I grabbed onto his hair and screamed as I came. The divider definitely wasn’t soundproof enough to conceal that. I hoped the driver wasn’t into gossip.
Cameron climaxed along with me, his thick cock pulsing with his release, and we collapsed in a sweaty heap into each other’s arms.
“I can move to Dallas if you want me to,” he said.
I shook my head against his chest. “I don’t want to live in Dallas. I want to be here with you.”
I wanted a new life, one where I wasn’t dragging around ten years worth of baggage. “Let’s get a new place,” I said. “Somewhere that’s ours.”
“I’d like that,” he whispered into my ear.
I listened to the even sound of his breathing until the limo stopped and we retreated to his apartment.
Chapter 13
Cameron
“You’ve got this,” I told Dylan. We both had a side of the couch we were moving into our brand new apartment. It was a great place in an up-and-coming area. The kind of place made for building new futures.
“This … is ... why … we should … have hired … movers,” Dylan panted.
“Aw, I love seeing your face all flushed.”
She laughed and nearly dropped the couch on my foot. Truth be told, we probably should have hired movers. This was more intense than any workout at the gym.
It had taken us three months to make all the arrangement to move in together. Dylan had needed to have her things shipped over from Dallas. She’d also had to quit her job and find a new one in the city. I must have asked her a dozen times if she was sure about that, but she’d just smiled and said she was. She seemed to love her new job, and watching her love it made me happy.
The hardest part of the move had been telling her brother. He’d taken the news surprisingly well. He was happy for us. Apparently he’d suspected there was something more going on between us for a while now and had been patiently waiting for us to figure it out for ourselves.
I was thankful every day that I’d realized it in time.
We got the couch in its spot and collapsed on top of it.
“Was that the last of it?” Dylan asked.
I looked around our apartment. It was filled with boxes, furniture, and the clutter of combining two lives together and making something new.
“Yeah,” I said. “That’s all of it.”
She wiped sweat off her forehead and got back to her feet. “We should get unpacking.”
I loved the way she said ‘we.’ I loved being half of a couple with her. It felt so much more complete than being without her.
I followed her into the kitchen and helped her set a box of dishes on the counter.
She cut open the tape with the scissors and began pulling plates out. I helped her put them away while trying to think of a way to phrase a question.
“What do you think about diamonds?” I asked. Smooth, Richmond.
Dylan’s forehead wrinkled as she looked at the plate in her hands. “Diamonds? In general … they’re nice, I suppose. All girls like diamonds, right? I don’t know how I feel about them on dinner plates, though.”
I took the plate out of her hand and set it down, then wrapped my hands around hers and stroked her ring finger. “How would you like one right here?”
Her eyes widened, then she looked up at me with tears gathering in her eyes. “Really? Absolutely, yes. Yes, yes, yes!”
She threw her arms around me and kissed me.
I pulled her to me as I kissed her back. I loved this woman so much. It was impossible that I’d managed to survive ten years without her, and I never intended to try to again.
“I love you,” she told me through her tears.
I kissed her cheek. “I love you, too. Always have, princess.”

“Wow just wow! This is one hot steamy sticky read that I just couldn't put down!” –Maria York, Goodreads Reviewer
“This was a great little story. For those of you who let the title scare you, get over it and read the book. This was a romance. Oh yes, there was some light bondage and spanking, but the romance overshadowed all. The instant attraction, the slow build up, the guilt, the smoking hot love scenes, the final realization that this was more than lust. The supporting characters were also fab. I can't wait for the next book, soon I hope.” – Stephanie, Goodreads Reviewer
