  We look around and then Diane shouts. "Put it on cable TV you idiot."

  I had forgotten about that?

  I leave them to it to them and go to the bedroom when I hear shouting; Diane is on the phone to Henry, she is saying that she will stay the night with us and will see him in the morning. Great, that's all I need.

  I wake to banging? its 4.30am and go downstairs, Lisa and Diane are asleep on the settee

  and have not woken. The door bangs again and I hear Henry shouting. I open the door and he stumbles in slurring his words but one of them is Diane.

  "She is asleep." I replied.

  Henry carries on talking gibberish until he notices Diane asleep then he calms down.

  "I thought she was with someone." Henry says.

  "Yes she is, she is with us, she came back for a drink with Lisa." I told him.

  Henry falls asleep also after around half an hour; though it felt longer and I return to bed.

  I the morning they have left and Lisa is still asleep, I leave her alone and head into town for a walk around.

  That evening Lisa and I go out to a local Irish pub the head of in any direction we fancy to see where we end up and do at Drake's Bar on Brickell Avenue, its a bit far away but I am finding it hard to find something that is not a lounge.

  They say its a typical British Bar but it did not look like it to me?

  Whilst there Lisa receives a call from Diane asking what we are up to, Lisa says Drake's and she said it was shit and we should join her at E11EVEN MIAMI at 29 NE 11th Street.

  We are quite relieved as Drake's is a bit slow and jump in to a cab.

  On arrival I am a bit gob smacked, this place is described as.

  As you can imagine it is quite impressive and we spend the next night there also.

  On both occasions Henry and Diane drink too much and argue but after the first bust-up I have got to the point where its a normal occurrence except on the second night it was worse.

  Diane had been drinking and dancing as usual but a bit too close to a stranger which Henry took an exception to, as you can imagine.

  When Diane returned to the table Henry went mad at her and she threw her drink at him.

  I could see that Henry was infuriated and again went quiet.

  Diane went to the loo after a while and Henry followed. I could see that Lisa wanted to also go at this point but I told her not to get involved; we were leaving to go somewhere else and it was pointless.

  Henry came back and was remarkably relaxed and chatty?

  He explained that Diane had decided to leave a she was sick in the toilet so he got her a taxi home. Henry said Diane said she was sorry.

  This did not seem right and left me thinking all night what had happened, Lisa also went to the loo to phone Diane but her phone was off?

  The Taxi is due anytime now and Lisa has said we should finish up; Henry is still with that woman and we decide to leave without saying goodbye.

  I have awoken and can see the clock next to the bed in the darkness, its 4.13am. I turn and can see Lisa asleep with her back to me and cuddle up closer to give her a cuddle.

  I stay in for the day watching TV and phoning the clinic back home to make sure all is running smoothly.

  Diane said she doesn't believe him though she say's he has never cheated as far as she is aware.

  I do not feel like going out tonight so we order a takeaw
ay and stay in for a rest. The TV in America is pretty much the same as the UK on cable or Sky so we have a nice night.

  Lisa was talking incessantly about Diane so I concentrated on this to see if I could jump

  tonight whilst asleep.

  Before going to sleep I picture his face and eventually nod off.

  We now head off for some sunshine on the famous Miami beach. I have seen this beach in many TV programs and am looking forward to it.

  We arrive and park the car and start walking towards the beach in anticipation.

  I tell Lisa that I am feeling like a little kid and she slaps my arm.

  "Not just that, its iconic." I reply.

  What a let down. I think something must of happened on the planet and all the occupants are either dead or at home scared.

  There is a nice restaurant we just passed so we go their instead. We order some tea and a sandwiches then Lisa's phone rings, its Diane and she wants to know if we are out tonight; she has made up with Henry.

  Lisa asks me and I say yes, I want him to do something to see if I jump and its no surprise he wants to go to the E11EVEN nightclub again; probably wants to see if that blonde girl is in there?

  We head of home to get ready.

  On arrival at the club we go to the bar to get drinks and Diane and Henry greet us after a minute; they have a table and seen us come in.

  We take our drinks and sit down; Lisa and Diane are talking into each others ears again at close range so we cannot hear them and nodding a lot.

  "You been OK Henry." I ask.

  "Yes thanks, had a weird night though last time I seen you. You know that woman I was speaking to." Henry said.

  "Yes the blonde one, how did you get on." I replied.

  "I woke up around her house in the morning and think I went with her, but I can't remember that, I fell asleep when she was in the bathroom, she said I was naughty waking her up for sex during the night." Henry said.

  Henry also explained that he told Diane he stayed at a blokes house and that she believed him. I asked if he was going to see her again and he pointed and said "There she is down there."

  I asked if that was the reason he came back to this place, he said if he had gone with her he missed it and that he would at least like to remember it as she is hot.

  During the evening the usual happened, Lisa and Diane dancing and giggling and Henry sneaking off to chat with the blonde whenever he had the chance.

  I asked him on his return this time what her name was and he said it was Honey?

  "What does she do for a living," I ask.

  "Travel Agent." Henry replied.

  We talked about Honey for a while and I did ask if he thought that was her real name? Henry said there was a lot of funny names going around these days and it was not unusual.

  Honey did have a long term boyfriend; they met at school when they were fifteen. That surprised me a bit as she looks like she could get anyone she wants. Henry said that her ex wanted to live a bit and she agreed.

  Henry wants another drink and this time I go with him; asking if he would introduce me. We get to the bar and Honey is not far away talking to another woman.

  Henry beckons Honey over and he introduces me; she loves the English accent and wants to go to the UK; the usual shit.

  Henry asks if he can be excused to go to the loo; gives me a chance to delve.

  Honey says she works at the Travel Agents and she met Henry the other night. I ask if she likes him and she said yes but he has a wife.

  I ask how she feels about that and she said its fine as she was not looking for anything long term. I pointed in Diane's direction to show Honey that she was here and she said she knew. I asked her if she was local and she said she lived two minutes away on Silver St. No 19068.

  Henry comes back and I go back to my seat.

  I am looking over the balcony and can see them talking and find myself feeling quite resentful of Henry.

  Diane has arrived and looks as if nothing has happened? She later says that its a blessing as Henry has not touched her in over six months and just gets drunk and hits her. She also explained that they have a prenuptial agreement and that she will get half; he is worth over $4m and Diane is thrilled.

  Later we go to E11EVEN again, Diane wants to see if they are their; Henry and Honey are at the bar drinking.

  Henry keeps looking over and eventually talks to Diane as she heads to the toilet.

  When Diane comes back to our table she said that he was not to come home and to expect legal action for a divorce; Henry went back to Honey though he's not looking too happy tonight.

  Its time to move on tomorrow from Miami and we decide to head north to Orlando. Lisa asks Diane if she would like to keep in touch and maybe come over to England to visit and Diane is certainly looking forward to it.

  On leaving we stop off at South Beach on Ocean Drive and 1st Street as we did not have much time bathing.
