the table of my main secretary stood a woman. She looked familiar. She turned around to face me with a sly smirk on her face.

Huh, that face. Yes, I screwed that one before. She glared at Stacy behind me, and my gut growled. I didn’t like that look she was shooting us.

“May I help you?” I asked.

My secretary jumped up. “I’m sorry Mr. Grant, I tried to tell her to leave.”

I raised my hand. “Don’t worry about it. Is there a problem?”

The woman folded her arms. I didn’t remember her name, but I faintly remembered her body. Average, not impressive like Stacy’s.

“It depends on you, Mr. Carter.” She shifted her eyes down to Stacy again and I inched in front of her. “May we speak in private?”

Women, they thought they were in for the long haul, if they weren’t given a chance to destroy you with their fake sense of romance, they’d come do it later with a vengeance.

“Stacy, just a minute. This won’t take long.” I motioned to my secretary to take Stacy to our waiting room so she wasn’t left standing around.

Opening my door, I allowed the woman in first. She stridded inside with a bobble of the head and a smart ass smirk. What the hell was she up to.

“I’m sorry, I forgot your name.” That came out as both an honest statement and one with a poisonous bite. She wasn’t here on any good news.

“Carmen,” she said, leaving off her first name.

“Carmen who?” I wasn’t going to be on friendly terms. The tension between us was as thick as fog.

“Carlissa. You don’t remember me, Grant?”

“No, faintly.” I took a seat behind my black lacquer wooden table. It cost me a handsome sum of two hundred grand. When I sat behind it, I was king—no—a God. A god all the women wanted a peace of but could never keep.

“What is your business here Ms. Carlissa?” I asked, turning on my computer to see what I needed to do today. My ten thirty meeting was on my heels.

Ms. Carlissa handed me some papers. There was a red square around the most important part.

What it read was insanely impossible.

I cocked an eyebrow and laughed. “Do you really expect me to believe that any of this is real?” I leaned back in my chair. What the hell was this bitch up to?

“It is. You have one month to have an heir, or else everything.” Ms. Carlissa leaned over onto my table, putting her dirty hands all over my table. “And I mean everything, will be taken from you. Every cent, every piece of business and land, and even the clothes on your back will be taken.”

The venom behind her words circled over my head. It didn’t bother me, but there was truth to what she was saying. Exactly how much truth, I’d have to check and see.

“I will have my lawyer look at this. You better hope this is the truth…”

“Or what? You’ll make me disappear?” she asked, smiling.

“No, but I can make sure your career is over. I’m Grant Carter, not some man that can be fucked over.”

She folded her arms and laughed again with a haughtiness so thick it was disgusting. Ms. Carlissa turned and headed to the door, her walk was heavy with a switch. “Remember Carter, no one is untouchable. You’re no god. You’re only human.”

She left my office and closed the door behind her. An awkward silence followed behind. I snatched up the phone and had my lawyer on the other end in seconds.

“I knew you’d be calling here soon,” Mr. Greene, my lawyer, grunted into the phone.

“What do you mean? Did a Ms. Carlissa visit you?” I eyed the door, Stacy was waiting for me. It irritated me to have something so… interesting waiting for me…

“No, but another lawyer did. It was Redmon, your grandfather’s lawyer. Seems like you need an heir in order to keep what you got.”

I slammed my fist on the desk. Vulnerability wasn’t even in my vocabulary.

“Fuck that! How the hell was I not informed about this years ago?” I thundered into the phone. Mr. Greene knew this inferno of mine wasn’t aimed at him. But fuck, how did this slip through the cracks?

Something of this caliber should’ve been mentioned when I first received my inheritance. Now twenty years later it decided to rear its head and slap me in the face? Hell no.

“I’m sorry. But I was able to read the hidden part of the inheritance. It was written to be this way. It says that if you didn’t conceive an heir by the age of forty one, then you’d forfeit all your possessions,” Ms. Greene explained. In the background ice clinked around. I heard him swallow down something to drink, and knowing him, he was drinking whiskey.

Clearing his throat, he sighed on the phone. “We can’t fight this in court. Judge won’t even hear it. Might even piss him off if we tried.”

My grip solidified around the phone, threatening to break it.

“Fine. I’ll handle this. Thank you for clarifying and confirming this, Mr. Greene. Reliable as always. Enjoy your day.”

Before he could return the same verbal gratitude, I slapped down the phone and sighed. Lacing my fingers together, I picked up the phone again and told my secretary to send in Stacy.

The door soon cracked open and she peeked inside.

“Come inside, Ms. Endow.” I had to remind myself to address her by her last name, so not to scare her off so quickly.

Hard to crack didn’t mean uncrackable. It meant that once I did, the rewards were going to be fruitful; the best pussy ever.
