  "I can cheer too," Dad said, leaning over and kissing Mom's cheek.

  He smiled, Mom was helpless if he and Dad worked together. She would let him play. It was good to have parents that didn't die this time. It was getting harder to remember last time as he called it.

  "I suppose we can sign up, and do some shopping for equipment after school today," she said, patting his back.

  "Yay! Thank You!" he said, squeezing her tighter around the waist.

  She smiled and patted his head, "Well, you're a little clone of your father, why wouldn't you play football?"

  "Come on, let's go down, eat, and get you to school," Dad said, picking him up and carrying him down the stairs.

  "Bacon pancakes, Dad!" he smiled, and then let his life Daniel Alan Rose become that much more cemented, and any other memor…fantasies fade away. It was good to be Daniel Rose. His life was easy and his parents adored him.

  "You know it."

  Dark Lady smiled, before fading away for the last time. No one needed her here. She could rest now.
