Swallowing Mayhem Page 5

by James Cox

Deviant’s big form walked past and we broke apart. He and his lover went into the chapel.

“Don’t fucking go anywhere.” Mayhem nipped at my bottom lip.

“Okay,” I whispered then we let go and he walked away. I saw him sit in his seat in the chapel and I swear to God my heart gave a lurch. How fucking stupid was that? I felt my chest tighten as he looked back and smiled at me. That rare, elusive expression that made this happiness swell within me. I grinned back. I turned to go upstairs because nonmembers weren’t allowed down here with a guest coming. I wasn’t sure who it would be either. I found out the moment I turned around. The man that came down the hall froze. Those eyes. My lips parted as I gasped. Those violet-colored eyes. His skin had darkened with age. I was staring at my former slave, the man that my father sold, the man that had saved that boy's life and made me doubt the world.

His eyes narrowed and his lips moved, but the words were like he was in slow motion. “Mo...ther...fuck...er.” Then the big black man launched himself in my direction.

He was twice my size. I had one choice—drop and roll. I fell to my knees, sending him flying over me. He spun around faster than I could get away. His big hand wrapped around my ankle and twisted. I cried out and fell. I couldn’t even hit him back. I kept picturing him tied to that pole, being cut after trying to save that boy. I knew Mayhem was right there, but I hadn’t expected the help so quickly. Mayhem was behind the guy and grabbing him by his shirt. He threw the black man away from me where another patch member, Romeo, came to stand in front of him.

“What the fuck, Justice!” Outlaw was yelling, standing between us, but not taking a particular side.

“I just found our fucking rat!” Justice yelled and then pushed his way toward me. He landed one solid shot to my stomach that double me over before Mayhem grabbed his arms.

They were inches apart, Mayhem’s body tense as he spoke. “Listen, brother. There’s a lot more going on than him just being a rat.”

“Rats die.” Justice wasn’t looking at Mayhem. He was looking at me. “This fucker should be killed.”

“That ain’t going to happen,” Mayhem said calmly. The tone belied his expression.

I hunched over and eased further back. I was no match for Justice, but Mayhem was. Problem was, I didn’t want him to fight my battles. “Can I talk before we start on the death threats?”

Outlaw stared at me, his eyes narrowed.

Great, everybody wanted to shoot me.

Outlaw pointed to the couch. “If he moves, Mayhem...”

Mayhem nodded. “He won’t.” He turned to me. “Sit. Tell them. Everything.”

Justice hissed out a breath. Romeo pulled him back toward the bar.

I noticed all the patch members went to that side of the room. The only one that stood beside me was Mayhem. I prayed to God that his choice wouldn’t get him killed.

  Chapter Seven

  I didn’t get a word out.

Justice wasn’t pushing at Romeo, but apparently he wasn’t through yelling at me. His violet-colored eyes were on Mayhem. “You’ve been swayed by a tight hole!”

Mayhem grunted. “I beat the shit out of him when I found out he lied, and then fucked him! He’s changed.”

“He’s fucked with your mind.” Justice kicked at the nearest stool

“Maybe so. Doesn’t change the fact that Torrin is on our side now.” Mayhem was still defending me.

“What the hell does that mean? Our side? He’s a rat. He doesn’t have a side.” Deviant spoke. He stood on the other side of the room, muscular arms crossed which offset his strawberry blond hair.

Mayhem tilted his head back and forth. “Don’t shoot him before he finishes.”

Shit. All gazes moved in my direction. “I’m...I was a peacekeeper.” A few club members cursed. “I was sent here to spy on you, to find proof that you’re all criminals beyond doubt so we could dismember the MC’s and stop the resistance.” I swallowed hard. “I didn’t know how wrong I was until I...I was with you guys.”

Justice scoffed. “You didn’t think beating a man for saving a kid was wrong?” He clenched his teeth together as Romeo grabbed his arms.

