  CHAPTER 1

Miranda couldn’t take these feelings any more, the frustration of her sex drive, or lack thereof, was driving her up the wall. It was coming up on a year anniversary since Matt had cheated on her and she hadn’t had sex since the night she found out what a cheating bastard Matt really was. That skinny bitch, she thought grudgingly. Before he had met that woman at work, Matt had worshipped the ground Miranda walked on. He had loved and cherished all 240 pounds of her big, beautiful body.

When Matt had met Miranda, that wonderful night he’d decided to head out with a few of his Spanish friends, and Miranda had just so happened to be out at the Latino club, Red Fume, which they dragged him to.

Miranda had been dancing her worries and stresses of the week away with her two best friends when Matt had bumped into her and spilled one of the beers he had been carrying all down the back of her new dress.

“Hey! Oh my god… I just bought this dress!” Miranda looked down at the backside of her hot pink sequined dress and sighed.

“I am so sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was..” Matt started to stammer out an apology and then stopped as he made direct eye contact with Miranda. His lips parted in a very seductive way and he smiled. “Wow, you are gorgeous.”

Miranda had been about to get mad at him and tell him that he better be paying for the dry cleaning, but when she saw his incredibly sexy smile and heard the compliment, she completely forgot that she had been planning on chewing him out about the dress. “Aww, thank you, that’s super sweet of you.” Miranda smiled her most flirtatious smile back at him, “You are pretty handsome yourself.”

“My name is Matt, here, let me get that for you.”

Matt bent down and put down the two beers he was holding into the ground between where they stood. Next, he reached down to his waistline and grabbed the hem of his shirt, pulling it up and over his head. Miranda’s eyes danced across his chest and devoured every inch of his sexy abs and tanned skin. Matt began dabbing at her backside with his t-shirt. “I really wasn’t looking where I was walking, but am I ever glad that I bumped into you.’ He murmured as he gently patted the beer stain off her butt.

“It’s ok, really... “ Miranda was unable to take her eyes off his beautiful body.

“It’s not though, this dress looks amazing on you. I will have to get your number so that I can get it dry cleaned for you.” He looked her straight in the eyes and winked, flashing his sexy smile again.

Miranda giggled like a little girl. “Sure!” She smiled the biggest smile ever, feeling her cheeks pinching from how happy she felt from all the attention he was giving her.

Matt finished dabbing up as much of the beer as he could, gently giving her a little pat on the butt once he was done. “Beautiful.” He murmured, admiring her big booty. He put his shirt over his shoulder and pulled his cell phone out of his jean pocket. “Alright gorgeous, what is your name?” He smiled at her again, making her clench up from excitement.

  CHAPTER 2

“Miranda.” She smiled at him and she ran her hand over her backside and noticed that most of the beer was gone, he was very effective.

“Beautiful name for a beautiful woman. What’s your phone number Miranda?” The way he said her name made it sound exotic even though it was far from it.

“219-546-2645” Miranda couldn’t wait for him to call her. There was a chemistry between them that was burning like a wildfire, and she couldn’t wait to see how hot that fire got.

“Alright Miranda, I would love to stay and talk to you more now, but I see several girls standing over there that seem to be watching us very intently, and I can only assume that those are your friends?”

Miranda looked behind her in the direction that Matt was looking. He was right, her friends were standing there and they were definitely staring at them. When she looked over they made eyes at her and waved frantically for her to come over to them. She felt a red flush creep up onto her cheeks. “Oh god… yes, those are my friends. Sorry, I should probably go, they’ll get annoyed, it’s supposed to be a ladies night.”

“That’s what I figured. I’m here with some guy friends, now I’ll have to go and buy my friend another beer and figure out where they’ve gotten off to. It was a pleasure meeting you Miranda, I will call you tomorrow. Be safe tonight and have fun.” He reached down and grabbed her hand, kissing it gently before turning and walking away.

Miranda watched him walk away and then turned grudgingly back towards her impatient friends. When she got back to where they were standing, she was instantly bombarded with questions.

  “Who was that!?” Cindy squealed.

“Holy sex machine! Did you see his abs!?” Charlotte was actually craning her neck to see if she could still find him in the crowd.

“Yes! He was totally hot! Why did he take his shirt off and what the hell was going on with him massaging your ass for like ten minutes?” Cindy was now standing with her arms crossed, staring at Miranda and looking over-protective.

“He wasn’t massaging my ass you weirdo! He spilled his beer on me and then he took his shirt off to soak the beer up with it.” Miranda laughed.

“He was totally into you!” Charlotte was back to earth now, no longer searching the crowd for Matt.

“Ya, I think you’re right, he actually asked for my number…” Miranda looked down at her hands and then sighed. “But he said it was so that he could get my dress dry cleaned.”

