Belong Page 12

by Radha Agrawal

To Lisa Hollander, Janet Vicario, James Williamson, Terri Ruffino, Jessica Rozler, Jaclyn Atkinson, and Barbara Peragine at Workman for turning my text and art into a beautifully designed and illustrated book. Thank you.

And finally, a special thank-you to my dear editor, Mary Ellen O’Neill at Workman—for being so patient and kind with me. Writing a book is such a tender experience and your keen sensibilities and edits strengthened the pages in immeasurable ways. Thank you for making this experience so wonderful and fun, and for becoming a friend in the process.

  About the Author

Radha Agrawal loves people. She is the Co-founder, CEO, and Chief Community Architect of Daybreaker, the early morning dance and wellness move-ment that currently holds events in twenty-five cities and on a dozen college campuses around the world and has an active community of almost half a million people. A highly recognized entrepreneur (Co-founder of THINX and LiveItUp), speaker, inventor, and investor, Radha most recently launched The Belong Center, a comprehensive Community Architecture and Experience Design Lab for individuals, progressive organizations, universities, and brands interested in creating meaningful communities. She was named by MTV as “one of 8 women who will change the world.” Radha lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her love, Eli, and her twin sister, Miki—and lots of family and friends within a few blocks. You can most often find her tinkering with community and experience design projects or on the dance floor at Daybreaker in New York City (if she’s not dancing at sunrise in another part of the world).