“I didn’t grow up in your world. Any of you. My father was rich. All I saw, all I learned, was that the rules were supposed to be followed.” I threw my hands up. Bad move. A few guys jerked their hands to weapons. “I didn’t know how wrong it was. I will forever be sorry for my involvement, but Mayhem showed me how fucked up the world is. A lot of people just don’t understand because they were brought up like me.” That sounded like an excuse. “I fucked up.”

Outlaw had been quiet, but his gazed moved from his men to me. Suddenly he stilled. “Torrin. I want you to be honest with me right now.”

  I nodded.

“Did you tell the peacekeepers about our plans to blow up their building? Is that how they knew?”

Fucking fuckers. “Yes.” My voice was breathy. In a silent room, it was hard to go unnoticed.

“Kill him,” Romeo shouted. “That almost got Justice killed. That got our men killed.”

Mayhem stood in front of me. “So you never made a mistake, Romeo?”

The flirt stared at Mayhem, eyes glaring.

“How was it you came to be with the Underground MC? You had sex with a man where they could catch you. We’ve all made mistakes.”

Romeo quieted for a moment then his head shot up. “Did you do that? Is it your fault we were followed and caught?”

Well, this was going oh so fucking well. I nodded.

Romeo launched himself at me. I twisted away, vaulted off the couch, and landed beside it as he crashed into it. Mayhem grabbed his shoulder and practically threw him toward Justice, who held the feisty man back.

“Enough!” Outlaw held his hands out. “Why are you telling us this now?”

  “I told you. I’ve changed.”

  “Bullshit,” Romeo yelled.

“Just fucking end him,” Justice added.

Outlaw stepped forward. “I am the goddamn president of this fucking club. I give the orders. I don’t take them. So shut the fuck up and let me think.” The room stilled. “You’re confessing because you fell in love with Mayhem?”

“He just showed me how wrong I was. I’m not suicidal.” I straightened since no one was launching at me. “I want to live. I also want to help this club and stop the other peacekeepers.”

Justice grunted. “Mayhem’s dick has gotta be magical for me to believe that bullshit.”

Mayhem grinned. “It’s all about being well hung and knowing how to use it.” He winked at Justice. “Torrin came clean. He wants to change and he’s able to give us the one thing we always wanted.”

Outlaw glared at me. “You think you have something that’ll save your life?”

“And let me keep my cut.” I licked my dry lips. “I know the blueprints for the government building.” The silence felt like a weight on my chest. I waited for something, anything to find out if I was going to be able to have Mayhem in my ass ever again.

Justice spit in my general direction. “Bullshit.”

“I know you hate me.” I took a step forward and Mayhem planted a hand on my shoulder. “What you don’t know is that when my father killed that boy, when he beat you and then sold you, I took off. It changed me seeing that and this...outlaw in me has been growing slowly since then. I haven’t spoken to him in years. Not since I saw him beat a child that died because of his injuries. I’m not a fucking monster. I just didn’t realize that everyone around me was.”

Outlaw spoke. “Members in the chapel, now. Beau, Tage, watch Torrin and keep a weapon on him. If he runs, shoot him.”

“That’s not necessary,” Mayhem said. His voice was a deep rumble.

“Humor me.” Outlaw pointed to the open doors.

I watched as they all went into the room, cluttered around the table and the doors closed. I sat on the couch. My body felt like it’d been through a damn fight. My ass wa
s still sore and now I had guns on me. This decision to come out was going really fucking well.

I waited on the seat as my fate was decided. It would be a bitch if they killed me, but I would take it. It made sense why I couldn’t own a slave. I always used the excuse that I had no patience to train one or I was never home. I just wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing I owned someone else. And women, how gentle I had been with them while the other men had been brutes. I felt bad for them, for their shitty role in life here on Mars. I spent many years denying the truth and if I lived I was determined to make up for that flaw.

The doors opened. I almost expected some kind of cheesy harp music to play or a sad melody so that I knew their decision. Mayhem walked out first and he gave me a wink. That was all it took. I knew I wasn’t going to die. Unless I read the look wrong but would he really wink at me if they were about to put a bullet in my head and dump me in some unmarked grave? I didn’t think so. It was Outlaw who came toward me.