“That’s awesome! It’s totally a line, he’s going to ask you out!” Charlotte was swooning.

“Be careful Miranda, that guy looks like he could have any girl in this club.” Cindy was still frowning at Miranda.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Miranda immediately got defensive, Cindy was their skinny friend, and every once in awhile, without intending to be hurtful, she could say things that were hurtful.

  CHAPTER 3

“I just mean he’s a really attractive guy, maybe he’s some kind of player.”

“Or maybe he’s just really hot and really into Miranda!” Charlotte got on the defense too.

“OK, OK, we’ll see.” Cindy uncrossed her arms and grabbed her drink from their table.

“Don’t be such a debbie-downer!” Charlotte grabbed two martinis off the table and handed one to Miranda. “To new love!” She proposed a toast in her over the top positive way.

“Why not!” Miranda toasted with Charlotte and Cindy and then took a big sip of the martini. Regardless of whether he actually liked her or not, Miranda was excited and felt really sexy right now. “Let’s dance!” She finished her martini in two more big sips and then dragged her friends out onto the dance floor, enjoying the rest of the evening.

The next day, Matt had called her after lunch and Charlotte was right, he asked her out. Matt and Miranda ended up spending everyday together for the next few weeks and then before she knew it, they were in a full on relationship. They were together for almost nine months before she had found out that he was cheating on her with a woman from his work. Miranda was so in love with Matt that it completely broke her heart when she found out, and it hadn’t been a nice way to find out either. She had been over at his house and they had just finished making love, when she rolled over to grab her dress off the floor and she saw a pair of lacy blue panties sitting just out of view under the bed. She grabbed them and
held them up, they were tiny. They definitely were not hers.

“What the fuck Matt! Whose panties are these?” Miranda’s hand was starting to tremble as she threw the panties into his face and jumped up off the bed.

“Oh fuck. Miranda… fuck…” Matt grabbed the panties and put them down on the bed. Guilt and exasperation darkened his beautiful facial features instantly.

“Don’t ‘Miranda’ me, what the fuck did you do?” She was full on shaking and trembling as the reality of what was happening started to hit her. Miranda started crying as she pulled her dress on.

“It was just the one time, we got carried away and I regretted it Miranda. I didn’t want you to find out, not like this...” Miranda couldn’t believe that Matt was trying to excuse himself for having sex with another woman, in the very bed that he had just made love to Miranda in.

“Who is she?” Miranda wiped her tears away and stood strong at the foot of the bed.

“This woman from work… it was a mistake Miranda, please forgive me.” Matt was sitting there naked, looking at her with desperation.

“How could you do that to me?” Miranda was shaking again and she could feel the tears forming again. It was like a tidal wave of emotion was sweeping through her body.

“It just… it just happened… we went out for dinner and had some drinks, too many drinks… and we ended up back here… I’m sorry Miranda.” Matt looked down at the panties and he sighed deeply, “It just happened.”

  CHAPTER 4

Miranda looked at the panties too and noticed again how tiny they were. Whoever this woman was, she was half the size of Miranda. For some reason, the fact that she was a skinny girl made Miranda’s stomach turn and it made the fact that he cheated on her even more painful. Miranda decided in that moment that she was done with him, she wouldn’t be able to forgive him for something like this, this was huge.

“You make me sick.” Miranda turned on her heel and stormed out of the room, grabbing her purse off the counter as she made her way straight for the front door. The second she was out onto the street, Miranda burst into tears once more, sobbing big hard sobs as she walked quickly down the street, as far and as fast away from his house as possible.

She ended up at Charlotte’s apartment and Charlotte buzzed her in and called Cindy to come over. The three of them drank margaritas all night and Cindy ranted about how she knew he was a cheating piece of shit the entire time.

“Remember when I warned you to watch out for him?” Cindy said in her know-it-all tone.

“Cindy, come on. Miranda’s been through enough for one day. Let’s have another round and swear off men forever!” Charlotte got up to go and make some more margaritas in the kitchen.

“I thought he was the one…” Miranda said sadly into her glass.

“Oh hunny, it’s OK. Come here.” Cindy dropped the whole stern look and pulled Miranda into a big hug. “We’re here for you. You deserve better than someone like that. He doesn’t know what he’s lost. You are an amazing person Miranda, I love you.”

Miranda hugged Cindy tightly and started crying again. She knew that her friends loved her, but she wanted a man, she wanted love, and for a few months, it seemed like she had it all. A handsome man, a loving relationship… all of it was gone now.

“Shh Miranda, you’ll meet someone else. Someone better. Someone amazing.” Cindy was rubbing her back while she hugged Miranda.

“Sure.” Miranda said absentmindedly as tears streamed down her face.

  CHAPTER 5

Now it was almost a year since that awful night, and Miranda hadn’t met anyone. Not only had she not met anyone, but she hadn’t even had a one night stand. She needed to get laid and she was getting to the point of exasperation over it. She was incredibly frustrated every day. Going from having sex with Matt every day for nine months, sometimes even twice or three times in one day, to not having sex for almost an entire year was killing her. Miranda was a very sexual person when she was with someone that she could make love to at will, and as a sexual person, Miranda needed sex.

Not that she hadn’t tried to meet people. Her friends and her went out at least once a month to different clubs and bars for their ladies nights, and on the odd occasion, Miranda had tried to start up conversations with men. Each time she seemed to fail miserably; she would end up picking a guy that had a girlfriend or one that was a total douche bag, and then for the rest of the night, she wouldn’t even feel like trying again.

Her hopes were getting let down constantly, and Miranda was starting to get worried that maybe there was something wrong with her. Maybe she was going to be alone for the rest of her life. Maybe she was destined to have a bunch of cats or something stupid and lame like that. Her friends told her that there was nothing wrong with her though, and they were constantly assuring her that she would never end up alone with a bunch of cats because they would never allow it.

Aside from all her pent up sexual frustration, today was turning out to be one of the longest days at work in the history of her job. Everything and anything that could go wrong, did. Miranda worked at a law firm as the executive assistant to one of the partners of the firm. The pay was good and her boss, Mr. Roth, treated her well, even though he was known for being stern, and he even gave her bonuses on jobs well done and Miranda really enjoyed working for him. Her job was beyond busy and every day she faced new challenges.

Today however, was a total nightmare. She had reserved the conference room for a big meeting that Mr. Roth was having at 1:30pm with a semi-celebrity client, yet when she went to set up for the meeting at 1:15pm, there were already people in the room. Miranda panicked and had to arrange for Mr. Roth to meet with the client at a restaurant nearby, which neither him nor his client were very happy about. Then after Miranda had finally managed to sort out that debacle, the InterCity Courier service returned to sender a legal document that she had shipped out last week, that absolutely had to be delivered by yesterday. Which it clearly was not delivered, because here it was in Miranda’s hands.

Mr. Roth was going to kill her. He had expressly told her that if the document wasn’t delivered by yesterday at noon, then they wouldn’t be able to submit it as evidence and the whole case would be up in the air. Miranda stood in the hallway, watching the InterCity Courier man walking out of the office and felt her world crashing down around her because the most important thing she had been given to do was now a complete and utter failure. Looking down at the envelope in her hands, Miranda had no idea what to do. She would have to send it out again by courier today, but it wouldn’t be there until tomorrow at noon. She was totally screwed.

  CHAPTER 6

Suddenly Miranda felt a strange pain in her chest. A sharp, pinching pain that made her whole chest feel tight. Her hands felt very sweaty and she blinked as little black specs started to form in her vision. Miranda felt very faint and her breathing began to speed up, her heart was pounding in her chest like a drum. Stopping to put a steadying hand on the wall beside where she stood, she was vaguely aware of the receptionist asking her if she was alright. The next thing she knew, Miranda awoke on the ground in the hallway with several of her co-workers standing around her.

“Give her some space, back up please!” Katie, the tiny receptionist from the front desk was shooing away the people gathered around.

  “Is she OK?”

  “What happened?”

“She fainted I think, just passed out cold and hit her head pretty hard on the ground.”

Miranda felt a throbbing pain emanating from the back of her head. She tried to move to stand up, but felt dizzy still and stayed down on the ground, trying to piece together what had just happened.

“Miranda, don’t get up yet. You hit your head pretty hard. Jane from first aid is on her way up from downstairs, we called her a few minutes ago.” Katie was looking very concerned.

“Oh, it’s ok, I must have fainted or something.” Miranda made to push herself into a sitting position, using her arms to f
orce her body upright. Her head was pounding where it had connected with the floor.

“Jane is going to want to take a look at your head. You might have to go to the hospital.”

“OK. Katie? Can you get me a glass of water please?” Miranda was feeling very thirsty.

“Sure thing Miranda. Stay sitting, I’ll be right back. Katie scurried away to fetch the water. A few of the other bystanders had dispersed and only two people remained, both looking rather concerned, but probably just using her accident as a means of escaping work for a few more minutes.

“I’m fine you guys, I’ll just wait here for Jane. Go ahead and get back to business.” Miranda felt a wave of nausea as she noticed the envelope sitting on the floor beside her. That damn courier had come and given me that evidence document back and I went and fainted for the whole office to see. Miranda rolled her eyes at her own stupidity.

Jane was there before Katie was back with the water. She began checking Miranda’s vitals and asking her questions about what had happened.