“You almost got killed in there.”

  I nodded.

“We’re going to use your cover to feed the peacekeepers bullshit. I’m not sure what yet. But it’ll be something that helps the clubs and will get you listed as an MC spy.”

“I can live with that.” I really could.

“You’re going to be searched every day. No exceptions. You are never alone in the clubhouse. You’re going to give us those blueprints and you will help us in any way we say.”

  “Agreed,” I spoke quietly.

“You live. You keep the cut. For now.” He took my hand and pulled me to my feet. “I hope you’re fucking serious, Torrin. You lied, you betrayed us, that sting ain’t gonna fade easy.”

“I know it.” I swallowed hard.

“Stay away from Justice and Romeo. They’re liable to kill you for flinching.”

  “Okay.”

Outlaw pointed to Whip. “He’ll create the blueprints. You tell him every fucking nook and cranny with weapons in that building.”

“I will.” Mayhem grabbed my arm, pushing me toward the MC member with bracelets on his arms and a few necklaces dangling from his neck. We sat at the bar and he used his high-tech holographic program to put a picture to my words. The club dispersed as I started to describe the government building. I gave my best, my all, and told them the rooms I’d been in. Where I’d spotted weapons though I was sure I hadn’t seen them all. At least now, the club had an inkling of what to expect in there. If they were going in there. I wasn’t privy to that yet. It took time to create a 3D rendering. About two hours had passed before I sat back, the image complete. Whip had spoken a bare minimum to me. Asking dimensions, ceiling height, weapons capability, and that was pretty much it. I expected the club to deem me untrustworthy, maybe even hate me. At least I wasn’t dead, I had the rest of my life to prove that I was a new man, that I was an outlaw.

Whip led me from the living room to Mayhem’s bedroom. It was empty, but he ordered me to stay here. Then he left, leaving the door open.

What the hell was I supposed to do? Where was Mayhem? I wound up taking a piss then shoving clothes into his dresser and closing it. I threw away the used condom then clicked the button that dissolved the holographic curtains. It let in the dark night and bright stars. I made the bed and took off my shoes. It was a lot of waiting around. At least my erection was taken care of. I paced for a while, hearing nothing in the clubhouse then I lay on Mayhem’s bed. My hands were behind my back, and I was staring at the ceiling. I don’t know exactly when I fell asleep, but my eyelids were closed when I heard the door shut. I popped up, staring at Mayhem as he walked toward the bed. “Everything okay?”

He nodded, smoking a cigar that was already half gone. “You did good.”

“Well, I’m not dead so that’s a plus.” I rubbed my eyes, trying to get rid of that sluggish feeling. “I can’t believe that’s how the club found out.” My former slave was alive and thriving. It actually made me feel better knowing he was okay. Of course, it would have been nice to find that out without the shit that went down.

“We were motoring you, dumb fuck.” He winced as if that came out harsher than he meant. I was already used to his colorful dialogue. “We were seeing if you’d call for backup or run for it.”

I sat up straighter. “I’m not.” Did Mayhem think I would revert? “You know that right, Mayhem? I’m not going back to the peacekeepers.”

“Course I know that,” he said, his words muffled by the cigar. He pulled his shirt over his head, showing off his tattoos and muscles.

I was sore from fucking, but I wanted to do it again. I loved it and I’d only had it one time. Can you say, addicted? “What happens now?”

He toed off his boots and sucked on his cigar. That smell was filling the room, smoky, cinnamon, Mayhem. “We sleep while Outlaw details the next phase of our plan.”

  “What’s the next step?”

Mayhem tugged his pants down, showing off his gray boxers and thick thighs scattered with dark hair. “Our goal is to take down the government, Wexmen, and his loyal group of fucking bastards.” Mayhem tugged on the tie and his hair fell down, resting on his shoulders. “When we have a solid plan, I’ll see if I can let you in.” He paused. “You have to earn their trust.”

“I know.” It didn’t make me feel left out or anything. They were right. I had to earn my place back into this club, but maybe I could help with the plan. Mayhem pulled the blanket back and settled in. I wasn’t sure what to do. I know cuddle, sleep. Did we spoon or some shit?

“Stop fucking thinking and get over here before I forget how sore your pretty ass is and fuck you anyway.”

I snorted, shifting so that I was lying beside Mayhem. I was facing him and he grabbed my hand, holding it. “This is just all new shit for me to get used to.”

He nodded. “Wait until we both wake up hard.” He winked then closed his eyes.

Great, now I really wasn’t going to be able to sleep.

  Chapter Eight

So warm. My skin felt like it was pressed up against a heating device. I inhaled and smiled. The scent was softer, but I knew it was Mayhem. I opened my eyes to see him beneath me. My arms were thrown over his torso and I was laying my head on his bicep. He made a comfortable pillow. I heard his soft breathing followed by a snore. It made me smile. The big man snored. The things you learn when you slept next to another guy. I still had pants on, but they were tented. Normally, I’d blame it on morning wood but I knew my dick hardened when I saw him. Mayhem. Handsomest badass I’d ever seen. Damn, look at me. Lying here, staring at another guy, and sounding like a smitten lover. I guess I kind of was.

I slid my palm up his torso, easily over the curve of his pec, and laid my hand on his chest. His breathing changed. The snoring tapered off and Mayhem opened one eye. “Morning.”

Mayhem growled, rolling me over. He kissed me viciously. Ravaging my lips with his. Mayhem stuck his tongue in my mouth and swept me away with the sensations. I barely had time to think as his hands went between us and cupped my crotch. I groaned into his mouth. This was a hell of a way to wake up. My heart was pounding as he tugged at my pants. Mayhem slid his hand under the rim, sitting up so he could pry the buttons apart and reveal my dick. He hadn’t said a single word and still didn’t. I was gasping from the kiss as he stroked my erection from base to tip. Then I was the one who sat up and kissed him. I fought for control, knowing it was a losing battle, but damn was it fun.

Mayhem pushed me back down. He started pulling on my pants. “Never wear clothes to bed again,” he spoke as he finally freed one leg. He left my other leg still covered as he wrapped his fingers around my dick. Mayhem stroked me once, twice, three times.

My hips thrust upward in complete pleasure. I couldn’t believe I was missing waking up like this every day. “Mayhem.” His name came out shaky.

“Shut up,” he ordered and took my head into his mouth.

My hips came up off the bed, sending my dick between his lip
s deeper. I closed my eyes then opened them, not wanting to miss watching him take my length. “You’re also...” I hissed out a breath. “So.” Mayhem sucked my tip hard. “Poetic.” Damn that was hard to get out. He grunted. I think it might have been a chuckle but with my cock bumping the back of his throat, I couldn’t tell. I was fucking drowning in the hyperactive nerves in my shaft. His lips, his teeth, his tongue, and the damn sucking. I was pushing my hips upward as Mayhem came down. He took about half my length in and then cupped my balls. He stroked them before fitting his lips over my tip and sucking really fucking hard. I cried out, grabbing his head. My fingers sank into his long black locks and I pulled. He had released me for all of three seconds before he went back down on my dick. This time Mayhem took all of me down his throat. I couldn’t describe the sounds I was making. Not groans, not moans, not exactly words. It was guttural, animalistic, as Mayhem held me in his throat. He swallowed, making me pull his hair and I watched as my dick slid out of his mouth, dripping with saliva. Mayhem kissed my base, then my balls before he licked my thigh. I heard him clear his throat then move off the bed. More butt sex? I was excited. My ass was still kind of sore though.

Mayhem grabbed my arms and turned me so my head was hanging off the bed then straddled me. His balls were right there so I reached with my tongue and stroked them. It felt like the thing to do. Mayhem knelt over me, taking my dick in his mouth again. My ass muscles clenched, sending shards of pain through my body but they added to the pleasure of it. “Open that mouth.”
